For me, blocked "on this website or application." However, link is given for watching on Youtube. FYI

@1 Thanks. I thought I wouldn't be able to watch it. Then I read your comment and was able to catch it.

Awesome. They rock hard. ✊🏿

From what little I've seen, think I prefer Band-Maid to Baby Metal. Feels more like a real performance than a show... and the girls being of legal age removes the vague ick factor for me with BM.

Can I just say that I simultaneously love and hate Vox for reintroducing me into J-Rock? I love Babymetal's new album and the vocaloid stuff like Otestu is really interested... but trying to explain to my wife why our two year old is saying "Papaya" and "Saya Soya" in the car has been interesting to say the least.

I appreciate the J-metal genre because the bands make music that sounds good and sells well and they don't seen to be anti establishment or anything else to my knowledge. Im looking forward to the proliferation of new genres that take the demands of music fans to new heights.

Noice!

I get that. I was always the odd kid in school listening to what I liked. And now its J-rock, and Mongolian Death metal. I played some Baby Metal for my niece. She was like "Is that even english?!?!" I told her no. She then commented, "Uncle Steve... you're weird!" What can I say. She's right.

I believe BM are in their 20s. Also why would that matter? You don't have to use your eyes to listen to music. West Civ has toddlers parading on national television dressed in adult outfits while grown-ups rate their looks. Literally every child actor or performer you see on television has been raped or abused. Can you say the same for Japan?

Fuzzum, the Babymetal live performances are far better than the studio recordings because the dance choreography elevates the act. Their age had never mattered because they've been marketed as adorable young girls doing awesome music. Now they're adults they have to change the image slightly, but they're still cute and still make awesome music.

Band Maid and other J-rock bands sound do much better than the American garbage because they still include a strong melody in their music. Americans have moved away from melody because for some reason they wanted their music to sound ugly. That's fine, nobody listens to that trash.

My favorite Japanese metal band, for those interested in other Japanese Metal: Galneryus. Not to take away from Band-Maid, just adding another great Japanese band. Check out the song "Wings of Justice," https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhYr7sEei84

Galneryus is great. They remind me of Blind Guardian.

I was worried after the last pop sounding song that they would evolve to a more pure pop sound but this sticks them squarely in the rock genre. Reminds me a bit of late 90's/early 2000's alt rock with a Japanese flavor.

Thanks for sharing.
