HOW TO BE POOR in paperback

We're very pleased to be able to say that HOW TO BE POOR by Milo Yiannopoulos is now available in paperback from Castalia Direct. It's a pocket-sized 96-page edition that retails for $9.99, although international readers should note that this direct service is only available in the USA at this time. You may wish to consider saving some shipping and picking up an Arkhaven comic or two while you're at it.

Never mind the "No Image Available" graphic. We get through their system so fast now that the metadata can require a day or three to keep up. The cover is the same as the one displayed here. International readers should note that the paperback will be available on Amazon and other online booksellers within a week or two.

Speaking of Amazon, after an extensive review process, Amazon KDP has finally deigned to publish the Kindle edition, which is now available on Amazon for $2.99. Please to enjoy all the inevitable fake reviews from Milo-haters who wouldn't even read the book for the schadenfreude.

And if you're a Kindle reader who is now planning to head over to Amazon, don't miss the chance to pick up a copy of AH:Q #1, which is already the #1 New Release in the Mystery and Superhero categories!

UPDATE: Already a multi-category bestseller!

I have overseen the publishing of every KDP book we have ever put on Amazon, and what happened with this book has never happened before. There have been a few times when they've given some excuse, I've had to provide documentation, and then they have released it. But this time it was just a "we have to look into this" kind of a thing, with no explanation at all and no request for action on my part.

@1 Markku, will you be publishing more audiobooks any time soon? I saw quite a lot on Audible, but would like to buy them from Arkhaven.

Please don't advocate attempting to circumvent Amazon's review policies here or in relation to any books we publish. We are always careful to abide by Amazon's policies which is why we are still permitted to sell books there.

Well as one who has purchased over 20 plus books by your publishing house, I want to say I am very pleased to see such growth.

Keep up the good work.

Please don't advocate...

I apologize. Just wanted to support, and am not used to thinking about it from that side.

From the Amazon description it sound hilarious.

With Bezos being occupied with more personal matters, it's obvious the SJW's at Amazon are gaining more control, especially in the book division. They've banned several "questionable" books recently.

Just purchased from Arkhaven and gotten through the first chapter.

I’ve lived overseas in a non PC environment for most of my life, so going back to North America is quite a struggle with keeping my mouth from offending precious snowflakes.

Milo, by comparison, makes me look completely PC! Lovely!

‘Scuse me now, I’ve got a chapter 2 to enjoy.

Understood. No worries.

Left a review of AHQ #1, it won't post. Don't recall this being an issue with previous Amazon reviews I've made.

haha, I can't afford this book. I laugh so I don't cry.

Hey, Vox, what do you think about publishing those books that were banned from Amazon by Jared Taylor and Dr. MacDonald? Maybe they aren't available for you to publish but I think getting them into Castalia House would be great cos frankly i only have room in my heart for one or two small retailers...but I also want to read these books that are deemed more dangerous than Mein Kampf....

Amazon screwing around is one of the reasons why I ditched my Kindle e-reader and went with a Kobo. I don't regret it one bit as the Kobo aces the Kindle in every way imaginable. I get to support authors on their terms (like Arkhaven and Castalia House) as a bonus.

There is, of course, the SJW-infested blog posts at Kobo's site ("support the #MeToo movement and support Google and Facebook in stopping fake news!") but you have to actually dig to get to them.

I don't. We don't exist to rectify the evils of Amazon.

Supposedly some Walmarts are carrying Kobo readers now. I haven't found any yet that have them though. You can order them online from Walmart.com, but I want to actually try one out before spending the money.

I was actually pleasantly surprised that my. Mobi of ATOB purchased from Arkhaven synced to the kindle app on my phone from my kindle paperwhite. I imagined that would only work with ebooks purchased from Amazon.

Several Armenians were expressly invited to help colonize what later became known as America. Most anglicized their names as part of the deal and so melted into the background even taking english spouses. Martin The Armenian, Jamestown 1607, instituted silk worm farming in Virginia territory and Garabedian worked on the Consitution nearly two hundred years later. There were others who fought in the Revolution and Civil War. What made them acceptable was a willingness to assimilate, technical know-how and devout Christianity. Armenians are part of the earliest non-aboriginal American bloodline although their tiny numbers failed to enroll them in the dictionaries.

I have an interesting story that you might benefit from. :)

I ordered a Kobo Clara HD straight from Walmart.com. I got an email notification that it was delivered to my house but when I went outside to look for the package, it was nowhere to be found. Fearing the package might have been stolen, I immediately contacted Walmart to let them know that I didn't get the package. They immediately shipped out another one.

So what happens next? Later on that night, my neighbor gave me a package with my name on it that had been ripped open that he claimed he found in his bushes. It was the Kobo. Interestingly, the Kobo's packaging itself was not unsealed. If what my neighbor says is true and that he did indeed find it in the bushes, I guess the thief wasn't interested in reading. Probably thought it was a smartphone or something. :P

So now I have two Kobo Clara HDs. (I kept the replacement in its original packaging, unopened.)

If you want it, it's yours, free. Otherwise, it's just going to sit there as I have no friends or relatives that are interested. (My relatives that read have Kindles.) You can contact me at my email address: warunicornmusic@gmail.com . Be sure to title the email, "I would like the Kobo" or something so I immediately know.

Coming from a Kindle Paperwhite 6th gen, there are a few things I immediately noticed about the Kobo Clara HD vs. my old Kindle: I love the blue filter light (which can be totally turned off/changed color), it's lighter and there are absolutely no ads, at all.

How to be poor: Buy the cheaper paperback versions of books.

OK, I caved, I'm reading it.

"Because I am basically black."

Damn, the guy really is funny. No wonder SJWs hate him.

Blogger Ariadne Umbrella April 12, 2019 6:43 PM

Do please stay on the right side of Amazon: I buy there.

The opening screen at Amazon, nearly every time, suggests an Arkhaven or Vox Day title I might be interested in. So, something is working right for you, there.

Yeah promote stuff written by people who hate white sovereignty.
