Divisional playoffs: Saturday

The Chiefs are ROLLING over the Colts. The funny thing is that it wasn't until this weekend that I finally realized why the name Mahomes always sounded vaguely familiar to me. It's because the Chiefs' QB's father played for the Twins for a few years when I was still living in Minnesota. I'm not a baseball fan, but back in the day, when you read the daily newspapers, you picked up the general gist of what was going on with the local sports teams even if you didn't follow them.

Anyhow, this is the open thread for tonight's games. And if they're boring, feel free to join us at the Darkstream.

Fighting the last war

I don't disagree with what this guy is saying. But it's a little ironic that he talks about fighting the last war, because the author himself is focused on an outdated and increasingly irrelevant ideological struggle:
History and theory don’t matter to socialists because they imagine society can be engineered. The old arguments and historical examples simply don’t apply: even human nature is malleable, and whenever our stubborn tendencies don’t comport with socialism’s grand plans a “social construct” is to blame.

These most recent spasms of support for the deadly ideology of socialism remind us that progressives aren’t kidding. They may not fully understand what socialism means, but they fully intend to bring it about. Single-payer health care, “free” education, wealth redistribution schemes, highly progressive income taxes, wealth taxes, gun bans, and radical curbs on fossil fuels are all on the immediate agenda. They will do this quickly if possible, incrementally if they have to (see, again, the 20th century). They will do it with or without popular support, using legislatures, courts and judges, supranational agencies, university indoctrination, friendly media, or whatever political, economic, or social tools it takes (including de-platforming and hate speech laws). This is not paranoia; all of this is openly discussed. And say what you will about progressivism, it does have a central if false ethos: egalitarianism.

Conservatives, by contrast, are not serious. They have no animating spirit. They don’t much talk about liberty or property or markets or opportunity. They don’t mean what they say about the Constitution, they won’t do a thing to limit government, they won’t touch entitlements or defense spending, they won’t abolish the Department of Education or a single federal agency, they won’t touch abortion laws, and they sure won’t give up their own socialist impulses. Trumpism, though not conservative and thoroughly non-intellectual, drove a final stake through the barely beating heart of Right intellectualism, from the Weekly Standard to National Review. Conservatism today is incoherent, both ideologically and tactically incapable of countering the rising tide of socialism.
The real battle is not conservatism vs socialism. First, conservatism is dead because there is nothing left in the West to conserve. Second, the real battle is nationalism vs global imperialism. The most recent offensive of the neo-liberal world order has failed, but its armies have not left the field and its leaders are actively developing new strategies, new tactics, and new false oppositions in order to attempt to pick up where the last attempt left off.

You opined, we listened

While we're not always able to be responsive to various peoples' ideas and requests, we do at least try to be amenable to suggestions for improvement. So, here is a partial list of some of the things the various teams have added lately.
  • You can now use Paypal at the Arkhaven store. Please note that we'd still prefer to have you use your credit card because Paypal's transaction cost is 2x higher, but if you're having problems with your card being accepted, Paypal is now a viable option.
  • Castalia House audiobooks sold from the Arkhaven store now come in a high-quality DRM-free single-file MP4 format. The audio quality is approximately 4x that of an Audible audiobook and you can use the file with a broad range of mobile and desktop readers and other media players. We've also added an AUDIOBOOKS link on the black bar on the main page to make them easier to find. We intend to eventually put our new audiobooks on Audible as well, but we are waiting to hear back from them about being able to make our 40+ existing audiobooks available on the Arkhaven store.
  • The Darkstream now accepts superchats. So, if you'd like to support it that way, it is now a viable option. We did an initial test last night and it was considerably more successful than I'd imagined.
  • The Darkstream will soon be available in podcast format on iTunes. You can find a few recent podcasts here.
  • The digital editions of Arkhaven and Dark Legion comics are now available in high-resolution CBZ format. Not all of the previously published comics have been converted yet, but all of the new releases will be.
There is a lot more to come in the near future, but this is what we have already implemented and can announce to date. On the Indiegogo front, things are proceeding according to the process, and there is nothing more to say at the present time except that we are aware of the way in which SJWs are putting pressure on Indiegogo to deplatform other creators of whom they do not approve.

Who needs a federal government

The USA has enjoyed the longest government shutdown in its history without incident:
The partial government shutdown became the longest closure in U.S. history at when the clock ticked past midnight Friday as President Donald Trump and nervous Republicans scrambled to find a way out of the mess.

A solution couldn't come soon enough for federal workers who got pay statements Friday but no pay.

The House and Senate voted to give federal workers back pay whenever the federal government reopens and then left town for the weekend, leaving the shutdown on track to become one for the record books once the clock struck midnight and the closure entered its 22nd day.

And while Trump privately considered one dramatic escape route - declaring a national emergency to build the wall without a new stream of cash from Congress - members of his own party were fiercely debating that idea, and the president urged Congress to come up with another solution.

'What we're not looking to do right now is national emergency,' Trump said. He insisted that he had the authority to do that, adding that he's 'not going to do it so fast' because he'd still prefer to work a deal with Congress.
Even the black-pillers are beginning to understand that the God-Emperor is serious about building his Big Beautiful Wall. And he is serious about it because he understands that without it, there is no point in even running for re-election.

The Republican Establishment is serious about trying to primary him with Mitt Romney - last week 54 Republican Senators voted to directly attack unalienable American rights at the behest of AIPAC and other Neo-Palestinian interest groups - and President Trump will not be able to defeat that treacherous challenge if he does not deliver on his most important promise to his supporters.

Stand firm and inflexible, Mr. President. Build the Wall. Drain the Swamp. That is the road to victory in 2020.

He shot the sheriff

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has suspended the man who may arguably be the worst law enforcement officer in the country, Scott Israel:
Effective immediately, I am officially suspending Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel for his repeated failures, incompetence and neglect of duty.

Reasons for the suspension span several pages but include this: “WHEREAS Sheriff Israel is responsible for inserting into the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Active Shooter Policy that a deputy ‘may’ enter the area or structure to engage an active shooter and preserve life.”
The reason he didn't actually fire Israel is because he can't. Only the State Senate can do that. No word on the fate of any deputies, though.

Jordan Peterson lays the smack down

Wow, just WOW! I had no idea Jordan Peterson was such a badass. I would NEVER have dared to write JORDANETICS if I had known he was so capable of bringing the noise like that.

Heuristics are not proof

And yet they remain useful when conclusive evidence is not available:
Faced with the 1854 cholera outbreak in London, John Snow had no idea what mechanism caused cholera, and his instruments could not reliably identify the contaminants in water supplies, but he noted what we would now call correlations: some water companies had more of their clients die than others, even though all of them supplied to rich and poor households alike. South of the river companies were more deadly, and they drew more contaminated water from the river rather than other sources, and filtered it less than other companies. Some neighbourhood pumps had more deaths nearby than did others. This was a geographic form of correlation (now called a Voronoi diagram) and it was on that correlational basis, without knowledge of the real mechanism, that he took the handle off the Broad Street pump, and stopped the epidemic.

That is the way we tell the story now, but Snow was a careful and clever man, and pointed out another explanation: the cholera outbreak was coming to an end anyway, as people ran away from areas where there were many deaths. The common folk who believed that correlation implied causation ran for their lives and lived to see another day.

Snow also had to cope with a major anomaly in his geographic correlational investigations. None of the brewery workers right next to the Broad Street water pump fell ill with cholera. It turned out that they received free beer, and the water for the beer was boiled so as to release the flavour of hops, thus inadvertently killing off the water-borne organisms.

Snow jumped to a conclusion because his mind was prepared to interpret associations in a particular way, intially by his doubts about the air transmission miasma theory and later by his own hypothesis of water-borne transmission. He jumped to the right conclusion, without proofs of the causal mechanism which were only available years later.
This is why you should NEVER try to dismiss any correlation with the idiot's refrain that "correlation is not causation". That is an astonishingly stupid thing to say, as it is tantamount to saying that "a clue is not a mathematical proof." Who claims that it is?

As Michael Woodley points out, there is never causation WITHOUT correlation. Which means that correlation is a necessary, but insufficient indicator of causation, it is not a synonym for it.

Those nefarious Russians

First they got Drumpf elected and now they're messing with the magnetic North Pole:
Earth's magnetic fields are shifting - and scientists are unsure why.

Researchers say the magnetic North Pole is  'skittering' away from Canada, towards Siberia.

The problem has got so bad, researchers around the world are scrambling to update a global model of the fields.

Called the World Magnetic Model, it underlies all modern navigation, from the systems that steer ships at sea to Google Maps on smartphones. The most recent version of the model came out in 2015, and it was supposed to last until 2020.

However, researchers say the  magnetic field is changing so rapidly that they have to fix the model urgently.

It was due to be updated on the 15th January, but due to the US Government shutdown, that has already been delayed until the 30th.

The magnetic field is in a permanent state of flux.

Magnetic north wanders, and every few hundred thousand years the polarity flips so that a compass would point south instead of north.
Is it just me or is everything getting weirder faster these days?

Gamma philosophy

An exchange in the Darkstream comments:
Chunky Monkey
Vox has argued that what he calls uniquely high IQ people think holistically, and then turns around and tries to vaguely quantify everything while ironically using that as justification.

Darkstream
There is no quantification involved at all, vaguely or otherwise. You are confusing the concept of "categorization" with "quantification". They are two different things. As a general rule, don't try to correct your intellectual superiors, particularly using words you don't understand.
If you are a Gamma, or even have Gamma tendencies, you simply must learn to resist the urge to correct others, particularly those who are more intelligent than you are. Also, try to keep the adverbs to a minimum. Gammas love adverbs, because adverbs qualify verbs, which permits them to put themselves in the position of implicitly pronouncing judgment on the actions of others.

Categorical thinking is vital to understanding. In fact, categorical thinking is the foundation of Western philosophy, to such an extent that the Stanford Encyclopedia considers Aristotle's categorical system to be uniquely important.
Aristotle's Categories is a singularly important work of philosophy. It not only presents the backbone of Aristotle's own philosophical theorizing, but has exerted an unparalleled influence on the systems of many of the greatest philosophers in the western tradition. The set of doctrines in the Categories, which I will henceforth call categorialism, provides the framework of inquiry for a wide variety of Aristotle's philosophical investigations, ranging from his discussions of time and change in the Physics, to the science of being qua being in the Metaphysics, and even extending to his rejection of Platonic ethics in the Nicomachean Ethics. Looking beyond his own works, Aristotle's categorialism has engaged the attention of such diverse philosophers as Plotinus, Porphyry, Aquinas, Descartes, Spinoza, Leibniz, Locke, Berkeley, Hume, Kant, Hegel, Brentano and Heidegger (to mention just a few), who have variously embraced, defended, modified or rejected its central contentions. All, in their different ways, have thought it necessary to come to terms with features of Aristotle's categorial scheme.
Speaking of irony, it is more than a little ironic, it is downright remarkable that Chunky Monkey would attempt to use such a fundamentally philosophical action as categorical observation as a means of trying to disqualify and discredit someone.

UPDATE: in case you had any doubts whatsoever:
Chunky Monkey
As a rule, don't try to control definitions and back it up with a mealy mouthed ad hominem attack.  It is unnecessary reductionism and you know that.  I understand you want a catch term to discount people you have no interest in debating, but don't think many people can't sense that is what that is.

Darkstream
Chunky Monkey I literally created that definition, which is what the honest observer does rather than pervert existing definitions. Nor is it an ad hominem attack, "mealy mouthed" or otherwise, to observe that you are exhibiting classic gamma behavior. That's not argumentum ad hominem, because that's not WHY you are wrong.  You're just wrong because you don't know the difference between "categorize" and "quantify". Your improper use of words you don't understand, your use of adverbs to try to spin the situation, and your inability to simply admit that you are wrong are all entirely predictable. Because IN ADDITION to being wrong, you are, observably, a gamma male.

Chunky Monkey
Really missing the point. I have seen hundreds of internet personalities create their own version of 'x'-male: it is a cheap attack, and means nothing. You may as well call me a racist. This is why I made an obvious mischaracterization: only SJWs get triggered over not being able to control definitions. You have spent so much time studying and talking about SJWs and jordan peterson that the abyss has become you. It happens to the best of us, please do not think that because you are smart you somehow transcend your human tendencies.
Every. Single. Time. Secret King wins again!

Yellow Vest deplatformings

Big Social is apparently attempting to help the French government clamp down on the Gilets Jaunes. I've heard that they are getting deplatformed left and right by Twitter and Facebook. Fortunately, there are alternatives coming, and very soon.

Burn Unit, you're all going to be given the opportunity to alpha test Infogalactic's new Twitter alternative VERY soon. If there are features you would like to see, please share them here. And it will NOT be a free speech zone, we are going to clamp down ruthlessly on the Alt-Retards and adult content trolls who destroyed the Gab community. It's going to be a clean speech zone, so if you want to pass naked pictures back and forth or engage in bantz, you'll have to do it somewhere else.

Glad to be gone

Minnesota is institutionalizing diversity and equality:
The first official action of Gov. Tim Walz’s administration was to renew a promise the state will strive to be more equitable and inclusive and for the first time making geography a focus of those efforts.

“In Minnesota, we all know we are better off when we are in it together,” Walz said. “The state must be a leader in ensuring everyone has an opportunity to thrive.”

Walz signed an executive order creating the “One Minnesota Council on Diversity, Inclusion and Equity” on Wednesday at the Capitol. The governor will lead the council that Walz said builds on the work of former Gov. Mark Dayton’s administration.

“Disparities in Minnesota, including those based on race, geography (and) economic status keep our entire state from reaching its full potential,” Walz said. “As long as these inequities impact Minnesotans’ ability to be successful, we’ve got more work to do.”
I don't think everyone will be better off when they're all caught up in the coming Diversity Wars together. As I told the Original Cyberpunk, I can feel his quality of life improving from here.

Training vs fighting

A karate black belt shares his thoughts on my recent observations concerning the distinction between training and fighting.
"Training is not fighting. Training is learning how to do things. Fighting is learning how to defeat the opponent who has a vote."
- Vox Day

Everyone knows that training is important. Without training, success is a dice-roll, and failure is likely. Even if you get something right, it is easy to mis-attribute your success to one thing, when in reality something else entirely won the day. Only those with training know what to look for.

Through volume of repetition, training gives you the speed and instincts to do the right thing, whether that is resolving an argument, building a house, or coming out on top in a bar-fight.

But training isn't enough. All the training in the world isn't enough without experience.

In order to be confident in himself, a man has to know he can physically protect himself. It doesn't matter if this is rational in the modern age. It just is. If wealth, charisma, or social connections are the measure of power today, physical fitness and skill in fighting still dominate how men evaluate other men, and how they think of themselves. It's primordial.

Today's generation half-understands this. They've seen Fight Club. They understand the attraction of being dangerous. They sign up in herds for Karate, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, the works. But they mistake training for fighting. They mistake the tools for the finished product. The finger for the moon.

I received my black-belt in Shudokan karate when I was sixteen years old. By the time I had received that supposed sign of mastery, I had heard three fight stories involving black-belts.
Read the whole thing there. And then reflect upon the confidence and resilience that I exhibit, that some people despise and others admire. Even if you believe the confidence is a sham, or that it is delusional, from whence does the resilience spring? Why is it that I am so able to bounce back so quickly, so automatically, from the sort of attacks, expulsions, and deplatformings that others find so debilitating?

It's just experience. It's from the certain knowledge that you can get up and get back into the fight after you get knocked down. And the only way to acquire that knowledge, the only way to acquire that resilience, the only way to acquire that confidence in yourself, is to take the shots and face that moment of truth that no amount of self-deception can ever disguise. It's a moment that observers can often see too.

That's why real fighters often admire each other even if they actively dislike each other. That's why boxers often hug with genuine affection after beating the hell out of each other. That's why two men who get into a fight not infrequently become friends. Because the nature of the combat relationship is such that it often gives a man a glimpse of his opponent's soul, and it is not uncommon to see something admirable there.

His own private Alamo

President Trump is absolutely right to make a stand on the Wall. He's correct to believe that he will not be re-elected in 2020 if he does not deliver on his second-most important campaign promise, to Build the Wall.
President Donald Trump has boxed himself into a situation with no endgame in his government shutdown standoff over a border wall, a new report claims.

Citing an unnamed former White House official, Vanity Fair reported on Tuesday that Trump believes he will not be reelected in 2020 if the wall is not built, and has made the issue his 'personal Alamo'.

Trump reportedly told aides that he is prepared to make his 'last stand' on the wall issue, staking his entire presidency on constructing the border barrier that he called for forcefully in a Tuesday night address to the nation from the Oval Office.

'The president put himself in a box,' the former official in touch with the White House told the magazine. 'The problem is there's no endgame. Right now the White House is at a seven on the panic scale. If this thing goes on past the State of the Union they're going to be at an 11.'
Build the Wall. Drain the Swamp. Nothing else matters. Not the stock market, not North Korea, and not tax cuts. And certainly not ending the government "shutdown".

Build the Wall and win. Fail to build it and lose. This is not rocket science.

Darkstream: the magic cuddle puddlers

Unlike the Roganites and BJJ fanboys who were triggered by my observations, a number of actual grapplers and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioners understood what I've been saying about grappling being, in most real-world situations, an impractical and dangerous approach to fighting. Especially these days. If Antifa is going to attack you, you can pretty much guarantee they will not do so 1v1.
  • Dean lister actually says a lot of the same things vox does. I mean, he talks about bar fights etc and how bjj is not optimal in those situations and the kinds of things that are effective in real fights.
  • Precisely. My experiences are the same as yours. Every serious fight I've been in ended up being me fighting more than four people. Last place you wanna be is the ground. There's a reason BJJ isn't taught for street defence.
  • I'm a BJJ instructor and have trained Shotokan for 7 years and Muay Thai for about 4. I've been in about 6 real world fights. Only 1 was 1 on 1. You should have knowledge of both standing and ground game. Being able to execute take downs and know how to get back up if you get down is very important. Vox made some good points. Grapplers stop being triggered. 1 on 1 the grappler will most likely win. Anything other than that you need to be as mobile as possible which means you need to stay standing.
  • I wrestled Division One on a team with a national champion and I can say Vox is more than correct in his assertions. A wrestler's only advantage is his strength and physical ability to take some abuse and crush a guy ONE ON ONE on the ground. But wrestling in a bar or street fight is a no-win situation. You have to strike and stay on your feet. You never want to end up on the ground.
  • I disagree with some of what Vox pushes, especially on religion etc (and on Kenpo.. depending on the style). He is absolutely correct on this. Having done martial arts for many years and been in many confrontations he is pretty much on point on this topic. Wrestling rarely puts forth real-world situations and realities.
  • He is correct. BJJ is "fake," that is,  it takes place within a structure and it is effective within that structure. The GIF shown early on proves that grappling on the ground in a real fight opens you up to being crushed by someones mother. There'a a reason Kano emphasized throws.
The strangest thing about this situation has been the way that triggered Roganites and Brazilian Cuddle Puddlers keep demanding that I prove the truth of my experiences and claiming that my observations are somehow invalid if I don't post a video of me physically harming people with my magical martial arts skills. Do they really not grasp the irony of the fact that they are fans of a UFC COMMENTATOR who talks about this subject all the time despite having no personal experience of either ring-fighting or real fighting?

My comments, observations, and opinions are either on point or they are not, regardless of whether you believe my colorful story about beating up 15 leprechauns who rode in together on a giant green-maned unicorn with an ancient Native American martial art I learned from the tribal shaman.

And this video of Sakuraba absolutely destroying the best that the Gracies had to offer demonstrates very clearly the fundamental weakness of building your attack plan around a ground game. Look how utterly stupid and helpless both Hoyce and Renzo Gracie are with Sakuraba standing over them, just deciding where he's going to stomp on them next.

This comment sums it up well:

how does that work then?
"I lay on the floor and get the shit kicked out of me."
not sure this bjj works to be honest.

Yellow Vests go on the offensive

And they are targeting one of the obvious vulnerabilities of the liberal imperialists:
Yellow Vest protesters are hoping to trigger a bank run with a nationwide coordinated cash withdrawal. By threatening the French financial system, protesters say, they want to peacefully force the government to pass their reforms.

“If the banks weaken, the state weakens immediately,” said Yellow Vest “sympathizer” Tahz San on Facebook. “It’s elected officials' worst nightmare.”

Protesters plan to empty their bank accounts on Saturday, withdrawing as much money as possible in a bid to undermine the French banks – if not the euro itself. The plan is to “scare the state legally and without violence,” forcing the government to adopt the movement’s Citizens’ Referendum Initiative, which would allow citizens to propose and vote on new laws.

“We are going to get our bread back…you’re making money with our dough, and we’re fed up,” said protester Maxime Nicolle in a video message shared on YouTube.

A well-coordinated financial action has the potential to bring the French banking system – and by extension the euro – to its knees, as banks always hold only a fraction of the funds the country’s citizens have in their accounts. However, most banks limit ATM withdrawals to a relatively low amount, meaning protesters would have to line up inside the banks to withdraw the rest of their money, giving the state plenty of time to place restrictions on withdrawals – though this would, no doubt, spark further protest.
This will cause the imperialists to put more stress on "the cashless society", although everyone should now understand that a cashless society is a controlled society.

The desecration of Saint Solzhenitsyn

The Neo-Palestinian Ekaterina Jung - who calls herself "Cathy Young" now that she wants to convince everyone that she's a Real American who loves hot dogs, apple pie, and baseball just as much as anyone else - sends a strong signal that Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn is in the process of being added to the Neo-Palestinian blacklist in her hit piece entitled "Solzhenitsyn: The Fall of a Prophet":
The 100th anniversary of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s birth on December 11 was an occasion for many tributes. A decade after his death, Solzhenitsyn remains one of the past century’s towering figures in both literature and public life. His role in exposing the crimes of the Soviet regime is a historic achievement the magnitude of which can hardly be overstated. But his legacy also continues to be the subject of intense debate among people who share his loathing of that regime—and those controversies, which have to do with freedom, traditional morality, and nationalism, are strikingly relevant to our current moment.

Solzhenitsyn was once my childhood hero. Growing up in the Soviet Union in the 1970s, in a family of closet dissidents, I knew him as the man who defied the system and told the truth about its atrocities—the man idolized by my parents, especially my father, himself the son of gulag survivors. I was eleven when Solzhenitsyn was arrested and expelled from the Soviet Union; our Stalinist political instructor at school bellowed that he should have been shot as a traitor. A year or two later I heard excerpts from The Gulag Archipelago on foreign radio broadcasts; then, the coveted book appeared for a short while in our home.

Later, after my family emigrated to the United States in 1980, Solzhenitsyn’s heroic halo gradually began to lose its luster in our eyes. We were hardly alone; as the years went by, many of his erstwhile admirers came to believe, with bitter disappointment, that Solzhenitsyn could no longer be seen as a champion of freedom and justice.
The real reason for Jung's rejection of her former hero Solzhenitsyn, of course, is that because Russia is now Hitler. The Neo-Palestinians are furious that the Russians under Vladimir Putin have managed to shake off the leash of liberal imperialism that the Neo-Palestinians, unlike their considerably more sensible nationalist cousins in Israel, so fervently support. And I suspect that this new anti-Solzhenitsyn campaign is founded in the realization that the eventual publication of Solzhenitsyn's Two Hundred Years Together in English, whenever that finally happens, is going to completely explode the myth of the poor innocent Neo-Palestinians who never did nothing to nobody nowhere, once and for all.

Losing their little minds

Joe Rogan's fans are losing their little minds over someone who has actually been in both ring fights and very bloody real fights observing that a guy who relentlessly trains in various martial arts disciplines, but has never done anything except play the glorified game of tag that is point-fighting, observably doesn't actually know how to fight. Rogan is in wonderful shape, and he's worked very hard, but he's quite clearly not even training for actual fighting.

I've had my nose broken and I've been knocked out. I've broken other people's ribs, ankles, and noses. I've bled like a stuck pig and had other people's blood running down both my arms to my elbows. Which is why I can tell you, no amount of training is a substitute for actual experience.

Trump speech transcript

This is the transcript of the President's speech last night. - VD

Tonight, I am speaking to you because there is a growing humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border. Every day customs and border patrol agents encounter thousands of illegal immigrants trying to enter our country. We are out of space to hold them and we have no way to promptly return them back home to their country. America proudly welcomes millions of lawful immigrants who enrich our society and contribute to our nation. But, all Americans are hurt by uncontrolled illegal migration. It strains public resources and drives down jobs and wages. Among those hardest hit are African-Americans and Hispanic Americans. Our southern border is a pipeline for vast quantities of illegal drugs, including meth, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl. Every week 300 of our citizens are killed by heroin alone, 90 percent of which floods across from our southern border. More Americans will die from drugs this year than were killed in the entire Vietnam War.

In the last two years, ICE officers made 266,000 arrests of aliens with criminal records including those charged or convicted of 100,000 assaults, 30,000 sex crimes, and 4,000 violent killings. Over the years thousands of Americans have been brutally killed by those who illegally entered our country and thousands more lives will be lost if we don't act right now. This is a humanitarian crisis, a crisis of the heart and a crisis of the soul.

Last month, 20,000 migrant children were illegally brought into the united States, a dramatic increase. These children are used as human pawns by vicious coyotes and ruthless gangs. One in three women are sexually assaulted on the dangerous trek up through Mexico. Women and children are the biggest victims by far of our broken system. This is the tragic reality of illegal immigration on our southern border. This is the cycle of human suffering that I am determined to end.

My administration has presented Congress with a detailed proposal to secure the border and stop the criminal gangs, drug smugglers and human traffickers. It's a tremendous problem. Our proposal was developed by law enforcement professionals and border agents at the department of homeland security. These are the resources they have requested to properly perform their mission and keep America safe. In fact, safer than ever before. The proposal from Homeland Security includes cutting-edge technology for detecting drugs, weapons, illegal contraband and many other things. We have requested more agents, immigration judges, and bed space to process the sharp rise in unlawful migration fueled by our very strong economy. Our plan also contains an urgent request for humanitarian assistance and medical support. Furthermore, we have asked Congress to close border security loopholes so that illegal immigrant children can be safely and humanely returned back home. Finally, as part of an overall approach to border security, law enforcement professionals have requested $5.7 billion for a physical barrier. At the request of Democrats, it will be a steel barrier rather than a concrete wall.

This barrier is absolutely critical to border security. It's also what our professionals at the border want and need. This is just common sense. The border wall would very quickly pay for itself. The cost of illegal drugs exceeds $500 billion a year. Vastly more than the $5.7 billion we have requested from Congress. The wall will always be paid for indirectly by the great new trade deal we have made with Mexico. Sen. Chuck Schumer, who you will be hearing from later tonight, has repeatedly supported a physical barrier in the past along with many other Democrats. They changed their mind only after I was elected president. Democrats in Congress have refused to acknowledge the crisis. And they have refused to provide our brave border agents with the tools they desperately need to protect our families and our nation. The federal government remains shut down for one reason and one reason only because Democrats will not fund border security. My administration is doing everything in our power to help those impacted by the situation. But the only solution is for Democrats to pass a spending bill that defends our borders and reopens the government. This situation could be solved in a 45-minute meeting. I have invited congressional leadership to the White House tomorrow to get this done. Hopefully, we can rise above partisan politics in order to support national security.

Some have suggested a barrier is immoral. Then why do wealthy politicians build walls, fences and gates around their homes? They don't build walls because they hate the people on the outside, but because they love the people on the inside. The only thing that is immoral is for the politicians to do nothing and continue to allow more innocent people to be so horribly victimized. America's heart broke the day after Christmas when a young police officer in California was savagely murdered in cold blood by an illegal alien who just came across the border. The life of an American hero was stolen by someone who had no right to be in our country.

Day after day, precious lives are cut short by those who have violated our borders. In California, an Air Force veteran was raped, murdered and beaten to death with a hammer by an illegal alien with a long criminal history. In Georgia, an illegal alien was recently charged with murder for killing, beheading and dismembering his neighbor. In Maryland, MS-13 gang members who arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors were arrested and charged last year after viciously stabbing and beating a 16-year-old girl. Over the last several years, I have met with dozens of families whose loved ones were stolen by illegal immigration. I've held the hands of the weeping mothers and embraced the grief-stricken fathers. So sad. So terrible. I will never forget the pain in their eyes, the tremble in their voices and the sadness gripping their souls. How much more American blood must we shed before Congress does its job?

For those who refuse to compromise in the name of in the name of border security, I would ask, imagine if it was your child, your husband or your wife whose life was so cruelly shattered and totally broken. To every member of Congress, pass a bill that ends this crisis. To every citizen, call Congress and tell them to finally, after all of these decades, secure our border. This is a choice between right and wrong, justice and injustice. This is about whether we fulfill our sacred duty to the American citizens we serve. When I took the oath of office, I swore to protect our country. And that is what I will always do so help me God. Thank you and good night.

More restaurants to boycott

Unless, of course, they are owned by Israel. If the Republican Senate gets its way, that would be illegal. In any event, Tucker Carlson is now in the sights of the corporate speech police:
Red Lobster has joined a wave of advertisers that have cut ties with the conservative Fox News host Tucker Carlson's show.

The chain confirmed to Business Insider on Monday that it was no longer advertising during "Tucker Carlson Tonight." Critics had pointed out that the seafood chain was one of the few brands that continued to advertise on the prime-time opinion show after recent controversies.

At least 19 brands have stopped advertising on the show since December.
IHOP did the same thing recently. Unless and until conservatives stop supporting the corporate brands that use their brand power to try to silence conservative views, corporations are going to keep attempting to buy influence over the few pro-American voices in the media.

And this is why conservatives will keep losing.

I lived on the Gulf Coast too long to think that Red Lobster is quality seafood. But where I live now if I don't go to Red Lobster my only other seafood option is filet-o-fish at McD's.

Two times unlucky

Black men keep dying in the house of a major Democratic donor:
Protests have broken out outside the California home of wealthy Democratic donor and LGBT activist Ed Buck, after the second dead body of a black man was found inside in less than two years. The dead man – an unidentified man in his 50s – was a “longtime friend” of Buck, Attorney Seymour Amster told Fox News. He apparently turned up at Buck’s door on Sunday night and began acting “in a bizarre way,” before dying in the Los Angeles apartment.

“As far as we're concerned, this is an accidental death,” Amster told Fox.

Neighbors aren’t convinced. Shortly after the discovery on Monday, they began turning up outside Buck’s Los Angeles residence. The protesters blame Buck for the man’s death, and say they have called the police on the wealthy donor before. While one death is suspicious enough, this is not the first time a black man has died in Buck’s house.

In July 2017, a 26-year-old black male prostitute named Gemmel Moore was found dead in Buck’s apartment. The apartment was full of drug paraphernalia, including dozens of syringes, glass pipes, and plastic bags containing powdery residue and a crystal-like substance. Moore’s death was ruled an accidental methamphetamine overdose, but police reopened their investigation after excerpts from Moore’s journal were published by the Los Angeles Times.
Ed Buck is literally more lethal to blacks than the Ku Klux Klan. So racist!

Round two: fired

The leader of the AH:Q backers' class-action claim against Indiegogo has just informed me that their joint demand for arbitration has been sent off to both the arbitrator and Indiegogo's VP/General Counsel. As per their recent research, they have added a claim of tortious interference by Indiegogo in the separate agreement between the campaign backers and Arkhaven.

If you are a backer of the AH:Q campaign on Indiegogo but are not one of the 195 class-action claimants - please don't even THINK about asking if you are one of them, as if you have to ask, then you are not a part of it - you can still file your own demand for arbitration and the lawyers handling the class action have prepared a package that will help you do so. Note that it will cost $250 to file the claim, but that plus the cost of sending two registered mailings will be the full extent of your expenses, as stated in the Indiegogo Terms of Use.

If you are interested in filing your own demand, but have not already contacted me about doing so, please feel free to email me and I will pass your email on to the relevant parties.

The joy of gammas

This is one of the reasons I needed to be heavily encouraged to move into video. I knew the average IQ of the video commenters was going to be at least a standard deviation below the blog commenters, but it's still painful to encounter and endure the retardery. I thought Gamma midwits were bad, but the average-IQ variants are arguably even worse:
EhudofGera3
This is the second video of you I have seen. I've watched all the IDW, Owen Benjamin pointed me here, your so longwinded and have a poor presentation. What you're saying may or may not be true, but the delivery needs work.

Darkstream
Your grammar and punctuation both require improvement.

Jakob Algeblad
Darkstream You seem too be a great man, responding to a respectful comment with insults...

Darkstream
Your spelling requires improvement.
Now that I better understand them, I really, truly, and sincerely hate gammas. If you're a gamma reading this, please understand that offering unsolicited advice and criticism is something that you should never, ever, do. That habit is one of the primary reasons that people not only don't like you, but actively avoid your company. If you want to be more popular, then excise the words "should", "need", and "seem" from your vocabulary. Never, ever, use them.

Mailvox: American Free Corps

Try telling this unemployed military veteran that immigration and work visas are "good for the economy":
Here's a quick rundown of what happened to me. I can't qualify for a job requiring zero years experience.  We're being replaced.
  • 6-year USAF veteran. Honorably discharged in 2011.
  • Start new career in energy in 2011. Shit hits the fan with oil prices and get laid off in 2016.
  • No problem, chin up, go back to school and finish economics degree. Graduate early 2018.
  • Apply to job at Hewlett Packard. Wait patiently for response and vigorously apply elsewhere.
  • Get rejected for a job requiring ZERO years experience. WTF-F-F-F?
  • Check out H1B search position and company. HP has hired 4 people on H1B for the same job.
  • I was replaced in my own country. The country that I served.
The war is coming home. If America's soldiers can't find work, then no one should be surprised if they begin to utilize the skills they learned in the military against their real enemy, the one that is actually attacking them, their families, and their way of life.

Jerry Pournelle was right. There will be war.

If it's war they want

It is war they will get. An AfD politician was attacked, beaten, and left for dead in Frankfurt tonight:
A far-right German politician has been left for dead in brutal attack, his party has said. Frank Magnitz, chairman of Germany’s AfD party, was badly beaten by three alleged assailants on Monday. He is believed to have been jumped after leaving a New Year's reception in Frankfurt's Goethe Square.

Graphic images posted on the AfD Bremen Facebook page showed Magnitz lying in a hospital bed with a gaping head wound.

Describing the attack as a 'politically-motivated attempted assassination', the AfD said Magnitz was knocked unconscious and suffered a number of blows to the head.
There will be war. This has always been inevitable. But it is almost here now.

A belated Christmas present

Santa is bringing us a new Supreme Court Justice in 2019:
The Supreme Court says Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is missing arguments for the first time in more than 25 years as she recuperates from cancer surgery last month. Court spokeswoman Kathy Arberg said Monday the 85-year-old Ginsburg is continuing to recuperate and work from home after doctors removed two cancerous growths from her left lung on Dec. 21.
Translation: she's in such bad shape she can't be allowed out in public anymore.

I understand why the Left is determined to ride her into her grave, but it's still pretty ghastly. If they had any decency, they would let the sick old woman retire already.

Santo Matteo vs the lab rat

Italy's two senior ministers, Matteo Salvini and Luigi di Maio, are publicly attacking France's Macron and supporting the gilets jaunes.
In an extraordinary public EU feud, Italy’s Matteo Salvini and his coalition partner have thrown their support behind France’s Yellow Vest movement, while Salvini also accused President Emmanuel Macron of being against his people.

“I support honest citizens who protest against a governing president [who is] against his people,” said the Italian deputy prime minister.... In December, Salvini mocked the French president as a “lab mouse elected to keep the elitist political system in place.”

The prime minister, Cinque Stelle's di Maio, said, "Politics, in France as in Italy, has become deaf to the needs of citizens who have been kept out of the most important decisions affecting the people. The cry that rings out strongly from the public squares in France is: let us participate! Yellow vests, do not quit!"
Emmanual Macron observably does stand against the French people. He is an enemy of France. He is a globalist, an elite liberal imperialist of the very sort Hazony describes in The Virtue of Nationalism, and he has rejected his nation.

Big Bear doesn't take the bait

I could probably learn something from the way Owen Benjamin handles those who are interested in stirring up Internet drama between various personalities with potentially differing opinions.
Next time you talk to Vox Day, would you be interested in stress-testing your conflicting opinions of Dennis Prager? Vox not a fan to say the least?

No. because all his points were valid! I like Prager. I mean, Vox doesn't hate Prager, he just thinks he's a fake nationalist, which he kind of is, according to the strict definition of what nationalist means. And in this world of nonsense, you've kind of got to start, like, words matter! What the word means matters! This whole conflation of state and nation, like a nationalist and a statist, your government is not your nation!

And Vox just is one of those guys that, thankfully, pays very, very close - he's a fucking book editor! He pays very close attention to the definition of words. And when someone says something like "Judeo-Christian values," it drives him crazy. Because Judeo-Christian, do you know what Judeo-Christian means, actually? It means a Jew who became Christian. Andrew Klavan is Judeo-Christian. It doesn't mean Jewish and Christian! That's fucking insane!

I don't know. What do you guys think?

The definition of words is the biggest problem we face.

100 percent. I'm going to start saying Judeo-Islam. It's just as insane. It makes no sense. And people are like, "Jesus was Jewish". That's like saying George Washington was British. It's so intentionally fucking stupid.

No, let me think of a good example of what that would be. Do you guys have any funny examples? Judeo-Buddhist, that's hysterical. I had a great one earlier when I was doing fence work, I just didn't write it down.

George Washington was indeed British.

To say George Washington was British is intentionally fucking with all of history. He was America's first President. He's debatably the most American dude ever.... I listened to the whole thing. It didn't sound like he was trashing Prager. He was just calling out the guy's vagueness. Like, he's at least misinformed, if not intentionally doing wizardry. Judeo-Christian is not a word. America was not founded on Judeo-Christian values. There's a better argument that America was more founded on Masonic values.
Owen is right. I don't hate my former WND colleague Dennis Prager. I also don't trust him, nor would I recommend Prager U to anyone who wants an objective and reliable account of history, especially American history. Whatever his various strengths and weaknesses might be, they are colored by the fact that he is not an American, he is a Neo-Palestinian whose primary concern is for the Neo-Palestinian people who are every bit as Palestinian as the people who were there when they arrived, or, in the case of Dennis Prager, didn't actually ever quite get around to arriving.

Words mean things. And those who obscure, fold, spindle, and mutilate the meaning of words for their own ends are wizards who are pursuing ends and serving masters that they wish to conceal from you.

Later in the stream, Big Bear explains that he's not afraid of labels, why he's not afraid to talk to Flat Earthers and others who challenge the current narrative, and how the perception of those who challenge the narrative changes over time.
Vox Day has an actual plan. That motherfucker was so ahead of schedule that people found him terrifying. And now that some of his predictions, decades ago, are coming true, half the population finds him terrifying, and the other half are like, "oh, he's a really good guy." It takes balls to go against the narrative. It takes fucking balls.
It has been fascinating to see how much less crazy people seem to think I am now compared to the middle nineties. I am old enough to remember when people denied that the National Security Agency existed, and declared, with much the same self-assurance as the Moonies today, that anyone who believed the Federal government was capturing and recording everyone's emails and telephone calls was paranoid.

But all I've ever done is observe current events and interpret them through the various trends I have learned about from others and personally observed in the written historical record. I do have a Christian filter, because that is the philosophical model I believe makes the most comprehensive sense of everything, but I'm perfectly capable of doing my analyses without utilizing it.

Neo-Palestinian priorities

I'm not sure whose grasp of American political realities is more tenuous and delusional, the Republicans in the Senate or the Neo-Palestinians who are pushing this blatant attack on American liberties:
WHEN EACH NEW CONGRESS is gaveled into session, the chambers attach symbolic importance to the first piece of legislation to be considered. For that reason, it bears the lofty designation of H.R.1 in the House, and S.1 in the Senate.

In the newly controlled Democratic House, H.R.1 – meant to signal the new majority’s priorities – is an anti-corruption bill that combines election and campaign finance reform, strengthening of voting rights, and matching public funds for small-dollar candidates. In the new 2017 Senate, the GOP-controlled S.1 was a bill, called the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act,” that, among other provisions, cut various forms of corporate taxes.

But in the 2019 GOP-controlled Senate, the first bill to be considered – S.1 – is not designed to protect American workers, bolster U.S. companies, or address the various debates over border security and immigration. It’s not a bill to open the government. Instead, according to multiple sources involved in the legislative process, S.1 will be a compendium containing a handful of foreign-policy related measures, a main one of which is a provision, with Florida’s GOP Sen. Marco Rubio as a lead sponsor, to defend the Israeli government. The bill is a top legislative priority for AIPAC.

In the previous Congress, that measure was known as S.170, and it gives state and local governments explicit legal authority to boycott any U.S. companies which themselves are participating in a boycott against Israel. As the Intercept reported last month, 26 states now have enacted some version of a law to punish or otherwise sanction entities which participate in or support the boycott of Israel, while similar laws are pending in at least 13 additional states. Rubio’s bill is designed to strengthen the legal basis to defend those Israel-protecting laws from constitutional challenge.

Punishment aimed at companies which choose to boycott Israel can also sweep up individual American citizens in its punitive net, because individual contractors often work for state or local governments under the auspices of a sole proprietorship or some other business entity. That was the case with Texas elementary school speech pathologist Bahia Amawi, who lost her job working with autistic and speech-impaired children in Austin because she refused to promise not to boycott goods produced in Israel and/or illegal Israeli settlements.

Thus far, the two federal courts that have ruled on such bills have declared them to be unconstitutional violations of the First Amendment speech rights of American citizens.
One almost suspects this to be a stealth plan being pushed by Israeli nationalists to force all the reluctant Neo-Palestinians in America to finally make good on their repeated vows to go home to Jerusalem.

Do they want Holocaust 2.0? Because this strikes me as being a very good way to go about getting Holocaust 2.0. Consider what Americans did to the Japanese just because they bombed some of our island real estate. Now the idiot Neo-Palestinians are dive-bombing basic American liberties - apparently the Israeli attack on the U.S.S. Liberty was a symbolic warning - and they think Americans will just smile and take it because a few Neo-Palestinian lawyers can produce some pharasaical reasoning to pseudo-rationalize it?

Look, I don't support BDS. I have never supported it. I actively violate it on a regular basis. I've been working on two book deals with Israeli authors in the last week alone. But this outrageous, infuriating, disgusting attempt to literally FORCE Americans to economically submit to the Israeli economy makes me want to put every single God-damned Neo-Palestinian on a boat tomorrow. And I am pretty sure I know exactly where those Americans who are less well-inclined to Israel will want to put them. The mere fact that the Neo-Palestinian lobby in the USA could even entertain such an abominable action, let alone imagine that it is even remotely Constitutional and attempt to put it into effect, makes five things eminently clear to every single American.
  • Jews are not and can never be Americans. They are a distinct nation with their own homeland and their own interests, some of which are totally incompatible with American interests and values.
  • Jews do not understand the first thing about America. They don't fathom the core American concept of liberty any better than the average Amazonian tribesman or Swedish socialist does.
  • There was never any such thing as a "Judeo-Christian" heritage. There are no "Judeo-Christian" values. That is propaganda created in the mid-20th century and utilized to help pass the 1965 Naturalization Act that demographically destroyed the USA.
  • All those nations that kicked the Jews out over the last two thousand years probably had good reasons for doing so.
  • Marco Rubio is an enemy of the American people. This is exactly why you should never elect immigrants and the children of immigrants to rule over you.
As a very good friend to Israel, President Trump HAS GOT to veto this bill if it ever crosses his desk, and he should promise to do so right now. In fact, even on its way out, the Netanyahu government would be wise to order the morons in AIPAC to reverse course on this legislation immediately; even the ADL understands that this is going to backfire, explosively, on the people of the very nation it is intended to help.

S.1 is not good for the Jews, it is more akin to assisted suicide. I will not support any politician who supports it, votes for it, or signs it, no matter what party they claim to be. Furthermore, I strongly suspect that the decision to push this provocative and obviously unconstitutional law now is part of the Republican establishment's plan to kill the Wall, defend the Swamp, and primary President Trump in 2020.

Cleaning out the Trotskyites

I wish we were seeing as many senior-level resignations from the various Federal agencies too, but as I pointed out before Trump even took office, a high rate of turnover is a very good thing in the Trump administration:
Department of Defense chief of staff Kevin Sweeney has become the third senior Pentagon official to resign from his post since President Trump announced his intentions to withdraw US troops from Syria. In a brief statement posted on Saturday evening, Sweeney said: 'I've decided the time is right to return to the private sector. It has been an honor to serve again alongside the men and women of the Department of Defense'.

He steps down from the position just two years after accepting the role.... In last night's statement, Sweeney made no mention of the President but a source told CNN the White House actually forced the retired Navy Admiral out of the door.
Given the fact that the media isn't even hinting at any possibility that Trump will back down on the shut down, it feels as if we might actually see some positive action later this month.

Build the Wall. Drain the Swamp. Repeat as needed.

Why Israel is Auschwitz

Much more elegantly than I could have explained it, in The Virtue of Nationalism, Yoram Hazony explains why nationalists and Israelis are intrinsic allies, and why the liberal imperialists of the neo-liberal world order, of every heritage, hate Israel and equate Zionism with Nazism.
In taking up arms in the name of their own national state and their own self-determination, the Jews, as many Europeans and others now see it, have simply taken up the same evil that led Germany to build the camps. The details may differ, but the principle, in their eyes, is the same: Israel is Auschwitz.

Try to see this through European eyes. Imagine being a proud Dutchman today, whose nation held high the torch of freedom in that hopeless uprising against Catholic Spain, a war of independence that lasted eighty years. “Yet I am willing to give this up,” he says to himself, “to sacrifice this heritage with its dreams of past glory, and to say good-bye to the state founded by my forefathers, for the sake of something higher. I will make this painful sacrifice for the sake of an international political union that will ultimately embrace all humanity. Yes, I will do it for humanity.” Yet who is it that stands against him? Who, among the civilized peoples, would dare turn their backs on this effort, blessed by morality and reason, to attain at last the salvation of mankind?

Imagine his shock: “The Jews! Those Jews, who should have been the first to welcome the coming of the new order, the first to welcome the coming of mankind’s salvation, instead establish themselves as its opponents, building up their own selfish little state, at war with the world. How dare they? Must they not make the same sacrifices as I in the name of Enlightenment and reason? Are they so debased they cannot remember their own parents in Auschwitz? No, they cannot remember—for they’ve been seduced and perverted by the same evil that had previously seized our neighbors in Germany. They have gone over to the side of Auschwitz.”

Thus it is not just by coincidence that we constantly hear Israel and its soldiers being compared to the Nazis. We are not talking about just any old calumny, chosen arbitrarily or for its rhetorical value alone. In Europe, and wherever else the new paradigm has spread, the comparison with Nazism, absurd though it may be, is natural and inevitable.

This answers the question of how it can be that, at some very fundamental level, the facts do not seem to matter: How it can be that even where Israel should easily be recognized as having justice on its side—where it acts in self-defense, and with painstaking restraint—the country can be pilloried in campaigns of vilification that bite deeper and hit harder with every passing year. How it can be that after the destruction of the Israeli security zone in South Lebanon, and after Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the hatred of Israel only grows more full-throated.

The answer is that while hatred for Israel may, at a given moment, be focused quite sincerely on certain facts about the security zone or the Gaza Strip or the Turkish blockade runners, the trajectory of international disgust or hatred for Israel is not driven by these facts. It is driven by the rapid advance of a new paradigm that understands Israel, and especially the independent Israeli use of force to defend itself, as illegitimate down to its foundations. If you believe that Israel is, in some important sense, a variant of Nazism, then you will not be very impressed by “improvements” in Israeli policies or public relations. An improved Auschwitz is still Auschwitz.

One may well ask: If this is right, and the comparison between Israel and the most odious political movement in European history is hardwired into the new paradigm of international politics that is quickly advancing upon us, then will not individuals who subscribe to this paradigm reach the conclusion that Israel has no right to exist and should be dismantled?

The answer to this question is plain. Of course this comparison leads to the conclusion that Israel has no right to exist and should be dismantled. And why not? If Germany and France have no right to exist as independent states, why should Israel? And if so many are prepared to remain dry-eyed on the day that Britain and the Netherlands are finally gone, why should they feel differently about Israel? On the contrary, while Jews and their friends continue to speak in dread of “Israel’s destruction,” this phrase is no longer feared among those who have embraced the new paradigm—some of whom are already permitting themselves to fantasize in public about political arrangements that will permit the Jewish state to cease to exist.
The logic is perfectly straightforward and clear. If Israel has the right to exist, so does Germany, France, England, the Netherlands, and America. If the European nations do not have the right to exist, sovereign and secure in their own homelands, neither does Israel.

This is why there is no longer a place for Neo-Palestinian supremacists like Ben Shapiro and Dennis Prager among the nationalists of Israel or the USA. Philosemites and Christian Zionists would be very well advised to reject those deceptive wormtongues and pay attention to Israeli nationalists like Hazony, Feiglin, and van Creveld instead.

New haters, new fans

Some of the low-status lobsters were very upset to discover that humanity's greatest thinker, Jordan Peterson, was literally too stupid for law school.
  • i like his construction much better than yours. in terms of contribution to human experience, he trumps your nonsense. did you just call him a moron? someone who saved lives of so many men? turned their lives for the better? how can you disregard all that robot?
  • “When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.”  Unfortunately, you are majorly lacking humility.  I get what you’re saying but the posturing with your scores and outbursts toward the audience exposes your arrogance.  Arrogance is inherently unintelligent especially when as it relates to effective communication. Can’t imagine this trait has played out well in your personal relationships. How can you pretend to be a Christ follower even though this displayed your utter contempt for anyone not on your intellectual level?  Are you not a charlatan by claiming you are a Christian and explicitly going against a directive by God to be humble?
  • Let it go man! We get it... you think you're smarter than Peterson and you deeply resent him being celebrated and rich instead of you. Why don't you use that IQ of yours to figure out how to overcome your wounded ego?
  • I guess we should not listen to JP ? Please tell me how his message will make this god aweful intellectual MESS of a worldview worse?(post moderism) If you find nothing positive in what he says then...Why attack him? Why not show some of that obviously high powered intellect and present something that makes makes better sense? I don't give a fart in a whirlwind what JPs IQ is. And you have not impressed me in the least. He does not strike me as a pompous asd.
  • Joe rogan was a large part of why jordan blew up. I saw him on there and I have gotten at least half a dozen ppl to follow him. Whats not organic about that. Ur a bitter bald man. Lol owen Benjamin smarter than peterson? U are bitter my friend.
  • Your smart enough to figure out how to make a buck off someone else's success, and your doing it by simply providing a contrary position and picking random holes in an othewise positive doctin for the sake of itself. Your a just a critic and thats easy low IQ territory. Thats what you bring to the table. Petsrsons maps od meaning is difficult to undetstand for you becauae yout not interested in doing the ground work to really understand what he is saying, and you dont want to understand because then you would have nothing to talk about. Bravo. How about adding something positive or constructive to the conversation?
On the other hand, people who are actually listening to the new audiobook - now available exclusively at the Arkhaven store - have found the case it presents to be conclusive, if not downright lethal.
  • I wasn't impressed with Jordanetics until about chapter six when I realized I was listening to an intellectual murder, and the first few chapters had simply been you setting up your kill room. Thanks for writing the book, and for breaking it down in such an easy-to-follow way.
  • I finally received the book. It's brutal. Some sections are probably in violation of the Geneva Conventions.
I found the first review to be particularly amusing, as it reminded me of the late Bane's review of The Irrational Atheist almost exactly 11 years ago.
It is the kind of writing that compels me to write, and he does all of your thinking for you, so you don't have to do anything but lay back and enjoy it. So far. And what a work of art it is. So far. It grabs you by the nose with velvet gloved fingers, pulls you around where it wants you to go...I am reminded of the Francis Dollarhyde character in Manhunter, when he is giving the slide show to the creep reporter Freddy Lounds, saying "Do you see?" as he takes Freddy from one scene of horror to the next.
I rather like the title of "Intellectual Serial Killer". All the fun and none of the mess.
