They just keep going off script

Muslim students blame the Democratic Party politicians and activists who have been relentlessly hurling hate speech at Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for the violent events in New Zealand:
Muslim students have berated Chelsea Clinton at a vigil for the victims of the New Zealand mosques massacre, saying she is to blame for the attack.

Clinton, who is pregnant with her third child, was attending the vigil at New York University on Friday when senior Leen Dweik began castigating her in an astonishing moment caught on video.

'This right here is the result of a massacre stoked by people like you and the words that you put out into the world,' says Dweik, gesturing to the vigil for the 49 who were killed in Christchurch when a white nationalist shooter stormed two mosques.

'And I want you to know that and I want you to feel that deeply - 49 people died because of the rhetoric you put out there,' Dweik continues, jabbing her index finger toward Clinton as other students snap their fingers in apparent approval of her words....

According to NYU student Rose Asaf, who posted the video on Twitter, students at the vigil were angry about Clinton's accusation last month that Rep Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat, used 'anti-Semitic language and tropes' while criticizing Israel.
It's rather amusing to see how bewildered the media is about this unanticipated reaction. "Wait, you're supposed to blame the false flag on white supremacists, WHITE SUPREMACISTS! How can you possibly screw this up?"

I have to admit, I know that the rhetoric of "anti-semitism" is losing its effectiveness, but I never anticipated it backfiring to such a degree, and in such an amusing manner.

Moral and intellectual bankruptcy

What, precisely, comprises "elite" status in the USA today?
Lessons? Here are two. First the good news: We are shocked by the actions of these parents precisely because there is so little corruption in America. If the problems were as systemic as some on the Internet believe, they would hardly raise such an outcry. Denizens of countries where bribery is a way of life look at us and say, "Amateurs."

The second lesson is not as comforting. Operation Varsity Blues is further evidence of the bankruptcy of American elites. For over a decade now, the legitimacy of elites in politics, foreign policy, central banking, journalism, religion, and economics has crumbled as reality failed to match their rhetoric. Education is the latest sphere where elites have betrayed our country's institutions and our country's people by using wealth and connections to rig the rules of the game.

The scandal also points to the flagrant hypocrisy of Hollywood liberalism. No class is more moralistic, more hectoring, more obnoxiously activist than the Hollywood left. They barrage Americans with displays of their virtue, their calls to humanitarianism, their paeans to multiculturalism and feminism, their slanders of President Trump, Vice President Pence, Republicans in general, and conservatives in particular. And they have great sway in national politics. A Democrat's future depends on the beneficence of Hollywood donors—donors who were well represented among the individuals charged in Operation Varsity Blues.

The entertainment industry liberals talk a good game. But look at their actions. Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey are synonymous with predation. Jussie Smollett was a B-list celebrity until he faked a hate crime against himself and blamed it on supporters of Trump. Now we have actors breaking the law so their kids can go to USC.

Why on Earth should we take political cues from these people? By what right do they portray themselves as enlightened, as advanced, as more sophisticated than half the country, even while they lie, cheat, steal, and assault?
There is nothing genuinely elite about the modern faux-elite. They are not our moral, intellectual, or even physical superiors. They are uniformly frauds, from their dyed-hair on the top of their heads to the lifts they wear in the soles of their shoes. Most of them are not even very attractive or physically fit.

Announcing UNAUTHORIZED

Owen Benjamin, Vox Day, David the Good, and Infogalactic are pleased to announce UNAUTHORIZED.TV.

The Intellectual Outlaws of the Internet

Daily streams and premium content from the most intelligent, the most outrageous, and the most innovative minds on the planet.

Hours of free content every single day!

We launched this a little sooner than we'd planned, due to the fact that YouTube demonetized the Big Bear yesterday afternoon. But we already have over one hundred hours of content, including the Darkstreams, Voxiversities, and Owen's shorts and live shows.

The premium content is coming soon, but there is no real difference between the $10 Basic subscription and the $25 Premium monthly subscriptions, it's just about how much support you're willing and able to offer the channel. Most of the content is, and will remain, free. The $5 Feed the Bear subscription is a replacement for Owen's YouTube memberships and primarily supports the Big Bear.

There is beta streaming functionality already built into UNAUTHORIZED, so I will do a subscribers-only stream test today to see how it works. If possible, I'll also test it with Restream to see if simultaneous streaming is an option.

Never let a false flag go to waste

New Zealand's prime minister wastes no time in attempting to disarm the New Zealand populace:
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern is calling for change following the country's deadliest mass shooting ever.

On Friday morning, at least one shooter opened fire at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, leaving at least 49 dead and dozens more injured. Ardern qualified the shootings as a "terrorist attack" in a morning news conference, saying this will remain "one of New Zealand's darkest days."

Ardern revealed more details about the shooter in a news conference later in the day, saying the "primary perpetrator" used five guns in their attacks. They had a gun license to carry the "two semiautomatic weapons and two shotguns," and they got that license in November 2017, Ardern continued. So given that fact — and that there had been three failed "attempts" to change gun laws in the past — Ahern pledged "our gun laws will change."
The same tactic worked in Australia and England, after all. Not so well in the United States, where the descendants of the American Revolution know better than to permit themselves to be disarmed by their government.

Consistent with their values

Disgraced director James Gunn is back at Disney:
James Gunn has certainly been on a roller coaster of a ride with Disney and his role on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. First, he was fired. Then, Disney wouldn't hire him back. Then, Gunn's script was going to be used. Now, Gunn has been hired back to direct.

Shockingly, Disney has changed its tune about Gunn, according to Deadline. He will both write and direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which currently does not have a release date.

Back in July 2018, Gunn was fired by Disney when controversial tweets, from many years prior, resurfaced where Gunn made joked about pedophilia and rape. Walt Disney Studios chairman Alan Horn said, "The offensive attitudes and statements discovered on James' Twitter feed are indefensible and inconsistent with our studio's values, and we have severed our business relationship with him."
It would appear those "offensive attitudes and statements" are no longer inconsistent with Disney's values. As if they ever actually were.

UPDATE: Disney never even considered getting another director. The whole Gunn "firing" was simply a charade performed for the public in order to take the heat off Disney.
James Gunn is back as director of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 — and it sounds like Disney never seriously explored a replacement after all.

Gunn, who was fired from the Marvel superhero sequel last summer when old tweets of his joking about rape and pedophilia were resurfaced, on Friday confirmed reports that he has been rehired for the project.

Vol. 3 was originally expected to be released in 2020, but preproduction was put on hold last August after Gunn's firing. Reports suggested that Disney was launching a search for his replacement so the movie could go forward, with The Hollywood Reporter writing that the studio was taking a "measured approach in their search for a director." Rumors swirled for months about who was being considered, and Vice director Adam McKay suggested in an interview that he had discussed possibly taking over the project.

But The Hollywood Reporter now reports that "what almost no one knew" until today was that Marvel and Disney had actually "never undertaken a search" for another director at all and, in fact, had "gone back to Gunn and made a deal...in secret." Deadline similarly reports that the decision to bring back Gunn was made "months ago" and that Marvel "never met with or considered any other director."

Dual-citizen, dual loyalties

Although, in some cases, dual loyalty would be a marked improvement:
In 1915, ex-President Theodore Roosevelt, at a convention of the Catholic Knights of Columbus, bellowed: “There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism … German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans, or Italian-Americans. There is no such thing as a hyphenated American who is a good American. The only man who is a good American is a man who is an American and nothing else.”

The New York Times headline the next morning:

“Roosevelt Bars the Hyphenated.”

It continued: “No Room in This Country for Dual Nationality, He Tells Knights of Columbus. Treason to Vote as Such.”

What would Roosevelt think of the dual citizenship of many Americans today? If someone is a citizen of more than one country, how do we know where his primary allegiance lies?

Does not dual citizenship, de facto, imply dual loyalty?

Nor was the Rough Rider alone in his alarm. As America edged toward intervention in the European war, President Woodrow Wilson, too, tore into “the hyphenates”:

“The passions and intrigues of certain active groups and combinations of men amongst us who were born under foreign flags injected the poison of disloyalty into our most critical affairs. …

“I am the candidate of a party, but I am above all things else, an American citizen. I neither seek the favor nor fear the displeasure of that small alien element amongst us which puts loyalty to any foreign power before loyalty to the United States.”

In another address, Wilson declared:

“There is disloyalty active in the United States, and it must be absolutely crushed. It proceeds from … a very small minority, but a very active and subtle minority. It works underground but it shows its ugly head where we can see it, and there are those at this moment who are trying to levy a species of political blackmail, saying: ‘Do what we wish in the interest of foreign sentiment or we will wreak our vengeance at the polls.'”

What did Ilhan Omar say to compare with that?
Jesus Christ said, "A man cannot serve two masters." How is it, then, that an American citizen can hold foreign citizenship?

This may amuse you

It's a little bizarre to see the difference in the way I am perceived by the Reprehensibles, which is to say the Darkstream viewers, as opposed to the way the Dread Ilk see me. This comment by EA may amuse some of the more longtime readers:
I wonder why Vox is so interested in ranks and titles among men and organizing in general. He calls himself sigma which I take means a reluctant leader. Yet it seems to me that he has a desire to lead or organize people in some fashion. Otherwise why be so interested in military strategy and even go as far as inventing labels to apply to people that he percieve to behave a certain way?

I'm not going to pretend to understand how men think. But is not a reluctant leader more likely to mind his own business and prefer solitude over the constant grind that is modern drama and politics on the internet. I imagine a sigma to be a hermit or a quiet man that's able to face any situation calmy. That if given the opportunity would be the greatest alpha on the planet, but he don't want it.

I think Vox might actually be a bit of that which he hates the most, a gamma. A self aware or rehabilitated gamma maybe, because unlike a real sigma he is rattled by people that challenge him on the internet. In role playing terms I think this if Vox:

Name: Vox
Title: Dark Lord
Class: Multi-class - 25% Alpha | 25% Gamma | 50% Delta
Proficiency: Charisma, Intellect.
Weakness: Illusion and mind altering spells (Psychologically fragile, emotional)

But what do I know, I'm happy not being a part of the hiearchy at all. I'm just a mischievous woman.
I'm so interested in the subject that I stopped posting at Alpha Game and I'm so desperate for attention that I turned down multiple requests for interviews from the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation earlier this week. I don't talk to the media, I don't accept speaking invitations, and I don't do book signings or book tours.

Where do people get these ideas about motivations and objectives of others? Is it all just solipsism and projection?

Outraged by reality

The senator is absolutely correct, which is why his observations on the New Zealand shootings have sparked such outrage among the reality-challenged:
A controversial federal MP has sparked outrage for blaming Islamic immigration for the Christchurch mosque shooting which has killed 49 people.

Independent Queensland senator Fraser Anning said while any form of violence could never be justified, the growing fear of the 'increasing Muslim presence' was behind the massacre.

'The real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program that allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place,' he tweeted shortly after the Friday afternoon shootings.
Every mass movement of peoples has always ended in bloodshed, sooner or later. Why would anyone expect the current migration cycle to end any differently?

And this prediction is particularly apt: As always, left-wing politicians and the media will rush to claim that the causes of today's shootings lie with gun laws or those who hold nationalist views but this is all cliched nonsense.

New Zealand = false flag

UPDATE: The shootings in New Zealand were almost certainly the first of the false flags everyone who has been paying attention has been anticipating. The paid shills are out HARD on this one trying to put out the fires being set by everyone who notices the highly cheesy nature of the so-called manifesto or the unlikely prospect of a very fit young Aussie who looks a lot like an SAS officer being inspired by a Norwegian to attack a mosque in New Zealand in order to defend gun rights in the United States.

---

Martin van Creveld warned you. I warned you. The history of the Islamic invasions of Europe and the reconquest of Spain warned you. The entire recorded history of the movement of peoples warned you. Of course, the inevitability of the historical trends is not going to even slow down the feigned media "shock and outrage" narrative that will greet the events in New Zealand that may be the beginning of Reconquista 2.0, the next phase in the conquest of the West, or simply a clumsy false flag designed to do anything from a) trigger war with Iran, b) justify the further suppression of inalienable rights, or c) derail the growing popularity of the nationalist right.
Two gunmen opened fire at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand, at 1.40pm local time on Friday. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said 49 were killed. 41 were killed at Masjid Al Noor Mosque, seven at Linwood Masjid Mosque and one died at hospital.

48 people were rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds and 20 are in critical condition. One of the gunmen live-streamed the deadly attack on Facebook using a GoPro in footage too distressing to show. It was posted on a Facebook page belonging to Brenton Tarrant. It is understood the killer is an Australian-Brit who published a chilling 74-page manifesto before the rampage

Cops have arrested three men and a woman - with one found wearing a suicide vest. New Zealand Police commissioner Mike Bush said a man in his late twenties has been charged with murder and will appear in court tomorrow.
As I have written before, and will no doubt have to write again and again, the blood of the victims on both sides is on the hands of the evil politicians and activists who opened the borders of the nation-states of the West to foreign invaders. There is a reason Muslims refer to the lands outside the House of Submission as the Dar al-Harb, the House of War.

Dar al-Harab is a term classically referring to those countries where the Muslim law is not in force, in the matter of worship and the protection of the faithful and dhimmis. It is unclean by definition, and will not become clean until annexed to the House of Peace. Its denizens are either to be converted, killed or, if people of the book, tolerated as long as they pay the jizya.

So, don't bother pretending to be shocked or upset. The bloodshed in Christchurch is what has always happened when rival civilizations clash as a result of one group of people moving into the territory of another group of people. The media never even pretends to shed any tears when dozens of Christians are regularly murdered in their churches in Pakistan, Egypt, and elsewhere in the Middle East. And if the brave men and women of the armed forces had simply defended their nations from Islamic invasion instead of massacring hundreds of thousands of innocent men, women, and children everywhere from Afghanistan to Somalia, ordinary men and women would feel no need to become resistance fighters in their own lands.

If, that is, anyone has actually done so, as there are more than a few distinctly false notes throughout the entire manifesto, which makes me very reluctant to accept the scenario at face value. The entire document felt very cut-and-pasted, and as if it had multiple authors, at least one of whom was trolling the reader.

UPDATE: Apparently option (c) was the correct answer.

Judeo-Christian values, take 34,752

I'm sure everyone is just astonished at the news that one of the greatest warriors against anti-semitism biggest grifters on the planet has finally been publicly exposed as being less than entirely morally upstanding:
The SPLC fired Morris Dees yesterday and announced it today. Multiple sources have told me that the allegations of inappropriate conduct involve sexual harassment incidents. Multiple incidents that have come to light after an initial recent allegation.
More of those fine Judeo-Christian values at work again, no doubt. The thing is, this guy has been known to be a creep for forty years. Apparently his crossroads deal expired.

And don't forget this: Facebook, Amazon, Google and Twitter all work with or consult the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) in policing their platforms for “hate speech” or “hate groups.”

Frauds all the way down

Disney is not only replacing canon in its ongoing brand destruction, it's replacing the need for customers:
New reports of empty theaters for Captain Marvel’s weekend showings are the latest in the movie’s ongoing controversy. A number of Twitter users indicated there were empty seats at a number of Captain Marvel showings over the weekend.

We spoke with a movie theater manager who asked for anonymity. He told us they had “exactly 25 no shows for every showing of Captain Marvel on Thursday through Saturday.”

The manager told us this was definitely abnormal, “It’s definitely not normal. People usually show up when they pay for tickets…I’m not sure what it is, we’ve seen big groups not show up before, but they get refunds.”

I asked whether or not these tickets were purchased in bulk, but that information isn’t available, “I’m not sure if they were bought all at once because Fandango doesn’t give us that information, but exactly 25 no shows for every show is probably statistically impossible.”

The manager would add, “I would say it’s someone trying to make the ticket sales look better than they really were.”

He would also indicate he saw significant drop offs in ticket sales from Sunday at his theater, “Sunday for Captain Marvel wasn’t good and Monday and Tuesday were terrible. They were like a 75% drop off from Sunday.”
This is how the corporate cancer known as SJW metastasizes. Once it devours one aspect of the business, the need to protect the narrative requires devouring another aspect of it.

Compare the first five days of Black Panther to Captain Marvel.
  1. 75.9 61.7
  2. 66.0 52.9
  3. 60.1 38.8
  4. 40.2 11.0
  5. 20.8 14.6

Brexit means Brexit

The push for a re-vote on staying in the EU is voted down by the British Parliament:
MPs tonight voted against a second referendum on Brexit for the first time as Remain MPs prepare to seize control of the agenda to push Britain to a soft Brexit.

A proposal by the Independent Group to demand a new public vote on Brexit has failed after Labour and even the official People's Vote campaign deserted the move.

The bid for a second referendum was crushed 334 to 85 in a blow to the hopes of campaigners who want a new vote.
Apparently no MP is eager to face the voters after telling them they have to vote until they vote for rule by Brussels.

An Infernal Economy, Canto II

For those who missed it, Canto I

An Infernal Economy

Canto II

At the peak of a lofty precipice
A noisome stench wafted high in the air,
And yet my guide commenced to reminisce
As if there was no mirksome foulness there.
It was ever so at the cycle’s peak,
He said with a rueful shake of despair.
Greed, whispered words, and an air of mystique
Brings the innocent lambs to the slaughter.
They hope to catch on to the winning streak,
Doomed, from the start, come hell or high water.
But justice they’ll have, for here it is found,
Payback for each duplicitous fraudster.
He showed me a path that led further down,
Deeper into that corpse-scented chasm.
O Guide, do warn me what we’ll find here bound,
What sort of odoriferous phantasm?
I know not how I shall hope to bear this,
For much I feared an internal spasm
Was imminent, given the foul abyss.
But I soon forgot my sense of affliction
As we looked upon the flowers of Dis.
For there was planted without restriction
An orchard such as none have ever seen,
Nor will see outside of Hell’s jurisdiction.
Displayed in a form well beyond obscene
The bodies of men, dead, yet living still.
Everywhere faces of treacherous mien
Staring at us with palpable ill will,
Flippers of mortgages, sellers of stocks,
Feeders of hedge funds, and then, the great shill.
I saw the mastermind, Ponzi’s Fox
Buried to his waist in the stinking mire,
His skin all covered by a weeping pox.
Is that who I think it is, my good sire?
Indeed, acceded the wise with grim smile,
Be glad we pass when the tide is higher
You would not fain see beneath the muck vile
Below is where the worms them devour.
We walked over stones along the defile,

Dark was the sky and late was the hour.
We passed chasms filled with human debris
Hearing screams of those in evil’s power,
And still I shed no tear of sympathy
Nor did the master once slacken his stride.
Who could ever feel any empathy
For those accursed with such towering pride
Beyond we saw a great red-golden glow
Downward we strode and downward did we slide
Toward a gleaming pit through which did flow
The river of Midas in full advance.
Bubbling, boiling, burning and so
Scalding the servants of debt and finance
That they shrieked, and wept, and shamelessly cried.
The archaic current took its vengeance
On politicians from every side.
A fitting reward I had to admit
For the predicament they’d caused worldwide.
In silence we walked on past the dread pit
Sublime, it was, verily to behold,
And a prodigious heat did it emit.
Leaving behind that great river of gold
Beneath my feet was no more stone but ice.
Darkness descended and also the cold,
I shivered, and hoped the guide would suffice
To ensure we were permitted to pass
This Fimbul-winter of devil’s device
That Zero Kelvin would hardly surpass.
Then I saw two shades held in ice confined
A frozen embrace thus holding them fast.
Their eyes, tormented, showed madness of mind
And snow on the beard of one could be seen
Their arms were locked and their fates intertwined.
As none could hope to ever intervene.
Freezing though I was, colder my blood ran
Upon realizing that icy scene
Was Ben Bernanke and Alan Greenspan.
Entrapped in cruel bonds of hard liquidity
My guide gestured round with expansive hand
They damned themselves by their cupidity.
Live by the target, then die by the rate,
This is the consequence, naturally.
They sold for credit the soul of the state.
Finance first and foremost was their belief
Thus they encouraged assets to inflate
While withholding from the public relief.
Then we left the maestro and the scholar
In ongoing committee of boundless brief.

Not far now was the king of the dollar
Toward him, my guide urged. If your eyes avail
To espy him, go and see the squalor
Ere the last Trump and the epic fail
Of the king of the kingdom of despair
And out of the ice, at such mighty scale
I saw a giant beyond all compare
His ghastly visages were thricely florid,
Although mayhap they were once passing fair
Afore his constitution fell morbid.
Entrapped was he, by that which held the two,
Central bankers caught on that plain horrid,
Liquid flowed down causing ice to accrue
And held that monster fast about the waist.
Each of his three mouths endeavored to chew
What turned out to be an awful repaste.
Three great sinners now great evil endured.
The first called schoolmaster, now in poor taste,
His legs dangled as his head was tortured.
The second was once a president too,
Twelve long years a thief, his fate was assured.
The third morsel managed to so construe
A crisis as to hold nations hostage,
Arrogance such as the world never knew.
Look well on them, for this is the knowledge,
The fruit of the tree of economy
Which will in the end human action judge.
Man is not born into man’s slavery
Nor may he be ruled, even in defeat,
Through the will of another’s knavery.
Ergo the reliance upon deceit
By those who dare think to control the land,
Theirs is no more than the fatal conceit,
Oft shattered by the invisible hand.

Thus ends the second canto.

Republicans go openly anti-American

This doesn't surprise me in the least; I've been criticizing the uniparty since at least 2004. But I expect this Senatorial betrayal will anger more than a few Republicans:
The Republican-led Senate is set to deal President Donald Trump a rebuke on his declaration of a national emergency at the Mexican border, with the only remaining question how many GOP senators will join Democrats in defying him.

Republicans are predicting that Thursday’s showdown vote will result in Congress sending Trump a resolution blocking the border emergency he proclaimed last month to steer an extra $3.6 billion to building border barriers.

Since the Democratic-controlled House approved the measure last month, the Senate vote would force Trump to use a veto to protect his presidential campaign’s “Build the Wall” mantra over objections from his own party....

With Republicans controlling the Senate 53-47, just four GOP defections would be enough to approve the resolution canceling Trump’s border emergency.

Lee became the fifth Republican to say they’d back the resolution after Trump called him during a private lunch of GOP senators to say he opposed Lee’s compromise bill. The call was described by two officials who weren’t authorized to discuss the matter publicly and described it on condition of anonymity.

Soon afterward, Lee issued a statement saying he’d support the resolution blocking the border emergency. “Congress has been giving far too much legislative power to the executive branch,” Lee said. He said he’d vote to block Trump’s emergency because his own bill “does not have an immediate path forward.”

The other GOP senators who have said they will vote to block Trump’s border emergency are Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Kentucky’s Rand Paul.
This is a perfect example of the uselessness of so-called "representative democracy". The Founding Fathers were wrong. Mob rule would be vastly preferable.

An Infernal Economy, Canto I

After seeing the Big Bear on his Dante kick, it occurred to me that very few of the new readers of the last 10 years would be familiar with my own little foray into terza rima, which was originally published in the appendix of The Return of the Great Depression.

An Infernal Economy

Canto I

In a dark woodland I espied a bear
Vicious, hirsute, with a low, evil brow.
His stinking breath befouled the woodland air;
A roar, and animal spirits somehow
Vanished, like ghosts dissipating in mist,
Taking with them fully half from the Dow.
I knew not how I should hope to resist
This great beast, when before me then appeared
A genius, albeit one much dismissed,
For espousing truths both exact and feared
By men parsimonious in wisdom.
"No man, yet I act," said him I revered,
"To spare thee much needless pain have I come!"
Then he raised a gleaming sword of pure gold
Before which the terrible beast did succumb
And turn away. Thus inspired I made bold
To inquire of insights he might convey.
"No, I shall not teach, instead shall I scold.
Come, thou shalt witness how ends the soiree!"
We found ourselves before a wide Abyss
From which came moans and cries of great dismay,
The regrets of men who'd been so remiss
As to believe markets will always rise.
"Speak, damned broker," I said with a hiss,
To a wretched shade with dark, haunted eyes,
All naked but for his well-tattered suit.
"Every long-term chart showed we were wise."
He protested, his contrition acute.
"Dollar-cost averaging, interest compound,
We thought they invested risk free, absolute!"
My Guide laughed, it was a cold, hollow sound
Of scorn for innocence so misplaced.
"That which goes up must finally come down,
And asset inflation will be retraced.
For growth cannot last indefinitely
When debt is rising and money debased."
Behind us we left that sad misery,
Weeping and wailing under the cliff's edge,
Descending down to the second degree.
There we encountered the god of the pledge,
Visa, the Master of living and dead.
Who sneered at my Guide: "From whence didst thou dredge
This old fossil, academic unread
By my countless servants, my serfs, my slaves?
He shall not enter, but for thee, instead
I'll offer a card that actually saves
Thee five percent even as thou doth spend!"
Temptation rushed o'er me, enticing waves,
Cast by the fat goblin off'ring to lend
Me all that I wanted, and more beside!
"Stand fast, man, and do not think thou shalt bend!"
So spoke my Guardian, the consummate Guide,
Who, bare-handed, tore that false god in half!
"His day is done, comest thou alongside.
Seest the shades blown like wheat amidst chaff?"
Throughout the depths blew a most fearsome wind
Hurling poor souls around, all the riff-raff
In mighty numbers, those fools who had sinned,
Caught up in the feverish gluttony
Of consumption, and now, too late, chagrined.
They tumbled through clouds of fiat money,
Faith rendered faithless in one mad moment,
Then came a pair still in matrimony
Bound. They shrieked and fought for they did resent
The ties that held them linked close together
In bitter rage and mutual dissent.
The woman cried, clawing at her tether.
Impoverished, angry, seeking divorce,
And falling for the netherest nether
They plunged to the depths like a Russian bourse.
"New house, new clothes, new car financed with debt
They married for better, but found the worst,"
Said the Master without sounding upset.
"So now, they can't even pay for a split!"
Such countless horrors no one could forget,
Happily did I that fell mirk acquit.
But new torments I saw, new terrors. I found
Myself standing in the midst of a pit,
Where an icy rain came tumbling down
Upon the unjust, and the unjust alone,
For there the just in their absence abound.
Suffering journalists wept to atone
For lying deceits practiced on the crowd.
While above towered three heads overgrown
From one horrid shape better disavowed,
Kudlow and Cramer and Bartiromo.
Three slavering heads drooled and barked aloud:
"Buy with both hands, this is doubtless the low!"
All the while snapping and snarfing up dirt.
Souls sold for nothing, not even a show,
No newspaperman had so much as a shirt
As hatless, shoeless, they froze in the rain,
Lamenting the truth they'd tried to pervert.
Shivering, I asked to depart this plane
A request to which my Guide acceded.
Thus we abandoned the media's bane,
The encroaching ice quickly receded.
Before us there stood rows of mighty stones
And behind each a small man proceeded
To push it back and forth, with moans and groans,
Across the dismal field of outsized dreams.
"Economists," I heard the amused tones
Of the Guide, "and duly damned for their schemes
That served as the key to open the door
For terrible tax-and-spending regimes."
I spared but a brief sigh for Nobel's whore
As we fell to a field of sepulchers
Uncovered and belching forth with a roar
Crimson flames that seared those entrepreneurs
Of finance, gamblers, investment bankers
Who played games with exotic wire transfers.
Those who had been for their banks anchors
Howled in unending agony, the fire
Fueled by derivatives, lethal cankers
Of financial cunning that now require
Unthinkable time to fully unwind.
Until then, each screams in his stone pyre.
No more could I bear, horror smote my mind,
I reeled before sights I could not forget.
And then my adviser did me remind
We'd yet to meet the political set.

Got to punch that ticket

People are literally committing crimes to try to get their children into universities considered prestigious:
The scheme was uncovered by the FBI and federal prosecutors in Boston, who discovered that dozens of parents had paid a total of $6million in bribes to get their children into elite schools including Yale, Stanford, Georgetown, and UCLA. In many instances the children were unaware that their parents had paid these bribes, according to federal documents.

Most of those charged either paid to get higher SAT scores or faked an athletic resume that, with the participation of a bribed college coach, helped the children get accepted to a college as a team's recruit. Prosecutors said in court on Tuesday that some students also lied about their ethnicity on applications to take advantage of affirmative action.

William Rick Singer, the founder of Key Worldwide Foundation, had been identified as the alleged mastermind behind the scandal. The documents claim that since 2011, Singer has received $25million from parents which was used to payoff or bribe individuals who could 'designate their children as recruited athletes, or other favored admissions categories'. In his biography on the website for the Newport Beach-based Key Foundation, Singer is heralded for his ability to get children into the college of their choice. Singer is also praised for 'helping students discover their life passion, and guiding them along with their families through the complex college admissions maze'.

Huffman paid a $15,000 'charitable contribution to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her eldest daughter,' according to the complaint. She also 'later made arrangements to pursue the scheme a second time, for her younger daughter, before deciding not to do so'.

The charging documents state that Huffman had the site where her daughter took the SATs moved from her own high school to a test center in West Hollywood. Her test was then administered by a proctor who had flown in from Tampa and told investigators that he 'facilitated cheating, either by correcting the student's answers after the test or by actively assisting the student during the exam'. In this case, Huffman's daughter scored a 1420 out of 1600 in December 2017, which was a 400 point improvement from her PSAT results just one year prior....

Problems arose however when Olivia's guidance counselor became curious as to how she managed to receive admission based on her involvement in crew since she did not row.  At the same time, Loughlin complained that her daughter was having difficulty filling out her other college applications, prompting Singer to ask an employee to take care of the task. This was done so as not to draw attention to the fact that it was already confirmed Olivia had received conditional admission to USC.

At some point, there was a very heated and public altercation between Giannulli and the counselor, which elicited an email from Heinel asking that it not happen again in the future so as to avoid detection.  Everything began to fall apart in October 2018 when the IRS audited Key Worldwide and began to look into donations made by parents whose children were then admitted to USC. Loughlin and Giannulli were told by Singer to say they had given the $500,000 to the foundation to help 'underserved kids.
The whole system is going to collapse soon. The lawsuit filed by a number of Asian families against Harvard is almost certainly going to expose far worse practices being committed systematically by the universities themselves as a result of collusion between the admissions offices and a specific identity group that dominates the admissions offices.

They say it can't be done

But Santo Matteo has proven otherwise. The graph below shows the reduction in the number of refugees entering Italy from 2017 through March 11, 2019. Of course, the Italians do have centuries more experience in resisting invasion of their borders upon which to draw.

A refusal to learn

You see this napkin? In 24 hours, we could have the signatures of 70 Senators on this napkin.
–Steven Rosen, AIPAC

Questioning support for the U.S.-Israel relationship is unacceptable.
–Rep. Juan Vargas, D-CA

If this capitol crumbled to the ground, the one thing that would remain would be our commitment to aid — I won’t even call it aid — our cooperation with Israel.
–Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-CA

AIPAC now seems acutely sensitive to the appearance of dual loyalty. The theme of this year’s AIPAC conference was “Israel, an American Value”.
–Jeffrey Goldberg, The New Yorker

How reassuring is it that the only American who upholds the core values of liberty, patriotism and freedom is a black Muslim and an immigrant…
–Gilad Atzmon

Those who refuse to learn from history are condemned to repeat it. The level of unmitigated stupidity and total lack of foresight on every side is simply astonishing.

Even if you don't believe in God, you'd do well to pray, because neither science nor politics is going to get anyone out of this.

A secret king in action

I've been asked on occasion what I mean by "Secret King wins again!" This example should help demonstrate what I'm talking about. It's in reference to a question about my recent Darkstream addressing Jordan Peterson's appearance at the Trilateral Commission:
Badbadnotgood Goodgodnotbad
Why didn't you use the video where someone questioned him about holodomor, a far better example to show his intentional blind spots.

Darkstream
Because the point is not to show his unwillingness to address a specific issue, but rather, his inability to intelligently answer a straightforward question even when he is willing to do so.

Badbadnotgood Goodgodnotbad
Darkstream ugh caught you out mr Vox.... Your main point of the video was how he intentionally avoids answering questions and reverts to rehearsed dialogue to divert away from the questions topic. Not that he is a useful idiot and doesn't have the ability to, as you specifically point out his subversive flip flopping of meanings and focusing on the notion of the state rather then the nation. The holodomor video Would have been a perfect example of addressing his true intentions of which you were trying to show with the first.
This is a perfect example of why everyone hates gammas, even other gammas. They can't ever accept an answer to a question, because they never ask an honest question. Every question is simply a trap designed to allow them to show everyone what a Smart Boy they are. If you ever want to know why I simply ignore many questions that are posed to me, well, now you know.

Notice that almost every other comment testifies to what an effective demonstration the video and the related commentary were. But that's not good enough for the gamma male, because his way is always the better way, especially when it obviously isn't. After all, the fact that he's now banned just proves how threatened I am by his obvious intellectual superiority, right? Secret King wins again!

On a more positive note, this comment definitely won the thread:
Q- Dr. Peterson, how will democracy survive?
A- THE INDIVIDUAL IS THE FOUNDATION OF THE COSMOS!
I'll admit it. I laughed.

Mailvox: behind the Brexit theatrics

An update on the latest from our Brexit insider:

UK Attorney General Geoffrey Cox has issued his latest legal guidance on the documents that Theresa May brought back from Strasbourg last night. The legal risk remains unchanged. As expected, Theresa May simply continued her ‘failure theatre’.

There is no method for Britain to exit from the terms of the Withdrawal Agreement unilaterally if there are simply “intractable differences” between Britain and the EU. Since the reason that we are leaving the EU in the first place is due to “intractable differences”, of course those differences are not going to be resolved in the matter of the Irish Border. The Attorney general said the “legal risk remains unchanged” and the “fundamental circumstances remained the same”

Theresa May was attempting to obtain something that would allow Geoffrey Cox to change his advice and recommend the approval of the Withdrawal Agreement, using some sort of codicil, which was given the name ‘Cox’s Codpiece’. The Attorney General was adamant that everything within his codpiece should be in good working order.

Britain can still use the 1970 Treaty of Vienna to cancel any international agreement, regardless of whether that agreement includes a exit clause. Remember that the most fundamental principle of English constitutional law is that no parliament may bind a future parliament.

The Labour Party’s finance spokesman, effectively the #2 guy in the party, said yesterday that the priority is to defeat the government. The Northern Ireland Democratic Unionist Party, upon whom Theresa May depends for the existence of her government, said just now that they will vote against the Withdrawal Agreement. The European Research Group of Conservative Party Brexit supporters, led by Jacob Rees-Mogg will also vote against the Withdrawal Agreement.

So, my prediction is that this evening, Theresa May will be defeated by a similarly huge margin to her defeat in January.

The Labour Party could then legitimately call another ‘no confidence’ motion to dissolve the government, but that would not be successful. No one wants a general election. There is also no mechanism to involuntarily remove Theresa May prior to December 2019. She would have to be persuaded to step down, and there is no indication that she would agree. Fortunately, complete paralysis is a good situation at the moment because the legal default position is ‘no deal’.

During the vote Withdrawal Agreement in the House of Commons tonight, Brexit supporters will move an amendment to rule out a second referendum. This is calling the bluff of the ‘People’s Vote’ campaign, who decided not to move an amendment to have a second referendum. They decided this because there simply isn’t the support in the Commons for another vote. It is likely that Theresa May will support the ruling out of a second referendum because that has always been her position.

This is a clear indication that the Remain supporters know that their position is weakening. National opinion polling has ‘no deal’ at 44% and ‘remain’ at 30%, with presumably a large slice of ‘don’t know’ in the middle. Almost no one wants Theresa May’s deal.

Although Theresa May cancelled the votes on ‘no deal’ and ‘delay’ scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday respectively, I suspect these votes will nevertheless happen. The House of Commons will reject the concept of ‘no deal’ and ask for a delay. The EU will then refuse an extension because the UK doesn’t have a plan to achieve agreement to the Withdrawal Agreement, and therefore we will have ‘no deal’. The House of Commons just doesn’t want to be the ones that actually choose ‘no deal’.

UPDATE: 14 MPs have switched sides to support Brexit in our time!
Sky News: 14 MPs have switched sides and will vote for Theresa May’s deal. She now just needs to persuade another 102 MPs to change their opinion to get her deal approved. i.e. She still needs a miracle. The atmosphere in the chamber is being described as “funereal”. The last rites of the Conservative Party.

Fake concession is fake

The British Prime Minister's utterly predictable fake dramatic gesture "winning an important concession from the EU at the last minute" appears to have gone down in legal flames:
The Attorney General today delivered a fatal blow to Theresa May's hopes of winning her 'last chance' Brexit vote tonight by admitting the 11th hour deal struck in Strasbourg last night failed to change his legal advice.

Geoffrey Cox has admitted the legal risk of Britain being trapped forever into EU rules through the Irish backstop 'remains unchanged' and that new concessions only 'reduce' this risk.

The DUP and Tory Brexiteers are now likely to reject the Prime Minister's deal tonight having suggested they would only change their minds if the Attorney General changed his advice.

Mr Cox's bombshell dropped after Jeremy Corbyn has demanded MPs kill-off Theresa May's renegotiated Brexit deal as the Prime Minister prepares to make a last-ditch plea to her own MPs to vote through her deal tonight.

She will warn them that Britain may never leave the EU if they refuse to back her tonight.

Tory Brexiteers and Northern Ireland's DUP had been waiting to see if Geoffrey Cox tweaked his legal advice before deciding to vote for it.

Mr Cox earlier spoke out on Twitter to blast claims he was 'told to find a way' to change his mind as 'b*****ks'.

Rebel Tory Brexiteers and the DUP are today combing over the detail after the Prime Minister last night announced 'legally binding changes' to the controversial Irish border backstop after a dramatic dash to Strasbourg yesterday and last-minute talks with Jean-Claude Juncker.

Former Brexit Secretary David Davis tweeted: 'This all now depends on the Attorney General's legal advice. It is critical that he confirms we can escape this backstop.'

Theresa May will make a direct pitch to MPs at 11.30am and hopes the changes to her deal will be enough to win backing for her plan from rebel Tory Brexiteers and the DUP in the meaningful vote tonight and secure Britain's exit from the EU on March 29.
No deal is the best deal. The British MPs don't need to vote for May's ridiculous plan in order to "secure Brexit". Britain will leave the EU regardless of whether the Parliament backs the Prime Minister or not. All of these Parliamentary shenanigans are merely meant to provide cover to the elite's obvious desire to abandon democracy and overturn the will of the people.  But I doubt these efforts will work because if the current British elite had the confidence to openly declare that democracy is dead and they will rule as they see fit no matter what people want, we wouldn't be subjected to these embarrassingly stupid theatrics in the first place.

Shut down Facebook

If there is one thing upon which the Left and the Right can both agree, it is that Facebook should be broken up:
In a letter published when his company went public in 2012, Mark Zuckerberg championed Facebook’s mission of making the world “more open and connected.” Businesses would become more authentic, human relationships stronger, and government more accountable. “A more open world is a better world,” he wrote.

Facebook’s CEO now claims to have had a major change of heart.

In “A Privacy-Focused Vision for Social Networking,” a 3,200-word essay that Zuckerberg posted to Facebook on March 6, he says he wants to “build a simpler platform that’s focused on privacy first.” In apparent surprise, he writes: “People increasingly also want to connect privately in the digital equivalent of the living room.”

Zuckerberg’s essay is a power grab disguised as an act of contrition. Read it carefully, and it’s impossible to escape the conclusion that if privacy is to be protected in any meaningful way, Facebook must be broken up.
The reason both Left and Right can agree on this is because there are multiple reasons that Facebook should not be permitted to continue operating. It is a criminal enterprise. It is a monopoly. It is treasonous, and it is an ongoing attack on several unalienable American rights protected by the U.S. Constitution.

I find it more than a little bizarre that Republicans have not seized upon the breakup of Facebook and other social media giants as a signature policy in their 2020 campaign platform, because it is not merely a popular position, it is not only the right thing to do, but it is manifestly in their best interest.

There will be no impeachment

The Democrat-controlled House publicly backs down:
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in an interview that she opposes moving to impeach President Trump even though she believes he is “unfit” for office — her first definitive statement on the subject and one that stands to alienate members of her own Democratic Party who are intent on ousting the president.

“I’m not for impeachment,” she said in a March 6 interview conducted for a future issue of The Washington Post Magazine.

“This is news,” she added. “I haven’t said this to any press person before. But since you asked, and I’ve been thinking about this, impeachment is so divisive to the country that unless there’s something so compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan, I don’t think we should go down that path because it divides the country. And he’s just not worth it.”
Interesting. I wonder what's going on behind the scenes that inspired this sudden lack of appetite for direct conflict with the God-Emperor? Other than the fact that the Special Investigator has turned up nothing despite two years of digging for dirty laundry, of course.

On racial supremacy

From The Times of Israel:
Israeli lawmaker proclaims supremacy of ‘Jewish race’

A lawmaker from the ruling Likud party said Wednesday that the “Jewish race” is the smartest in the world and possessing of the “highest human capital,” which is why, he said, the Israeli public did not buy into the allegations of wrongdoing by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. “I can tell you something very basic,” Zohar said during the Radio 103FM debate. “You can’t fool the Jews, no matter what is the media writes. The public in Israel is a public that belongs to the Jewish race, and the entire Jewish race is the highest human capital, the smartest, the most comprehending. The public knows what the prime minister is doing for the country and how excellent he is at his job.”

In a follow-up interview with Hadashot TV news, Zohar at first denied that he had spoken about the supremacy of the “Jewish race,” but, presented with a recording of his earlier comments, doubled down and reiterated: “The Jewish people and the Jewish race are of the highest human capital that exists.”

“What can you do? We were blessed by God… and I will continue to say that at every opportunity,” he said. “I don’t have to be ashamed about the Jewish people being the Chosen People; the smartest, most special people in the world.”
A gaffe, as they say, is when one accidentally speaks the truth.

And yet, the average Jewish IQ in Israel is 98.7. The average GDP per capita in Israel is 53.4 percent that of Norway, despite the fact that the Norwegians do not receive $3.8 billion in annual handouts from the USA.

As Mr. Zohar demonstrates, whatever their racial genius may be, it does not appear to be in public relations.

Not-Americans embrace socialism

It's hardly a surprise that the least American generational cohort in US history is also the most socialist-friendly:
Generation Z has a more positive view of the word "socialism" than previous generations, and — along with millennials — are more likely to embrace socialistic policies and principles than past generations, according to a new Harris Poll given exclusively to Axios.

Why it matters: The word "socialism" does not carry the same stigma it did in the past, now that it has been resurrected by celebrity politicians like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Young people's political views often change as they grow older, but their support for socialistic policies is a sign that the old rules of politics are changing fast.
And they're also increasingly tribal. One positively wonders what could possibly come after the inevitable failure of Neo-Palestinian rule. Such a mystery....

Jordan Peterson at the Trilateral Commission

I just wish I'd had this transcript in time to include it in Jordanetics. If you're still not convinced the man is a complete intellectual fraud, just watch his speech at the Trilateral Commission on the prospects for the survival of democracy:
What can we do in order for democracy to survive? So I would like that to be the main theme for our conversation and I can simply leave it with an advance, and ask you, so what does it take, and, and what can you do?

Well, I should tell you first what I've been talking to people about. So my wife and I have been on a hundred-city tour since January, and I've spoken to about 250,000 people over the course of that in Australia, New Zealand,  and throughout the U.S. and Canada. Some in Europe, mostly in the UK, in the Scandinavian countries, I'm coming back here in March, then to go through the South in them and the East. When I speak to audiences I always watched people one by one because I never speak to the crowd and always listened to the entire audience, because what I'm trying to manage when I'm speaking is to put everybody in the same place so that there's dead silence. Because if there's dead silence, that means that everybody's concentrating on the same thing and that everybody has come to a collective agreement that that thing is up substantive importance, and the most reliable means of silencing an audience of 2,500 people, regardless of where that is around the world, is to make a strong case for the relationship between suffering, meaning, and responsibility.

And the, the case for suffering, I think, is quite obvious, because one of the things that I point out to my listeners is that life has a tragic element and we all are perfectly aware of that, and then we're subject to that as fragile and finite creatures, and that, that tragic element is amplified by the human proclivity for malevolence, psychological level and at a social level and that's the reality that we find ourselves confronted with, eternally in some sense, and that the proper antidote to that is not the pursuit of happiness, and it's not even the existence of the individual rights that are part of the substructure of democratic society, but the willingness to accept voluntary responsibility for those preconditions and then working to rectify them. And the corollary of that is that it's almost inevitably the case that people find the meaning that sustains themselves through suffering, and that enables them to be motivated sufficiently to constrain their own malevolence is to be found in the adoption of responsibility, and it's surprising that a message that has that much weight, let's say, and that little frivolity, because there's no frivolity,  let's say, in that silence, is people, can democracy survive?

Well, first of all, if you ask the typical person in the democratic society whether they would like it to survive you're going, the resounding answer to that, it's going to be yes. The people who are working to undermine it are a tiny radical fringe on both ends of the political distribution, let's say, with a disproportionate amount exposure and power, and the people in the middle are lost in some sense without a uniting narrative. And a huge part of the narrative that is united democratic countries, since their foundation isn't the doctrine of rights, and it's not the doctrine of individual happiness,  it's the doctrine that the individual is the sovereign foundation of the, of the polity, and maybe of the cosmos itself, which is something that I happen to believe given the important rule that consciousness plays in existence itself,  and that it's useful and necessary to call to people to remind them of their responsibility as sovereign individuals.

And so I'm encouraging people to adopt,  to develop a vision for their life, to adopt full responsibility for themselves, in a manner, and not in a manner that's that pertains specifically to their narrow self-interest or happiness, but to something that's much broader in scope, to think that each person should take on the voluntary requirement to take care of themselves, but also their future self, because each of us is a collective that stretches across time. And whatever you do impulsively in the present merely means that you sacrifice yourself in the future, and that's not a sustainable or intelligent solution, and you want to take on a responsibility for yourself and your future selves in a way that's of maximal benefit to your family, if you can manage that, and then, perhaps, if there's something left over in terms of your capability, then you can do both of those things in a way that maximally supports and serves the community. And for many young people that's something they've never heard is that we'd be in a very bad case too, we've made a very bad case, all of us, I would say.

I would say that each of these people, each person has that sovereign responsibility, and that if they adopt it, that actually constitutes something of singular importance, and that's an old religious idea, in some sense, that each person has a soul, let's say, that is somehow a center of reality itself, and that that needs to be manifested in life itself,  and that if it isn't manifested, then something of tremendous value is not brought forward. And worse, and this is the end of the case, let's say, and worse, to the degree that that's not brought forward then something hellish moves in to take its place And people understand this sort of thing a lot more clearly than you might think, if you explain it to them as if they might understand, and then it gives them a seriousness of purposeness that straightens out their life. And so my sense is the way that you revivify democracy is by remembering its fundamental insistence that the individual is at the cornerstone of the state, and then everything you can possibly do to fortify the individual, simultaneously, the individual is the eyes of the state, the living individual is the eyes of the dead state, and the living individual revivifies the state.

And to the degree that we forget our concentration on the sovereignty of the individual, right, the divine sovereignty of the individual, for that matter, then we undermine the foundation on which democracy is based and then people look for alternatives. They search for meaning elsewhere, extremist movements of one form or another, or they collapse into a kind of nihilism that's completely counterproductive. And so, well, so that's been my experience.
This is the nonsense for which tens of thousands of marks pay hundreds of dollars to subject themselves. Notice despite all that useless, bafflegarbling word salad, he never even answered the questions he said he was going to address. And notice too the way in which he never stops selling his con.

How on Earth is the individual taking the sovereign responsibility for himself going to affect, in any way, the problem of foreign elites corrupting the political process to serve their own ends rather than the national interest? How is the mass acceptance of the voluntary requirement to take care of your future self going to hold dishonest representatives accountable for running on one set of policies and then governing on a wildly different one? How is what Peterson said even remotely relevant to the eminently justified widescale loss of faith in a political system that manifestly fails to deliver on its claims to represent the collective will of the nation?

Lock her up

Does this investigation explain why Hilary Clinton uncharacteristically decided not to run in 2020?
After it claimed no such document existed, the Justice Department just unearthed a letter Matt Whitaker delivered to the Utah U.S. attorney directing a review of how the department handled the Clinton Foundation and the Uranium One issues.

Then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions wrote the letter on Nov. 22, 2017 for Utah U.S. Attorney John Huber. Matt Whitaker, who was Sessions’ chief of staff at the time, emailed the letter to Huber that day, writing, “As we discussed.” He also sent Huber a copy of a letter the Justice Department’s Congressional affairs chief sent to the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee on Nov. 13 of that year.

The existence of a letter documenting Sessions’ directive that the DOJ revisit probes of Trump’s top political foe is a surprise because a department lawyer said in court last year that senior officials insisted it didn’t exist. The liberal nonprofit American Oversight obtained the letter through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request they filed on Nov. 22, 2017––the same day Whitaker emailed Sessions’ letter to Huber.

The request asked for documentation of the directions Sessions gave Huber about the review of the Clinton investigations. After DOJ failed to produce any written directions, American Oversight sued.

And on Nov. 16, 2018, Senior Counsel in the Office of Information Policy Vanessa Brinkmann, who handles FOIA Requests, said a lawyer in Sessions’ office told her no such letter existed. That lawyer spoke with Huber and Whitaker, she said in a declaration filed in federal court, and then told her that “when the Attorney General directed Mr. Huber to evaluate these matters, no written guidance or directives were issued to Mr. Huber in connection with this directive, either by the Attorney General, or by other senior leadership office staff.”

That wasn’t correct. On Wednesday of this week, a DOJ lawyer told American Oversight that they had found the document that kicked off Huber’s work.

The letter, which American Oversight provided to The Daily Beast, is consistent with what the DOJ’s chief of legislative affairs has told Congress: that Huber is scrutinizing the sale of a Canadian uranium mining company with interests in the United States to Rosatom, a Russian state-owned company. Republicans have long alleged that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton declined to oppose the deal because of contributions to the Clinton Foundation.
Whether you believe anything that Q says or not, never forget that there is always an awful lot going on beneath the surface of the mainstream Official Story, and even the most confirmed media skeptic has no idea what most of it could possibly be.

Slower, please

Or much better yet, not at all. Bill Lind considers the latest neocon push for war with Iran:
Last week’s most important news event received remarkably little press.  According to the February 14 New York Times, shortly after landing in Poland for a major international conference, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu committed truth.

No sooner had he landed that the prime minister’s Twitter account announced “an open meeting with representatives of leading Arab countries, that are sitting down together with Israel in order to advance the common interest of war with Iran.”

In case anyone doubts that this was a case of committing truth, the Times reported that “An hour later, the Twitter posting was changed to ‘advance the common interest of combating Iran.’”

So Israel wants war with Iran, and so do several Arab states with loud voices in Washington, especially Saudi Arabia.  From an American perspective, the problem is that both the Israelis and the Saudis will want the United States to fight the war for them.

This promises to be the Iraq war all over again.  American neocons were major players then in devising a new strategy for the destruction of every Arab country that could be a threat to the Jewish state.  Iraq was first on the list.  But then, as now, America was supposed to do the fighting, take the casualties and pay the bill.  The neocons worked on a president who had little understanding of foreign policy (though Trump is a great deal brighter than W.) to do their bidding, and he fell for it.  The result was a disaster for America and the region (and, ironically, Israel).  We lost more than 5000 young Americans dead, tens of thousands wounded, trillions of dollars wasted, and the Iraqi state destroyed, to the benefit of Fourth Generation, non-state entities such as Al Qaeda and ISIS that are real threats to the U.S. and Israel, which Saddam’s Iraq was not.  We also destroyed the main regional power that was blocking Iran’s quest for regional dominance.

Now, we are supposed to make up for that blunder by going to war with Iran.  The result would likely be even worse.
When defeat is disastrous and victory arguably even worse, the wise move is to not go to war at all.

Altering the balance

Even defense industry experts are beginning to acknowledge the gradual alteration in the balance of global military power as its planetary supremacy is observably slipping away from the US military:
The US keeps losing, hard, in simulated wars with Russia and China. Bases burn. Warships sink. But we could fix the problem for about $24 billion a year, one well-connected expert said, less than four percent of the Pentagon budget.

“In our games, when we fight Russia and China,” RAND analyst David Ochmanek said this afternoon, “blue gets its ass handed to it.” In other words, in RAND’s wargames, which are often sponsored by the Pentagon, the US forces — colored blue on wargame maps — suffer heavy losses in one scenario after another and still can’t stop Russia or China — red — from achieving their objectives, like overrunning US allies.

No, it’s not a Red Dawn nightmare scenario where the Commies conquer Colorado. But losing the Baltics or Taiwan would shatter American alliances, shock the global economy, and topple the world order the US has led since World War II.
Granted, the RAND analysts have serious incentives to find problems to which they can sell the answers. But that doesn't necessarily indicate that the vulnerabilities they describe do not exist, especially when they are describing scenarios very similar to what other observers have pointed out.

I don't believe there is anything that can be done that is going to seriously slow the growth of regional power at the expense of the global power, especially because I believe we have already passed the point of peak globalism, for at least this cycle and possibly for good.

I suspect this is why the neocons and other Israeli imperialists are so desperate for war, almost any war, these days despite the American public's complete lack of interest in waging any additional ones. They are clearly aware that the USA is only going to be less powerful, and less capable of military intervention around the world, in the future.

Breaking Hollywood

Neon Revolt has a plan, courtesy of DirectorAnon:
Most of my readers will know by now that I spent a considerable amount of time in Hollywood, trying to work my way through the ranks, only to be stifled by the identity politics quickly taking root out there during the Obama years.

But the second I read this, I almost jumped out of my chair. I knew immediately that #DirectorAnon wasn’t LARPing, because of this post alone.

It’s almost hard for me to explain to people who haven’t lived and experienced anything out there, but film and TV are basically a two-tiered caste-system.

You have people who are “Above the Line” and people who are “Below the Line.”

Those above, are the head-honchos. The director, the actors, the writers, the producers. They’re called “above the line” because… basically, they get access to royalties and such in their contracts.

Everyone below the line –  the crew, the gaffers, the technicians, etc… They’re all paid hourly. It’s real grunt-work, but it’s the kind of stuff that has to get done, in order for a production to happen. After all, someone has to build the sets, set up the lights, rig up the mics, have craft services ready for when everyone gets hungry, etc, etc, etc.

and IATSE is THE union controlling all these guys.

Every single studio production, be it film or TV, works with IATSE labor. That’s just the way it works out in Hollywood. Every studio is legally bound to use them.

And IATSE guys are like… 90-95% white.

IE: The exact demographic its okay for all these monied, soft-handed execs like Franklin Leonard to hate on so much.

What DirectorAnon is proposing here is a mass IATSE walkout.

In other words, what he’s proposing would completely shut Hollywood down.

In the meantime, a crew man, GafferAnon, explains what you can do to shut down the Pedo Palace:
Make the money dry up.
Stop going to the movie theaters.
Stop using the products they pimp.
Stop paying to be entertained.
Just stop. Stop buying tickets and then complaining about how they inserted SJW poison into your favorite franchise. Stop making snarky comments and posting negative reviews about movies you paid to see. Stop supporting those who hate you, hate your politics, hate your faith, and hate your nation. Stop funding your own destruction!

I have not been to a movie since The Return of the King came out in 2003. I will never see another Hollywood movie in the theater. Anyhow, be sure to read both linked posts in their entireties, as there is a copious amount of information in them.

The threatened Alpha

Why on Earth is the God-Emperor attacking Ann Coulter?
Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
Wacky Nut Job @AnnCoulter, who still hasn’t figured out that, despite all odds and an entire Democrat Party of Far Left Radicals against me (not to mention certain Republicans who are sadly unwilling to fight), I am winning on the Border. Major sections of Wall are being built and renovated, with MUCH MORE to follow shortly. Tens of thousands of illegals are being apprehended (captured) at the Border and NOT allowed into our Country. With another President, millions would be pouring in. I am stopping an invasion as the Wall gets built. #MAGA
I think the president's response is better understood via the socio-sexual hierarchy than through politics. Trump knows better than anyone else that he's failing to deliver. He can sense his support crumbling; alphas are very sensitive to these things. And alphas highly value female opinion, as it is female approval of them that most clearly highlights their distinction from men lower in the hierarchy.

So, Coulter's brutal appraisal of the president's near-complete failure on the most important issue of his campaign stings him to his core. Coulter, by the way, almost certainly knows this and she is not attempting to tear the president down, but rather to motivate him to stop listening to the cucks and foreigners and bad economists around him and start living up to his promises.

The challenges are manifold, even though Trump is genuinely doing more to address the problem than any president since Eisenhower and he is meeting staunch and formidable opposition. But he is betrayed by his own preference for negotiated settlements and expectations of rational behavior on the part of his opponents, and by his own civic nationalism. Unless he is willing to declare no-quarter, go scorched earth on the issue, and actually behave as if he is facing a genuine national emergency of existential proportions - which he legitimately is, whether he is able to grasp that or not - he is going to fail on all three of the primary issues upon which he was elected.

That doesn't mean he has been a failure. Far from it! He has been an excellent president and he will be justifiably re-elected in 2020. The problem is that after more than 50 years of relentless foreign invasion, the situation is so dire that mere excellence will not suffice.
