The rumors last week were correct. Julian Assange has been expelled from the Ecuadorian embassy and arrested by the UK police:
Julian Assange has been arrested by British police today after Ecuador withdrew his political asylum seven years after he was given refuge by the country. The Wikileaks founder was dragged out of the Ecuadorian Embassy in handcuffs by a large group of seven Metropolitan Police officers as stunned supporters and protesters watched on in central London.Obviously Ecuador has the right to expel anyone it wants from its embassy. But why now? And what UK law has Assange violated to justify his arrest?
He is currently in police custody and is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court 'as soon as possible'.
Ecuador's president Lenin Moreno said the decision to withdraw Assange's asylum status came after the 'repeated violations to international conventions and daily-life protocols' and his 'discourteous and aggressive behaviour'. Moreno added that he had asked Britain to guarantee that Assange would not be extradited to a country where he could face torture or the death penalty.
Moments after the arrest, during which Assange held on to a Gore Vidal book on the history of the national security state, WikiLeaks said Ecuador had acted illegally and 'in violation of international law'. Assange, 47, has not left Ecuador's diplomatic soil for seven years amid fears he would be arrested and extradited for publishing thousands of classified military and diplomatic cables.

I guess they think they've neutralized the dead man's switch that Assange has been assumed to have been holding. If he entrusted a few trusted people with an encryption key linked to a torrent file to be released in the event of his arrest and those people have been rounded up? Who knows, we'll find out shortly.
Prison will probably be nicer than the Ecuador embassy. He'll be able to go outside, at least for limited periods, and get some sun for the first time in 7 years.

I'd like to know why Assange should be arrested for committing journalism while the staffs of CNN, NYT, DailyBeast, WaPo etc shouldn't. At least he didn't knowingly and maliciously leak classified misinformation as part of a treasonous defamation campaign for purposes of enacting a coup against duly-elected sitting President.
This has been coming for some time and since that time is here it might be curiously to Assange's benefit, if he's extradited to the US, given the spotlight currently on the DOJ, its recent history, and Trump's pursuit of the Swamp. The UK foreign minister says he's no hero. He probably says the same about Saint Brevik.

Ecuador has made some kind of trade deal with the UK.
Otherwise why expel him with UK knowledge. They could have allowed him to at least try to disappear into the London night and have a shot at escape.

For what it's worth, the theory of swamp-draining that's been floating around the chans since early 2017 (pre-Q) always included Assange being brought to the US to testify as to where Wikileaks got the DNC files that Crowdstrike said were hacked by Russia, among other things. This doesn't prove that's what's happening, but the timing fits with Mueller finishing his show and the DoJ starting to follow the chain of criminal Democrats he unearthed.
It looks to me like all we know is he's being brought to the US at an important time. We won't know why for a while. It has to be better than staying with the UK spooks who would love to bury anything that might tie into their involvement in trying to oust a US president.

Can we be real here? They are just running him down to build a little moral cover for booting him out. What, he doesn't get up for breakfast on time? Could be he is a pain in the butt. Could be not. The leadership is not going to care. They don't have to deal with him, not directly.
The reason is the Ambassador wants his office space back.
The timing is interesting: Assange extradited to US just as investigation into Russiagate treason heating up.
Just speculation at this point. Could be TGE's team expect to use him against traitors, could TGE's team want that insurance file released. Have to wait and see.

I, too, found the timing to be very interesting. Could we finally get confirmation that victim-of-a-robbery-gone-wrong Seth Rich was the actual source of the DNC email leaks?
Wasn’t going to post unless he were in US custody, but it’s been mentioned. If I were Trump, which I am not, with the Russia investigation (2nd phase) done, I’d take the AG Barr comment about investigating the investigation, and offer asylum + pardon if he cooperated specifically with that. Trump has more than once spoken disparagingly about Assange, but not going to third and fourth guess. So, second to Salt, assuming he makes it out of the UK and any globalist lackeys there handling him.
By survives, meaning not spirited away in false death by globalists for their use, and not actually killed to prevent Trump and Assange from working together to really hurt them.
It will be interesting to see if the Dead Man's Switch goes off or not.
Best case scenario is that this is indeed a protective move by the Trump DoJ. Mr. Assange hopefully still has a lot of pertinent intelligence in his files regarding the Deep State, and more specifically, who really killed Seth Rich.

I’ve read the charges, and they are quite strange. Assange is NOT being charged for successfully conspiring with Manning to obtain leaked information. Instead he is being charged for a failed conspiracy to crack a password, on the grounds that the failed conspiracy would have been in furtherance of the successful conspiracy. The conspiracy he is charged with failed, so there is no damage to national security involved. If Assange can simply show that the failed 2010 password-cracking conspiracy ended before April 2014, then the statute of limitations has expired.

The real question is whether Assange is falling into the hands of the globohomo deep-state or (maybe) someone who is against the empire but works within its bureaucracy (NSA?). The statements about the DOJ - a thoroughly rotten, criminal and corrupt deep-state operation from AG to janitor if ever there was one - miraculously doing a reversal under a longtime swamp-creature like Barr - strike me as wishful thinking bordering on delusional. "Breaking" a law isn't cause for arrest. There are 3 lawful causes for arrest; warrant, felony, breach of the peace: for which any man can arrest. Interesting things about warrants is that if proper procedure isn't followed the warrant is void.

Been thinking it over, and this may have been one of the only ways to get him out of there alive. Once he's extradited Stateside, discovery ensues.

Assange wasn't arrested so much as kicked out (then arrested) becuase this:

There were reports that Assange misbehaved in a lot of ways. According to the NY Post he smeared feces on the walls - obviously a well-respected form of creative expression found in psychiatric institutions and modern art galleries. Anyway: An article in the New Yorker describes him as an atheist. I just wanted to say that he might have had more self-control and inner peace in his difficult situation if was religious and had access to the stabilizing force of prayer. The Count of Monte Cristo believed in God and survived 14 years in much worse conditions, and I never heard of him smearing feces on the walls of his prison.
Just listened to last night's Darkstream and found it very helpful as it clarified something for me that I sort of knew all along: I and we do not know enough about Assange, his motives, his friends and his enemies to really judge what is going on.
I think @3 might have it. It's about Brexit.
