Marvel and the Devil Mouse abused Stan Lee

Both converged entities stand condemned by Stan Lee's daughter:
“When my father died, no one from Marvel or Disney reached out to me. From day one, they have commoditized my father’s work and never shown him or his legacy any respect or decency.”

JC concluded with some fiery words aimed at Disney and Marvel, “In the end, no one could have treated my father worse than Marvel and Disney’s executives.”
Of course they treat people badly. Even legends! They worship Satan and they are - at best - in league with pedos and child sex traffickers. What else would you expect?

It is perhaps the highest compliment paid to Stan that Disney did not consider him a friend of mouse

Blogger sammibandit August 22, 2019 2:03 PM

There's been some blind items on CDAN about Lee.

June 2 2018 his manager milking Lee dry.

June 18 2018 Lee being sued with his handlers in on the suit.

No one should be surprised creators living and dead are treated poorly. Even evil CBS owner Sumner Redstone's daughter is having problems with her father's handlers. Just more reason to be careful about who you transact with especially if you have kids.

Blogger JAG August 22, 2019 2:04 PM

Not surprising coming from the same company that would not let a dad put an image of Spider-man on his deceased little boy's grave as per the child's last wish.

The Devil Mouse hates children.

Blogger Beans August 22, 2019 2:10 PM

Does not surprise me. Look at what they were doing with his creations while he was alive.

One of these days, the lich-ified body of Walt Disney is going to lurch out of wherever it is being stored and will go on a wild rampage of senior management. Unfortunately it will be long after any chance of redeeming DisneyCorp at all.

From what I remember, she was treating her father hoeltribly. Stan Lee was in every single Marvel movie, multiple tv shows and cartoons, and gets top billing over Jack Kirby, Ditko et al, having been the face of Marvel for over 40 years.

So is this the same daughter who would throw temper tantrums when Daddy wouldn't sign over all his property, assets, HER and would smack him on the head, pinch and punch and slap him around after pushing him up against the wall?

Just curious if he has more than one daughter, because it's been common knowledge on the scene for a while now that she committed elder abuse against her father often enough for the law to intervene. If this is the same daughter, as reprehensible (heh) as Disney's & Marvel's behaviour was toward Mr. Lee, she shares plenty of culpability in that regard as well. Just sayin'.

Devil Mouse works for me. Disney has been at this for quite a while, people think this is new, but the culture of the company began to change many years ago. All one has to do is look at the former Captain EO (Michael Jackson) film that Disney had, that was back in 1986. If God is not at the center, something else will move in.

I think Devil mouse works though. I have tried to explain to people for a long time why I thought Disney was bad. But before I started reading this blog last year I didnt realize how bad.

I just hated the message of many of it's more recent movies. I called their message Disneyanity, because it pushes the same self help message as the false churches. You can be anything, do anything, just believe in yourself, you are the centre of the world, it's all about yourself rubbish.

But Devil mouse works for me.

South Park had a pretty good anti-disney episode a few years back. It's the one with the Jonas brothers and Disney corporate is repped by a sadistic Mickey Mouse who eventually turns into a fire-breathing parade float at the end IIRC.

They knew what was going on even back then.

Devil Mouse isn't bad, but I don't see it triggering people in the same way that something like the term "SJW" does so there could be room for improvement.

I actually like the character of Mickey Mouse & the whole entourage. So, OF COURSE modern Disney does NOTHING with that intellectual property. Sitting on a shelf. Devils indeed.

Blogger matveidaniilovich August 22, 2019 10:15 PM

Early Disney was HIGHLY influential to Osama Tezuka, the father of Japanese anime. So, we have Disney to thank for the degeneracy of ANIME as well!

Blogger Ingot9455 August 22, 2019 10:40 PM

The story I read about Stan Lee's daughter is that she was spending 20k-50k month on shopping and drug habits and entourage. Her sickly mother and Stan, who knew they didn't have much time left and couldn't enforce their wishes on her as she didn't listen.
The mother was quoted as worrying that a couple years after they passed, she'd have no money and be destitute.
They tried to arrange their will into a trust that paid her a regular salary instead of giving her access to all of it.
That cued legal struggles and so on.

Devil Mouse also works because it starts with D and is alliterative enough to evoke Disney. I think it is even somewhat instinctive to have Mickey Mouse or Disney come immediately to mind.

Icky Mouse? Sounds clever. But it sounds like it's just matter of preference, not good vs evil.

Moloch Mouse? Too much literacy assumed.

Blogger Terrific August 23, 2019 12:23 AM

I'm tossing around "Micky Moloch". But really, it doesn't automatically make you think of Mickey Mouse. Even "Pedo Mickey" or "Pedo Mouse" don't automatically make you think of Mickey Mouse.

It needs something done with the name "Disney". But so far I got nothing....

Why would Disney reach out to Stan Lee, he was completely out of touch with 80s, 90s or 00s comic book era, he was a comic book ambassador for 40 years, didn't do shit during those years. & btw Kirby was the brains of the operation, not Stan Lee.

On the third hand, trying to make a beloved staple of American cinema/enjoyment for literally generations "look evil" may be pushing too hard against the inculcation of "good-boy-Micky!" Like trying to rehab the Nazi's, trying to besmirch Micky may be too far for most folks to go. WE know Devil Mouse -- but we know or suspect what evil lurks in the hearts and minds of the controllers and their minions/victims.

Degrading the name Disney -- pace Walt -- while retaining the word Disney may have to serve, if only we can figure out how? "Degenerate Disney" is the idea but not the phrase...

The Devil Mouse hates children.

There are creative ways to have accomplished that by buying an image, either through a comic or some other purchase. Laminate the image you bought and affix it to the headstone. I never would have asked and just done it, then if they tried to make me remove it, an image I rightfully owned, they would have been on the defensive. If they threatened me I would take them to small claims court, which is usually biased toward the little guy with a good story.

Judging by the messages they tried to propagate, they were getting questionable in the sixties and seventies, and unambiguous sometime in the late eighties. By the mid nineties they were pretty overt in places, and it's only gone downhill from there.

remember the coffee cup with disney reflected by the word wicked? try - Wicked Mickey. i dont see that many being worried about _____ mouse. its too early to use Moloch. And disney is wicked. it has gotten worse over the years, yes, but it was never really pure at all. read up on walt. he was an adoptee, sounded like an illuminati placement. roy too. (check the mathis page)... watch fantasia again with an aware eye. there is plenty of bad info on walt. he had a thing for kids. kurt russell admitted he and walt had a... relationship. freemason, yes, too many pics to deny it. and speaking of every single time... the theory is that the family name was really D'Isigny and they were normans who invaded the british isles. and if u read mathis, u know the normans had hook noses. now go look at walt.
