Ben Shapiro is an intellectual drag queen

I'll be going on with Alex Jones very soon, presumably to discuss Iran. But we'll see... we always seem to end up off on a tangent that I didn't see coming.

UPDATE: Yeah, we really didn't discuss Iran. And I did NOT see those particular tangents coming.

He's full zio-shill. Good luck, Vox. Hopefully you guys can get to some sort of truth.

Blogger Astrosmith June 17, 2019 2:50 PM

See if you can ask him about how he's blamed for stuff he never said. Two examples:

1. He never told anyone to harass Sandy Hook families. However, Howard Stern's AJ impersonator has.

2. He never said there were child sex slaves on a secret Martian base. That was stated by some guy he had on the show a few years ago.

There are others but he's being sued and blamed for stuff he has never done or said. What's up with that?

Blogger Astrosmith June 17, 2019 2:53 PM

More generally, how can he be blamed for covering news stories on his show and commenting on them when the story changes over time? He may say something the first day or two about Story X, but then a week or a month later, new details come out about Story X and so he'll make different comments or retract the previous comments. How can he be sued for that?!?!?

Blogger MightyKevster June 17, 2019 2:57 PM

Vox: "Ben Shapiro is an intellectual drag queen." hahahaha! I think BB is rubbing off on the SDL, to spectacular effect.

The peril of live radio with a host as off the cuff as Alex.

Alex Jones is hyper-reactive and Vox Day has strong equanimity. This will be fun to watch.

Blogger Ska_Boss June 17, 2019 4:58 PM

Any way you could link to the segment? I don't think I can stand listening to an entire show.

Charlie Kirk explicitly saying that America has no connection to its soil, but Israel does. A little off topic, but this clip is absolutely mind blowing. They aren't even being subtle about it anymore.

Say what you want, but Vox is the perfect foil for AJ.

AJ having Vox on brings more people to this blog, who really need to hear our Dark Lord's perspective. *This is ironic bc I found Vox first and learned of Jones from this blog. ;-)

Vox, great job of deflecting and redirecting Jones. Your verbal-jitsu is strong.

Blogger xevious2030 June 17, 2019 9:21 PM

Glad those tangents hit. And very efficient, nothing wasted.

The Left, Clintons, Obamas, we're built by China. The SJWs are a spinoff. SJWs push too hard, and China is there to lend a helping hand to the victims of it. China is not the enemy, but the US has been playing their game a bit long. First and foremost, we need our own house in order, that's our fault. Starting with a door and a will.

Blogger Doktor Jeep June 17, 2019 9:22 PM

Well you finally dropped the Judeo-Christian red pill on Alex. I heard him use the term Judeo-Christian himself many times. While Jones is Gen-X, his views along these lines, and on "melting pot", have been lightly boomeristic at best.

Blogger RC June 17, 2019 9:34 PM

I don't recall any other guest but Vox getting uninterrupted time to talk on Jones' show. I like how you're opening the Overton ever so slightly each time.

The segment that Drudge linked over the weekend was epic. AJ's attorney couldn't control him and ended with a frustrated, "Hi Mom." Classic Jones, taking up all the oxygen in the room. Unlike some around here, I enjoy the man's style.

Blogger lowercaseb June 17, 2019 9:35 PM

I agree, Vox and AJ are a great combination. AJ brings the passion and VD brings the focus.

Blogger Jack (LJCSOGHMOMAS) June 17, 2019 9:41 PM

Vox did great, but ffs do they need to keep showing that disgusting video of the kid? It's like having to watch an al qaeda beheading video, again and again.

Blogger Azure Amaranthine June 17, 2019 10:30 PM

"See if you can ask him about how he's blamed for stuff he never said."

The example coming immediately to mind is "Then let them eat cake", which was never spoken by French royalty but rather came from a play mocking them. Certainly there are older examples than that. This is not a new phenomenon.

Blogger Seth S June 17, 2019 10:31 PM

They're practically polar opposites. I've watched InfoWars grow from fringe to adorning car bumpers.

I first found VD during/after GG due to SJWAL. Good stuff.

He's been swept into the TPUSA/Shapiro/et al orbit. If he learns the right lessons from not getting into Harvard (not holding my breath) then maybe he'll become a real boy one day. Unfortunately for him I think he's been identified as the next "young conservative" think tank bobble head.

Blogger tublecane June 18, 2019 1:04 AM

@20- America is just a placeholder for timeless ideas. Ideas which change moment-to-moment, but nevertheless are timeless. Throw us all on an island somewhere, and that's America? Because ideas?

Who actually thinks like that? It's like some sort of weird philosophical thought experiment. Could I be bound in a nutshell and be America so long as I keep muttering "liberty" to myself. What if somehow two people who never met hit upon the requisite timeless ideas, would they both be America separately? Or would they be part of a collective America of the astral plane?

Blogger pdwalker June 18, 2019 1:32 AM

I'd say that VD handled that well. I think the Darkstreams have been excellent training.

Blogger JAG June 18, 2019 2:23 AM

I saw this kid grovel on Fox News. He invoked the Holocaust to try and take some of the heat off, among many other attempts to get his cheese out of the fire. I think he's going to end up annoying everyone when it's all said and done.

Blogger SciVo June 18, 2019 3:13 AM

So I watched it on BitChute, and actually my favorite part of it was at the end where he asked something like "Is Unauthorized.tv the best website?" And you apparently heard that as "Is your baby the best baby?" So you said something appropriately humble yet positive, and then he echoed back that was the best place to look for your stuff.

It's charmingly awkward. It's adorkable.

Which is something that I never thought that I would say about my Supreme Dark Lord, but even the Evil Legion of Evil has its human moments. (Except the Vile Faceless Minions, natch.)

Re: Kyle Kushev: The upper-middle class cannot lead in a culture war, because their entire lives orbit around making deals. They cannot comprehend standing their ground. All of their instincts are wrong.

And the same is true of the middle-middle class, to a lesser extent. Only those that do not work with ideas at all can be truly free of the mental tyranny of the cultural status quo.

Charlie and his lik need to be deported. If they think "America is not an idea" they can have their idea anywhere else in the world.

I agree. Evidently he is a young man of superior intelligence. If he truly comprehends what has been done to him, and he turns his back entirely on that world, and their treachery, and all their ilk, he has a life of monumental achievement in front of him. And I say this, hoping that he eschews college altogether and learns a trade such as concrete, framing, pipelines, etc. But he's just a kid, probably without anybody to fortify him, back him. Alas, he'll probably get a sinecure at National Review, or that new useless rag that Goldberg and Kristol are starting up.

Blogger JG June 18, 2019 7:07 AM

Sending a child to Harvard, the center of the destruction of the USA and Christianity, is evil. Kyle Kushev is lucky to be excluded.

Blogger wahr01 June 18, 2019 7:09 AM

So apparently according to latest messaging InfoWars is now losing money and heading for bankruptcy?
Seems like a restructuring is necessary there to adjust to the new, leaner realities of being silicon valley's persona non grata.

Vox has upped his rhetoric game. In part I blame the mighty rhetorician Owen "Lollipops & Fancy Pants" Benjamin for this.

Blogger xevious2030 June 18, 2019 7:58 AM

Dealing with comments on the fly, at least upon occasion, seems to have had benifits in display. And for a while, there was a slight difference in presentation between the live and prerecorded, in addition to chat and no chat. But as a member of an audience, the recorded and no chat have merged more seamlessly into the better aspects of presentation once had only by the combined live and chat. In short, very cool.

Blogger Azure Amaranthine June 18, 2019 8:34 AM

"but ITS THE SAME revolution against God, Christendom, and due order seen in the revolts of 1517 (Protestantism)"

No. Undoubtedly looters and rebellious ones took advantage of the power vacuum that accompanied that, I know who they are, but the root of it was not a revolt against God. Chalk it up to the Catholic Church leaving the door open. The pendulum always swings back, and usually too far. Corruption is weakness, weakness inculcates rejection, rejection abrogates any remaining pretense of rightful authority.

That being said, best not to go off into those weeds, this thread isn't about that.

Alex is always fun.

Blogger linesy June 18, 2019 10:21 AM

Yeah, Binks, Guns, liquor and footballl are always on topic here, denominational posturing is always OT unless it is specifically the topic. So if VD posts, "Damn, that Francis fella sure is a poofter." then it's no-holds barred, but otherwise it's a bannable offense, even if the topic is something nearly related, like Atheists.

Blogger Azure Amaranthine June 18, 2019 3:39 PM

Binks, you are searching for the same old irrelevant rationalizations. The pendulum usually swings too far back, but it wouldn't be swinging anywhere if it were centered to begin with.

The whole discussion of different branches of Christianity is off in the weeds. Just stop.
