I seldom agree with socialists

But I agree with this one, on this one issue:
Mr. Kühnert, who at 28 runs the youth wing of Germany’s center-left Social Democratic Party, has been touring the country to convince fellow party members to vote down a coalition deal that would keep Ms. Merkel in power for another four years — and his own party in place as the junior partner to her Christian Democrats.

Three months ago, few people had heard of Mr. Kühnert. Now, his boyish face with its rebellious cowlick is ubiquitous. He is a regular on prime time talk shows and routinely described as a rising star of German politics.

But he is also an enfant terrible for Europe’s political elites, who breathed a sigh of relief when Ms. Merkel announced last month that she had secured a governing deal, seemingly ending five months of political limbo in Europe’s most important capital.

But that left one major obstacle, and partly because of Mr. Kühnert’s spirited campaign it has been growing taller by the day: The grass roots of the Social Democracts still need to approve the deal.

The result of the vote will be announced Sunday. If the 463,000 members reject the coalition, Germany faces the prospect of an unstable minority government or new elections or both. In any case, it would likely spell the end of the Merkel era.
Merkel müss weg, as they say in Germany. At this point, she's only the second-worst Reichskanzler the Germans have ever known. But give her more time, and she might manage to accomplish what even Caesar, Stalin, and Hitler failed to do.

No matter what your ideology is, no matter what your political instincts are, stopping a politician who is hell-bent on destroying your nation by turning the country over to immigrants should always be the first political priority.

It was interesting to watch The Godfather II recently, given the way it can be not unreasonably viewed as an extended lesson in the way immigrants, even intelligent, hard-working immigrants who bravely serve their new country's military, can corrupt a nation from the bottom to the very top.

The emotional continence of little girls

If you ever wonder why I'm still around while the various bloggers of yesteryears past have mostly gone by the wayside over time, this shrieking overreaction by the Z-Man to the God-Emperor's latest apparent blunder should serve as a reasonable explanation.
This jackass has undone generations of hard work by the very people who put him in office. Not even that feckless nitwit George Bush did something this egregiously stupid. Even Barak Obama was unwilling to go this far. This idiocy is right up there with Poppy Bush breaking his tax promise in order to get the Democrats in Washington to like him. It worked. They loved him, which was why he was a one term president. Trump is now setting himself up to follow Bush into the void of stupidity.

Now, the counter argument you will hear is that Trump is just playing more 4-D chess and this will amount to nothing. Well, a smart politicians would know enough to not do that with this issue. This is not a parlor game. The pro-gun voter has no sense of humor on this stuff and they have zero tolerance for limp-wristed politicians too afraid of the girls to do the right thing. Speaking only for myself, I’d vote for a gay black Muslim over Trump right now. That’s right. I’d vote for Obama over Trump, just to send the 2A message.

I think everyone who voted for Trump understood they were getting a guy who would be long on bullshit and short of tangible accomplishments. The point of voting for him was to send a message, but also legitimize populist issues. Trump was the guy who would flip over the tables and discredit the status quo, opening the door for ambitious politicians to run on patriotic issues like immigration reform. Trump would build his wall, end some of the egregious immigration abuses, but the real work would be up to those who come next.

So far, Trump is looking like he is not going to deliver anything other than blowing his own horn every day and maybe dodging prison in the Mueller probe. Worse yet, the trade-off for his vanity will be the undermining of the one cause that truly defines what’s left of old stock America. By legitimizing gun-grabbing and executive fiat, he has just made it possible for the next President Obama to DACA the gun issue, by issuing new gun laws via executive order. Trump is proving to be one step forward and ten steps backward.

The one lesson of the Trump era is to not put too much stock in what Trump says. He is, after all, a bullshitter. He’s also a guy who will wheel on a dime if he senses he is on the wrong side. He is rather shameless in that regard. Still, the damage he has done to the cause of gun rights is incalculable and it will not be forgotten. Unless he eventually signs off on some bold pro-gun laws, lots of his voters will choose to spend the election day at the range come 2020, rather than cast a vote for a duplicitous gun grabber.
And Trump can never break 35 percent, never win the nomination, blah freaking blah. Didn't we literally just go through this with DACA and the Dreamers? Do the shrieking little girls of the Right never learn that politicians sometimes say things that are not true?

Now, I don't like Trump's response to the post-Parkland media campaign either. And I can assure you that the response that I recommend would have been considerably more forthright than anything I've seen the Z-man or anyone else advise, which is apparently to do nothing and trust the states.

On an issue like guns, doing nothing is usually the best course. Most states are sensible on guns, so letting the states handle it is good for us.

Not necessarily. In any event, this is what I would advise instead of doing nothing and trusting the states to be sensible.
  1. Arrest Dan Israel, take Nikolas Cruz into custody, stop the demolition of the school, and order an investigation into the Broward County Sheriff's Office, the Secret Service, and every other federal, state, local agency that had any contact with that school in the last six months. Then publish the results of the investigation and have the DOJ prosecute the various guilty parties.
  2. Criminalize the public advocacy of gun control, using the anti-BDS template. Any television or radio station advocating gun control would lose its broadcasting license. Any corporation advocating gun control would lose its federal contracts.
  3. Announce mandatory carry reciprocity between states on pain of losing federal highway funds.
  4. Stop all federal funding to all universities, colleges, and schools that ban guns on campus.
  5. Announce an executive order suspending all state and local gun control laws.
So, let's not pretend that I'm not as hard core and absolutist about gun rights as anyone else. That being said, John Derbyshire is right. Who else do we have besides Trump? There is no point in taking your ball and going home, because unless you are actually going to go out and take action to shut down the gun control advocates by yourself, the God-Emperor is literally all we have on the political front.

I'm not saying that we should support him in even speaking soothing words to the insane people who want to kill him and impose a violent dictatorship on a disarmed American people. I'm not saying that I think his actions are wise, well-advised, or even sensible. I'm not saying that one shouldn't feel discouraged, annoyed, or even angry about what looks very much like a foolish and unnecessarily damaging political blunder.

But I am saying that it accomplishes nothing to throw a tantrum and very publicly withdraw your support from the God-Emperor, especially when we all know that you're going to be slinking back and hoping that no one notices when you try to quietly clamber back aboard the Trump Train rather than be left behind with Ben Shapiro, Bill Kristol, Mona Charen, Rick Wilson, and all the rest of the Never-Trump losers.

At the very least, wait until Trump actually does something rather than merely makes another of his self-contradictory public statements before you reach any firm conclusions about his actual intentions or the probable consequences.

Gun grab in Minnesota

HF 3022 is not going to pass the state legislature, but the fact that the anti-gunners are even trying is sufficient cause for tarring, feathering, and generally Concord/Lexington-style reaction:
HF 3022 is now in the Legislature

– Permit required to own a gun
– Permit required to buy a gun
– Permit required to sell a gun
– Local law enforcement gets to deny all types of gun permits
– Local law enforcement gets to deny permits to carry
– Personal medical information must be shared with law enforcement
– All firearm transfers must be reported
– All guns must be registered (fees set by local law enforcement)
– Registration must be renewed annually
– Local law enforcement may conduct warrantless “safety inspections” of gun owner’s homes
– Local law enforcement sets “safe storage” policies
– Five day waiting period for all transfers
– Transfers must be done through an FFL (even between private parties)
– Fees may be charged for transfers
– Local law enforcement may conduct background investigation on transfers
– Total ban on any gun which meets broad “assault weapon” definition – banned guns must be destroyed or surrendered
– Ban thumbhole stocks
– Ban adjustable stocks
– Ban pistol grip stocks
– Limit fixed magazine capacity to 7 rounds
– Ban any magazine capable of holding more than 7 rounds
– Suspension of gun rights based on complaints from anonymous parties
– Recriminalization of suppressors
– Bump stock ban
– All ammunition sales will be registered
– Permit required to purchase ammunition

Almost forgot an important thing —

HF 3022 would also make gun owner private data public. This would include:

Number and type of guns you own
Your address
It's time for 2nd Amendment advocates to get serious and go on the offensive. If advocating the boycott of Israel can be criminalized, then advocating the infringement of American gun rights can damn well be criminalized too.

Gun rights activists should start demanding that their representatives pass laws requiring fines and jail time for anyone who advocates violating the unalienable rights of Americans by calling for gun laws. In case it's not obvious to you, the 2nd Amendment is considerably more important than the 1st Amendment.

Mailvox: eCONcomics and limited editions

Written by economist Steve Keen, one of the few professional economists to have correctly anticipated the global financial crisis of 2008, eCONcomics is a series of three satires explaining why the science of economics has gone so terribly wrong. In these savagely erudite satires, Keen highlights the lameness of the excuses offered by economists for their failure to predict anything from the financial crisis to the recent stock market highs. From "secular stagnation" to the "non-accelerating inflation rate of employment" and the "full employment real interest rate", Keen expertly mocks both the myths and the incompetence of his professional colleagues.

After reading eCONcomics, you will understand why no economist ever seems to be able to explain what is going on today, or tell you what will happen tomorrow.

Steve Keen is Professor of Economics at Kingston University in London, and an Honorary Professor at University College London.

I wasn't planning to announce this until next week, as it's still not in stock on Amazon, and there are some pricing/discount issues that we have to resolve, but since I know some of you are checking out the Castalia Books Direct store and it's as cheap to ship five comics as one, I figured I'd go ahead and make the print edition of Steve Keen's economics comic book available to those who are interested today: eCONcomics: Taking the CON out of Economics.

Which, I will warn you, even in comic book form is challenging. On the other hand, it is indubitably a unique collector's item from one of the great minds of economics. Imagine owning a first edition of Albert Einstein's first comic book....

Anyhow, this is a larger 10x7 32-page book that we did not originally plan on selling anywhere but through Amazon and the chain stores - the comic stores are hardly going to carry a highly esoteric educational one-off - so we set a low retail price and a low discount. The problem is that this means the $4.99 price on the Castalia Direct store is actually higher than the $3.99 retail price. We will resolve that somehow, but whether it involves raising the retail price and the discount or something else, I simply don't know. So, if you very understandably would prefer to wait for the retail price, it should be on Amazon by the end of the next week. While it is being published by Castalia, for the time being I put it in the Arkhaven collection on the store for simplicity's sake. You can even pick up a copy of Steve's Can We Avoid Another Financial Crisis? while you're there.

Also, a reader who is a former comic book store guy had an idea for how we could produce limited collector's editions to benefit the early supporters. He suggested that we do something to signify the first X number of copies printed, such as a gold Arkhaven logo or whatever, as this would potentially increase their value to collectors down the road. While I'm not interested in playing the variant covers game, or charging people more for mirrored reflective holographic covers, something like this that doesn't cost the reader any more and simply rewards those who were the first to support our new comics strikes me as a win-win situation.

So, is this of any interest to the collectors in our midst, and if it is, what should X be? Our goal is to eventually hit average issue sales of at least 50,000, so keep in mind that we probably want to establish a limited edition base that we will not change in the future. Also keep in mind that it costs us both time and money to make this change on every single comic, not much, but enough that we don't want to do it for 50 or 100 comics. My thought is that something in the range between 500 and 5,000 would be about right, but I will defer to the wisdom of the enthusiasts.

And finally, how would you like us to signify these collector's editions? The aforementioned gold logo, distinctive yet tasteful? A giant garish COLLECTOR'S EDITION stamp? Share your thoughts.

Changing the game

That's right. It has begun. Single-issue, full-color comics with at least one extra page of story for 24.5 percent less than the average price of the top 300-selling comics... and at your local bookstore.

Or you can buy directly from us. Not the ebook, the print edition. And if you're just curious, you can even read them free if you've got Kindle Unlimited.

It's just a trickle now, of course. But the deluge is coming. The deluge is definitely coming.

UPDATE: A helpful reader has worked out the US shipping charges. Apparently the best deals are to buy 2 paperbacks + 1-5 comics or 10-16 comics for $3.49 shipping, or 1 paperback + 1-4 comics for $3.99 shipping. We have no idea why it is less expensive to ship 10 comics than 6, but that is not our department. As for outside the USA, we expect to be able to sell directly to Europe and the UK within a month or so. No word on Australia as yet.

You don't say

A Hillary staffer attends CPAC:
‘Make sure to check in with us!” one friend told me. “Try not to get killed,” another warned. I wasn’t off to a war zone or a spy mission in Moscow. I was riding a bus from New York to Washington to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference.

To be sure, I’m a tiny, talkative South Asian woman who spent four months on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign staff. I wasn’t exactly in my element surrounded by people in “Make America Great Again” hats chanting “Lock her up! Lock her up!“ But there was more to CPAC than that....

I found myself ... nodding my head in agreement with parts of Ben Shapiro’s speech.
Imagine that.

Americans don't need God

At least, not to be good. Or so most of them think.
Americans took God out of public schools. And universities, mostly. And, over the years, government. And social issues. And holiday references. And there even have been attempts to banish God, or belief in Him, from business, including in the fight over abortion funding in Obamacare.

So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that a new Pew Research poll found 56 percent of Americans say it’s not necessary to believe in God to be moral and have good values.

That’s up from the 49 percent who expressed that view in 2011.

“This increase reflects the continued growth in the share of the population that has no religious affiliation, but it also is the result of changing attitudes among those who do identify with a religion, including white evangelical Protestants,” Pew said.
After answering the poll question and confirming "her" opinion that "she" did not need God to be moral, the transgender "woman" posted lies on Facebook about a political opponent being a neo-Nazi homophobe, before prostituting "herself" to a gay man, and donating a small portion of the proceeds to Planned Parenthood in order to help murder unborn children.

Then "she" went to the Episcopalian "church" to worship "God the Mother".

It must be all those "Judeo-Christian" values of which we hear so much about these days. Who needs God when you've got Judeo Christ? This should end well. In any event, as Christopher Hallpike amply demonstrates, those Americans are wrong.

Come see the violence

Inherent in the insane, shamelessly hypocritical world of SJW comics:
Comics creators really hate criticism. Every time "Diversity and Comics" creator Richard Meyer reviews a comic book he doesn't like, industry professionals lose their minds and wish violence on him. The last time it happened he was threatened by a Marvel professional and told to stay away from Comicon. This time, Image Comics' transgender writer Michelle Perez tweeted that he wishes Meyer had died in an IED attack.

Michelle Perez@rubblewoman
richard c meyer, aka the diversity and comix guy. he did a 30 minute video about a comic book circular that featured an article of mine. hes a multiple divorcee piece of shit. hes a war veteran so of course he's a cryptofascist. unfortunately an IED didnt blow him up

Michelle Perez@rubblewoman
my unvarnished opinion: man it sure sucks that this guy didnt get blown up by an IED

Twitter has not removed the posts for violating community standards.

Meyer is an Afghanistan combat veteran who survived multiple IED attacks and served his country honorably. He has now carved out a popular niche for himself reviewing comic books and has a huge following on YouTube. He has been at the forefront in bringing attention to the far-left ideologues who have taken over the comics industry and he isn't shy about reporting their terrible behavior and penchant for always running to violent ideation any time they are offended....

Bounding Into Comics reported that Erik Larson, Image Comics co-founder and board member, responded to the uproar.

Larsen’s initial reaction was to explain Perez’s wish for Meyer to be killed is part of freedom of speech, "I can’t control what other people say or do anymore than they can control what I say or do. It’s just words, man. Nobody was hurt. That’s the freedom of speech in action. None of us have to like it."

But comics artist and veteran Will Caligan lost his job at Short Fuse Media for expressing his opinion that men can't change their DNA by wishful thinking. His First Amendment rights meant nothing to the mob. His innocuous truth about the impossibility of DNA morphing by the power of wishes took food off his table, but Perez can wish to see a veteran blown up in an IED attack and suddenly #FreeSpeechMatters.

We're not fooled. The double standard for conservative voices in comics is deafening—and #Comicsgate is about to boil over.
It is increasingly evident that the entire "free speech" movement of the so-called Enlightenment was never about anything but getting Christians to relax their blasphemy laws. Obviously that was a tremendous mistake. Again and again, we have seen that tolerating evil merely leads to the rule of intolerant evil.

The sad truth is that Image and the other independents are actually more converged than Marvel and DC. At least the Big Two have to pretend to acknowledge the mass market, even when they make major mistakes like trying to claim this bare-faced Western whore is a Muslim. The indies are free to let their freak flags fly, and they make the average Lovecraft cultist look sane and reserved by comparison.

No worries. Alt★Hero is coming. And speaking of comics, don't forget that Rebel Dead Revenge #2: Satan's Army is now available and the #1 comic in four categories. I'm also pleased to report that our distributor has successfully addressed the technical issue and the first two Arkhaven print editions should be available on Amazon soon. But you don't need to wait if you want to acquire both #1 issues.

The younger religion

There has been a similar debate at Steve Sailer's over the propagandistic term "Judeo-Christian". There were four things in particular that I noted from the comments:

1) The great American intellectual Harold Bloom reached a similar conclusion about the myth of the "Judeo-Christian tradition".

There is no such thing as a Judeo-Christian tradition. That is absolutely ridiculous. And fascinatingly enough there are two things that I’ve said throughout my life when I’ve addressed Jewish audiences, say at the Jewish Theological Seminary or such places, and they always get furious at me. But they’re both true. One is that nowhere in the whole of the Tanakh does it say that a whole people can make themselves holy through study of texts. That’s a purely Platonic idea, and comes out of Plato’s Laws. That simply shows how thoroughly Platonized the rabbis of the second century were. The other one, which I say in this book and it has already given some offense, is that in fact not only is Judaism, which is a product of the second century of the common era—and it’s worked out by people like you know Akiba and his friends and opponents like Ishmael and Tarphon and the others, is a younger religion than Christianity is. Christianity in some form exists in the first century of the common era. What we now call Judaism comes along in the second century of the common era. Christianity is actually the older religion, though it infuriates Jews when you say that to them.

2) Christianity has considerably more in common with Islam than with Judaism. The Muslims regard Jesus Christ as a divinely inspired prophet. The Jews regard him as at best a fraud, and at worst, an evil sorcerer who is in Hell boiling in excrement. The Jews are also awaiting the Antichrist and will worship him. The Muslims are not.

Unlike Islam, Judaism does not accept Jesus as a prophet or as having performed any miracles. The rabbi’s best guess was that Jesus was the illegitimate offspring of a Roman soldier and that Mary made up the “virgin” thing as an excuse. Nowadays they would go on Maury Povich and get a paternity test. They most certainly do not believe that Jesus came back to life after his crucifixion and then flew up to heaven.

3) Oliver Cromwell never allowed the Jews to legally return to England. The celebration of the "informal resettlement" is pure historical revisionism meant to hide the fact that they were illegal infiltrators there for hundreds of years, until 1858. And it was the same sort of evangelical ecumenites as today's churchian cuckservatives who were responsible for the legal emancipation of the Catholics and the Jews. Less than a century later, England found itself enmeshed in global wars, lost its empire, then its sovereignty, and was invaded by third world savages. Sound familiar?

4) This exchange was both informative and hilarious. The amusing thing is the way in which that David Goldberg's semi-autistic fan actually thinks he's being conciliatory rather than infuriating.

As a Jew, I have nothing against Jesus. At best, “Jesus” is a fairy tale creation, akin to Santa or the Easter Bunny. At worst, Jesus was a dangerous cult leader/sorcerer/terrorist, but who cares cause he’s dead. The real issue is political reality. And the fact is, Israel needs evangelical support.
- SpenglerFan

Really? Why is that? Why not use your awe-inspiring 115 IQs to take care of yourselves for once? I’d also like to let you know how much I enjoyed hearing the rationalist, “fairy tale” explanation of Jesus, juxtaposed with the suggestion that he might really have been an evil sorcerer. You don’t get that combination very often.

Celebrate Wakanda

I think it is great that Wakandans resident in the United States have their own anthem. They are clearly a distinct people and they should be encouraged in their national pride. "Next year in Wakanda!"
Several NBA teams have played what is known as the "negro national anthem" at games during Black History Month thanks in part to the urging of a retired Howard University professor.

Eugene Williams, a 76-year-old retiree in Clinton, Maryland, has made it his goal to get professional and collegiate teams to play "Lift Every Voice and Sing" during February. He has been calling and writing teams for the past six months.

The Washington Wizards became the fourth NBA team to play the song at a game, doing so during a timeout midway through the first quarter against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. As the song played, a video was shown with on-court highlights and Wizards players engaging in community activities.

The Oklahoma City Thunder played it in January, Williams said. The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Warriors played "Lift Every Voice and Sing" in February.

Williams attended the Warriors-Wizards game on the last day of Black History Month to hear the song played.

"I had no idea it would amount to all of this," Williams said.

He plans to keep advocating for more NBA teams to play the song during Black History Month. He is also reaching out to universities to include the song during games, having already heard it at Georgetown University games.
However, I think we can all agree that it would be considerably less racist if the various organizations were to change the name of the month-long holiday from Black History Month to Wakandan History Month.

And can you even imagine how beautiful it would be to celebrate Kwanzaa in Wakanda!

It's a start, anyhow

Kurt Schlichter appears to have correctly concluded that more dire warnings will not suffice to deter the Left:
They hate you. And we must act accordingly.

The first step is the political battle. Wake up – the midterms are coming and we need to ensure that these people do not gain the power to undercut our rights. At CPAC, President Trump demonstrated that his competitive nature is in full effect – he intends on winning. We need to do the same. Volunteer. Donate. Activate. Yeah, it’s a hassle. We’d all like a pause to this constant cold warfare. That is not happening.

The second step is the cultural battle. The left is intent on mobilizing the corporations that form the infrastructure of society against us. We need to respond with our own political power, and that means casting off the tired shackles of an ideology that assumes we are in a pure free market scenario. “Free market solutions” don’t apply where companies instead act based on political ideology when choosing to exercise political power; how, exactly, do we respond to a company that acts against us but decides it doesn’t care about the market consequences? Well, we can’t – unless we use our own political power. Georgia refusing to give Delta a tax break – which it should not have gotten in the first place – is the template. If they want to declare a cultural war on us, let’s give them one. It’s not how you or I want it to be, but it is how it is. Maybe pain will motivate them to re-adopt the old rules. Surrender sure won’t.

The third step is to create deterrent facts on the ground. Demonstrate your commitment to your rights by joining the NRA and, further, by buying guns and ammunition. Tyranny is not out of the question – hey, aren’t they always calling Trump Hitler? Tens, even hundreds of millions of armed American Normals provide a deterrent to the kind of insanity we’ve seen the left hinting at. Be prepared to protect the Constitution, and the chances of them getting violent will diminish exponentially. Remember, they don’t want to fight; they prefer we give up under a barrage of hectoring from CNN and vicious tweets about how we hate children.

Yes, it’s ugly. Yes, perhaps it’s even frightening. But it is how it is, with leftists who makes no bones about what they think of you. They hate you. And you need to act accordingly.
It's something. It's a start. But it's still very far from sufficient. If you're still hoping that "pain will motivate them to re-adopt the old rules", then you're still failing to understand and accept the current situation. And sure, it could be somewhat demoralizing to see how many so-called conservatives, and how much of the so-called Right, simply refuses to support the only people willing to stand up and defend America, Christianity, and the West.

But so what? We don't need those cowardly, lukewarm ninnies more concerned about appeasing the enemy than they are about defending their nation, their faith, and their families any more than Gideon needed the mouthdrinkers, George Washington needed the Tories, or Jesus Christ needed the masses he fed with the bread and fish. Alt★Hero has 2,160 backers. After only one video, Voxiversity already has 261. And all our Lord and Savior needed was 12.

We can win. And we will win. All we have to do is find the courage to show up and fight. Support those who openly stand up for the good, the right, and the true. Ignore those who won't, and oppose those who attack them.

Smart Trump, Dumb Trump, Sneaky Trump

Sometimes the God-Emperor can't seem to get out of the way of his own emotions. On the other hand, it is always dangerous to assume that you know which Trump Mode happens to be operative in any given situation.
Yesterday, the President held a bipartisan meeting on school safety and gun control. It was a nightmare. Trump taunted lawmakers by telling them "you're afraid of the NRA." He'll soon find out why politicians are afraid of the NRA during the 2018 elections if he doesn't walk balk some of the insanity he was tossing about in that meeting.

Some of the ridiculous changes to firearm laws Trump seemed amenable to include outlawing private guns sales, raising the age to 21 to buy a long gun, and taking people's guns without due process. Like I said, what a dumpster fire. Not one of those things will stop criminal maniacs from getting a firearm.

Dick's Sporting Goods, which is a crappy, over priced place to buy anything a firearm will not sell "assault-style" weapons. Quick question: what is the difference between an "assault-style" long gun and a long gun that is not "assault-style"? Let me know in the comments. Sadly, Walmart, where I occasionally purchase Federal 12ga 8 shot but will not do so any longer, says it will not sell firearms to consumers who are under the age of 21.

President Trump mentioned in his gun control conclave that he was going to issue an executive order banning bump stocks. And in a mind-blowing move, Trump dismissed Rep. Steve Scalise when he suggested national reciprocity be included in any gun legislation.
Dumpster fire barely begins to describe it. However, as always, I counsel patience when attempting to analyze and understand Donald Trump's words and actions. First, what has actually changed? Nothing. At the very least, wait and see whether this is strategic posturing, tactical maneuver, or simple emoting.

If nothing else, Trump is an astute observer and a fast learner. He's not a complete idiot, and it's hardly going to escape him that all the parties and people who are most implacably opposed to him are literally rubbing their hands over his latest outburst. And possibly Trump's greatest political skill is his ability to a) realize he has made a mistake and b) walk it back without hesitation, regret, or apology.

The other thing to remember is that Trump is neither a savior nor is he Alt-Right. He is absolutely going to get things wrong from time to time. On those occasions, we should oppose him as steadfastly as if he were Hillary Clinton or Judeo Christ himself. But we should do so with the awareness that he can change his mind and the hope that he will do so, and the understanding that he is mistaken rather than the enemy.

The lesson, as always, is never count the God-Emperor out. That's not an expression of loyalty, merely one of experience.

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
Many ideas, some good & some not so good, emerged from our bipartisan meeting on school safety yesterday at the White House. Background Checks a big part of conversation. Gun free zones are proven targets of killers. After many years, a Bill should emerge. Respect 2nd Amendment!

Denying Jesus and America

The relentlessly dishonest Ben Shapiro was quick to publicly deny both Jesus Christ and the Christian heritage of America while taking speedy exception to a rabbi telling Christians the truth about her religion. Shut it down! Unfortunately for the Littlest Chickenhawk, Twitter was well-informed and having none of it. Do not be deceived. Shapiro is a lying, parasitical snake; he is a Fake Right Fake American who has been artificially propped up in the media for nearly two decades in order to lead Christians and conservatives astray.
Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg@TheRaDR
This might be a good time to note that “Judeo-Christian” is not a thing and we Jews would like you to stop conflating our tradition with your American Christianity.

Ben Shapiro@benshapiro
This is nonsense.

Ben Shapiro@benshapiro
Judaism and Christianity are deeply intertwined. American Christianity has generally had a deeper love for the Old Testament than European Christianity. And the vast majority of religious American Christians see the Jews as the root of the tree of Christ.

Ben Shapiro‏@benshapiro
The fact that America is Judeo-Christian and not merely Christian is a reflection of those facts.

Crew@CarborundumCrew
Ben, there is no Judeo-Christ!

Heather Anne@cler_morgaine
Judaism and Christianity are both *Abrahamic* faiths. The term 'judeo-christian' is used to to fake religious pluralism while excluding Islam, which arguably has more in common with both than they do each other.

Dr. Ramone, Esq.@melvinramone
Judaism rejects the core premise of Christianity. You're making up facts.

Cornelius Rye@CorneliusRye2
It's literally not. It's a very recent invention by YOUR PEOPLE. Jews have very little to do with America pre-WWII.

JOHNMEYER@JOHNMEY28401489
You represent Talmudism. Different thing.

#BroniesForTrump@GWSSDelta
White evangelical Christians' rate Jews 69 out of 100, but Jews rate evangelical Christians 34 out of 100. I look forward to the day when Christians wake up from the "Judeo-Christian" "greatest ally" con and realize that Jews hate them.

Emprah'sFinest@SamHydeShooter
Please tell me which of the Founders was a Jew.

Deplorable Unum 🇮🇹@deplorable_unum
Wrong. America predates the 20th Century, when the "Judeo-Christan"  term first appeared. Stop trying to rewrite America history, little Benny.

The Forgotten Man@_ForgottenMan
As many of the presidents of the past have said, "This is a Christian nation." The Judeo-Christian makes no sense, Judaism and Christianity are two very different religions.
And then, of course, there is the absolute, conclusive proof that America was never "Judeo-Christian" in any sense, as the term in its current form didn't even exist prior to WWII.

However, the rabbi is not entirely correct. It isn't so much "American Christianity" that attempts to falsely conflate Christianity and the post-Temple rabbinical talmudism that presently passes for Judaism. It is self-serving diasporans resident in the US like Ben Shapiro who have done so, in a moderately successful post-WWII propaganda campaign fueled by a poem and a play to deceive Americans about their own Christian heritage and the central importance of Christianity to both America and the West.

If you don't get why I bother to make these historical clarifications, if you don't realize the importance of the understanding the truth of this matter for Christians, I encourage you to contemplate the warnings from the Book of Revelation about the deception of the saints. From what nation will the Lawless One come? From what tribe will the False Messiah hail? In what city will he rule? What group of people are most central to the ongoing attempts to legally restrict the ability of badthinkers and thought criminals to make a living, to ensure that no one can buy or sell who does not have their mark of approval? On behalf of what nation have laws been passed to eliminate the right of Americans and others across the West to freely express their opinions about history and trade? What group of people and what religion relentlessly preach the New Babel and oppose nationalism in almost every nation around the world? Precisely how is the world to be "healed" and what would this healed world look like?

Make no mistake about this: Judeo Christ is another name for pseudokhristos and an ecumenical satanism that includes this anti-Christian, ahistorical, explicitly anti-Biblical "Judeochristianity" is his religion. But you need not take my word for the mythical nature of Judeo-Christianity. Even the early neocons were more honest, as Arthur Cohen attested in his 1969 Commentary article entitled "The Myth of the Judeo-Christian tradition".
It is an apparent truism that the concept of the Judeo-Christian tradition has particular currency and significance in the United States. It is not a commonplace in Europe as it is here; rather, Europeans since the war have become habituated to speak of Jewish-Christian amity, to define the foundations and frontiers of community, to describe and, in describing, to put to rest, historic canards and libels. In Europe they are not addicted as we are here to proclaiming a tradition in which distinctions are fudged, diversities reconciled, differences overwhelmed by sloppy and sentimental approaches to falling in love after centuries of misunderstanding and estrangement. I need not speak at length here of the religion of American secularism, that uncritical Jacobinism which is neither fish nor fowl, and certainly neither Christian nor Jewish. Suffice it to say that such secular religiosity is correctly perceived by both communities to be dangerous; it is the common quicksand of Jews and Christians. And it is here that we can identify the myth. Jews and Christians have conspired together to promote a tradition of common experience and common belief, whereas in fact they have joined together to reinforce themselves in the face of a common disaster. Inundated institutions have made common cause before a world that regards them as hopelessly irrelevant, and meaningless. The myth, then, is a projection of the will to endure of both Jews and Christians, an identification of common enemies, an abandonment of millennial antagonisms in the face of threats which do not discriminate between Judaism and Christianity; and these threats, the whole of the Triple Revolution—automation, the population explosion, nuclear warfare—these are the threats which evoke the formation of the myth.

The threats are real and desperate, but patching-over will not, in the long run, help. Patching-over can only deteriorate further what it seeks to protect. The Judeo-Christian tradition is an eschatological myth for the Christian who no longer can deal with actual history and a historical myth for Jews who can no longer deal with the radical negations of eschatology.
Or, alternatively, take the word of Dr. Jacob Klatzkin, the late editor of the Encyclopedia Judaica:
We are not hyphenated Jews; we are Jews with no qualifications or reservations. We are simply aliens; we are a foreign people in your midst, and we emphasize, we wish to stay that way. There is a wide gap between you and us, so wide that no bridge can be laid across it. Your spirit is alien to us; your myths, legends, habits, customs, traditions and national heritage, your religious and national shrines, your Sundays and holidays... They are all alien to us.
And if Marco Rubio, of all people, is selling the "Judea-Christian heritage" concept, that alone should be more than enough to confirm that it is false.
The debate after #Parkland reminds us We The People don’t really like each other very much. We smear those who refuse to agree with us. We claim a Judea-Christian heritage but celebrate arrogance & boasting. & worst of all we have infected the next generation with the same disease
The point is that We are not The People, we are now multiple peoples, multiple nations, and multiple religions, all caught up in conflict over who will wield the imperial power over whom. More importantly, there is no "Judeo-Christianity". There is no "Judeo-Christian tradition" and there are no "Judeo-Christian values". You cannot follow both Jesus Christ and Judeo Christ.

Rebel Dead Revenge #2: Satan's Army

The Devil is raising an army!

To the horror of his loyal servant, Jim, Confederate general Stonewall Jackson has been summoned back from the grave to lead Satan's army of ravenous undead. But the great general's arm is missing, and only Jim knows where it might be. He doesn't know why Satan needs it, but he knows that he has to do everything he can to prevent the Devil from finding it.

The South rises again in REBEL DEAD REVENGE!

Written and illustrated by Savage Sword of Conan and The Punisher artist Gary Kwapisz, Rebel Dead Revenge #2: Satan's Army is 30 pages and $2.99. Available on Kindle and KU, it is the second Dark Legion Comics release but it will not be the only one in March, as we plan to release Chicago Typewriter: The Red Ribbon later this month. Check out the Look Inside on Amazon, it's as intense as its predecessor. And, apparently, as well-received.

#1 in Kindle Store > Comics & Graphic Novels > Historical Fiction
#1 in Kindle Store > Comics & Graphic Novels > Zombies
#1 in Kindle Store > Comics & Graphic Novels > Military

In Arkhaven news, we've had some trouble getting our first two print editions to show up in stock on Amazon due to an internal issue at our distributor that was inadvertently created by our very low retail prices of $2.99. That is in the process of being resolved, but in the meantime, you can order both Right Ho, Jeeves #1 and QUANTUM MORTIS A Man Disrupted #1 from Castalia Books Direct. Note that we do considerably better if you order print editions there than from Amazon, and that the shipping cost is the same from one to five comics. That doesn't matter much when we've only got two in print, but we will have more available soon, starting with Steve Keen's eCONcomics.

And on the Alt★Hero front, backers who are Site Heroes should check their email later today, as Markku and I will be holding an online meeting tonight at 7 PM Eastern with all 68 of them to introduce the Alt★Hero forums. This is an independent site that is hosting discussion forums for all of the comics, including both Arkhaven and Dark Legion series. There are special Backer's Only forums, including one just for the Site Heroes to discuss how the site should be structured and run. Everyone will be able to read the forums, but only approved and registered users will be permitted to post there. The fact that Freestartr had to recently remove the ability to comment on all three campaigns there due to pornographic graffiti being posted by SJWs should suffice to explain why open registration and posting will not be the site policy.

"Mistakenly"

Somehow, I tend to doubt that. Frankly, it surprises me that Google executives aren't bragging about it... but they know their statements would almost surely end up as evidence in more than one lawsuit:
YouTube's New Moderators Mistakenly Pull Right-Wing Channels

YouTube’s new moderators, brought in to spot fake, misleading and extreme videos, stumbled in one of their first major tests, mistakenly removing some clips and channels in the midst of a nationwide debate on gun control.

The Google division said in December it would assign more than 10,000 people to moderate content after a year of scandals over fake and inappropriate content on the world’s largest video site.

In the wake of the Feb. 14 school shooting in Parkland, Florida, some YouTube moderators mistakenly removed several videos and some channels from right-wing, pro-gun video producers and outlets.
So, Sundararajan, my old pal, was this a "mistake" too?

After review, the following video: Immigration and War has been blocked from view on the following YouTube country site(s): Austria, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Czechia, Germany, Estonia, France, United Kingdom, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, Croatia, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Martinique, New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Poland, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Reunion, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, French Southern Territories, Wallis and Futuna, Mayotte

Convergence at the gun store

I'll bet that Dick's Sporting Goods will not remain one of the largest sports retailers for long in light of this utterly bone-headed move by the CEO:
One of the nation’s largest sports retailers, Dick’s Sporting Goods, said Wednesday morning it was immediately ending sales of all assault-style rifles in its stores. The retailer also said that it would no longer sell high-capacity magazines and that it would not sell any gun to anyone under 21 years of age, regardless of local laws.

The announcement, made two weeks after the school shooting in Parkland, Fla., that killed 17 students and staff members, is one of the strongest stances taken by corporate America in the national gun debate. It also carries symbolic weight, coming from a prominent national gunseller.

Late last week, after coming under attack on social media for their ties to the National Rifle Association, a number of major companies, including Hertz car rental, MetLife insurance and Delta Air Lines, publicly ended those relationships, issuing brief, carefully phrased statements.

But Edward Stack, the 63-year-old chief executive of Dick’s whose father founded the store in 1948, is deliberately steering his company directly into the storm, making clear that the company’s new policy was a direct response to the Florida shooting. “When we saw what happened in Parkland, we were so disturbed and upset,” Mr. Stack said in an interview Tuesday evening. “We love these kids and their rallying cry, ‘enough is enough.’ It got to us.”
I look forward to the future articles denying that this decision by the CEO to steer the company "directly into the storm" has anything to do with the totally unanticipated 18-percent decline in annual sales in 2018.

“The whole hunting business is an important part of our business, and we know there is going to be backlash on this,” said Mr. Stack. “But we’re willing to accept that.”

It will be interesting to see how long it takes him to change his tune. Notice how it is almost never the founders of companies who ever do anything this stupid? It's always heirs and infiltrators, which tends to demonstrate that those who do not create businesses may understand how to work the internal machinery and manage the processes established, but they lack an inherent understanding of why and how the business exists in the first place.

Mailvox: the BBC rebuttal

JS observes that the BBC is attempting to completely eradicate the real history of British invasions. At this rate, it won't be long before they're not only denying Bede, but trying to write Caesar's Commentaries out of the historical record as well.

After watching the first Voxiversity episode (well done, btw), by chance I watched a series of BBC documentaries on “Arthurian Britain” which argued the opposite occurred in Britain: that there were no invasions, that the native British gradually accepted the multicultural influences of continental culture with no disruption to daily life and they all lived happily ever after.

King Arthur's Britain  (Roman Britain Documentary)
I say “argued”, in fact the series is a transparent exercise in persuasive rhetoric verging at times on outright propaganda. I have been an amateur student of the period for many years and my own conclusion is that there is not enough available evidence to ever come to any conclusions. The best it can do is inspire fiction.

The well-spoken, avuncular presenter starts with a fully constructed straw-man; that current history insists Britain collapsed into the Dark Ages in 410 AD when the Roman legions left. Overnight, people fled the towns and returned to subsistence farming, forgot how to read and write while woodlands reclaimed the land. He then goes on to “prove” that this didn’t happen and that it was merely the interpretation of Victorian imperialists who saw themselves as Rome reborn and wanted to emphasise the dangers of removing imperial power.

Over the three episodes, various experts deconstruct and reinterpret the scant, available evidence to show that there was no Anglo-Saxon invasion and no population replacement. Genetic evidence showing that the indigenous people were driven west into Wales while continental people settled in the east was dismissed out of hand because one other study showed something different and the presenter himself didn’t believe it.

I’m no rhetorician but even I recognised the fallacious language used throughout e.g. “There is no evidence, but this is what must have happened,’ when it supported his thesis, “There is no evidence so it must be wrong,” when it didn’t as he insisted throughout that he was telling you the “real” story etc.

Bede’s “The Ecclesiastical History of the English People” was dismissed as a complete fiction by a young, female expert who concluded that there were never any Anglo-Saxons in Britain, consequently there never were any English and that Bede made the whole thing up and reinvented history.

The projection was palpable. The fact that they were arguing their central thesis, that everything we believe is wrong because previous generations interpreted the evidence to support their political biases, by overtly manipulating the evidence to support their own political bias seems to sail right over their heads. They state that there never was a pure British race (which the presenter paradoxically argues in support of half the time) and you can guess the final conclusion, can’t you?

“The real people of Britain AD did not only survive an influx of foreign influences but actually flourished because of it.”

Diversity is our strength!

It descends into farce at the end as former socialist politician, Robin Cook explains that Chicken Tikka Masala is the English national dish as it represents the rich, diverse people that the English have always been. Literally saying at one point, “… what makes Britain great, makes Britain strong is not purity, it is our diversity…”

I understand you might not have time to watch the series but I think it could make an interesting “compare and contrast” exercise for the Voxiversity viewership.

The equalitarian future

White people, especially conservatives, absolutely love to claim that they don't see color or race. That's very laudable, I'm sure, and perhaps it is even partially true, but the more relevant point is that everyone who isn't white does. But at least he still has the constitution, right? Well, not so much:
White South African farmers will be removed from their land after a landslide vote in parliament. The country's constitution is now likely to be amended to allow for the confiscation of white-owned land without compensation, following a motion brought by radical Marxist opposition leader Julius Malema.

It passed by 241 votes for to 83 against after a vote on Tuesday, and the policy was a key factor in new president Cyril Ramaphosa's platform after he took over from Jacob Zuma in February.

Mr Malema said the time for 'reconciliation is over'. 'Now is the time for justice,' News24 reported. 'We must ensure that we restore the dignity of our people without compensating the criminals who stole our land.'

Mr Malema has a long-standing commitment to land confiscation without compensation. In 2016 he told his supporters he was 'not calling for the slaughter of white people - at least for now'.

A 2017 South African government audit found white people owned 72 per cent of farmland.

Rural affairs minister for the ruling African National Congress party said 'The ANC unequivocally supports the principle of land expropriation without compensation. There is no doubt about it, land shall be expropriated without compensation.'

Freedom Front Plus party leader Pieter Groenewald said the decision to strip white farmers of their land would cause 'unforeseen consequences that is not in the interest of South Africa'.
That last bit cracked me up. "Unforeseen consequences!" That will show them! Conservatives will be shaking their fingers and issuing dire warnings even as they are being tossed into the cooking pot. They're really not going to like the indigestion that they're going to suffer if they eat you too fast! White Americans think that black South Africans failed to learn the lesson from Rhodesia, when the truth is that it is white Americans who have failed to learn the lesson of both Rhodesia and South Africa.

Maybe they'll starve when the whites are gone and maybe they won't. Either way, there is only one way to find out and that's clearly a risk they are observably more than willing to take.

EXCERPT: The Missionaries

Of all the novels we have published to date, The Missionaries by Owen Stanley is without question one of the best. It is almost disturbingly funny. It's also available in both hardcover and paperback from Castalia Direct.

Laripa was distinguished among the settlements of the Moroks by the presence of the greatest orator, Malek; the greatest sorcerer, Macardit; and the greatest philosopher, Garang, a twisted, hairless little man with a squint. It was thus a kind of Florence or Paris, a cultural centre where the aspiring young intellectuals of the Moroks came to learn the secrets of their fathers, and, more hidden still, the dark revelations of the Before-Men who, led by Tikame himself, had roamed the mountains when Time itself was not.

As befitted its status as the cultural capital of the Moroks, its men’s house was the largest, the best-ornamented, and the most smoke-blackened in all the island. Raised on piles, its rear was low, but the roof-ridge rose into the sky, so that, being more than a hundred feet long, the top of its front end, the formal end, was nearly forty feet above the ground. The boards covering the front of the house were brilliantly painted in the form of a great face, whose mouth was also the entrance. The teeth of this mouth were provided by two rows of bleached skulls, as the boiling and preparation of skulls was one of the arts for which Laripa was celebrated.

Below the men’s house, the hovels of the women formed two parallel lines for a couple of hundred yards down the crest of the spur. At the end of these two lines, a second, smaller, men’s house faced up the yard between the huts of the women, looking directly at the great face of the principal men’s house. The yard was steep and slippery, of shiny red clay, and all around the village ran a high stockade of timbers, whose tops were carved into replicas of simian faces, or barbed to resemble spear points, or hacked and pruned into stranger, even more lethal shapes, curved and twisted like instruments of torture.

The interior of the great men’s house was lit only by those rays that penetrated the narrow entrance, and its natural obscurity was rendered the more impenetrable by the smoke which filled it, rising from the smouldering logs on the hearth of ashes running the entire length of the building. Inside the entrance, in the ashes, smoking his bamboo pipe, sat Nyikang, once the most renowned of the Laripa warriors, now little more than an old bag of bones looking out over his beloved mountains, waiting to die.

Smoking was the last of this world’s pleasures left to him; the government had stopped most of the axe murders at which he had been so proficient, and he had never been much good at sorcery. He’d always muddled the spells at the critical moment. Sex, well, that had been fun, and at least the government hadn’t stopped that yet, but it was a long time since he had felt up to it. The last time, that had been a long time ago, when the great landslide swept away some of his pandanus trees, but all he got for his trouble was a splitting headache, and he had given it up as a bad job ever since. Not that he was missing much as far as Teopo, his last surviving wife, was concerned. She was almost as decrepit as him and never bothered to wash anymore; she was usually covered in dust, like an old gourd abandoned in the corner of a hut.

It was ages, too, since he had led the killing of the pigs at a great dance. His teeth had mostly gone now, and he couldn’t even chew a pig, let alone kill one. Soon he would be a spirit, roaming the forests of the high ranges with his ancestors, without fire, or food, or hope. He still clung to life, not out of love of this world, or fear of that to come, but from habit.

His attention wandered back to Macardit and Malek, who were sitting outside on the verandah, talking.

“A bat’s wing without fresh dog’s blood will blight naught,” said Macardit. “Some say that a frog’s head, crushed with ginger root, giveth more power than the blood of any creature, but that is folly.”

Malek nodded wisely.

“Dog’s blood, thou sayest. I will mind it well.” His fourth and most recent wife had been seduced by his cousin, so he had come to Macardit for a little private tuition in sorcery. The receipt for smiting an enemy’s genitals with gonorrhea cost only a small pig; a larger one, of course, was required if the Master himself recited the spells. Since this enemy was a cousin, the handier and cheaper remedy of the axe was denied him, but a good dose of the clap would suffice to put the fellow in his place.

“Fresh blood, fresh blood,” reiterated Macardit. “If thou but usest fresh blood, the bat’s wing, and the words of power which I have given thee, and well besmear his codpiece with the remedy, there will be one pig that will not root in thy garden for a while.” Macardit drew on his bamboo pipe, but found that in the long interval of conversation it had died.

More popular than Obama

Strange, I don't recall the media going on and on and on about how unpopular Obama was... even though he was much less popular than the God-Emperor:
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.... By comparison, President Obama earned 43% approval on this date in the second year of his presidency.
The Trumpslide cometh. And he's in it to win it in 2020!

A random idea

What would you ask Jesus? I was thinking about this the other day. Actually, I was thinking about what I would ask Aristotle if I could. What is the single most pressing question to which I would like to know the answer? And then I wondered what other people would do... and I realized that while there weren't very many people with questions for Aristotle, there were probably an awful lot who would have questions for Jesus. And that made me think about what a singularly fascinating book that might make.

Anyhow, if you're interested, send me no more than 500 words about the one single question that you would ask Jesus Christ if you had the chance. All I want to know is your age, your sex, and your religion or lack thereof. Please also explicitly grant me permission to include your question in the book in your email.

Attachments should be .rtf, .docx, or .odt. Single-spaced, no tabs, no formatting, and no more than 500 words. If I get at least 100 questions and they prove to be sufficiently varied and interesting, I'll edit them and put them together. I'll also contact a few well-known individuals and ask them to contribute a question.

Can be, and will be

Democratic pollsters are beginning to wake up to the probability that the 2020 Trumpslide is coming:
To many political observers over the past year, the prospect of President Donald Trump’s reelection looked doubtful at best. Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon reportedly gave Trump a 30 percent chance of finishing his term. Mike Murphy, the longtime GOP consultant and NeverTrumper, said that Trump will only be president “until early 2019.” And JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, like many others, bet more modestly: that Trump would be the first one-term president since George H. W. Bush.

These predictions were understandable. In 2017, it seemed, every day brought another Trump scandal, a bombshell in the Russia story, a brawl in the White House, or a diplomatic crisis, which explains why Trump’s approval rating last year was a historic low for a president’s first year in office. By year’s end, Democrats were anticipating a sweeping victory in this year’s midterm elections, with the opportunity to take back the House and perhaps even the Senate, and an enormous field of candidates was unofficially lining up for the party’s 2020 primary.

But recent data should trouble them. Internal polling by the Democratic group Priorities USA showed the president’s approval rating had climbed to 44 percent in early February, which “mirrors Trump’s improving position in public polls.” Gallup finds a narrow majority of Americans support his handling of the economy, and the new Republican tax law is getting more popular.

“I think people just kind of assume he’s a goner,” FiveThirtyEight statistician Nate Silver told me recently, “but look, he’s now more in a range where presidents have recovered to win reelection. His approval rating is up to 41 or 42 percent in our tracking. That verges on being a normal number that resembles what happened to Reagan or Clinton or Obama in their second years.” (Silver noted over the weekend that Trump dipped to 39 percent in their tracking.) As Jim Messina, who managed President Barack Obama’s reelection campaign in 2012, warned earlier this month, “Donald Trump can absolutely be reelected.”
The God-Emperor isn't merely going to win, he's going to absolutely trounce the Democratic candidate so badly that I expect the top potential challengers to decided to steer clear before the primaries start and leave this one to the elderly whites to lose. An independent challenge from some Never-Trump no-hoper is probable, as well as a white female sacrificial lamb from the Democrats. Neither one will likely provide much of a speed bump to the Trump Re-election Train.

Trump isn't just a good president. He is very likely going to be a great president, if he has the courage to ignore the press and ignore his talentless, ignorant advisors who keep trying to sabotage and control him. Build the Wall, Drain the Swamp, and Break the Pedo State. Nothing else really matters.

She had to go back

And she is glad she did. To paraphrase the Israeli who sent me this link, her grandfather should resign from the U.S. Senate and follow suit:
Nesya Lieberman, the granddaughter of former United States Senator Joe Lieberman, made Aliyah today from Atlanta, Georgia through Nefesh B’Nefesh, in cooperation with the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency of Israel, Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael and JNF-USA. The 20-year-old will be attending Ulpan at Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu upon her arrival to improve her Hebrew skills in preparation of beginning a year volunteering for National Service.

She grew up attending Jewish day schools, and has spent a significant amount of time regularly visiting the country with her family as well as participating in various touring and learning programs in Israel.

Nesya has been planning to move to Israel for some time, as she feels a responsibility to live in Israel and strengthen the country through her Aliyah.
In case it still isn't obvious to you that individuals such as Joe Lieberman are not, and never were, Americans, the actions of his granddaughter should suffice to prove the point once and for all. Lieberman and company are just passing through, and regardless of whatever propaganda they have successfully sold to the American people over time, they have known that all along.

“Jews have been praying for a return to Israel for millennia, and I'm fortunate enough to live in a time when such a return is possible. Why would I live anywhere else? Israel is my home....
- Nesya Lieberman

Joe Lieberman's grandparents immigrated to the United States. His grandaughter emigrated. That is only three generations that were even fully resident in the USA! Giving a nomadic people any voice in government isn't merely a potentially fatal mistake, it is objectively and observably insane! Doing so is absolutely guaranteed to lead to conflict and the adoption of policies that are not in the interest of the nation, as we have repeatedly witnessed throughout 19th, 20th, and 21st century American history.

This is why immigrants should not be permitted to vote for the subsequent three generations and should not be permitted to hold government office until the sixth generation that is fully resident there. Immigrants and their descendants don't have "dual loyalties". They don't have any loyalty to the nation through which they are passing at all. They may well have affection for it. They may well have great respect for it. They may well be grateful to it and wish it well.

But whether they do or not, they are not members of it. They don't identify with it. They cannot, by the Aristotelian principle of non-contradiction. If Nesya Lieberman is a member of the Jewish nation, and there is no reason to deny that, then neither she nor any of her forebears were ever members of the American nation.

A man cannot serve two masters.

The nations rise

The defiant song of the Russian national hockey team is a brave symbol for nationalists around the world:
In a surprise overtime victory in the finals of the Olympic men’s hockey tournament, the Russians defeated Germany, 4-3.

But the Russians were not permitted to have their national anthem played or flag raised, due to a past doping scandal. So, the team ignored the prohibition and sang out the Russian national anthem over the sounds of the Olympic anthem.

One recalls the scene in “Casablanca,” where French patrons of Rick’s saloon stood and loudly sang the “La Marseillaise” to drown out the “Die Wacht am Rhein” being sung by a table of German officers.

When the combined North-South Korean Olympic team entered the stadium, Vice President Mike Pence remained seated and silent. But tens of thousands of Koreans stood and cheered the unified team.

America may provide a defensive shield for the South, but Koreans on both sides of the DMZ see themselves as one people. And, no fool, Kim Jong Un is exploiting the deep tribal ties he knows are there.

Watching the Russians defiantly belt out their anthem, one recalls also the 1968 summer Olympics in Mexico City where sprinters Tommie Smith and John Carlos stood on the podium, black gloved fists thrust skyward in a Black Power salute, asserting their separate racial identity

Western elites may deplore the return of nationalism. But they had best not dismiss it, for assertions of national and tribal identity appear to be what the future is going to be all about.
The shallow, saccharine falsity and Orwellian emotional manipulation of the Olympics is symbolic of the shiny, secular, and satanic New Babel that the globalists are attempting to construct. But just as the Russian hockey players drowned out the Olympic anthem, the nations of the world will defeat the latest attempt to chain them, control them, and rule over them.

God does not will the rule of the New Babel. We know this. He created the nations and He will inspire and defend them. He has even vowed the preservation of one specific nation. So, to deny and oppose nationalism is to deny and oppose God Himself.

Government cannot, and WILL NOT, protect you

Glenn Reynolds points this out in USA Today:
The chief problem facing America today is the decline of its institutions, coupled with the denial of that decline by the people in charge of its institutions. The latest example of this problem is the Parkland school shooting in Florida. From the FBI, to local law enforcement, to the schools, everyone failed. There was failure early, there was failure in the middle, and there was failure late. And no one has taken responsibility.
I would put 130 million alien settlers first, but to be sure, the decline of American institutions is certainly high up there on the list of problems.

Government must always be regarded suspiciously, even when it is doing nothing more nefarious than declaring that the sky is blue or the temperature is warm. Distrust and verify must always be our watchwords.

Max Boot molts again

Fake (((conservative))) now wants to pass himself off as a fake (((classical liberal))) because Trump.
In the past I would have been indignant at such attacks and eager to assert my conservative credentials. I spent years writing for conservative publications such as the Wall Street Journal editorial page and Commentary magazine and working as a foreign policy adviser for three Republican presidential campaigns. Being conservative used to be central to my identity. But now, frankly, I don’t give a damn. I prefer to think of myself as a classical liberal, because “conservative” has become practically synonymous with “Trump lackey.”
Like Richard Spencer, Max Boot is Fake Right. Boot was never a conservative in any sense whatsoever, not even in the Jewish religious sense. He is not even close to anything resembling a "classical liberal" either. What sort of "conservative" writes for the Washington Post?  These wormtongues speak as if words have literally no intrinsic meaning.

Remember, the neocons were communists who only turned against the Soviet Union in the 1960s when it became apparent that the USA would remain the dominant military power. From Infogalactic: The term "neoconservative" refers to those who made the ideological journey from the anti-Stalinist left to the camp of American conservatism. The movement had its intellectual roots in the Jewish monthly review magazine Commentary, published by the American Jewish Committee.

That ideological journey was always a sham. These (((fill-in-the-blanks))) are parasitical snakes, shedding their ideological skins in order to maximize their political influence while always advocating globalism, war, and Israel no matter what they happen to call themselves at the moment. The (((Ben Shapiros))) and (((Mona Charens))) and (((Max Boots))) are nothing but interest-group infiltrators and media operatives. There is no truth in them, and they are finally being revealed for the enemies of America, Christianity, and the West that they have always been.

Speaking of parasitical snakes, look at how The Spectator tries to put Ben Shapiro in the "fearless freethinker" category with Camille Paglia and Jordan Peterson. Notice how they featured him in the primary photo, even though he is almost the precise opposite of the philosophical, truth-seeking Peterson.
Consider Ben Shapiro. The conservative pundit has become known over the past decade for his whippet-fast intellect and fearless debating style. College campuses began to see protests whenever this young conservative speaker was promised to appear. Far-leftist students repeatedly denounced the 34-year-old kippah-wearing Orthodox Jew as a racist and otherwise tried to silence him. Campuses promised students extra counselling to cope after hearing his arguments.

And last September, after earlier riots on campus, the University of Berkeley shelled out $600,000 to make the campus secure for his talk there. Again the audience tuned in for the scandal and stayed to hear his smart, funny and thoughtful opinions. Today he has more than a million Twitter followers and makes news whenever he speaks.
The bit about his "fearless debating style" is particularly amusing considering how he has repeatedly run from debate with both Milo and myself. And the Littlest Chickenhawk isn't part of "the intellectual dark web" at all. He has been nationally syndicated in the mainstream media for nearly two decades! To the contrary, he is part of the Fake Right along with Max Boot, Mona Charon, David Frum, Jon Podhoretz, Bill Kristol, Cathy Young, and the rest of the Never-Trump (((conservatives))). The media loves to anoint these fake "opinion leaders" in order to divert public attention away from the actual freethinkers, which is why they ignored Jordan Peterson until it was no longer possible to do so.

The Parkland narrative unravels further

In addition to the one four Broward County deputies who were sitting on their hands rather than intervene in the recent school shooting, eyewitness reports are increasingly disproving every aspect of the Official Story. Why, for example, was the son of a police officer wearing a bulletproof vest during the attack?
In the classroom where Mackenzie Hill had been hiding, police broke through the door. As the officers were guiding students out, they noticed something odd: One of the students had put on a bulletproof vest. The student said he'd been given the vest by his father, a police officer. Even in the safest city in Florida, he'd brought it to school with him, just in case.
Just in case. Right. Occam's Razor dictates that the father knew something was happening that day, and had his suspicions that the scheduled "drill" was there to cover something more ominous. Such as the attack by the real shooter, who was probably the reason that the Broward County deputies were ordered to stand down.
Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School teacher Stacy Lippel was grazed by a hot bullet which left the chamber of the shooter’s gun as she closed the door to her classroom after letting a number of students file into what would presumably be safety. However, nothing could have prepared the teacher for what she was to witness next.

“I suddenly saw the shooter about twenty feet in front of me standing at the end of the hallway actively shooting down the hallway, just a barrage of bullets, and I’m staring at him thinking why are the police here, this is strange because he’s in full metal garb, helmet, face mask, bulletproof armor, shooting this rifle that I’ve never seen before,” Lippel told Good Morning America last Wednesday.

The brave teacher said she told fellow Stoneman Douglas H.S. teacher Scott Beigel, 35, to get back in his room just before the shooter fired a number of rounds into his room killing him and other students.

At this point, it wouldn't surprise me to learn that Cruz's AR-15 was never even fired. And frankly, this false flag appears to have been so ineptly staged that it also wouldn't be a surprise to be informed that the ballistics eventually prove the rounds that were fired at the school were neither .223 Remington nor 5.56×45mm NATO. Which may be the reason why the school is being demolished.

Gun experts, what rifle or carbine that is standard issue for the Florida police fires .223 Remington or 5.56x45mm cartridges? I mean, one would naturally assume that whoever staged the false flag would be competent enough to use ammunition that is AR-15 compatible, but then, as Q informs us, these people are stupid.

EXCERPT: Innocence & Intellect, 2001-2005

Githyankee was kind enough to say the following about my early columns: I wish everyone could read Vox's columns from about 2005. The second book of essays. That's what really let me know I was dealing with an intellect. Vox was calling out feminists and muslims as allies before Obama was President, ten years before Conservative Inc even noticed. Those columns hold up extremely well - if you've been on the fence, each essay is about a five minute read and contains the perfect mix of military news, sports comments, leftist lunacy, conservative bumbling. Really good.

WL added: Those are really extraordinary. It's very interesting discovering how any intellectual figure develops his thought over time, especially when it's derived from logic and history, which is a rarity at this phase of our decline. Wish I had known about them when they were new.
There are a hundred different points you can make about those early essays, but I'll save that for my own blog in the future. Really, the intellectual development of this sector of the counter-culture is more impressive than anything being done in academia, at least in the humanities.

That's very flattering, and more importantly, it reminded me that I've been remiss in actually making some of them available to prospective readers. The first volume of my Collected Columns was previously not available directly on Amazon, or through Kindle Unlimited, due to our experiment with the ill-fated Pronoun service offered by Macmillan. Having rectified that today, I can report that both Vol. I: Innocence and Intellect, 2001-2005 and Vol. II: Crisis & Conceit, 2006-2009, are available for Kindle and KU. The first volume is also available as a 764-page hardcover, on Amazon as well as via Castalia Books Direct.

An excerpt from June 2, 2003:

In which we examine a few of feminism’s favorite fairy tales.

Feminism is about choice.

Feminism is actually about having your choices made for you. Feminism is nothing more than a gender-based form of fascism, which attempts to control the behavior of individuals through government fiat. Fortunately, feminists have not been able to amass the power required to send unrepentant males and recalcitrant gender-traitors to the pink gulag. In the words of feminist icon Simone de Beauvoir:

No woman should be authorized to stay at home to raise her children. Society should be totally different. Women should not have that choice, precisely because if there is such choice, too many women will make that one.

The reason that women have accomplished very little of note throughout history is primarily due to male oppression.

There is an element of truth to this, as the vast majority of women were denied access to the higher levels of education; then again, so were most men. However, it is also true that those women who did obtain excellent educations often chose to engage in light intellectual amusements instead of contributing anything of significance to the arts or sciences. There was nothing to stop the educated hetaerae of Greece from writing a “Metaphysics” or a “Republic”, nor anything preventing the mistresses of the famed Parisian salons from compiling, like Diderot, their own “Encyclopedia”; the fact remains they did not.

But the most damning argument against this myth is the appalling behavior of the leading female pseudo-intellectuals over the past 30 years. Instead of taking advantage of their intellectual freedom and unprecedented access to education, the feminist vanguard has embraced an anti-intellectual dogmatism that imprisons the current generation of young women in the academic convent of Women’s Studies, robbing them of both foundational knowledge and the capacity for rational linear thought, thus ensuring that this generation, like its foremothers, will also fail to accomplish anything worthy of historical regard.

Women entering the work force has been good for America.

The entry of women into the work force accomplished only one thing. It significantly lowered wages by doubling the size of the work force. According to the iron law of supply and demand, increasing the supply of X while demand remains constant means that the price of X will fall. The primary impact of women entering the work force in quantity has been to lower the price of labor so that two people must now work in order to maintain a household instead of one, as before.

While America does realize the benefit of the contributions of women whose talents might have otherwise been wasted, it pays a heavy price in terms of children who are abandoned to be raised by day-care centers, the state schools and television. And those many women who would like to make the choice to remain home with their children cannot, since their husband can’t earn enough money to support a family alone due to his wages having been lowered because of the increased supply of labor.

Anything men can do, women can do better.

This myth raises the question of how the nefarious Patriarchy could possibly have come to be established in the first place. Were the women of yore less intelligent, less aware, or otherwise less able than their modern counterparts? A lovely example of nonlinear fifth-stage thinking.

The Sexual Revolution liberated women.

It actually freed men from the responsibilities that traditionally accompanied access to sex. Whereas a man once needed to all but promise marriage before taking a lover, he now can freely expect a woman to satisfy his desires on the third date, if not the first. The real revolution was the wholesale transference of power in the male-female dynamic from women to men, and now any reasonably handsome young man can effortlessly rack up more sexual conquests in four years of college than did the legendary Casanova in a lifetime.

A woman has a right to control her own body.

This baseless assumption flies in the face of hundreds of long-standing American laws. A woman can be jailed for putting certain unapproved chemicals into her body, for failing to put certain required chemicals in her body (military vaccinations), for selling portions of her body or renting out her body on an hourly basis, or for displaying her body in public in an unapproved manner. The fact that some of these laws are, in my opinion, ill-founded, does not matter; they still serve to demonstrate the fallacy of this particular pro-abortion gynomyth.

Why the deputies stood down

Anonymous Conservative believes they were ordered to do so:
A report released Friday claims four of Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel’s deputies waited outside Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School while the attack was occurring.

On February 22 Breitbart News reported that one deputy resigned after it was learned that he was on scene but failed to control Nikolas Cruz. Sheriff Israel told ABC 13 that video shows the deputy, Scott Peterson, “arrive at the west side of Building 12” and “take a position” outside the school — but never go inside. The sheriff’s office moved to suspend Peterson, who resigned before the suspension could take place.

Now CNN reports that the Coral Springs police officers claim three other Broward County deputies were outside the school but failed to go inside as well. They quote “Coral Springs sources” who said the three “deputies had their pistols drawn and were behind their vehicles” when Coral Springs officers arrived. They said “not one of [the deputies] had gone into the school.”

The sources indicate other Broward County deputies arrived on scene, and two of those new arrivals joined with Coral Springs officers and entered the building.

Here is what happened. When this was organized, Deep State arranged for their deputies to be on duty in that sector, and they had orders to stand down.
While only the acting man can definitively explain the reason for his actions, Occam's Razor suggests that in this particular situation, AC's explanation is the one that is most likely to be correct. If the three other Broward County deputies fail to resign, or even be identified, that will tend to support his belief that they were simply following their orders.

The Broward County (((Sheriff))) confirms as much. He has taken the public position that he not only did his job, but did it very well indeed by providing "amazing leadership".
"I've exercised my due diligence, I've led this county proudly as I always have," he said. "We have restricted that deputy as we look in to it. You know, deputies make mistakes, police officers make mistakes, we all make mistakes, but it's not the responsibility of the general or the president, if you have a deserter. You look into this. We're looking into this aggressively, and we'll take care of it and justice will be served."

"Are you really not taking any responsibility for the multiple red flags that were brought to the attention of the Broward Sheriff's Office about this shooter before the incident?" Tapper asked.

"Jake, I can only take responsibility for what I knew about. I exercised my due diligence. I've given amazing leadership to this agency—" Israel started.

"Amazing leadership? Tapper asked incredulously.

"Yes, Jake. There's a lot of things we've done throughout this—this is—you don't measure a person's leadership by a deputy not going into these deputies received the training they needed—One person didn't do what he should have done," Israel said.
That confirms that one of the four deputies didn't do what he should have done, but the other three did. Ergo, they were ordered by the Sheriff to stand down and not interfere with whoever was doing the shooting at the school.
