The threatened Alpha

Why on Earth is the God-Emperor attacking Ann Coulter?
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
Wacky Nut Job @AnnCoulter, who still hasn’t figured out that, despite all odds and an entire Democrat Party of Far Left Radicals against me (not to mention certain Republicans who are sadly unwilling to fight), I am winning on the Border. Major sections of Wall are being built and renovated, with MUCH MORE to follow shortly. Tens of thousands of illegals are being apprehended (captured) at the Border and NOT allowed into our Country. With another President, millions would be pouring in. I am stopping an invasion as the Wall gets built. #MAGA
I think the president's response is better understood via the socio-sexual hierarchy than through politics. Trump knows better than anyone else that he's failing to deliver. He can sense his support crumbling; alphas are very sensitive to these things. And alphas highly value female opinion, as it is female approval of them that most clearly highlights their distinction from men lower in the hierarchy.

So, Coulter's brutal appraisal of the president's near-complete failure on the most important issue of his campaign stings him to his core. Coulter, by the way, almost certainly knows this and she is not attempting to tear the president down, but rather to motivate him to stop listening to the cucks and foreigners and bad economists around him and start living up to his promises.

The challenges are manifold, even though Trump is genuinely doing more to address the problem than any president since Eisenhower and he is meeting staunch and formidable opposition. But he is betrayed by his own preference for negotiated settlements and expectations of rational behavior on the part of his opponents, and by his own civic nationalism. Unless he is willing to declare no-quarter, go scorched earth on the issue, and actually behave as if he is facing a genuine national emergency of existential proportions - which he legitimately is, whether he is able to grasp that or not - he is going to fail on all three of the primary issues upon which he was elected.

That doesn't mean he has been a failure. Far from it! He has been an excellent president and he will be justifiably re-elected in 2020. The problem is that after more than 50 years of relentless foreign invasion, the situation is so dire that mere excellence will not suffice.

What can we do to put pressure on the President? It's getting late to organize a spring break trip to southern AZ and NM to erect fencing. But maybe next year.

Imagine being President Donald J. Trump.

After risking your name, fortune and freedom to be elected President, you find yourself in Washington DC, surrounded by traitors and enemies trying to block, slow-walk, or blatantly defy everything you do while they also contrive to find reasons to impeach you and put your friends and family in jail.

Every single day the media lies about you, stirring up insane hatred in the hope that some lunatic will take a shot at you.

The entire Globohomo establishment is still doing everything possible to defeat you, and large swaths of the judiciary have openly abandoned the rule of law to #resist you.

Despite that, you're fighting every single day on multiple fronts to grind out wins, knowing that you're - sadly - not a dictator and as soon as you do anything even of questionable legality, Republican turbocucks like Mitt Romney will join the democrats in voting to abort your administration in permanent disgrace.

And there's a horsey-looking blonde woman who claims to be on your side, but seems to do nothing but scream hysterically at you on Twitter every day while relentlessly blackpilling WEREDOOMED.txt because you aren't actually Superman and can't magically undo several decades of institutional poz and trillions of dollars worth of vested interests in five minutes.

Instead of focusing her ire on your many, many, enemies inside and outside your party, or even informing the normies of the scale of the treason you're facing like Tucker Carlson does, she's acting like a post-menopausal CARRIE, using her megaphone to depress and demoralise the good guys and make the possibility of the establishment recapturing the White House in 2020 a little bit more likely.

You might get tired of her shit too. Any man who has ever suffered a nagging backseat driver would.

Blogger Mark Stoval March 10, 2019 7:45 AM

The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 said let people come from all parts of the world. Also in the 60s, "let welfare and other freebies and incentives" support any bum who comes here. And that was just the start.

The avalanche of terrible legislation and executive actions has accelerated ever since by both parties.

So now Trump finds himself president of a dying Empire and a totally corrupt central government knowing that we are being invaded. He also knows the deep state and the not-so-deep state wants ever more bums and dummies to come here.

Trump has a daunting task ahead of him. If he finds a way to stem the tide of invasion --- it will be a biblical miracle.

What do do? Pray hard.

Blogger Mandos March 10, 2019 7:50 AM

Or, he genuinely still feels strong enough to counter-signal after she went ballistic on him. It's only a weak attack if we consider Trump is in a position of weakness and can't afford losing such a support as our working hypothesis. If he has a strong hand however, the lecture becomes quite different.

Now it's true, his support appears to be fading and many people including myself are getting very frustrated with the absence of delivery. But the real war is elsewhere and on this front, all signs point towards major developments as the Mueller investigation is about to get wrapped up. Either the Q crew and all the independent researchers - whose views on the next steps have started to remarkably converge over the past few months - are all wrong or misled in their interpretation of the current situation, or we are going to see Trump's cards and subsequent happenings pretty soon.

Blogger VD March 10, 2019 7:50 AM

You're missing the point. Trump is fighting a good conventional fight. But that's not going to be enough and Coulter knows it. She is correct to point out that he is going to lose and he is going to fail if he keeps trying to win a conventional battle. He has to go nuclear in order to win, but he is reluctant to do so because he is trying to salvage his enemies rather than destroy them.

Blogger The Cooler March 10, 2019 7:53 AM

He thought she was in the stable.

There is obviously a lot of go get em for me big daddy *fumbles his balls* Alpha manipulation going on with Coulter, but she is a hot mess in numerous ways and revenge for that on men is a woman's super power, especially for only-an-Alpha-will-do-type women with significant investments.

None of this is to say she's wrong in her observations and criticisms, but she is not helping.

She may or may not be trying to tear the president down presently, but she's sure telegraphing her intent to do so if the man she let her guard down for betrays her expectations any further.

The upside is she can -- and will -- turn again on a positive dime if her expectations, which she is lucid enough to have modified at this point, are sated.

Blogger VD March 10, 2019 7:54 AM

Caveat: he MAY be in the process of preparing to go nuclear, but if he was, I would have expected him to react to Coulter with amused confidence. Something more in the vein of "hold your horses, missy, I've got this."

I don't find his irritated "I'm doing everything I can and we're making progress"-style response to be inspiring myself. As I said, he's genuinely doing a great conventional job in the face of unprecedented resistance. But the circumstances require more.

Point taken Vox, but it's also his usual style with people who cross him. Indeed it comes across as defensive though, and better be backed up by something bigger.

He wants to be a peace time President during a time of war. Coulter, for all her faults, knows in her bones that this is a struggle for the survival of the American people. Trump's enemies also know this, their hatred of the American posterity is now openly displayed and their desire to destroy is unapologetic and proud. The only person who doesn't seem to know is Trump, who's still looking to make deals with people who want him dead.

Anyway let's not give the last rites let alone perform an autopsy on his Presidency. He's a great man who has overcome challenges I could not imagine even attempting. He made a huge mistake with his immigration remarks, he likely knows this and will correct. Enough of the black pilling, let's slaughter our enemies and bathe in their entrails and blood.

Blogger Salt March 10, 2019 8:04 AM

Being the Alpha he is, and as Steve said above, "risking your name, fortune and freedom to be elected President", the G_E just hasn't lost enough yet and losing is not something he's willing to do. He hasn't caught on yet, where at his rallies people still chant "Lock Her Up!".

Coulter acted like a Beta to Trump's Alpha for a long time but now that she feels her Alpha betrayed her in some manner she's turning on him with a lot of ferocity. Is this common Beta behavior? I can't think of a poignant historical example but fiction is filled with examples of the right-hand man killing the leader because he failed to deliver.

Blogger Peaceful Poster March 10, 2019 8:05 AM

Blogger Stilicho March 10, 2019 8:06 AM

I suspect that Trump's personality will lead him to believe that whatever he has done or failed to do by 2020 is the cause of his re-election, so he will strive to follow the exact same course after re-election. Not a disaster, but it will let an historic opportunity go to waste. While disappointed, I will be grateful for the additional time he has given us.

Blogger Salt March 10, 2019 8:14 AM

One problem hamstringing Trump is the same thing that allowed us to be in the situation we are in. Call it Robert's Rules of Order or Checks and Balances, either way he's up against The Swamp Cabal.

Now, what about those thousands of sealed indictments we keep hearing about?

Blogger Mr.MantraMan March 10, 2019 8:24 AM

I've always thought Alphas to be brittle.

It's not Trump it is his cowed base, his supporters are hamstrung by PC so how far can Trump push the envelope before its too far for his base? Not very far and of course it is our fault because we absolutely refuse to discredit and disqualify our enemies and contest the moral level.

Blogger Stilicho March 10, 2019 8:25 AM

It will be interesting to observe the response of his base to this MAGA family feud. Trump has grown accustomed to his base rallying behind him when he is attacked and when he fights back, but those battles have been against known enemies and traitors. Coulter is neither and her popularity is largely due to the same willingness to fight the enemy that has endeared Trump to normal Americans.

Some will close ranks with Trump because he's trying, bless his heart, and they don't want to "join" the enemy in attacking him. Others will be disappointed and start considering other options in 2020, primarily staying home and preparing for a real storm because Trump appears to be playing the typical political game of doing just enough to falsely claim he is fulfilling his campaign promises.

Build the Wall! Court orders and demoncrat resolutions can't stop bulldozers. Make it a fait accompli while the enemy impotently fusses and fumes. Otherwise, lukewarm keeping of his fundamental promise will result in lukewarm support from his base and end up in electoral defeat or impeachment and conviction for some concocted malfeasance. Mitt Romney has already drafted his speech announcing the Senate conviction vote and is just waiting for a chance to deliver it.

The opposition Trump is facing was well documented on some relatively high traffic sites before the election. The assumption many made was that when he was making speeches about existential moments and trillions of dollars, he understood the same reality. He was speaking as a man who grasps the magnitude with the implication that he would respond accordingly. From this frame, things like name-dropping Andrew Jackson is a clear sign of a different level of conflict.

So far, this has not been the case. The reasons matter, but it is easy to see where the black pills come from.

(Not trying to convince HER -- trying to reach her audience!) She HAS a bully pulpit of sorts, and WE can wave metaphorical (but visible) protest signs AT that pulpit and get seen by that 'preacher's' congregation.

I know it wasn't. I have pointed this one out generally on at least two occasions previously. The reduction of a woman to her physical parts, usually referred to in a vulgar manner, for no reason is a reliable indicator of a very low status male.

Basically, it's bitterness towards women revealing itself. I don't know what the motivation for this is, but I have learned that it is a reliable tell. Why don't you explain why it was necessary and relevant for you to bring up the obvious fact that Ann Coulter has a vagina?

Does it just give you a thrill to use the word or something?

@21 No. Although it's interesting that Q blew so much credibility for that shortly before Trump came out and attacked her.

Coulter had the same positions before Trump and hasn't changed them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFBBXepwJdI

Coulter has always maintained after she gets the wall, she'll be the loudest voice for getting Trump on Mount Rushmore, even 2 weeks ago she said: "I'm president of the Trump re-election campaign. Other groups will make bumper stickers & signs, but I'm the only one actually trying to get him re-elected. "

This was in response to this tweet: "Bannon: Ann Coulter is doing a “good job” of holding Trump to his promises
@FaceTheNation"

I miss Bannon, remember when Trump was against importing foreign workers and tried to get the travel ban through as soon as he became president? It's been downhill on immigration since the cabinet became pure swamp, complete with the 180 on legal foreign workers.

"I want people to come into our country in the largest numbers ever, but they have to come in legally" is not the position Ann Coulter supported Trump for.

@34 "hasn't the barrier been expanded along the border? Or is it because Coulter was expecting an Israel style West Bank barrier?"

It very much has been expanded -- not fast enough, but big and beautiful enough, and mostly without doors! An israeli-style border will NOT work for us, because "we" are not willing to SHOOT invaders who try to cross. If we ever/just once did the A10 Warthog thing to clear off an invading division / company, then perhaps our border wall could look more like the israeli one, with the 30' solid cement wall and gun towers every so often... "We" won't do that, so we can't have that.

"What @AnnCoulter doesn't want you to know is that she's a mercenary; not a principled conservative. (most conservatives principles are money)

Why did she famously endorse Trump on Bill Maher all those years ago? Anyone ever ask that?

It's because the Clintons paid her to do so.

Recall the leaked Clinton Campaign strategy doc. They wanted "pied piper" candidates. There are MANY articles on this, but here's one as an example: https://www.salon.com/2016/11/09/the-hillary-clint...

So the next natural question is: How do the Clintons "elevate" certain candidates over others?

By bribing "trusted" and "established" "conservative" voices to shill for them.

The Clinton campaign never expected it to backfire.

And now Coulter has "turned" on Trump, proclaiming his many "failures" in recent months, all because a certain senator from Utah is now paying her to do so, because he's terrified of Trump and what he knows about him and his family...

This political game is sick, and it's all done to make sure the citizenry is kept hostage by the "monoparty."

Everyone on the right should be furious at Ann right now, but she needs to be exposed, first, for that to happen."

The above two graphs by our host are a gut-punch, if you think about it long enough. Reminiscent of believing Trump and Sessions were putting on fantastic theater while secretly working behind the scenes to jail the pedophilic swamp-rats. Then after this last election you read the headline that Trump has fired Sessions and there never was any kayfabe…just an honest (presumably) lawyer who still believed in the system making a terrible mistake, and a President who let that mistake-maker hold onto his job for two years.
.
Can Trump be assessing his risk is with the Senate, versus the people? If he loses us, the Senate will vote to remove (House will impeach, anyone can see this is coming). If he gets to 60% popularity from building a wall, he’s safe from the Romneyites.

But he has started talking it down from a "big, beautiful wall" to an inferior barrier. And he's started talking up legal immigration. Not to mention the abandonment of the birthright citizenship EO, the ignoring of violence against Trump supporters while barely defending the Covington Catholic kids, all the based black-isms, a literal globo homo plan, etc.

I still like Trump and he's preferable to any Democrat. But honestly, I think he's decided to play the moderate in the coming election. And if he doesn't course-correct, he'll suffer for it.

@35 "Bunch of your bros around? Sure, let it rip. We can parse. Otherwise the old laws about cursing around women and children are relevant."

(Bit of solipcism? But an example:) back when I was in the Navy, my sailors (ALL sailors) swore ... you know, "like a sailor" around me. I mostly didn't notice, it was "normal." My chiefs came to me and said it was inappropriate for enlisted to swear in front of officers (and I believe they meant female officers, but don't know for sure). (It USED to be around all officers... lo how the society had fallen...)

"But chiefs, *I* also swear! I can't say to the sailors: I can swear but you can't."
(Granted, my swearing was minimal, and only "d" and rarely "sh"... never anything rougher.)

So, the chiefs and I compromised that "f" was off limits around me. I had NOT been sensitive to it, because it was common, but subsequently, I had to cast a look or make a disapproving noise when one of the sailors did say "f" -- the rules don't necessarily have to make sense, they DO have to be enforced. (And pretty quickly, everyone settled into it.)

But, through the "training period," I became sensitive to hearing "f" (because I had to respond to it) and, eventually, even when I was elsewhere, I got a slight recoil when someone said it in front of me.

That recoil has maintained (been out of the Navy for 30-some years!), which is one reason I find Owen a bit difficult to watch. I also wonder, a bit disapprovingly, about what he is teaching his SONS about how to speak in front of their mother.

I equate the casual careless use of (pretty brutal) swearing, esp. "f," EVERYwhere, by so many men (and too many women) with the destruction of social more's by commies and their kin everywhere! (White "politeness" has been destroyed -- I support Vox on returning the blasphemy laws: the degradation and coarsening of our EVERY social pattern has been intentional -- and way too effective!

When China 'won' the Olympics, they had to have a massive "re-education" of city dwellers that the REST of the world found all their hawking and spitting everywhere was disgusting... To pretend they 'participated in civilization,' they had to teach the Chinese not to do it, before the world came to watch!

What Coulter and her ilk cannot seem to understand is that you cannot just snap your finger and build a damn wall. I know it, most normal people know that but she seems to not understand that concept. You cannot bitch about Obama and his executive orders and ignore the law only to tell Trump to do it, cannot do it and then call yourself a democratic Republic. The system is not working like it should, it is obviously broken and I do not know if we can come back from this or not. Trump is doing good IMO and should just keep chipping away at it and maybe in 2020 he can carry some more of his Republicans into Congress. Who knows.

Re Neon Revolt's take @54: Pied Piper is why all the lefty media (Joe and Mika types) were fawning over Trump in the primary. Meanwhile Trump got an advanced copy of Adios America and based his immigration policy on it.

That Clinton money was pretty bad if the goal was to get '"trusted" and "established"' conservatives on the Trump train. The NeverTrump rats that are now Trump cheerleaders demonstrate how easily bribed they'd have been.

"And now Coulter has "turned" on Trump, proclaiming his many "failures" in recent months, all because a certain senator from Utah is now paying her to do so, because he's terrified of Trump and what he knows about him and his family..."

Coulter has position, man aligns with her position, she cheerleads for man, man doesn't follow through and does 180 on "legal immigration" and Coulter no longer cheerleads for man.

Rommney isn't even scared of Trump. Rommney begs Trump for endorsement for President, gets endorsement. Trump runs, Romney tries to burn Trump. Trump wins. Romney begs for job/endorsement for senator. Gets job offer which is later rescinded and gets senate endorsement. Romney wins senate seat and becomes John McCain v2, will vote with dems as McCain did on the healthcare bill and other things.

Those are not the actions of a scared man. He gets exactly what he wants from Trump, he walks all over Trump. No matter how many times he spits on Trump, Trump continues to give him whatever he wants.

"Everyone on the right should be furious at Ann right now"

Everyone on the right should be furious at Neon Revolt now, I was taken in by him but now I declare Jihad because one of my income streams demands it.

It would be easier to credit Trump for doing his best and trying to build the wall in the face of extraordinary circumstance if he wasn't talking about bringing in more people. What good is the wall if we are going to just forthrightly bring people who don't belong in the country? What good is a smoking hot economy if all the jobs are going to go to non-Americans anyway? Whom does the economy serve?

This isn't a one time off-the-cuff saying. He has now straightforwardly said five times (I believe) that he wants to bring in the most people ever for employers. This is how you roll out a policy change. And it's not just Ann Coulter who has noticed. Lou Dobbs' faith is wavering. The energy on /pol/ is totally gone. I understand that there are people who believe Q in here, but people's faith and trust is not an unlimited resource; the longer it drags on with no actual real world results other than "0 delta tweets!" the stupider people are made to look.

I still support Donald Trump, and wish him well and he still is the best choice in 2020, but the idea that he is going to actually drain the swamp seems ludicrous to me. The time to do it was in January 2017 when he was already being called Hitler regardless. He used a lot of his capital on tax cuts, prison reform, a failed Obamacare replacement, and now he is even in "100% agreement" that we have to maintain a presence in Syria, presumably forever. This is all terribly disappointing; Ann isn't wrong.

Blogger tz March 10, 2019 10:46 AM

No, it was the Flight 193 election, but a better analogy was the 4th quarter of a football game where the last quarters were huge losses, a few gains, more huge losses, and the score is 25-75. So we changed quarterbacks, and we have lots of GOALS, but that isn't a win. The other team is cheating, the refs are ignoring it and our team is undermining the resented QB. The score is 60-80, but the other team just got a stronger defense on the left, and we are at the wrong end of the field.

Scoring goals isn't winning. You need to score more by the time the game is over.

Meanwhile, Trump's tweet contra-Ann was stupid.

Tens of thousands of illegals are being apprehended (captured) at the Border and NOT allowed into our Country. With another President, millions would be pouring in. I am stopping an invasion as the Wall gets built

If they are being captured, the have ALREADY BEEN ALLOWED IN, are going to be on US soil, often have to go to our ERs or otherwise use our resources - who is feeding the while they're captured, and what about "must release if they have a kid", so it is capture and release anyway, again, how is this "NOT being allowed into our country".

And it is an emergency, but they need to stop the flow, and send them all back - including to Guatemala which apparently we can't do if they say "police threatened, want asylum". The emergency to move a few billion around? Will the SeaBees and Army Corps of Engineers start building the wall this week? If not the Emergency is worse than irrelevant.

Also we are capturing them because they are coming through the non-existent wall. So if we have the wall started sometime late this year, will it help? When he didn't veto that CR a year ago (thanks Paul Ryan), he lost. When he gave into Pelosi and Schumer now, he lost.

Can't we send them all to Puerto Rico, or even GITMO, or somewhere "not on US soil" while they are being processed? Or make a deal with Cuba.

Meanwhile sitting between Tim Cook and the Commerce Chamber head, he said we need more Legal Immigrants to take US Jobs. "Learn to code", then you could lose that job to an H1-B Indian outsourcing company.

Also sitting there was Veruca Salt, oh, I mean Ivanka Kushner. "Daddy, I want a Squirrelly policy". "Whatever you want, dear". Yes, the Alpha is listening to a woman, but "he went to Jared". That is why Trump is going down the tubes.

Will the good judges matter if by 2020 between the illegals and "vote harvesting" (I wondered how Gianforte won but Tester lost Montana) the country will be permanently blue, with democrats doing the gerrymandering and the cucks not challenging.

If the Democrats collude with the Republicans to remove Trump from office, and we get another round of amnesty, at some point you may as well take the $ and focus on where you wanna live when the country splits apart.

This time of year I routinely see those $9,000-$10,000 EIC checks going out. I also see how they're spent. I'll snap out of it at some point, but it is rather depressing. It's one thing to look at the rot as a statistic; it's another to see up close, 6 days a week, the sorry anecdotes that aggregate to the statistic.

"Imagine being President Donald J. Trump."

I have imagined how it being in his shoes must feel. One of the first things I told my family when he was elected was that when he took office he was going to be completely surrounded. Sort of how I feel in my daily life. I live in the Midwest, and I live amongst foreigners. It turns out while President Trump was able to say the words, doesn't really understand the feeling that we are being invaded, and like most white elites, doesn't feel that we are his people, or else he would have more urgency in reversing the invasion. So I guess he deserves a great big golf clap for doing a conventionally good job for a civnat. Which is appropriate, considering he is the new golfer in chief. It is kind of hard not to be bitter considering the actual state of my country.

It doesn't matter if you've captured both of the other player's rooks and queens, you can still be check-mated.

I was patient for the first year. The second year was the usual "we can't get it through now, so we'll put it off until later. And later. And later. Oh, please don't shut the goverment down for Christmas. We cheered and told him to keep it shut until he had the wall funded.

That Central Park Skating Rink from Art of the Deal was built, quickly, under budget. The Wall was the equivalent. It is as if he is still bringing in copper tubing (instead of rubber) which keeps getting stolen, so no progress.

(I will also note Obamacare is still there but is gutted; DACA (!) is still there - the States paused their suit because they thought Trump would resolve it).

And worse, all those "agreements" and injunctions say we must release them soon after catching them. We can't even keep them in FEMA camps or something. We are capturing them, spending tens of thousands on medical treatment, etc., then releasing them. THAT IS WHAT IS HAPPENING.

I forgot TPS has also been extended until 2020 as well as DACA still being in effect

"Temporary" Protected Status is entirely an executive branch decision (though judges will block).

DACA was supposed to be ended, one way or another last year.

Trump talked about limiting legal immigration so we don't have the lottery or 2nd cousin twice removed "chain migration".

I would probably be more patient on the wall if the H1-B abuse was ended, with the "bring your spouse to have an anchor baby" visas, the H2-B and rest were limited, Chain and Lottery migration ended, and a handful of DACA people allowed (clean records), and the rest sent back. And sending "refugees" and "asylees" back.

I think there has only been a few token victories on the non-wall non-illegal immigration problems, and in many ways it has gotten worse.

Judges, excellent.

No-win quagmires - we can't even get out of Syria. Afghanistan is "one more surge". More delay.

Obamacare is gutted, but still there.

Taxes and Tariffs and Trade is very good. Add regulations were many places excellent.

Swamp - is ANY part drained? Where is the Clinton special prosecutor? Oh, he is there but has done nothing, talked to no one for 9 months (Haas?).

Immigration? Record illegals - more under Trump. More released. Mixed if anything on legal immigration.

And no one was chanting "Constructionist Judges", or "China Tariffs", "Out of NAFTA". They were chanting LockHerUp, BuildTheWall, and DrainTheSwamp.

Honey, I know you will appreciate the new vacuum cleaner for Valentine's day instead of a romantic dinner...

Or do we give it the old college-try, pray like Hell is arriving (cause: duh) and TRY to stop the bleeding? (To MASSIVELY mix metaphors.)

Someone upthread mentioned replying to Ann in support, perhaps with @trump in it. I think that's a good idea because it motivates Ann by letting her know she has back up. I seem to remember reading in Goodall how the male chimps rallied around females in distress faster if there were more hollers coming from the females in distress. To be clear that means that higher status females get more protection. I'm thinking of how Gilka was left alone with her two daughters to defend against a cannibal mother and daughter. No one helped Gilka because she was lower status. Her infant was killed and eaten.

How is burning the ship to keep the Officers - not the Crew - from mutiny any kind of victory?

We wanted Trump to drain the swamp. The Swamp is draining Trump.

Promises made, promises delayed and may or may not be kept, but it will be after it would do anything good.

At this point it is like giving a pardon after someone has already died after serving life in prison.

If he doesn't want to fight or can't do Immigration, he needs a really big victory for the base elsewhere. Again, DACA, TPS, H1-B would make me forget about the delays in the wall. Trump has a tremendous wave that he can ride to re-election. But he has chosen to soften up his rhetoric for whatever reason. It was great when he took on the NFL kneelers and won.

He went from "joke candidate" to President-elect in 17 months from June 2015-November 2016. He currently has 20 months to make the case for re-election. He can do it. But not with the current strategy. And I don't think he'll make that course-correction if we pretend everything's great as it is.

I’m glad that Trulp lashed back. Coulter needs to learn there are ways to voice dissenting opinions without sounding like an outrageous, over-the-top, emasculating nag.

I remember once Coulter said that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote and the West would be better off if women couldn’t vote. Of course, she was quite right. However, Coulter herself is becoming proof that women do not belong in politics at all. On a biological level women just don’t understand comraderie. As soon as “Their side” is performing in a disappointing manner they either flip sides, or in Coulter’s case, become the most virulent critics. Her tweets are classic man-shaming techniques and they have no place in serious public discourse. And Coulter is wayyyy past the age where her shaming could be effective on an Alpha. She needed to be put in her place.

If she or (any anonymous poster here) thinks that they could do better, then by all means run for office against all of the opposition and build the damn wall yourself. Until then, sit down and close your mouth.

I have hope, but the only thing worse than #NeverTrump is #AlwaysTrump.

If Trump is cheered even though he is turning into a Jeb! (please clap) on immigration, why should he stop? Sell out, and be celebrated as the Best President Ever by CNN AND Fox?

Dear Trump: We have your back until you stab us in ours.

I have hope in no man. I hope in God alone. And all things are possible.

Trump has to realize that we didn't vote for him because he's Trump, we hired an Alpha to lead us to victory, as WE define it, not to preside over another quagmire of slow leftward drift from moderation and compromise.

Even he says Paul Ryan betrayed him (even Sessions with his recusal). Yet now he seems to want to get applause from the Swamp, not his base.

It isn't into betrayal territory yet, and I know Trump is a master of deals and subtlety, but we can all see the scoreboard, both the points on each side and time left.

At this point Trump himself has to decide. Wall or no wall. No more fog or squid ink or excuses or delays. I will add all the foreign quagmires (who among his base wants to invade Venezuela?). Should we still have been in Vietnam instead of declaring victory and going home?

This is America and he is President, not the Apprentice where he is a TV star. It is a critical time (see the 4th turning). If you don't put out the fire on the lower floor, the building will collapse. It probably will collapse anyway, but the base is watching the fire and the lack of extinguishers.

I think Trump is lashing out because Coulter was one of his first supporters. She's not some NeverTrump quisling, but part of his core.

And it's a core that is increasingly dissatisfied with his performance. Trump is politically vulnerable - not from his left, but from his right. If I could raise $100 million for a primary challenge, I'm confident I could take him out...mostly by promising to implement the platform Trump ran on in 2016.

But if you think about it, what we've seen actually delivered is not much better than what Jeb Bush would have come up with. No wall, no ejection of illegals, more importation of legal immigrants, and not one single corrupt Dem facing even charges...despite a brazen attempt to overthrow the Government of the United States.

Yes, we got a small tax cut. And real regulation cuts, the one area where Trump really delivered. Some good judges. Better trade deals. But those are all what any Republican President would deliver. An extraordinary President is supposed to do extraordinary things.

Hell, maybe I should start organizing a campaign...

Too many on the Right have this American Maquis fantasy about waging guerilla warfare against a tyrannical government. Except that this very, very rarely works. Insurgent forces are useful as an aid to regular troops, but you need regulars to win.

And you need political legitimacy. The Founding Fathers were the legitimately appointed representatives of the colonial governments. The Confederate leaders were the elected representatives of the legitimate State governments.

To put it bluntly, the time for some serious head-cracking may well have been 2017. And now would not be a bad time, either. But only Trump has the authority to start the dance.

I think the thing he is really trying to avoid is actual military response to the issue; probably because "that's tyranny!" despite it being explicitly authorized (and a non-optional obligation) by the Constitution to repel invasion.

For a while I thought the rush by all the bit-player Democrats without a chance in hell of prevailing in the primary (Klobuchar) was just them adding "former Presidential candidate" to the chyrons running under their name on #FAKENEWS as a way appearing more formidable in their their future non-Presidential efforts and more important in selling books.

Now I think it is that they are sensing that there is a-to borrow a phrase-a vast left wing conspiracy of electoral fraud being assembled. Talking about having illegals or sixteen year olds vote is a dog whistle for the types of fraud they are seeking.

In my state, Pennsylvania out of 6,115,402 votes cast nationwide, there were 5,407,771 cast outside of Philadelphia County, where 707,631 were manufactured. (given that in 2016, there were more than 100,000 more votes cast with Clinton than Obama in either 2008 or 2012, it's not hard to smell a rat).

Statewide, Trump won by 44,292 votes. However he won outside of Philadelphia (including the six other counties he lost) handily by 519,569. He lost Philadelphia by 475,277 votes.

If Trump's base is crumbling, PA (which has been trending Dem) will swing. That's a 40 vote swing in the EC.

I am concerned.

>I think Trump is lashing out because Coulter was one of his first supporters.

I think that's plausible but if it's true it means that Trump is incompetent. Let me explain why.

I don't know if I've ever met an alpha who appreciates public criticism let alone from a female. It tends to signal to other high market value males that they need to council the female and the criticized alpha, wasting time on smoothing the frayed edges. It also shakes loose the gammas who are waiting in the wings to make a dig at the female or the alpha I.E. it shakes up the hierarchy. So when other high market males move in to council the female and alpha they are creating barriers to gammas ascending the ranks. I've seen this play out at school, at work, at punk shows.

If the criticizing female is low status her complaints are ignored and she is often ostracized. She doesn't present an opportunity to protect the tribe or move up the ranks. Clearly Ann is high status because she's not being ignored.

Trump is acting childish in calling Ann crazy. That never works on females crazy or not. It just motivates them more on whatever path they've chosen. Believe it or not women plan ahead when they set out to act like Ann is acting. She no doubt accounted for the possibility of being called crazy.

Vox noted above that alphas are extremely sensitive to disturbances in their support. That means they already know and can perceive fallout. Private criticism tends to work better for alphas. It saves a lot of time.

But Ann isn't criticizing Trump. She's hollering that invaders are in American territory. She won't stop until they're stopped. She's criticizing the invaders!

If Trump were willing to go nuclear, he could have locked up Hillary for exposing classified material before the end of January 2017. He had publically documented violations of law, scads of evidence, a slam-dunk for any fresh-out-of-law-school prosecutor. He could have done hundreds of things that would have damaged the ruling class.

Instead, he has kept the indictments sealed, he has avoided every possible kill shot, he has done his best to keep the Uniparty united, he has above all preserved the ruling class. Trump's goal is to keep the Left and the globohomos from destroying America, which could be a very profitable property for decades to come. So, he's trying to rein in the crazies on the Left, and trying to bring back the good old days when the citizens of empire worked together quietly and profitably for their rulers.

Trump absolutely won't do any more than the bare minimum required to bring the ruling class to heel, and I think he'd rather lose than unseat his fellows in the ruling class. Evidence of their treason stays classified, sealed indictments of the ruling class stay sealed, any eventual prosecutions of underlings never bring down those at the top.

@98: Fraud is also one of my great worries. Pat Caddell said during the 2016 campaign that the Dems count on a 2-4% margin of fraud.

That number may be low. But even a 4% margin of fraud is enough to shift the outcome of many races. If you factor in a 4% correction to the 2018 results, the GOP has 54 or more Senators - enough to have REAL control of the Senate. And Pelosi's margin of control in the House is paper-thin.

I'll tell you the real reason white millennials and older Gen Z are floating this. It's because they've lost faith in Trump, who champions every demographic except for the one that voted for him, and they realize that both parties are virulently anti-white.

Yang in one tweet has shown more compassion towards their demographic than any politician in years, regardless of his reasons for doing so, and it resonates. On top of that, these kids realize that the US is already a socialist country, and has been for some time, except that whites are the only people who don't benefit from it, so they might as well start fighting over the spoils of the state with other ethnicities, as is inevitable in a multi-cult empire. Even the hard core 2nd Amendment supporters amongst these demos have lost, or are losing faith with Repubs, after the NFA expansion and the announcement that Senate Rs will start debating federal red flag gun laws on March 26th.

Coulter has always been a drama-queen, but that's what women tend to be. VD's point basically stands intact regardless of Coulter's hysterics. Trump is the best that could be expected in the circumstances. You cannot fix a corpse, however, so it's not very reasonable to expect a resurrection. Not only is he relentlessly opposed by the D-jerseys, but also the entire GOP establishment from (((Uncle Sheldon))) down to your local Chamber of Commerce cuck and his Evangelicuck Pastor-Rick wannabe on Sundays. To make matters worse, the Orange Man is seriously blinded by his own boomer civic-nationalism and notions of being able to deal in a business-like negotiations with rabid genocidal ideologues and deep-state criminals. To folks like these, negotiation is seen as a sign of weakness. This is war, not a damned real-estate deal.

Here is VD's key point restated (for any who might have missed it):

But he is betrayed by his own preference for negotiated settlements and expectations of rational behavior on the part of his opponents, and by his own civic nationalism. Unless he is willing to declare no-quarter, go scorched earth on the issue, and actually behave as if he is facing a genuine national emergency of existential proportions - which he legitimately is, whether he is able to grasp that or not - he is going to fail on all three of the primary issues upon which he was elected.

Not only is an invasion force pouring across a mostly open border. Trump has willingly signed legislation to fund the swamp seeking the destruction of not only the country but his own administration instead of using the veto pen and shutting the government down as long as needed. The (((dual-citizen))) USAF general who recently re-stated Casey's diversity doctrine still has his job while the Marine colonel who said "faggot" was relieved of command. Pompeo's State Department continues to promote globohomo worldwide - especially to places like Poland and Hungary who are trying to resist it. Who's the cammander-in-chief here? Jared Kushner??

Democrats carried out massive vote fraud with non-citizen voting and not a damned thing is done about it. At Kushner's urging (command?), he signed a get-out-of-jail free bill for violent felons in order to convince dindus to vote R-jersey bnecause DR3 - which has been such a tremendously successful GOP strategy for four decades running now. Trump seems to be oblivious that all of the swamp-dwellers he appoints to drain the swamp will not be doing so since all come from the SES (Soros Employment Service), run by the one who gives them orders. AG William Barr is cast from the same fetid muck-mold that Robert Mueller is. He even did pro-bono legal work for Lon Horiuchi to ensure the FBI assassin-thug faced no justice for his first-degree murder of a woman holding an infant.

If Trump does nothing about the massive vote-fraud carried out by the Dems nation-wide, there will be no Trumpslide in 2020. We can look forward to whoever is selected by the deep-state to carry out the final solution for YT. Importing a few million more foreigners (85% of whom will vote for the D-jerseys) because his Satanist son-in-law and similar "advisors" think it's good for the economy will only guarantee his defeat. Trump cannot comprehend this - and that is the biggest problem he has.

I love a good salesman and I enjoy watching them work (when they do) and as my Dad explained, nobody is a bigger sucker for a salesman than another salesman. It is a fine art form and Donald Trump is one of the better salesman and he has proven it for more than 50 years.

Salesmen are so good at what they do, sometimes the personnel gods think they can do anything. They are executive material and can go anywhere and do anything, because they can perform magic and cast spells.

Normally this works out well and in other cases, it becomes a disaster. You should never put a salesman in charge of the Credit Department. You should never put a salesman in charge of Quality Assurance. You should never let a salesman acquire land for the firm....or buy a fleet of cars/trucks. You should never let a salesman be in charge of employee training....or the Service Department. Why? Because they so desperately want to make a sale, a deal, break ground, get attention.

How can you harness the talent of salesmen, without going broke? Put them on commission, but you must be clever enough to make the commission in terms of profit and not in terms of deals or revenue. Salesmen love to sell and they love to see activity flow and dollar bills change hands. All of which is wonderful as long as they do not spend you into oblivion. Keep the salesmen in the Sales Department and focus them on making good deals, that profit the firm.

Second, did he expect other patriots to rally to him? Like, governors, mayors, sheriffs? State legislatures? Because every time he makes any position at all, the opposition goes nuts. He kisses babies and says pro-life things, and then how many state legislatures pass bills to kill babies moments after birth? He says "they have to go back" and entire states go rogue. Entire cities prefer their sanctuary status more than being law-abiding, or even protecting their own law-abiding citizens.

I mean, we sent four Muslimas to Congress this year. That's not really showing a seriousness of purpose on the part of regular Americans. Ms Pelosi and Ms Waters got re-elected with huge margins. This isn't savvy politicking. It's posturing.

Republican whites are already voting to get more money. Immigration, outsourcing, trade and taxes are significant voting issues for them because if addressed, it would mean whites get to make more money and keep more of it.

The establishment doesn't care if you abandon the Republicans to vote for more gibs. Firstly, the gibs largely come out of the pockets of whites. Secondly, are the gibs even going to be enough? If you are abandoning immigration, trade, etc as issues, whites will either lose their jobs or have to work for slave wages. In exchange for what? $1000 a month of UBI/NEETbux? You are embracing a lower quality of life. It gets worse once you realize that supply-and-demand dictates that the price of everything you want to buy will also go way up. Meaning you might end up with LESS stuff than you have now.

And then what? How do you build on this? You'll vote for more NEETbux? The establishment isn't gonna give you any more than it can afford. Which isn't very much. Any efforts to get more NEETbux will be cucked like the Wall. What will you do then? Do a violent revolt? Why don't you do that now? You don't need to live through NEETbux poverty first to do that.

Finally and most importantly, how would thing go any differently if the #YangGang decided to just shut up and sit out all elections? Whether you do the "savvy" memeing or don't, you're gonna get poverty and controlled decline.

Americans aren't actually starving to death like Venezuelans. Nationalists are fighting for prosperity. The establishment wants to give us poverty. And the #YangGang wants to give us poverty while pretending they're actually making a choice.

The Martial Law option is there for Trump and is justifiable under the current conditions of being invaded with the full, and open support of traitors in government. On the bright side, if some cuck like bernie gets in after 2020, US empire defense spending will likely be cut drastically and troops might start getting pulled out of Europe. As long as there are american troops stationed everywhere in Europe, Muslims are there to stay.

I hate that it is true, but (at least American two party) politics is all about grabbing the middle. In the last presidential election, Democrats successfully painted Trump a "literally Hitler" and the left bought it and about half the middle worried about it and held their noses to vote for Hillary. (Thus Trump arguably lost the popular vote, with the help of illegal voting.)

Trump is very successfully destroying the "literally Hitler" meme by showing he will compromise to liberal courts, a crazy Democratic house, and the cucks in his own party. This will shift the middle strongly to his side and he will win the popular vote this time. After that will be the real test of his policies. Winning in 2020 is everything. Anything he does now can be wiped away overnight by the left.

Coulter is road kill on his way to victory. She's been painted, unfairly or not, as an extremist in the media, and Trump targeting her makes himself look more mainstream. Likewise, if he only gets half the wall built, it looks like he's trying but not a dictator. Half a wall will clearly win votes against Democrats who want to tear it down.

While it might be fun to imagine an iron handed conservative who just activated the military and declared martial law to force his will upon the public, Trump was never that and never will be that. He is not a savior, he is a businessman and brilliant politician.

Politics sucks, but it's the correct play.

"This isn't savvy politicking. It's posturing."

It's both. Trump has betrayed his under-40 base on every issue they care about. They aren't interested in his weakness and whining anymore, as he lets judges push him around, turns the Oval Office into the US' newest Holocaust memorial, and launches World War H, while supporting mass immigration to take the few jobs they still have, and sitting back and watching while they get purged from all social media.

Trump's actions the past few months are incredibly embarrassing to these people. They don't give two shits about the few issues he's given to the BoomerCon portion of the base.

This is the portion of the base that has had all of his campaign energy. They are all hardcore nationalists, more so than any other Republican demographic. Their meming isn't about abandoning nationalism. They're fighting in the only way they have left.

These aren't "Alt-Reichers" or "Fake Nationalists" - these are the strongest nationalists in the US. The Republican party has fully abandoned them at this point, and they know exactly what they're doing by tossing meme energy at Yang right now.

This is the kind of meme being produced about Trump now, from the same demographic that dominated the internet on his behalf in 2016: https://i.ibb.co/NKv1YcN/15522493263863257693112446616727.png

They know Yang's policies aren't viable economically. That's completely irrelevant. You are the one who doesn't understand where they're coming from. Yelling about socialism and Venezuela doesn't mean anything. That's a Boomer meme. It's low energy, like Trump right now.

"The lash out exudes weakness. It is absolutely catastrophic for memetic energy. The online right hasn't just turned on him, they are beginning to hate him. Precisely. You understand what's going on right now in the under-40 crowd that fervently supported Trump from 2015 up until the aftermath of the mid-terms last year. Trump's statements are turning into a cringe compilation, the disgust is becoming reflexive.

For two years, Trump and the Republicans have watched as these people get purged from the internet, beaten with impunity in the streets by Marxists, and disemployed, while being pushed further than ever from the levers of power. With the political savvy they have, they could work wonders in the public sphere, if the Republicans hadn't totally betrayed them. As it is, they're doing what they can with the limited resources they have left.

Yeah. 2 days before the election Trump was blustering on twitter about how any indication of voter fraud would be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Then we spent a week watching Dem voter fraud openly manufacture tens of thousands of votes in FL, GA, AZ, CA, and elsewhere. And not a single thing was done.

40,000 votes were openly illegally counted post-election in Broward and Palm Beach counties here in FL. Nothing happened. Nobody enforced our voting laws. It almost stole our governorship and senate seat, and it DID steal our Agricultural Commissioner seat. Yang in one tweet has shown more compassion towards their demographic than any politician in years, regardless of his reasons for doing so, and it resonates.

Yang: Deaths now outnumber births among white people...

On top of that, these kids realize that the US is already a socialist country, and has been for some time, except that whites are the only people who don't benefit from it, so they might as well start fighting over the spoils of the state with other ethnicities, as is inevitable in a multi-cult empire.

@96 - You might not "win" with only 4GW forces, but you can create a draw. How many "regulars" did the opposition in Iraq have? Or in Afghanistan? Or now Yemen? Then there's Syria. Or Mexico - the Cartels are 4GW entities.

An EMP would take a month for the major death to begin. 4GW monkeywrenching (I forgot which blog posted a discussion with a half dozen retired Seals about Chicago) would do so in a week and leave the infrastructure intact. Even better, Lot and his daughters would have time and the ability to leave.

You don't know how wide open the wide open spaces are. And how many can retreat there and live off the land.

Also, because since the War between the States, it hasn't happened on US Soil. Everything is vulnerable, and one powerful rifle can take out a transformer that will take a year to replace.

Remember part of the problem is the length of our baggage trains - supply lines - and the "efficiency" of "Just in Time". Before Grocery Stores had large back rooms with a week or so backlog and only produce and meats and such were fresh. Now the first swarm of locusts leaves the shelves empty.

In the Prelude to Axanar, it mentions an Andorian bromide: Don't push the pink skins onto the thin ice.

(multiple) - Voter Fraud would be another thing to investigate. You forgot California and Montana with Voter Harvesting.

@109 - That is easy and I'll include Mexico

If you have a plan for how the US's workforce can improve it's productivity to compete with the 500M highly productive workers China has and all the infrastructure the back-stabbers allowed to be relocated to China you should speak up and reveal it.

End all EPA and OSHA and EEOC regulations and give employers immunity from civil suits. So they can dump toxic waste into the air and waters, ignore all safety, so what if a worker is maimed or injured, they don't even have to pay for insurance. And force anyone with a SNAP card to work.

This would reduce the number of refugees here rather quickly and there would be no advantage to hiring illegals.

You also need to learn basic economics. Capital makes labor more productive. But it has its limits. US Citizens may be 20x more productive, but Chinese and Mexicans are willing to work for 40x less. Just like the 8th graders here can beat H1-Bs in coding, but they aren't "indentured" by their status and generally don't want to sleep 8 to a room except for a pajama party.

The Chinese were no less productive in the 1930s. That didn't stop Japan or the rape of Nan King.

Hitler's problem was bad strategy and leadership - if he merely left the USSR alone until after settling western front he would have likely won. You forget that we were "over here" producing military gear. They were being bombed and it wasn't as if they lost quickly or at low cost.

Even now China's ghost cities are crumbling because their "nibbling" culture insures a certain amount of shoddy products. Bunnie Huang has a lecture on the supply chain where he noted someone burned "engineering sample" marks from FPGAs causing a 3% failure rate that disappeared - but someone doubled their margins.

Mexico will be interesting if it goes Venezuela (also has problems with oil/Pemex). Factories need electricity, not just disposable (human) worker drones.

Blogger tz March 10, 2019 8:48 PM

@109 - there are two other things wrong than your question.

First it assumes productivity is everything. Zman's podcast this week includes it - "the economy isn't everything".

If they are less productive, but can afford to raise a family on just a man's wages, isn't it better than living paycheck to paycheck but getting cheap stuff from China?

No, we should have local owners of local factories and mainstreet shops. More expensive than Wal-Mart, but they support the local high-school football team, the various parades, and the money doesn't get siphoned off to the Bain Capitalists, but circulates several times through the community.

Also Tom Woods made the same mistake in the Church and the Market - Distributism is NOT more efficient, but it is both more moral and eucivic.

Talib calls it "skin in the game". If you have a small side business, or OWN property even to do a little farm-gardening or raise livestock, or do crafts or anything, you have a very different view than if you just work for wages. Regulation hits you directly. So do taxes.

Thomas Sowell has a new book and he notes the problem with Idi Amin in Uganda is that he sent the Middle Class Asians out of the country.

If you wish to have any kind of country that looks like America, and its spirit and dream, you need it to be majority middle class.

An American Middle Class can't compete when Wall Street buys up locally owned businesses to strip-mine the profits, or Wal-Mart moves in to kill the local shops. They also can't compete with China under the tilted playing field.

But do you wish to live in what will become a Venezualian Dystopia, or return to something not unlike 1960 USA minus the problems?

They got to the moon without the technology that powers our smartphones. We can't even go back if we wanted to today.

I think there has only been a few token victories on the non-wall non-illegal immigration problems, and in many ways it has gotten worse.

Biggest ones I can think on immigration are:
1. Mandatory wait in Mexico for evaluation for those presenting at the border with "asylum" claims, and
2. Major cuts in the refugee resettlement program.

Both pretty much entirely due to Sessions and righteous Jew Stephen Miller... and both entirely nullified by the implementation of the "bring a kid and sneak across the border, then turn yourself in and make your 'asylum' claim and we'll let you go" policy.
