Darkstream: the Mandela Effect

It is fascinating to see how many people find it less improbable to posit that most people have faulty memories than believe the possibility that an influential organization might be running a large-scale experiment on the limits of historical revisionism. In tonight's Darkstream, I discuss five possible explanations for the dichotomy between human memory and the current physical evidence with regards to a series of children's books.

But the diverse reactions to the Mandela Effect tends to underline the wisdom of Jesus Christ's explaination for why God seldom sees fit to show Himself to people. Very, very few people are capable of even entertaining the possibility of anything that violates the narrative they currently accept, let alone believing it, on the mere testimony of others. And any mind with sufficient knowledge of the human heart would know that.

"A nation of immigrants"

How strange it is that no one noticed the USA was "a nation of immigrants" for more nearly 200 years, until Immanuel Cellar was actively pushing for what eventually became the nation-destroying 1965 Naturalization Act.

And now, remarkably, we are informed that both Britain and Sweden are "nations of immigrants" as well.

Wardogs Inc. in audio

All war is murder for profit. Some people are just more open about it.

Wardogs Incorporated is one of the largest and most professional mercenary corporations operating in the Kantillon subsector. If you need a bodyguard, an assassination team, or an armored cavalry regiment complete with air support, Wardogs Inc. can provide it for you...for a very steep price.

Tommy Falkland is proud to be a Wardog. And he's delighted when WDI's executives sign a massive contract to arrange for a little regime change on a no-account low-tech planet that looks like a highly profitable cakewalk. But when the transportation company unexpectedly fails to deliver their armor and artillery dirtside, Tommy and his fellow Wardogs find themselves caught in the middle of the killing zone.

There, they learn that bullets will kill a man dead just as quickly as a plasma bolt.

Battlesuit Bastards is the first in the Wardogs Inc. series of military science-fiction novels.

We submitted this exclusively to Audible before creating the Arkhaven store, so you'll have to acquire it there. However, all new audiobooks recorded will be available from both retail channels. Quantum Mortis fans should keep in mind that Wardogs Inc. is set in the QM universe.

Addressing ethno-nationalism

Owen Benjamin is getting increasingly fed up with globalist critics who are attempting to discredit me and other nationalists with spurious charges of hate, racism, and other supposed evils:
Here's the thing that Indians know that a lot of whites don't: how the whites destroyed their nations. The way the liberals paint the picture is not reality. It's not like: "the white people came in, they destroyed everyone and raped and killed everyone, and everyone had smallpox from blankets!"

No. What they did, they took their gods, they took their languages, they outbred them, they took everything that made them a nation. And now, as when someone recently said to me, "well, Vox doesn't even look like an American Indian." He's a member of a tribe! That's my whole point!

Those dudes get it. So when they say ethno-nationalist, they're not saying "kick out black people." Black people built America with white people and all kinds of people. It's this new flood that is breeding out our nation. People that think there is Magic Dirt, that if you come to America, welcome, it's great, it is the land of immigration and diversity is our strength, no! There is no Magic Dirt. Do you know who else believed in Magic Dirt? Adolf Hitler!

When Adolf Hitler invaded Russia with Barbarossa, they were such mystic, occult weirdos - that's one of the reasons I hate associating with Nazis at all, although Ben Shapiro annoys me endlessly, I try not to attack him TOO much because I don't want Nazis to think I'm one of their guys because they were all occult weirdos - they would ship dirt from Russia back to Germany because they thought there was something magical about the dirt. There's nothing magical about the dirt!

A nation is its people. Its blood, its traditions, its heritage, all that stuff. That's all 100 percent true. And I'm starting to get a little offended. I don't get offended very easily, but people implying that I am motivated in any way by hate or racial purity. My grandmother is Jewish, I'm married to a woman whose father was a brown Mexican, one of my best friends and opener, Eric Nimmer, is black, and none of that was my plan. I wanted to keep it in the family. Obviously, I found love with a half-Prairie N-word, Nimmer's the funniest, most loyal guy I know, and my grandmother happened to have sex with my grandfather.

But people that are trying to imply that me, or Vox, or one of these people are motivated by racial hate... it's starting to get offensive. My son is one-quarter Hispanic? Do you think I hate my son? I'll put you in the dirt! I'll dig a hole, a deep hole, not a shallow one where people will find you, and I'll kill you and put you in the hole if you keep talking that shit.

All Vox's point is, and all American Indians get it, because that's how they were destroyed by us palefaces. They bred them out of existence so you don't even know what an American Indian looks like half the time, and they took their gods, they gave them alcohol, sugar, welfare, put them in a little area and said, "good luck".

Does that sound familiar? They're currently doing it to white Americans! Take these pills, watch this shit, watch this porn, take this free shit, have no God, have no tradition, have no family unit, broken, broken, broken.
My response is a little more etymological. All genuine nationalism is ethno-nationalism. Just look up the root of the word "natus". Also, "white" is not a nation. Neither is "black" or "red" or even "Arab". No attempt at transnational empires have ever survived, from Nasser to the European Union.

Civic nationalism is fake nationalism. It substitutes the state for the nation; it is literally a statist construction in the same way that Gross Domestic Product was substituted for Gross National Product in the 1990s. It's all a form of globalism, and they're now using the same "Sweden is a nation of immigrants" and "Britain is a nation of immigrants" rhetoric that they first introduced in the USA in order to adulterate it. But if all nations are just immigrants, there are no nations, and we know from the Bible precisely who it is that is seeking to destroy the nations.

And we also know that he will fail.

Speaking of etymology, I found one Vietnamese nickname for the USA to be of interest:
One of the Vietnamese names for the United States is Hiệp Chủng Quốc, Nation of Many Race
Or in other words, nation that is not a nation.

Darkstream: advice for the future opinion leader

From the transcript of last night's Darkstream:

Advice for someone in their early 20s who wants to throw their hat in the ring but understands every wise person who says it's unwise to trust the mind of a young man. Well, I think that what you should do is you should seek to learn, and to understand the world doesn't need your opinions. It is very, very unlikely that any view you are going to express is going to be an original opinion. I'm not discouraging you from sharing your opinion or expressing yourself, I just think that it's always very important to understand that, and the more that you read, and the more that you familiarize yourself with the great thinkers of the past, the more you're going to understand how many times very, very capable individuals have wrestled with the same questions that you're wrestling with. If you're a good thinker, if you're a high-caliber thinker, you're going to find that even the most original thoughts that you have were successfully anticipated by people 2,000 years ago, 1,500 years ago, whatever, and that's why it's so important to read.

Of all the various humilities, I think temporal humility is perhaps the most important and least common. Are we not told there is nothing new under the sun? A reminder to all Darkstream viewers: be sure to subscribe to stream.me/voxday as a backup to the YouTube channel.

AH:Q Indiegogo update

The action is now underway. Opt-out backers who have not yet sent their information to litle32000 AT yahoo DOT com should do so today, as more than 100 backers will be submitting their class-action claim very soon. If you responded originally but did not hear back, be sure to check your spam/junk folder.

If you don't know if you opted out or not, then you didn't. That's not a problem, but since you waived your class-action rights as part of the Terms of Use, you'll have to enter your own claim on an independent basis. Doing so will cost $250, but the request for arbitration can be submitted anytime and we will explain the process after the holidays in the new year.

And, of course, if you wish to take part by backing the Alt-Hero: Q campaign, you can still do so for nine more days.

God no longer blesses America

When God leaves a nation to its well-merited fate, evil rushes to fill the vacuum:
Witchcraft is thriving in the US, with an estimated 1.5 million Americans now identifying as witches - more than the total number of Presbyterians. As Christianity declines across the country, paganism has swung to the mainstream, with witchcraft paraphernalia for sale on every high street and practises normalised across popular culture. In the past two years, it has also become darkly politicised.

Dakota Bracciale, a 29-year-old transgender/queer witch and co-owner of Catland Books and witch shop in Brooklyn, is pleased with the outcome of the ritual hex placed on US Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in October. The curse, carried out from Catland Books, was well attended by witches, atheists ad humanists - and was followed around the country on social media.

Millennials, says Bracciale, are looking for spiritualism outside traditional religion. “The hex centres on the notion that we live in a universe of chaos, entropy, destruction, death, decay with a final ending of oblivion - scientists are telling us. So the witch does everything for themselves - there is no other help in this universe of decay and chaos. If you don’t get in the driver’s seat things will just get worse,” the witch said.
I used to wonder how the Israelites could see such wonders and then turn around and whore after golden calves and false gods. Having witnessed the decline of America from its bicentennial celebration to its current state, I don't wonder about it anymore.

Either Americans will repent and restore their nation or America will be destroyed.

For Jerusalem has stumbled and Judah has fallen because they spoke and acted against the LORD, defying His glorious presence. The expression on their faces testifies against them, and like Sodom they flaunt their sin; they do not conceal it; woe to them, for they have brought disaster upon themselves.

Tell the righteous it will be well for them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their labor. Woe to the wicked; disaster is upon them! For they will be repaid with what their hands have done.Youths oppress My people, and women rule over them.

O My people, your guides mislead you; they turn you from your paths.

The Mad Poodle resigns

To call General Mattis's appallingly ineffective performance as Secretary of Defense a disappointment would be a SEVERE understatement. It's a reminder that no amount of tactical or operational effectiveness means very much when it comes to grand strategy and geopolitical politics, let alone loyalty to American national interests. His letter of resignation:
December 20, 2018

Dear Mr. President:

I have been privileged to serve as our country'ss 26th Secretary of Defense which has allowed me to serve alongside our men and women of the Department in defense of our citizens and our ideals.

I am proud of the progress that has been made over the past two years on some of the key goals articulated in our National Defense Strategy: putting the Department on a more sound budgetary footing, improving readiness and lethality in our forces, and reforming the Department's business practices for greater performance. Our troops continue to provide the capabilities needed to prevail in conflict and sustain strong U.S. global influence.

One core belief I have always held is that our strength as a nation is inextricably linked to the strength of our unique and comprehensive system of alliances and partnerships. While the US remains the indispensable nation in the free world, we cannot protect our interests or serve that role effectively without maintaining strong alliances and showing respect to those allies. Like you, I have said from the beginning that the armed forces of the United States should not be the policeman of the world. Instead, we must use all tools of American power to provide for the common defense, including providing effective leadership to our alliances. 29 democracies demonstrated that strength in their commitment to fighting alongside us following the 9-11 attack on America. The Defeat ISIS coalition of 74 nations is further proof.

Similarly, I believe we must be resolute and unambiguous in our approach to those countries whose strategic interests are increasingly in tension with ours. It is clear that China and Russia, for example, want to shape a world consistent with their authoritarian model gaining veto authority over other nations' economic, diplomatic, and security decisions to promote their own interests at the expense of their neighbors, America and our allies. That is why we must use all the tools of American power to provide for the common defense.

My views on treating allies with respect and also being clear-eyed about both malign actors and strategic competitors are strongly held and informed by over four decades of immersion in these issues. We must do everything possible to advance an international order that is most conducive to our security, prosperity and values, and we are strengthened in this effort by the solidarity of our alliances.

Because you have the right to have a Secretary of Defense whose views are better aligned with yours on these and other subjects, I believe it is right for me to step down from my position. The end date for my tenure is February 28, 2019, a date that should allow sufficient time for a successor to be nominated and confirmed as well as to make sure the Department's interests are properly articulated and protected at upcoming events to include Congressional posture hearings and the NATO Defense Ministerial meeting in February. Further, that a full transition to a new Secretary of Defense occurs well in advance of the transition of Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff in September in order to ensure stability Within the Department.

I pledge my full effort to a smooth transition that ensures the needs and interests of the 2.15 million Service Members and 732,079 civilians receive undistracted attention of the Department at all times so that they can fulfill their critical, round-the-clock mission to protect the American people.

I very much appreciate this opportunity to serve the nation and our men and women in uniform.
Translation: I'm a sellout, I violated my oath of service, and I never had any intention of actually defending American national interests, much less defending the Constitution against its enemies, foreign and domestic. So, I'm resigning in a hissy fit because you're not on board with unwinnable perma-war in the Middle East.

It's just as well. Notice the Mad Poodle's focus on diplomatic marketing gimmicks, "the common defense", and the solidarity of alliances with countries that have less ability to project military force than the average Mexican drug cartel. This guy wasn't a warrior, he was just another corrupt globalist bureaucrat dressed up in a snappy military uniform, complete with fruit salad and red heels. And notice the telling phrase "defense of our citizens and ideals" rather than "our nation and our Constitution".

What is Mattis's legacy? Women in the special forces, trannies in the military, and losing a hopeless proxy war to the Russian-Iranian-Syrian alliance in the Middle East? How very impressive. It kind of reminds you of Julies Caesar and Alexander the Great, does it not? Jimmy Carter's hapless SecDef could have accomplished as much.

The First Rule of Trump

Always, always, ALWAYS wait two days before reacting to anything he says, or anything he is supposed to have said. I was always suspicious of the reports that Trump was afraid to let the government shut down over the wall funding.
The prospect of an embarrassing Christmastime shutdown of the US government loomed Friday as President Donald Trump and congressional Democrats remained far apart on a stopgap funding bill held up by discord over money for a border wall.

An air of chaos hung over Washington as a midnight deadline approached for lawmakers and the president to find a way to do a very basic task: keep the government up and running.

If they do not, key agencies will close and many workers will be furloughed right before Christmas without a paycheck.

The sense of turmoil was compounded by a falling stock market and Trump's abrupt decision to disregard advisers and allies and pull out of Syria and sharply reduce the US troop presence in Afghanistan.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis, seen as a moderating force for an impulsive president, resigned in protest over the Syria decision and Trump's approach to international alliances that are at the heart of US foreign policy.

On government funding, Trump reversed course on Thursday and rejected a measure that unanimously passed the Senate and was under consideration in the House.

He appeared to harden his demand for $5 billion in funding for the wall on the US-Mexico border, a pet project he has fought for since he began campaigning for president in 2015.
Remember, Trump is surrounded by the very worst sort of people who will not only take your silence for assent, but will twist and pervert literally every sound that comes out of your mouth without hesitation. All of the weasel words that surrounded the media narrative about Trump's preemptive cucking on the budget should have been your first sign: "the Trump administration has signaled" and so forth.

All that means is that some subordinates in the administration are trying to influence Trump to go with the flow. It doesn't mean a damn thing with regards to the President's policy or what his actual decision will be. And given that "Mad Poodle" Mattis actually resigned in a hissy fit over Trump's decision to stop fighting an unwinnable perma-war in the Middle East that is of no benefit whatsoever to Americans - that's what the neocon hysteria is really about -  it's clear that the President has been under incredible lobbying pressure from Congress, from his advisers, and from the financial industry.

You don't think it's an accident that the stock market is being crashed now, do you? This is all designed to put pressure on the God-Emperor to surrender to the World Democratic Revolutionaries and the Democrats.

Everybody DOESN'T want to rule the world

Putin calls out the globalists:
Russia does not aim to rule the world, and such assumptions are part of an “imposed mentality” used to distract people, Vladimir Putin told a WSJ reporter when asked about Russia's supposed ambitions for world domination.

Faced with a rather provocative question from the WSJ Moscow Bureau Chief, Ann Maria Simmons, Putin said that “when it comes to ruling the world we know very well where the headquarters [of those], who are trying to do exactly that,” is located. “And it’s not in Moscow,” the president added, speaking at an annual Q&A session in Moscow.

Although the Russian leader has never openly accused Washington of having some global ambitions, he still said that the ongoing contest of influence in the international arena is linked to “the US leading role in the world economy” and its enormous defense spending amounting to “more than $ 700 billion,” which Washington apparently seeks to translate into some political power.

Russia’s defense spending amounts to just $46 billion, the president said, noting that the total population of the NATO countries accounts for some 600 million people while Russia has just about 140 million.
Russia is not the Soviet Union, just as America is not the United States. But those who want to rule the world are the descendants of the murderous global revolutionaries who turned the Soviet Union into a slaughterhouse, the defeated Trotskyites who fled to the United States and reinvented themselves as "neoconservatives" in order to "guide and keep honest the hard-charging Republican party." Now they preach "world democratic revolution" instead of "world socialist revolution". But no matter what it is called, it amounts to the same thing in the end: death and subjugation for all the nations of the world.

If you want to know where the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA theme comes from, now you know.

Speaking of Bears

No Darkstream tonight, as I'll be going on with the Big Bear himself at 7 PM Eastern. It promises to be a bit of a humdinger, so you'll probably want to tune in to his channel.

UPDATE: Here is the link for the stream. Damn, he's good. What a pity he can't host the Oscars either.

Don't poke the Bear

It appears Israel recently received a rude lesson in why one should always avoid irritating the Russian Bear:
Syria will adopt a new rule of engagement with Israel now that Russia has taken a tougher and clearer stance on the conflict between Israel and the “Axis of the Resistance”. Henceforth, Damascus will be responding to any Israeli strike. If it damages a specific military target it will reply with a strike against a similar objective in Israel. Decision makers in Damascus said “Syria will not hesitate to hit an Israeli airport if Damascus airport is targeted and hit by Israel. This will be with the consent of the Russian military based in the Levant”.

“Russia has informed Israel that there are Russian officers present at every Syrian or Iranian military base and that any strike against Syrian or Iranian objectives would hit Russian forces as well. Putin will not allow his soldiers and officers to be struck down by Israel’s direct or indirect bombing”.

Moreover, Russia has given Syria the green light – said the source- to strike Israel at any time if and when Tel Aviv’s planes launch raids against Syrian military targets or launch long-range missiles without flying over Syria (for fear of the S-300 and to avoid seeing its jets downed over Syria or Lebanon).

The source confirmed that Syria – contrary to what Israel claims – now has the most accurate missiles, which can hit any target inside Israel. The Syrian armed forces have received unrevealed long and medium-range missiles from Iran. These operate on the GLONASS system – the abbreviation for Globalnaya Navigazionnaya Sputnikovaya Sistema, the Russian version of the GPS. Thus, the delivery of Iran and the manufacture of missiles inside Syria (and Lebanon) is now complete. Israel, however, claims it has destroyed Syria’s missile capability, including that of the missiles delivered by Iran. According to the source, Damascus controls a very large number of precision missiles, notwithstanding those destroyed by Israel. “In Iran, the cheapest and most accessible items are the SABZI and the missiles”, said the source.

The new Syrian rule of engagement – according to the source – is now as follows: an airport will be hit if Israel hits an airport, and any attack on a barracks or command and control centre will result in an attack on similar target in Israel. It appears that the decision has been taken at the highest level and a clear “bank of objectives” has now been set in place.
These claims of new rules of engagement in the Middle East may be false, of course. They may be nothing more than the usual public posturing. But we will soon be able to tell if they are in effect or not, because if Israel suddenly, and uncharacteristically, stops launching missile attacks into Syrian territory, that will be a strong indication that the reports of the new rules were genuine.

And I tend to suspect these new rules of engagement also have something to do with the recently announced US withdrawal from Syria, as there will no longer an American buffer to defend Israel from a direct Russian response or even a Russian response-by-proxy to Israeli provocations.

Needless to say, someone is lying, or at the very least, wrong. And based on the entire written historical record of war, it is usually the party claiming that the other party's capabilities have been entirely destroyed.

Aquinas and the knowledge of God

While I harbor great respect for the intellect of Thomas Aquinas and rather like his philosophical methodology, no man's reasoning is flawless. Consider the little Socratic switcheroo he pulls here on the subject of the knowledge of God.
Article 9. Whether God has knowledge of things that are not?

Objection 1. It seems that God has not knowledge of things that are not. For the knowledge of God is of true things. But "truth" and "being" are convertible terms. Therefore the knowledge of God is not of things that are not.

Objection 2. Further, knowledge requires likeness between the knower and the thing known. But those things that are not cannot have any likeness to God, Who is very being. Therefore what is not, cannot be known by God.

Objection 3. Further, the knowledge of God is the cause of what is known by Him. But it is not the cause of things that are not, because a thing that is not, has no cause. Therefore God has no knowledge of things that are not.

On the contrary, The Apostle says: "Who . . . calleth those things that are not as those that are" (Romans 4:17).

I answer that, God knows all things whatsoever that in any way are. Now it is possible that things that are not absolutely, should be in a certain sense. For things absolutely are which are actual; whereas things which are not actual, are in the power either of God Himself or of a creature, whether in active power, or passive; whether in power of thought or of imagination, or of any other manner of meaning whatsoever. Whatever therefore can be made, or thought, or said by the creature, as also whatever He Himself can do, all are known to God, although they are not actual. And in so far it can be said that He has knowledge even of things that are not.

Now a certain difference is to be noted in the consideration of those things that are not actual. For though some of them may not be in act now, still they were, or they will be; and God is said to know all these with the knowledge of vision: for since God's act of understanding, which is His being, is measured by eternity; and since eternity is without succession, comprehending all time, the present glance of God extends over all time, and to all things which exist in any time, as to objects present to Him. But there are other things in God's power, or the creature's, which nevertheless are not, nor will be, nor were; and as regards these He is said to have knowledge, not of vision, but of simple intelligence. This is so called because the things we see around us have distinct being outside the seer.

Reply to Objection 1. Those things that are not actual are true in so far as they are in potentiality; for it is true that they are in potentiality; and as such they are known by God.

Reply to Objection 2. Since God is very being everything is, in so far as it participates in the likeness of God; as everything is hot in so far as it participates in heat. So, things in potentiality are known by God, although they are not in act.

Reply to Objection 3. The knowledge of God, joined to His will is the cause of things. Hence it is not necessary that what ever God knows, is, or was, or will be; but only is this necessary as regards what He wills to be, or permits to be. Further, it is in the knowledge of God not that they be, but that they be possible.
That's all well and good. But now consider the subsequent statements in the two following articles.

From Article 12: Since God knows not only things actual but also things possible to Himself or to created things, as shown above (Article 9), and as these must be infinite, it must be held that He knows infinite things.

From Article 13: Since as was shown above (Article 9), God knows all things; not only things actual but also things possible to Him and creature; and since some of these are future contingent to us, it follows that God knows future contingent things.

Now, where is it shown in Article 9 that "God knows all things?" It was certainly CLAIMED in Article 9 that God knows all things, to be precise, Aquinas writes, "I answer that, God knows all things whatsoever that in any way are." But it was not SHOWN.

This is an uncharacteristic Jordan Peterson-style appeal to self-authority. But at least Aquinas did not marvel at the wisdom of his own assertion.

When you're beaten, retreat

Declaring victory and bringing the defeated troops home is absolutely the right move in Syria. The same thing should be done in Afghanistan and Iraq.
President Donald Trump’s decision to declare ISIS defeated and order a full US withdrawal from Syria has been met with anger and disbelief by the Washington establishment that hoped for regime change in Damascus.

Trump declared victory over Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) on Wednesday morning, as media reported that some 2,000 or so US troops will leave Syria within 60 to 100 days. Though Trump had openly spoken about wanting to leave Syria back in March, senior officials in his administration have said that US forces would stay there indefinitely.

One satirical news site perhaps put it best, "reporting" that both the left and the right were taking aim at Trump for "breaking with the longstanding American tradition of remaining in Middle Eastern countries indefinitely."
Cue another round of "the troops weren't defeated, they just weren't permitted to win." Such statements reflect a total ignorance of what war is. The USA completely failed to obtain its military objectives. Despite many, many threats, Assad is still standing and the US-Israeli proxy troops of the Islamic State and the Kurds were repeatedly defeated by the Syrian-Iranian-Hezbollah-Russian alliance. All the US forces have accomplished is to prevent the complete destruction of their Syrian allies.

Like it or not, the USA is an empire in deep decline, and the sooner AIPAC realizes this and stops trying to parasitically make use of the US military forces to accomplish objectives it is incapable of accomplishing, the better it will be for everyone, especially Israel. Israel faces its own problems of a corrupt and declining military, as Martin van Creveld has been pointing out since before its failure to defeat Hezbollah in the 2006 Lebanon War.

But at least Israel can defend its own borders. The much-vaunted US military cannot even manage that.

Darkstream: the labor mobility problem

This mass-firing by Ryanair of all its Dutch personnel is an excellent example of the problem that labor mobility poses the ideology of free trade:
Ryanair has fired all its pilots and cabin crew members based in the Netherlands after they did not agree to be 'voluntarily' relocated to bases as far-flung as Morocco and Belarus.

The Irish low-cost airline officially filed for the collective firing of all personnel at the Dutch Employee Insurance Agency (UWV), an autonomous government administrative authority that handles unemployment benefits.

Ryanair cites bad economic results for its Dutch base at Eindhoven, which was closed on 5th November, as the reason for the mass-dismissal.
To realize the full benefits of free trade, there can be no limits upon workers moving to where they can be most efficiently employed. It doesn't matter if you don't speak Ukrainian, if your family doesn't want to relocate to Morocco, or if your ancestors have lived in Eindhoven for hundreds of years. If it is more efficient for the airline to fly from Belarus or Rabat, then you must go and live there or lose your job to a more cost-effective Moroccan pilot.

That's not merely how free trade works, that's what they mean by the necessity of immigration and the free movement of peoples. Of course, it will, incidentally, result in the complete destruction of every family and every national bond, but then, as Jordan Peterson reassures us, group identities are pathological anyhow, so it's really for the best.

I addressed the issue in tonight's Darkstream.

History is not hate speech

The Voxiversity video SINK THE SHIPS has been removed from YouTube. You can still view it on BitChute. YouTube has also assigned a warning strike to the Voxiversity channel.
Hi Voxiversity,

As you may know, our Community Guidelines describe which content we allow – and don’t allow – on YouTube. Your video "Sink The Ships" was flagged for review. Upon review, we’ve determined that it violates our guidelines. We’ve removed it from YouTube and assigned a Community Guidelines strike, or temporary penalty, to your account.

Video content restrictions
We encourage free speech and defend everyone's right to express their points of view, even if unpopular. However, YouTube doesn't allow hate speech. Sometimes there's a fine line between what is and isn't considered hate speech. If you're not sure whether or not your content crosses the line, we ask that you don't post it. Learn more here.

The impact of strikes
This is the first strike applied to your account. We understand that users seldom intend to violate our policies. That’s why strikes don’t last forever – this strike will expire in three months. However, it’s important to remember that additional strikes could prevent you from posting content to YouTube or even lead to your account being terminated.

How you can respond
If you believe this was a mistake, we’d like to hear from you. Please follow both of these steps as simply deleting the video won’t resolve the strike on your account.

    - The next time you sign in you will be asked to acknowledge this strike on your account.
    - If you would like to appeal this strike, please submit this form. Our team will thoroughly review your appeal and will contact you again very soon.

Sincerely,
- The YouTube Team
I appealed the strike and pointed out that history is not "hate speech", that advocating the defense of national borders is not "hate speech", and that endorsing military action is not "hate speech". But this is yet another reminder of how it is vital to build our own platforms and utilize non-converged platforms like BitChute.

If YouTube does not remove the strike, I will investigate switching my Darkstream channel chat over to Stream.Me in the place of the YouTube chat until the strike expires. This action is further evidence, as if any was needed, that SJWs will attempt to eliminate history that contradicts the current narrative.

Facebook doesn't SELL your data

They just GIVE IT AWAY to all their SJW social media buddies:
When he stood before Congress in April, following yet another scandal at Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg declared 'We don't sell data to anyone'.

That may technically be the case, but a new New York Times expose has revealed that Facebook gave 150 companies access to hundreds of millions of users' data without their knowledge or consent. Records obtained by the Times reveal that the amount of data Cambridge Analytica received from a Facebook app paled in comparison to the access that was granted to the social media giant's biggest partners, including Amazon, Spotify, and Netflix.

Facebook gave Netflix, Spotify, and the Royal Bank of Canada the ability to read, write, and delete Facebook users' private messages and to see all participants on a thread, according to the internal records. It also allowed Microsoft's search engine, known as Bing, to see the name of all Facebook users' friends without their consent.

Amazon was allowed to obtain users' names and contact information through their friends, and Yahoo could view streams of friends' posts. As of last year, Sony, Microsoft, and Amazon could all obtain users' email addresses through their friends.
It must be that amazing 115 IQ that has enabled Mark Zuckerberg's astonishing success. It can't be because he is a shameless, amoral deceiver who doesn't even hesitate to ever-so-cleverly dazzle and confuse his inquisitors with his astonishing verbal skills.

Of course, it's hardly surprising that the morons in Congress didn't think to ask him any follow-up questions concerning the obvious variations and permutations on the privacy-violating theme in order to pin the evasive alien down. This revelation should be sufficient to shut down Facebook permanently for its repeated mass violations of privacy.

A revolution in publishing

You say you want a revolution? We have one right here just in time for Christmas. First, the audiobooks, all in DRM-free MP3 format:
This is all brand new to us, so if you have any problems with the process or if a file link is incorrectly assigned, please let us know and we will address it right away. Moira's reading of her book is particularly good; her musical background is readily apparent.

Please note that we will never delay our ebook releases in order to create these digital bundles. Our production process is straightforward: ebook, print, audiobook. If you compare our prices with Audible and other audio options, it should be evident that you're not paying for the ebook twice if you already own it, the inclusion of the ebook is merely added value for those who have not yet read the book and might like to be able to follow along with the audiobook.

In other book news, despite the metadata mixup that has temporarily the cover image out of the listing, THE DARK AVENGER'S SIDEKICK by John C. Wright is now available in a spectacular 596-page hardcover for $29.99 from Castalia House Direct. This is the trilogy that contains Moth & Cobweb Books 4-6: Daughter of Danger, City of Corpses, and Tithe to Tartarus and makes a handsome companion to The Green Knight's Squire.

Some audiobook enthusiasts have asked us about the possibility of our developing a custom audiobook app that is integrated with our Arkhaven store. We have the technical capacity to do so, but our bandwidth is limited and it is a questionable use of our time and technical resources given the opportunity cost. Most likely, we would do a small crowdfunding for such a project in order to get an idea of the actual demand as opposed to the theoretical enthusiasm. If you have any thoughts on this, please feel free to share them here.

Why do you think?

The only thing more ridiculous than Justin Trudeau trying to deal with China is the thought of Jordan Peterson trying to do so:
A third Canadian citizen has been detained in China, Canada's National Post newspaper reported on Wednesday, citing the Canadian foreign ministry. A spokesperson with Global Affairs Canada said it was 'aware of a Canadian citizen' who has been detained, but did not provide further details, citing the Privacy Act.

At a daily news briefing in Beijing, China's foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said she was unaware of the situation.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau - who said on Friday the detentions were unacceptable - told CTV his government was taking the situation very seriously.

'We have engaged with the Chinese officials to determine what exactly conditions are they being detained under? Why are they being detained?' he said in an interview aired on Sunday. McCallum met Kovrig for the first time on Friday.
Canada apparently doesn't understand that Uncle Sam doesn't have the global muscle that he used to have. What we're seeing here is another of the death throes of the neo-Trotskyite globalist order.

Darkstream 10k

I look forward to being able to call it Darkstream 40k. But in the meantime, that's not so bad.

By the way, I was just on with Alex Jones. He actually had a copy of the Jordanetics paperback, which is more than I can say. It's really rather remarkable how the globalists are desperate to corral the nationalist Right with their approved and controlled opposition; things are fairly obviously spiraling out of their control despite the lamentable failure of the Trump administration to do the two things it was elected to do.
  1. Build the Wall
  2. Drain the Swamp
Seriously, what morons in the Republican Party even hesitate to shut down the government. The government is the primary problem! Threatening to shut down the government is like threatening to throw Br'er Rabbit in the briar patch.
The White House suggested Tuesday that President Donald Trump could back down from his demand for $5 billion to fund his proposed border wall in a year-end spending bill.

Trump's push for the money has threatened a partial government shutdown when funding for seven agencies lapses after midnight Friday. Last week, the president said he would be "proud" to close parts of the government over border security.

"We have other ways that we can get to that $5 billion that we'll work with Congress," White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders told Fox News on Tuesday morning. She added that the Trump administration could support $1.6 billion in border security funding proposed by Senate Democrats, as long as it can "couple that with other funding resources" to get to $5 billion. She added that "at the end of the day, we don't want to shut down the government. We want to shut down the border." Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi have cast the potential lapse in funding as the "Trump shutdown.
Instead of spending $5 billion on the promised Big Beautiful Wall, Congress is just going to give $10.6 billion to Mexico.
The United States pledged $5.8 billion in aid Tuesday for strengthening government and economic development in Central America, and another $4.8 billion in development aid for southern Mexico.
Shut it down, Mr. President. You had two jobs. And to date, you haven't finished either of them.

Shapiro replacing Savage

Convergence isn't just for SJWs. The cuckservatives are getting into the game now and propping up the Littlest Chickenhawk on a national scale:
The voice of New York, come Jan. 7, may be no more.

That’s because WABC, one of the city’s premiere, preeminent stations, is poised to boot Michael Savage — to deplatform him, in broadcast-speak, said his attorney, Daniel Horowitz, in a telephone interview.

WABC isn’t saying such; in fact, a recent news release from the station indicates Savage will be moving into a new, fresher format designed to take advantage of emerging media, one that will see him do one hour of radio alongside one hour of podcast.

But the behind-the-scenes story is a bit different.

According to Horowitz, who said he’s seen “the emails back and forth” between his client, Savage, and the radio powers-who-be, “The Savage Nation” is actually poised to go dark on WABC on Jan. 7.

And not just on WABC: Horowitz said media powerhouses in Los Angeles, Chicago and Washington, D.C., are all giving the boot to Savage, as well.

Why? What’s going on?

Well, it’s not ratings, Horowitz said. And he’s right; the numbers bear the truth of Savage’s years-long radio dominance.

Take a look: “Michael Savage Proves a Ratings Tour-de-Force on Bay Area’s KSFO,” Newsmax blared in a headline in June of 2016, in a story on Savage’s domination in that West Coast market.

Then there’s this: In late 2017, Talk Stream Live listed Savage, with 14.8 million listeners, as the second most-listened to top talk radio voice in the nation, behind only Rush Limbaugh’s 16.5 million listeners — but far ahead of third place Laura Ingraham’s 6.8 million.

Meanwhile, Radio Insight reported in September that Westwood One was “shaking up its weekday afternoon Conservative Talk block” and that “Ben Shapiro To Go National As Michael Savage Cuts Back To One Hour.” The release went on to note that Cumulus just “launched Ben Shapiro on six stations in April including a live clearance on 770 WABC New York and delayed clearances on WMAL Washington DC, WLS Chicago, WYAY Atlanta and KABC Los Angeles.”

OK. So out with the old, in with the new?

Perhaps. Perhaps that’s how the radio gods might put it. But given Savage’s ratings and time-tested popularity with the people, that excuse doesn’t meet the smell test.
You can't fool all, or even most, of the people all the time. But you can fool enough conservatives with a puppet repeating talking points long enough to make it worth your while.

Japan is not a long-term ally

Eamonn Fingleton, the author of In the Jaws of the Dragon, ($19.99 at Castalia Direct) observes that the USA would be very, very unwise to put much weight on its strategic alliance with Japan in the event of a serious war with China over the South Pacific:
The Japanese and the Chinese are pragmatic people who rarely let history get in the way of good business. And there is no question that, for both sides, the alliance is good business. The two economies are highly complementary: Japan’s ultra capital-intensive manufacturers supply the sophisticated components and complex equipment needed by China’s labour-intensive factories. As the resulting consumer goods are exported mainly to the west, the relationship is a win-win in trade terms for both nations. For Japan in particular, the benefits are far larger than is generally understood: it has an enormous interest in China’s exporting success. Thus although China’s exports to the U.S. now exceed even Japan’s, the widely voiced conclusion that China’s success has come at Japan’s expense is misguided. The truth is that a large proportion of the high-tech components and materials used in China’s exports originates in Japan. In effect, much of what Japan exports to the U.S. these days goes through China. This helps explain a crucial fact: Japan’s aggregate current account surpluses with the world as a whole are three to four times greater than China’s.

Short-term economic considerations are not the decisive factor in Japan’s changing diplomatic priorities. Japan’s preference for a world led by China rather than by the U.S. is based on culture. Though many westerners imagine otherwise, Japan is deeply uncomfortable with many aspects of western culture. Although Japan presents a thoroughly westernized face to the world, this reflects no sincere acceptance of Judeo-Christian values.

Japan and China share Confucian and Buddhist traditions. Both are ruled by a traditional East Asian ethos of father knows best. Citizens are saddled with a heavy burden of duties while being denied many rights taken for granted in the west.

Because of their common cultural heritage, the Japanese and Chinese think alike in economic matters, too. Officials in both nations have huge powers to direct savings flows, build export industries, and generally shape economic outcomes. This means the two nations find themselves making common cause in opposing American efforts to reshape other nations’ economies along U.S. lines.

Human rights is another area in which a common cultural heritage has helped align the two nations’ diplomatic interests. Japanese and Chinese leaders are at one in viewing a nation’s human rights policies as a purely internal affair. Thus Japan does not try to dictate China’s human rights policies, any more than China tries to dictate Japan’s.
I suspect Fingleton's analysis is much more likely to be correct than the common foreign policy assumption that Japan is frightened of China and will rely upon the US military to protect it from its increasingly ascendant neighbor.

As difficult as it may be for the average Westerner to accept, the Japanese do not genuinely prize the Western values and social structures that were forcibly imposed upon them subsequent to their military defeat at the hands of the USA. The USA has twice imposed its will upon an unwilling Japanese people, first in 1853, then again in 1945, and I expect that the Japanese would be considerably more comfortable in a Chinese hegemony than in the entirely foreign one that the US hegemony represents.

The Japanese know perfectly well that the Chinese are not a naturally aggressive empire. For centuries, China has been internally focused, and far more sinned against by imperial Western powers than inclined to engage in any imperial adventures. True, the Japanese occupation of the 20th century was cruel, but considerably less cruel and less lethal than the Cultural Revolution that followed it.

And it is entirely evident that the superficial adoption of Western ways has not been good for the Japanese people. The malaise that affects them is entirely the result of the attempt to impose Western civilization on a foreign nation lacking any integral connection to its three foundations, Christianity, the Graeco-Roman legacy, and the European nations. I doubt it escapes Japanese observers that the West is presently suffering the same malaise as a result of its rejection of its own civilizational roots.

Amazon devours all

A recent promotion within Amazon signals that its Retail side has won out over its erstwhile Marketplace mentality. An explanation of how that affects the bookselling world and Castalia House's strategy for 2019 and beyond.
Over the past few months, Amazon has applied intense pressure to consumer brands across different product categories — seizing more control over what, where and how they can sell their goods on the so-called everything store, these people say.

One apparent goal: To take more control over the price of goods on Amazon so the company can better compete with retailers. The power moves are also believed to be a prelude to a new internal system that Amazon has yet to launch called One Vendor. The new initiative will essentially funnel big brands and independent sellers alike through the same back-end system in a supposed effort to improve the uniformity of the shopping experience across Amazon on the public-facing side.

In the lead-up to that launch, this fall Amazon has been notifying brands that sell products in categories ranging from household consumables to fashion accessories that part of their business on Amazon would be shut down — with just 30 days notice.

“Amazon obsesses over the customer experience and your brand has opportunities for improvement that will be possible by transitioning your full business to Vendor Central,” read one email from Amazon to a brand. “As a result, we have made the decision to source your products for sale by Amazon only and your existing Seller Central account will be closed within 30 days of this email.”

Translation: Amazon is telling these brands that they can no longer sell directly to customers as an independent seller on the Amazon platform for third-party merchants known as the Amazon Marketplace. The advantages to selling on the Marketplace include the ability to control the sale price of the goods, run price promotions and get more data about how products are performing and who’s buying them.

Instead, the email is telling brands that they can only sell items to Amazon’s retail group at wholesale cost, and let Amazon act as the seller and determine the retail cost.

This policy is not completely new. For years, Amazon has had a policy that says if a brand sells its goods to retailers outside of Amazon and wants to also sell on Amazon, the company “expects” the brand “to give Amazon Retail the option to source those products at competitive terms for sale as Retail items only.” But it was not consistently followed — until now.

“The policy hasn’t changed but the enforcement is changing,” said Justin Leigh, a former Amazon product manager who for the last 10 years has run Ideoclick, a Seattle-based consultancy for brands that want to sell and advertise on Amazon.

An Amazon spokeswoman said the policy is intended to help reduce customer confusion.

But in addition to increased enforcement, an even bigger deal is a recent addition to the policy.

The new language not only bars some manufacturers and brands from selling their goods on the Amazon Marketplace if Amazon wants to sell the product itself — but also “their agents, licensees, and other representatives selling on their behalf.”
What this means is that Amazon is increasingly seeking to control and sell its own content rather than serve as a middleman. That's precisely why Kindle Select and Kindle Unlimited have been adopted, to change the structure of the ebook market as Amazon increasingly shifts the revenue split between Amazon and the author toward Amazon at the expense of the author.

In other words, now that Amazon has drained about as much of the revenue stream as it effectively can from the traditional publishers, it has no choice but to do the same to the independent publishers and the self-published authors if it is going to increase its sales. Because the overall market is not growing, the book market is a zero-sum game and Amazon cannot grow except at the expense of the ebook authors who in recent years have profited with Amazon at the expense of the traditional publishers.

This is why we are no longer participating in Kindle Select. And this is why it is going to be increasingly important for independent authors to either a) become part of the A9-favored Elect or b) find a way to succeed outside of Amazon. And while (a) is almost certainly the more profitable short-term move, it is not an option for most authors, and furthermore, requires the author to remain in the good graces of a moderately SJW-converged corporation, which is a dangerous place for anyone to be. While Amazon is considerably more professional and sane than Apple, Twitter, Patreon, and other more SJW-converged companies, it is very far from neutral.

How can I be so certain that the trend towards Retail and content control is inevitable? Because the individual who has driven the Retail side is now in charge of the whole shebang.
Earlier this year, Amazon made moves to consolidate much of the decision-making for its retail platform under a single leader, Senior Vice President Doug Herrington, who has spent nearly 14 years at the company. Herrington comes from the Amazon Retail side of the business, where Amazon sources products itself and acts as a seller. That, brand leaders and consultants say, has influenced recent moves.
Now, there is nothing wrong with what Amazon is doing. This is just a business strategy and it can't be compared to the deplatformings and civil wrongdoings of companies like Indiegogo. One can still work with Amazon, one simply can't take the risk of working exclusively with them as we have for the past four years. That is why we will be selling all of our new audiobooks from the Arkhaven store and why we are removing almost all of our books from Kindle Select, including the comics. We expect to have all of them removed from the exclusive system by the end of February.

This is great news for those of you who prefer DRM-free epubs, as we now have eight of the ten THERE WILL BE WAR books available for sale on the Arkhaven store, including the newly available Volume II, Volume III, Volume VII, and Volume X. The books also come in Kindle-compatible MOBI format for those of you who prefer to read on your Kindle devices.

We hope Castalia ebook and audiobook fans will continue to migrate to our direct stores, as so many of our print book buyers have already. Even though we only began our print direct sales in March, and even though the direct sales will not be available in the UK, Europe, and Australia until sometime in 2019, ONE-THIRD of all our growing print sales now go through Castalia Books Direct.  This is a tremendous strategic success. While Amazon is massively convenient and will always be an important retail outlet for us, it is vital for us to maintain our independence from it and it is those of you who buy our books that permit Castalia House, Arkhaven, and Dark Legion to do that.

When cucks cry

This is what it sounds like:
Russell Moore@drmoore
The shuttering of the @weeklystandard is a monumental and senseless loss to the intellectual and cultural life of this country. Thank you @BillKristol and co. for almost 25 years of a great magazine. I look forward to what’s next from all of you.
It's not for me to judge. But I have to confess, when I picture the kind of "Christian" that God says He will spit out of His mouth, Russell Moore is precisely the sort of individual I would imagine suffering that fate.

Is Israel the real enemy of America?

Because I don't see Russia or China or Iran actively attempting to interfere with and eliminate the Constitutional rights of U.S. citizens. And anti-BDS laws are intrinsically anti-American.
A CHILDREN’S SPEECH PATHOLOGIST who has worked for the last nine years with developmentally disabled, autistic, and speech-impaired elementary school students in Austin, Texas, has been told she can no longer work with the public school district after she refused to sign an oath vowing that she “does not” and “will not” engage in a boycott of Israel or “otherwise tak[e] any action that is intended to inflict economic harm” on that foreign nation. A lawsuit on her behalf was filed early Monday morning in a federal court in the Western District of Texas alleging a violation of her First Amendment right of free speech.

The child language specialist, Bahia Amawi, is a U.S. citizen who received a master’s degree in speech pathology in 1999 and, since then, has specialized in evaluations for young children with language difficulties (see video below). Amawi was born in Austria and has lived in the U.S. for the last 30 years, fluently speaks three languages (English, German, and Arabic), and has four U.S.-born American children of her own.

Amawi began working in 2009 on a contract basis with the Pflugerville Independent School District, which includes Austin, to provide assessments and support for school children from the county’s growing Arabic-speaking immigrant community. The children with whom she has worked span the ages of 3 to 11. Ever since her work for the school district began in 2009, her contract was renewed each year with no controversy or problem.

But this year, all of that changed. On August 13, the school district once again offered to extend her contract for another year by sending her essentially the same contract and set of certifications she has received and signed at the end of each year since 2009.

She was prepared to sign her contract renewal until she noticed one new, and extremely significant, addition: a certification she was required to sign pledging that she “does not currently boycott Israel,” that she “will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract,” and that she shall refrain from any action “that is intended to penalize, inflict economic harm on, or limit commercial relations with Israel, or with a person or entity doing business in Israel or in an Israel-controlled territory.”
Regardless of what you may think of Israel, or any other country, a U.S. citizen absolutely has the right to personally boycott any business he wants for any reason at all. And a freaking SCHOOL DISTRICT has no right to act in this inquisitorial, conscience-violating manner on behalf of a foreign nation. This direct legal assault on the core Constitutional rights of Americans is an absolutely insane overreaction on the part of the Israel First fifth column in the United States to the growing anti-Israel BDS movement.

If I was Benjamin Netanyahu or any other Israeli leader with influence over AIPAC, the various Jewish organizations, or the media neocons, I would tell them to retreat immediately from this ludicrously self-destructive and obviously unconstitutional policy of attempting to ban the anti-BDS movement, or face being entirely disavowed by Israel. This attack on American rights will not only justify anti-semitism more than any quantity of blood libels or historical complaints about usurious money lenders ever have, it will render it almost mandatory for every single genuine American and U.S. citizen who respects the U.S. Constitution.

Now, I support Israel. I do not support the BDS movement. But I am 100 percent opposed to this insane, egregious, offensively stupid assault on the unalienable rights of Americans. And if these anti-American laws are not overturned for their blatant unconstitutionality, as I expect they will be, then every single US supporter of Israel will have to seriously consider endorsing the BDS movement on principle.

This anti-BDS legal campaign goes far beyond the concept of an own goal. In sports terms, this is Jim Marshall running with the ball towards his own end zone.

The review war

Honest readers of Jordanetics are battling the lobster cultists in the reviews at Amazon. First, the recent one-star reviews from the cultists:
Intellectually Inaccurate
Joshua Richardson

I thought that this was satire at first because a lot of what was written in this book is the opposite of Dr. Peterson. Unfortunately, I was wrong, and this guy actually believes this nonsense.

Looks like someone is jealous of Jordan Peterson
Sarah Young

Anyone who actually believes this hogwash has grossly misinterpreted the writings, beliefs and assertions of Peterson in a way that only SJW's and safe space snowflakes have been capable of for the past twenty years. This is a petty, childish attempt to besmirch Jordan Peterson because of the epic levels of success he's had with young men and women today. Assigning malice and evil motives based on absurd misunderstandings of Peterson's work is a truly detestable and ugly thing to do. In fact, it makes me wonder if the writers and minds behind this book actually do understand Peterson's views, but have chosen, purely out of spite and jealousy, to lie about them in order to slander his name. Grow up, haters.

He didn't read Maps of Meaning
343Programson

I would recommend reading this. But first read and understand Dr. Peterson's first book Maps of Meaning (he has a free pdf of it on his website). 12 rules is a footnote to the book Dr. Peterson spent 15 years writing. In CHAPTER 5: THE HOSTILE BROTHERS: ARCHETYPES OF RESPONSE TO THE UNKNOWN Jordan describes the motivations behind Jordanetics, and the personality structure of the type of person the author is. With that as a reference Jordanetics made me laugh out loud a couple times.
Against which stand the recent five-star reviews. Note the difference between the extensive detail provided by those who read and appreciated the book and the defensive retreat to the very dismissals predicted in the book itself by those seeking to defend their false father figure.
A precise account of a purposely imprecise figure
John

In Jordanetics, Vox Day does a fantastic job shining light into the shadowy philosophy, spirituality, and rhetoric of Dr. Jordan Peterson. I had been a curious follower of Dr. Peterson for about a year after I discovered him. He struck me as a fascinating and unique intellectual and as a Christian, I was surprised (and skeptical) to hear such a figure discussing theology at length in interviews and lectures. I also thought it was refreshing to hear a cultural voice discussing human suffering without resorting to full blown leftist, SJW rhetoric. However, The more I delved into his work, the more I discovered that Dr Peterson frequently misrepresented and twisted the Biblical accounts, the Gospel, and the Christian world view in general. I then learned and observed several things that made me stop following him altogether. 1. He charges $100 to $400 for tickets and meet and greets at his speaking events. 2. He signed with the talent agency CAA. The same agency that created the #metoo movement while also repping Harvey Weinstein. 3. He began strategically associating himself with any individual, group, or movement, that could potentially gain him more money, power, audience, and influence. 4. His Kavanaugh tweet. The tweet that single handedly contradicted every ethical, moral, and spiritual principle he had endlessly preached. Rules for thee, but not for me indeed. In Jordanetics, Vox Day confirms my suspicions and adds far more to the growing case against one of the most successful and widely lauded charlatans of modern times. The book is very well researched and builds a very strong case against Peterson's slippery debate tactics, dishonest character, occult religiosity, and cultish power seeking. The fabulous Milo Yiannopoulos also stops by to contribute an excellent foreword full of substantial incites and great wit. In conclusion: whether you're an avid follower of Jordan Peterson or an individual casually familiar with his work, you owe it to yourself to read Jordanetics. You will close it's final chapter feeling clear headed about Peterson's intentionally cloudy teachings, and develop your ability to discern in a meaningful way.

A total rebuke of Jordan Peterson's philosophy
Charles

Jordanetics is a thorough investigation of the map of meaning provided by Jordan Peterson in his 12 Rules for Life. Jordanetics illuminates numerous threads that go unseen to the naive reader, but are exposed in full by Vox Day, who identifies the full meaning of each rule. One finds that the 12 Rules are scarcely elaborated on themselves, and function as camouflage for the esoteric idea of Peterson’s Balance between Order and Chaos, which is bound by a deep occultism. Jordanetics rips apart the false Christian signaling that hides a pagan or post-Christian religion, which can even be described as Satanic in certain respects. One simply cannot hold Jordan Peterson in the same as esteem as one formerly might have once having read this stunning breakdown of his ideas. The book has a bit of a slow wind-up period as it builds its case, but around the halfway point, the pieces start to come together in an undeniably compelling counter-narrative to Peterson’s public persona, which is forever shattered in the eyes of any Jordanetics reader by the time one reaches the conclusion of this remarkable work.

Best peterson take down I have read yet!!
cypress heldt

Peterson always gave me a odd feeling when listening to his videos and lectures. This books explains very clearly why that is so. Voxday does the topic of justice when it comes to the mindless drones of JBP fans who place the rhetoric before there grammar. JBP will be getting a copy of this master piece in the near future if he does not relapse first.

Must read
lindacain

Well written, easy to read. Sobering perspective on the sudden popularity of JBP. Snapped me out of my uncritical consumption of You Tube videos.
Note that you can still get the paperback edition of Jordanetics in time for Christmas from Castalia Direct.

A justifiable homicide

Jon Podhoretz whines about the long-overdue shuttering of a magazine that no one wanted, no one bought, never made any money, and was dedicated to the destruction of traditional America and the oppression of American Posterity.
The Weekly Standard will be no more. There is no real reason we are witnessing the magazine’s demise other than deep pettiness and a personal desire for bureaucratic revenge on the part of a penny-ante Machiavellian who works for its parent company.

There would at least be a larger meaning to the Standard’s end if it were being killed because it was hostile to Donald Trump. But I do not believe that is the case. Rather, I believe the fissures in the conservative movement and the Republican party that have opened up since Trump’s rise provided the company man with a convenient argument to make to the corporation’s owner, Philip Anschutz, that the company could perhaps harvest the Standard’s subscriber-base riches and then be done with it.

That this is an entirely hostile act is proved by the fact that he and Anschutz have refused to sell the Standard because they want to claim its circulation for another property of theirs. This is without precedent in my experience in publishing, and I’ve been a family observer of and active participant in the magazine business for half a century.

The creation of the Weekly Standard was my proudest professional moment. When Bill Kristol and I conceived the magazine at the end of 1994, our purpose was to create a publication that would help guide and keep honest the hard-charging Republican party that had scored its stunning lopsided victory over Bill Clinton’s Democrats. This putative magazine would not cheerlead for Newt Gingrich’s Republicans, but instead represent the best thinking about how to lead the country through a new conservative era. We were criticized for not being part of the team from the get-go. Indeed, after the first issue came out in September 1995, a wag at a weekly meeting in Washington chaired by Grover Norquist handed out a parody of the Standard based on the precept that we had already gone off the reservation and weren’t being properly supportive of the Gingrich era.
Note in particular how their purpose from the very start "was to create a publication that would help guide and keep honest the hard-charging Republican party."

In other words, The Weekly Standard had precisely the same goals as Jordan Peterson and Ben Shapiro, which is to gatekeep the American Right and prevent it from becoming too Christian, too nationalist, and too devoted to American interests.

Good riddance.

Audiobooks and class action

Question for audiobook readers:

We now have the capability of selling audiobooks through the Arkhaven store. We could price them at the same price as a print book, throw in a free copy of the ebook, and do much better than we do on Audible. However, we know that many people on Audible simply acquire audiobooks through free credits rather than actually buying them at the inflated prices there.

So, is there any interest in buying audiobooks directly, which would consist of a series of MP3 files instead of whatever convoluted system Audible uses, or would doing so be pointless? We will still make our audiobooks available at Audioble, we simply won't choose the exclusive option.

Please advise. One benefit will be that we can offer our audiobooks 2-4 weeks sooner than they appear on Audible. The audio quality will be identical, since the source files are the same.

UPDATE: After doing an amount of research, we're going to target a base price of $9.99 for a normal audiobook of 6-9 hours. The maximum price will probably be on the order of $24.99 for a monster book like A Throne of Bones, which we anticipate being on the order of 36-40 hours. We will usually include a copy of the ebook with the audio book whenever possible, but keep in mind that we usually release ebooks long before we record the audiobook.

Instructions for original AH:Q backers:

If you are an original Alt-Hero:Q backer who opted out of the class action waiver in October, please email litle32000 AT yahoo DOT com to let him know that you would like to be included in the class action request for arbitration. He will get back to you with the information that is required. If you backed the campaign but did not opt out, please do not email yet, but wait for further instructions that will be provided in the next two weeks.

If you did not opt out, you can still definitely file your own request for arbitration, but that would cost you $250 and will likely prove to be unnecessary, depending upon how things develop going forward. It is our opinion that Indiegogo is not going to insist on standing by that particular Term of Use in light of the obvious alternative that would require them to pay for what could be hundreds of separate arbitrations.

Especially since we have confirmed that the woman who appears to have been primarily responsible for the deplatforming, Kerry J. Barker, left Indiegogo only weeks after Trust & Safety's retro-cancellation of the AH:Q campaign, for reasons that are as yet undetermined.

UPDATE: Since there appears to be an amount of interest, if you're interested in testing the audiobooks from our store, we have made two small ones available, both for $3.99. Our plan is to keep the prices low, roughly half the price of Audible, and keep the audio files DRM-free.

2020's sacrificial lamb

Democrats are modifying the order of their state primaries in order to serve up Kamala Harris to the God-Emperor in 2020:
The nation’s most populous liberal state has moved its presidential nominating contest to early in the 2020 calendar, a shift its leaders hope will give it maximum impact on the selection of a Democratic nominee and push candidates to address progressive issues such as climate change.

Selling white Democrat disenfranchisement as a way to “address progressive issues such as climate change” that only white Democrats care about is a nice touch.

With Deval Patrick out and Cory Booker too weird to pose a real threat, Kamala’s biggest obstacle in winning the nomination is a structural one. At 86% and 91%, Iowa and New Hampshire are far whiter than the country as a whole, at 61%, is. Not since Bill Clinton in 1992 has the eventual Democrat nominee failed to win at least one of those first two states.

If Kamala wins either one, the nomination is almost certainly hers. Nevada and South Carolina will have non-white majorities among their Democrat primary-goers so she will easily win contests #3 and #4. With the huge California prize now part of Super Tuesday–as opposed to being an irrelevant afterthought as was the case in 2016–a day that already includes Texas, where non-whites will make up three-fourths Democrat primary-goers, it’s conceivable she will have effectively clinched the nomination by the first week of March.
The Democrats desperately want to run "a woman of color" for President, but they know perfectly well that doing so would be electoral suicide. So, they'll run her in 2020, when they know no one is going to beat an ascendant Donald Trump who will have put the Mueller probe behind him by then. Trump will also be in good form in 2020, as he will likely be stimulated in a productive manner by the replacement of the back-stabbing of the Establishment Republican House with the open opposition of the Democratic House.

The serious candidates are Beto and Garcetti, both of whom will be given dry runs to prep them for 2024. I think Beto is more serious, as Jewish influence in the Democratic Party is clearly fading.

A society of Secret Kings

Gamma World must resemble the hierarchy of Hell. Another key attribute of the Gamma male is that they cannot endure their own behavior in others.
Kanye East
Vox- I want to talk with you. That's all- I used insults to get your attention- but I'm really concerned about your positions. I just want to talk- but you keep deleting my comments.

VD
Okay, very well, Kanye East. You said you would provide your name, address, and telephone number in order to debate. Post your full legal name, address, and telephone number here in the comments and I'll arrange for you to get a telephone call. If you don't want to do that, go away and stay away.

Kanye East
No- Vox- I'll email you in a way where we can talk without the rest of the trolls attacking me.

VD
No deal, Kanye. You're observably a cowardly little gamma boy. You were willing to troll and attack me, but you aren't willing to endure the very behavior in which you engage yourself. You had your chance. Now you're banned. And you've demonstrated to everyone that you're nothing but talk.
This is why it's best to simply eject Gammas from your social circles, your businesses, your organizations, and your projects as soon as they show their true nature. They simply are not compatible with the smooth functioning of any group; even Gammas can't abide their own behavior in others.

Note the complete social dysfunctionality in the gamma's reasoning. "I insulted you so that you would talk to me about my concerns." So, the gamma insults someone repeatedly, harasses them, and then wonders why the target of their insults and harassment has no interest whatsoever in engaging with them? No wonder women have a hair trigger and go nuclear on men whose behavior betrays even the slightest whiff of gamma.

"I want to talk without trolls attacking me." The hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness here is astounding. Why should the gamma be exempt from the very behavior he has modeled? What if those trolls just want to talk to him? This is why gammas constantly attempt to glom on to new groups and newly encountered high-status individuals: they don't want to be around their own kind any more than anyone else wants to be around them.
