Quantum Mortis in print and audio

The independent planet of Rhysalan provides Sanctuary to 1,462 governments-in-exile. It is the responsibility of the Xenocriminology and Alien Relations department of the Military Crimes Investigation Division to keep a firm leash on the hundreds of thousands of xenos residing on-planet. Assassinations, revolutions, civil wars, and attempted planetary genocides are all in a day's work for Chief Warrant Officer Graven Tower, MCID-XAR.

In addition to a missile-armed aerovar, his trusty Sphinx CPB-18, and MCID's extremely liberal policies concerning collateral damage and civilian casualties, Chief Tower is assisted by his extreme xenophobia as well as a military-grade augmented machine intelligence that believes it has found God. So when the disintegrated remnants of the heir apparent of an alien royal house are discovered on the streets of Trans Paradis, the question is not so much whether the killers will eventually be found, but if it is the criminals or the crime investigators who will contribute more to the final body count.

QUANTUM MORTIS: A Man Disrupted is finally available in paperback for $17.99 from Castalia Direct and $19.99 from Amazon. However, the best deal on it this month is via the Replatforming, as $20 will get you the ebook, the forthcoming audiobook, and the paperback.

OK, I've got to ask; what's up with the frizzy haired mulatto-looking dude on the Patreon page? (At least that's the impression I get.) Quite odd.

Anyway, I'm in. I've read QM: Gravity Kills, but not this one.

Looking forward to listening to the audiobook as I work. Approximately when will it be available for the Resistance?

To my question, after further musing on it, I'm assuming: camouflage. But it may be something else flying right over my head.

Put your money where your mouth is as they say. I'll download this when its available in audiobook. In the meantime I've just downloaded Throne of Bones. Better to read it, but better to listen to it than watch the utter nonsense that comes out of the idiot box.

I've got a lot out of this blog, become more self-aware about my character flaws from it. I'm still addicted to my "opinions" but some changes are happening and I've had thoughts I don't remember having before. I'll likely have lots more of those thoughts if I read/listen to more of this, and watch less of that.

What part of Red Reservationist don't you understand? ;-)

That's sufficient cold irony for this campaign page to slay three legions of Elfs. The notes about soy(boy?) based ink, etc., had me spewing coffee. Excellent!, to quote Bill and Ted.

Have you noticed the overall theme of the Patreon page?

Great book. I was transported back to being a kid, and reading Heinlein for the first time.

It's a few years since I bought Quantum Mortis A Mind Programmed. Later when I saw published what I thought was second - Gravity Kills, I bought it too. Later still when I finally had time to read it, I already forgot which was first, so I looked on Goodreads. There I found that first book in series is apparently different book - A Man Disrupted. A Mind Programmed isn't listed on Goodreads at all, instead I found there similarly named The Programmed Mind which is part 3. That left me so confused that I postponed reading indefinitely.

That could be easily prevented if books in a series had list of books of that series in a list in the beginning of books as it's done for very good reason by other publishers. I remember I was similarly confused with "The Door into Nowhere" and "Somewhither" by John C. Wright, where one book had "Unwithering Realm 1" on the cover and other "The Unwithering Realm, Book One" while the first was just part of the second. If it wasn't for brilliant books like Missionaries, I would have already given up on Castalia books.
