Fake American, fake patriot

A Marine who knew LTC Vindman exposes him as an anti-American partisan from 2012:
Vindman, who was a Major at the time, was sitting in one of the classrooms talking to the US & Russian Soldiers, as well as the young Officers & GS Employees about America, Russia, & Obama. He was apologetic of American culture, laughed about Americans not being educated or worldly, & really talked up Obama & globalism to the point of uncomfortable. He would speak w/the Russian Soldiers & laugh as if at the expense of the US personnel. It was so uncomfortable & unprofessional, one of the GS employees came & told me everything above. I walked over & sat w/in earshot of Vindman, & sure enough, all was confirmed.

One comment truly struck me as odd, & it was w/respect to American's falsely thinking they're exceptional, when he said, "He [Obama] is working on that now." And he said it w/a snide 'I know a secret' look on his face. I honestly don't know what it meant, it just sounded like an odd thing to say. Regardless, after hearing him bash America a few times in front of subordinates, Russians, & GS Employees, as well as, hearing an earful about globalization, Obama's plan, etc...I'd had enough. I tapped him on the shoulder & asked him to step outside. At that point I verbally reprimanded him for his actions, & I'll leave it at that, so as not to be unprofessional myself.

The bottom-line is LTC Vindman was a partisan Democrat at least as far back as 2012. So much so, junior officers & soldiers felt uncomfortable around him.
Traitor then, traitor now. Every single time.

If one accepts the long-standing premise that the left is essentially a religion, this push for impeachment is nothing more than a mass culling operation, designed to herd the masses and isolate enemies.

Didn't it used to be that LtC was a field command officer only? Someone told me Majors were staffers and LtC's were commanders. No idea if its true.

My Bro in law was ranger-trained last year and got his jump wings this spring - that's some tough training (from the outside looking in), and I noticed this guy had them.

I find it somewhat strange he has a twin brother who also is a LtC in the Army and also works/worked for the National Security Council.

All sorts serve in the ranks, I used to work with a guy who thought Marxism was the coolest thing since sliced bread. He had just read the Communist Manifesto, you see, and it had him all sorts of fired up about implementing communism in the US.

He later got busted down because he lost his temper and dented in the side of one of our duty trucks.

We had a couple of Ron Paul bots on the ship I retired from, they would not stop preaching about their god in the run up to the 2012 election.

Me, I was a founding member of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy™ that HRC loved to talk about.

Mr. Vindman needs to be read his Article 32 rights and face an Article 32 hearing for trying to exert political influence over his Commander in Chief. He needs to force retired at present rank, and not when it is convenient, now.

When this was covered elsewhere, I found it so shocking that an officer of his level to be such a disgusting traitor and not be deep-sixed.

The indications are most are nationalist right who are currently serving, and most veterans are too. But that is not necessarily true among the enlisted based on voting patterns.

So really with a Civil War 2.0, it's a matter of who is domestically placed like in Northcom that will set the initial tone when it inevitably occurs.

Blogger Fergus November 02, 2019 10:00 PM

I don't know if Vox will ever do military graphic novels, but the story of Mad Jack Churchill would make an excellent one. Few know his heroism and bravery and resolve. Heck if you mention Audie Murphy, how many millennials even know who he is? People need to hear the positives as well as the negatives.

Blogger Hammerli 280 November 02, 2019 10:09 PM

Kindly note that the DOD Civil Service personnel spotted the Disloyal Dem and raised the alarm. We may be lazy, but we're loyal.

@12 Fergus: Mad Jack Churchill...or get Gene Fluckey's book "Thunder Below". That one fairly BEGS for a film treatment, as there's both high drama and some hysterically funny scenes.

Blogger Hammerli 280 November 02, 2019 10:12 PM

@11 Fergus: Most DOD personnel, uniformed and civilian, are nationalist. But in an organization of 2 million or so, you're bound to get bad apples. And with vermin like Obama in control, the bad apples get fast-tracked for promotion.

CDR Salamander's blog has touched on this fairly frequently. The Navy DESPERATELY needs a modern Jackie Fisher to get it ready for the Chinese. The PLAN may be new, but so was the High Seas Fleet in 1914.

@9 Didas Kalos, maybe they were earned. However ... paper pusher who got a CIB and a Purple Heart somewhere, probably as an LT, is my best guess. Looks like a Smart Boy who checked all the right boxes, with the right protectors above him.

Checked against Infogalactic and the AR. CIB atop it. Top row of ribbons is a Purple Heart and a Distinguished Service medal with star. Second row has a Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal with stars and Army Achievement Medal with star. Magnified the image resolution so I could see some of the stripe details, and the eyes aren't what they used to be. I could be mistaken and would appreciate being lashed by Malwyn for mistakes made.

Several of the reports noted that the officer is a foreign affairs officer. This means that at some point in his career became a Foreign Affairs Officer or a specialist in his area-- here Ukraine. This means that he either abandoned the combat side and leading troops to become a paper pusher. I do not know his situation, but this normally means he was told that he was not viable in the combat arms but given a chance to find a place in the second or third string. At least this was what used to happen and how people left the combat arms for support roles. Although some left the combat side for the easier support side-- either way it is profoundly different than a LtCol that commands a combat battalion.

He's probably got the usual complement of "I was there" medals, like Global War on Terrorism and Good Conduct. If he was in prior to 2000, he likely has two National Defense medals, like I do. Really, most everything following National Defense in precedence is just so much fluff, it is what is in front of the Good Conduct that matters. All the combat awards go in front, as well as Good Conduct.

I think its unlikely. According to his Wiki he was an infantry officer. My bro in law says at least as of 2018 they want all infantry officers to be ranger trained, and he had from 1999 when he got his commission to 2004 to get it, so I would say its likely he earned them. But who knows? They may have golden-boy'd him through. He certainly doesn't have the warrior look, but then, 1999 was a long time ago.

Lieutenants and Captains are company grade officers. Major through full bird colonel are Field officers, so Majors can in theory command a battalion. The last time that happened was probably WWII.

As for Ranger, he's obviously just a tab wearer. He went to the school and that was it. Mind you 90% of tab wearers ALWAYS claim to be Rangers. Just looking at his perfectly circular face, you can tell that he isn't real thing.

As for the Purple Heart, the official bio says, IED but served the rest of his deployment. Which means he caught a shaving nick's worth of shrapnel and medic had to report it when he pulled it out with tweezers and gave him Motrin 800 for the hurty-hurt.

NO VALOR MEDALS AT ALL.

Which means he was Fobbit. Damn near every commissioned officer got at least Bronze Star if they heard a gun shot in that war.

The rest of his medals are a career staff officer's usual collection of squat-to-piss ribbons.

As for getting on NSA. He picked up an advanced degree from Harvard, then used that as accreditation when he wrote the Army's paper on competing with Russia. Thus making himself the expert on the subject.

"He cloaked himself in an impenetrable veneer of terminology."

Here's the thing, Short Bird is a big cutoff for career officers. I remain convinced he's been passed over for that magic third time and wanted to make himself a hero to the deep state/media machine.

Satan does provide material rewards for his servants and so does the Deep State.

Imagine China allowing an immigrant who grew up in India to enlist in the military, rise through the ranks by taking the easiest route, eventually obtaining the rank of Lt Col. After completing a quick degree at Tsinghua in which they analyzed India as a competitor to China, they then received a plum post in which they were assigned to India with enough responsibility to cause problems.

The Chinese would never, ever be stupid enough to allow this. Allowing foreigners access to these sorts of positions is a national security loophole, to say the least.

Blogger Jim the Curmudgeon November 03, 2019 4:37 PM

Not sure if someone already posted this, but:

https://www.commentarymagazine.com/politics-ideas/alexander-vindman-is-a-jew-not-a-ukrainian-mr-duffy/

"Vindman was born a Jew, and to promote the idea that the land of the USSR ever constituted any kind of “homeland” for any Jewish person is an infamy."

Argument: Jews were persecuted in the Soviet Union (yeah right, they were running it), therefore no Jew has any loyalty to former Soviet states.

Given this, what are the odds that Jews have loyalty to the USA? Remember, this is from Commentary Magazine, not Stormfront.

Blogger Jim the Curmudgeon November 03, 2019 5:06 PM

https://www.palmbeachpost.com/opinion/20191103/zeldin-absurd-charge-that-soviet-jewish-emigre-like-vindman-is-double-agent

Summary: Jews were persecuted in the Soviet Union and kept out of power.

The Orange Revolution in 2005-2006 was orchestrated by our infamous intelligence agencies and neocons backed by Soros who provided the cash and Hillary Clinton through her Open Society who provided the cover. Once again a duly elected president was ousted from office under the guise of humanitarianism and the grabblers (politicians like Biden, major US corporations and bankers) came in for the slaughter and raped Ukraine of natural resources like they did Russia in the 90's. It the same MO with these people. After destroying countries through color revolution they go in and suck up every resource make their money then flood said country with immigrants. Ukraine is now one of the most corrupt countries in the world. We however are onto these criminal globalists and the end is in sight. More people are waking up to their antics. With prayer and Divine intervention I believe the elite are heading for a fall the likes that has never been witnessed.

Once upon a time it was tough training, but then they started injecting females into it. In a very short time jumpwings became just another breather badge. Ranger school is likely on its way to becoming a joke, too.

Speaking of jump school, and officers, I know of one officer who only made it through the PT runs because me, a dumbass private fresh out of Sand Hill, literally pushed him half the way.

Followup from the American Greatness website: https://amgreatness.com/2019/11/04/retired-army-officer-remembers-lt-col-vindman-as-partisan-democrat-who-ridiculed-america/

https://twitter.com/ThomasLasch1/status/1190676399620800512

"Thomas Lasch, Hickman’s boss at the time, corroborated his story on Twitter.

“Jim, I remember exercise ATLAS VISION and this incident. I was your Boss at the time and was satisfied when you told me that you ‘took care of it’ (meaning then MAJ Vindman’s disparaging comments about the U.S. to the Russians ) and I just put things together this past week,” Lasch tweeted."

"In his statement, Hickman explained why Lasch remembered the incident with Vindman: “I did question his patriotism to our nation, and the lack of respect given to Americans in general. I was indeed furious and that’s most likely why my boss Tom Lasch remembers it so clearly.”

“I corrected him solely as a superior officer witnessing a junior officer doing something wrong,” Hickman explained. “We as officers are not supposed to talk about our political leanings, especially in front of subordinates, and never are we to talk down about Americans and our culture.”

Hickman further explained to American Greatness that Vindman spoke favorably of the United Nations, and appeared contemptuous of Americans who didn’t appreciate the U.N. Vindman, Hickman said, believed that “the U.N. should have broader powers” and “talked about how the American people weren’t worldly.”

He noted that Vindman actually used the word “globalism” during the conversation and “talked about American culture versus European culture,” unfavorably, essentially suggesting that “the U.S. has no culture.”"
