It's going to be an interesting ride

If SJWs are this upset about a pro-life movie, I suspect they're going to be over-the-top apoplectic over Rebel's Run:
Police have been called in to investigate allegations of death threats made to cinema theater owners in Canada who had scheduled to screen the pro-life movie Unplanned. B.J. McKelvie, president of Cinedicon, the Canadian distributor of the film that tells the story of Abby Johnson, a former Planned Parenthood manager-turned pro-life activist, confirmed two Canadian independent cinema owners reported threats that caused them to be “fearful for their families,” said LifeSiteNews.

Yet another independent theater owner was reportedly “harassed to the extreme.”

Chuck Konzelman, one of the film’s producer-directors, reportedly said McKelvie requested, for the sake of safety, the film’s producers remove from their website the July 12 listing of 46 Canadian theaters that will be screening the movie.

The death threats are reportedly aimed at the independent theater owners. McKelvie noted “they didn’t get anywhere with Cineplex, or they didn’t get anywhere with Landmark.”
No worries. We'll be ready for any and every type of opposition. And there will be opposition.

Vox, how about a pulp sci fi film based on Quantum Mortis? I'd get behind that $$$

Getting Rebel Run to be shown in any American theatre would be yuge. I’d be down for making the road trip to the nearest screening (assuming that corporate theaters cave and refuse to show it). You are very right, wise sir, there will be great opposition... wailing and gnashing of teeth. I wouldn’t miss witnessing the meltdowns in person for anything.

Presumably on a rotary-winged aircraft?

I would definitely get behind trying to get it on some Australian cinema screens, but we faced very similar resistance against "Unplanned" here. I think there would literally be riots outside any cinema complex that agreed to play it, especially if they do end up casting Milo as Rainbow (which they certainly should)!

Blogger Nation-Deprived July 07, 2019 9:48 PM

He really is perfect for the part. At the same time I can’t see Milo being in a movie where he’s not the star.

People will eventually learn that the only way to deal with online threats is to do what Anne Coulter does with them: tell them to come on ahead, but don't mind the 12 gauge.

Constantly shrinking in fear only encourages them.

This is what makes me excited about being blessed to contribute toward this. There will be no cucking or whining. If anyone can anticipate and prepare for the attacks to come, it is the Supreme Dark Lord. No battle is certain, but I have confidence that this team will be fighting for victory. I look forward to the ride.

Never thought I'd be in a street melee over a comic-based film but OK I need the practice.

Blogger Ford Prefect July 07, 2019 10:35 PM

I note that one of the theaters to be showing the moving is here in Winnipeg. I shall attend the screening. And thank the manager of the theater for screening it.

It's interesting how routine this has all become. Threats, mobs causing mayhem, social media swarms, it's just another day really. But of course, it shouldn't be routine. My guess is the people of Germany in the 30's 'got used' to violent Communists and Nazi's having street fights and the like. But the low-level street thugs were just useful idiots for the richer thugs. I wish the antifa clowns would understand that they are today's useful idiots, and that the fate of the useful idiot is almost always grim. But they won't, not until much, much too late.

Blogger Ariadne Umbrella July 07, 2019 11:40 PM

Do please be assertive. We've had to drive over an hour to get to a family- positive film, repeatedly. We've also had to request videos at Blockbuster that were hidden by the staff. It gets old.

Commies are emotionally unstable deviates who will never lose their need to destroy others..History shows they can only be dealt with by elimination..

A few drones flying around catching the Antifa gammas masking up before trying to riot would work well in the south. The anti-Klan laws make it illegal to cover their faces during large gatherings.

The difference between this year's revolutionaries and previous ones is that we have a clearer historical and geo-demographic view and can identify the pattern. The current Leftist mania will just serve as an example of 'what to avoid' in future political science textbooks.

Case Study - Leftist mania example 657
- Canada 2019. Pro-choice activists violently threatenned ...

Tolerance means YOU leave ME alone too. - is probably a good t-shirt slogan.

@10 > I wish the antifa clowns would understand that they are today's useful idiots, and that the fate of the useful idiot is almost always grim.

Unfortunately, if they were capable of understanding that, they would not be such useful idiots in the first place. The r selected parasite will always exist when there are billionaires like Soros handing them candy, porn, and baseless outrage to create the delusion of abundance and righteous purpose.

One can only lie for so long, and these problem-people (though an absolute nuisance while active) simply don't have the means, skills, social resources, or intelligence, to survive a major economic crash, or even beyond their own generation (since most of them are celibate and childless for one reason or another). One way or another, they are a self-detonating problem, at least until we're "re-educated" enough about the outcome of the next war, led back into docility, and the next generation of parasites emerge.

The ride, truly, never ends.

Vanishingly few will ever actually understand it. They'll have all kinds of rationalizations for the outcome. None of which will include them being wrong.

@Ska_Boss

You don't need right wing death squads to deal with empty threats. Just laugh at them and call their bluff. Pray for them especially.

Bluff? I don't trust leftist mobs to be bluffing. They seem to think they can do anything and get away with it.

And they've been largely CORRECT on that, at least in the USA.

I saw a little bit of the book [that the movie is based on]. It got me thinking.

If Antifa starts fighting the Dark Lord it will be assisted suicide.

Blogger Avalanche July 08, 2019 9:52 AM

@9 "And thank the manager of the theater for screening it."

Suggest y'all thank him/her preemptively! Maybe get your friends to do so likewise -- give the mgr SOME idea that folks will support him -- to counterbalance the SJW threats! The Right usually forgets to bother, and complains afterwards...

Blogger Duh-ave July 08, 2019 10:30 AM

Won't go to a 'No Gun Zone' theater but will gladly pay full price for the DVD.

Since PedoWood seems to be having a bad year, maybe some/lots of that lost revenue will be spent on Rebel's Run!

Blogger MichaelJMaier July 08, 2019 7:39 PM

Be warned: UNPLANNED is hard to watch. I will admit to wanting to sob in the theater, more than once.

I would say it was maybe harder to watch than Mel Gibson's THE PASSION.

Blogger Edgar Abbey July 08, 2019 8:42 PM

I have no doubt there will be serious efforts to block Rebel's Run from being screened. But I know you'll find a way to make it happen. Looking forward to seeing it.
