Indiegogo bounces their CEO

Indiegogo has had some serious layoffs of late:
Indiegogo  has a new chief. Andy Yang will take over for outgoing CEO David Mandelbrot, who is stepping down. According to sources close to the company, several other Indiegogo employees are also leaving. Indiegogo has yet to confirm this claim or state the number or reason for their departure.

Mandelbrot announced the move on LinkedIn, citing “personal reasons” as why he’s leaving. He was at Indiegogo for six years, starting as SVP of Operations in August of 2013.

Andy Yang  comes to Indiegogo from Reddit,  where he was most recently leading its product team. He was previously the CEO of 500px.

Yang comes to Indiegogo at a critical time for the company. Consumers are increasingly becoming jaded by crowdfunding projects that leave backers without their promised product. Under Mandelbrot’s leadership, he helped Indiegogo net several key partners, including General Electric and Lego. The company also enlisted the help of several manufacturing and marketing professionals to help backers make projects into products.

TechCrunch requested an interview with Yang, but has yet to be granted that request.
I tend to suspect their numbers aren't going to look a whole lot better anytime soon. Watch out for that falling rubble!

No place for white male politicians

It looks like Creepy Joe is all but done already in the race for the Democratic presidential nomination:
Former Vice President Joe Biden lost one of his top fundraisers after controversial comments regarding his work with past segregationists and his flip-flop on repealing the Hyde Amendment, CNBC has learned.

Tom McInerney, a veteran San Francisco based lawyer, informed Biden’s team on June 20 that he can no longer help him raise campaign cash to compete in the 2020 presidential election. “I had actually let the campaign known I’d pulled back my support of Biden for now,” McInerney told CNBC. “I don’t think he did well last night,” he added, reflecting on Biden’s debate performance on Thursday night.

While McInerney is the first financier to publicly withdraw his support after Biden’s controversial round of comments, the loss is significant because it could be a harbinger of further defections.

“I would imagine I’m not alone,” said McInerney, who was a lead bundler for President Barack Obama in his first run for president. He helped Obama’s campaign raise at least $200,000 throughout that cycle, according to the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics.
Democrats are the party of Diversity. It's only right that their candidate properly represent all the Diversity and Vibrancy and Inclusivity for which they stand.

Ben Shapiro on Jesus Christ

BS: From a Jewish point of view, where we don't believe in the divinity of Christ. There you can make an argument, that the Gospels which were written significantly-

JR: He was just a prophet.

BS: No, no, no. We don't even think he was a prophet.

JR: What do you think he was? What do you guys think he was?

BS: Well, I, I, I, what do I think he was historically? I think he was a Jew who tried to lead a revolt against the Romans and got killed for his trouble. Just like a lot of other Jews at that time who tried to lead revolts against the Romans and got killed for their trouble.

JR: So he became legend, and story, and it became a bigger and bigger deal as time went on.

BS: Yeah, he had a group of followers and that gradually grew.

JR: Do you think he was resurrected?

BS: No. That's not a Jewish belief.

JR: Okay. I just wanted to check.

BS: We're not into miracle stories, no. That's not.

JR: You don't have any miracles?

BS: Not by Jesus. There was in the Old Testament. Yeah, you've got Moses splitting the sea and all that.

JR: What do you think happened there?

BS: What do I think happened there? I'll go with my Maimonidean explanation. There was, it says in the Bible, there was a strong east wind. So there was a naturalistic explanation for a physical phenomenon.

JR: That makes sense.

BS: That's what Maimonides is constantly trying to do.

Big Bear sums up Shapiro and the so-called conservatives who are foolish enough to support him against the interests of their nation, their families, and their faith in a succinct manner: If you're a Christian and you just heard that and you ever support him again, you're a liar, you're a satanist, and you're evil.

The inescapable historical fact is that Muslims have FAR more in common with Christians than Jews do. It is considerably more accurate to talk about shared Islamo-Christian values than Judeo-Christian values. Notice that Shapiro's Maimonidean answer about Jesus Christ is very, very different than even the non-believers of Jesus's day, as well as being very different from whom we believe Jesus Christ to be.

When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
- Matthew 16:13-17

H1B horror

If you weren't afraid to fly before, you will be now that you know how Boeing is producing its 737 flight software:
It remains the mystery at the heart of Boeing Co.’s 737 Max crisis: how a company renowned for meticulous design made seemingly basic software mistakes leading to a pair of deadly crashes. Longtime Boeing engineers say the effort was complicated by a push to outsource work to lower-paid contractors.

The Max software — plagued by issues that could keep the planes grounded months longer after U.S. regulators this week revealed a new flaw — was developed at a time Boeing was laying off experienced engineers and pressing suppliers to cut costs.

Increasingly, the iconic American planemaker and its subcontractors have relied on temporary workers making as little as $9 an hour to develop and test software, often from countries lacking a deep background in aerospace — notably India.

In offices across from Seattle’s Boeing Field, recent college graduates employed by the Indian software developer HCL Technologies Ltd. occupied several rows of desks, said Mark Rabin, a former Boeing software engineer who worked in a flight-test group that supported the Max.

The coders from HCL were typically designing to specifications set by Boeing. Still, “it was controversial because it was far less efficient than Boeing engineers just writing the code,” Rabin said. Frequently, he recalled, “it took many rounds going back and forth because the code was not done correctly.”

Boeing’s cultivation of Indian companies appeared to pay other dividends. In recent years, it has won several orders for Indian military and commercial aircraft, such as a $22 billion one in January 2017 to supply SpiceJet Ltd. That order included 100 737-Max 8 jets and represented Boeing’s largest order ever from an Indian airline, a coup in a country dominated by Airbus.
I have had just one experience working with Indian software developers, when I was designing a game-training tool for 3M. To say that they were completely incompetent would have been an exaggeration, as in the end, they did manage to get a very basic, ugly version of what I had designed working. But I would estimate that they were about one-tenth as competent as the worst Western programmer with whom I ever worked.

Think about how poorly Skype and the average application works today in comparison with five years ago. Now apply that level of technological degradation to literally everything that involves putting people in the air and transporting them from one place to another.

Then again, the first rockstar programmer I ever knew was a young Indian who was the best programmer at my father's company despite being hired right out of college, and who is still a brilliant programmer and entrepreneur. But that was literally the opposite of outsourcing. So, it's not that Indians simply can't do it, it's that the probabilities don't favor outsiders attempting to determine who can and who cannot.

Mailvox: another reason for cancelling student loan debt

A bankruptcy lawyer explains how student loan debt is often just the first domino:
Here's what practical experience has taught me in the thousands of bankruptcy cases I've filed for clients: student loan debt perpetuates bankruptcy filings.

A pattern is emerging. Clients making $25,000-$40,000/year with student loans see us every decade to file a new Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. Why? They take out predatory loans and use credit cards to stay afloat. Why? Because the ~$50,000 in student loans wasn't discharged in the last bankruptcy. There are limited programs to get around the debt temporarily, but most are stuck in the cycle.

In a sense, the predatory loans and credit cards they are taking out again and not paying are paying the student loans they're stuck with (i.e. the money being paid on the student loans is offset by dischargeable debt they later take bankruptcy for to stay afloat). It's a vicious cycle.
There are a number of bad reasons to not discharge student loan debt, but there are no good reasons. Literally nothing good is going to come of trying to squeeze even more blood from those particular stones.

An informative interview

The Saker has an important interview with an expert sinologist, which addresses the current stare-down between the US-led globohomo hegemony and the Sino-Russian leadership of the nationalist resistance to it.
A Sino-Russian alliance has long been seen in both the U.S. and in Europe as one of the greatest threats to the West’s global primacy and to Western-led world order. As early as 1951 U.S. negotiators meeting with Chinese delegations to end the Korean War were instructed to focus on the differences in the positions of Moscow and Beijing in an attempt to form a rift between the two. Close Sino-Soviet cooperation seriously stifled Western designs for the Korean Peninsula and the wider region during that period, and it was repeatedly emphasized that the key to a Western victory was to bring about a Sino-Soviet split. Achieving this goal by the early 1960s and bringing the two powers very near to a total conflict significantly increased prospects for a Western victory in the Cold War, with the end of the previously united front seriously undermining nationalist and leftist movements opposing Western designs from Africa and the Middle East to Vietnam and Korea. Both states learned the true consequences of this in the late 1980s and early 1990s when there was a real risk of total collapse under Western pressure. Attempts to bring an end to China’s national revolution through destabilization failed in 1989, although the USSR was less fortunate and the results for the Russian population in the following decade were grave indeed.

Today the Sino-Russian partnership has become truly comprehensive, and while Western experts from Henry Kissinger to the late Zbigniew Brzezinski among others have emphasized the importance of bringing about a new split in this partnership this strategy remains unlikely to work a second time. Both Beijing and Moscow learned from the dark period of the post-Cold War years that the closer they are together the safer they will be, and that any rift between them will only provide their adversaries with the key to bringing about their downfall. It is difficult to comprehend the importance of the Sino-Russian partnership for the security of both states without understanding the enormity of the Western threat – with maximum pressure being exerted on multiple fronts from finance and information to military and cyberspace. Where in the early 1950s it was only the Soviet nuclear deterrent which kept both states safe from very real Western plans for massive nuclear attacks, so too today is the synergy in the respective strengths of China and Russia key to protecting the sovereignty and security of the two nations from a very real and imminent threat. A few examples of the nature of this threat include growing investments in social engineering through social media – the results of have been seen in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Ukraine, a lowering threshold for nuclear weapons use by the United States – which it currently trains Western allies outside the NPT to deploy, and even reports from Russian and Korean sources of investments in biological warfare – reportedly being tested in Georgia, Eastern Europe and South Korea.

The partnership between Russia and China has become truly comprehensive, and is perhaps best exemplified by their military relations. From 2016 joint military exercises have involved the sharing of extremely sensitive information on missile and early warning systems – one of the most well kept defense secrets of any nuclear power which even NATO powers do not share with one another. Russia’s defense sector has played a key role in the modernization of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, while Chinese investment has been essential to allowing Russia to continue research and development on next generation systems needed to retain parity with the United States. There is reportedly cooperation between the two in developing next generation weapons technologies for systems such as hypersonic cruise and anti aircraft missiles and new strategic bombers and fighter jets which both states plan to field by the mid-2020s. With the combined defense spending of both states a small fraction of that of the Western powers, which themselves cooperate closely in next generation defense projects, it is logical that the two should pool their resources and research and development efforts to most efficiently advance their own security.
Remember, the world is not binary. The fact that the globohomo hegemony is pure satanic evil does not mean that either the Chinese or the Russians are good guys. But at least they don't eat people and molest children, and in the case of the Russians, hate Jesus Christ and persecute Christians.

Needless to say, Vladimir Putin's remarks on the failure of liberalism and globalism are quite pertinent here:
So, the liberal idea has become obsolete. It has come into conflict with the interests of the overwhelming majority of the population.
The liberal idea failed the West because it proved to be directly contradictory to all three pillars of the West, Christianity, the European nations, and the Greco-Roman legal and philosophic legacies. It was, in the end, intrinsically anti-Western.

Losing the next war, part 37

“The Air Force considers diversity to be one of our greatest assets.”
- USAF spokesman Maj. Nicholas Mercurio

I'm sure the Chinese and Russians are quaking in their Chengdu J-20s and  S-500 Prometeys at the thought of that mighty USAF diversity.

Mexico First

On the other hand, President Trump would be much more able to run against the lunatic Democratic program if he couldn't so readily be accused of following an Israel First program:
President Trump blasted the contestants in the second Democratic presidential debate on Thursday when they all declared their support for health care coverage for undocumented immigrants.

All of the candidates — including former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Kamala Harris and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg — raised their hands when asked by an NBC moderator if they would support a health care plan that would cover undocumented immigrants.

“All Democrats just raised their hands for giving millions of illegal aliens unlimited healthcare,” Trump wrote on Twitter from Japan, where he is to attend the G20 Summit.

“How about taking care of American Citizens first!? That’s the end of that race!”
How about it, Mr. President? Israel has a wall. Where is America's big, beautiful wall? What ever happened to America First? Still, the ineptitude is astonishing.

Moderator: If you can only get one issue through, what would it be?

  • Swallwell: Ending gun violence.
  • Bennett: Climate change, and the lack of economic mobility.
  • Gillibrand: “Family Bill of Rights,” paid-leave plan, universal pre-K, daycare.
  • Kamala Harris: Tax cut for middle/working class. DACA. Guns.
  • Bernie: “We need a political revolution against the special interests!”
  • Biden: Defeat Trump.
  • Buttigieg: “Fix our democracy, before it’s too late.”
  • Yang: $1,000 Freedom Dividend for every American adult, starting at age 18.
  • Hickenlooper: Climate change.
  • Williamson: I admire the Prime Minister of New Zealand.
Williamson's response is my favorite. It's one step above "I like Oreos." Although the inability of the other three women to grasp what "one issue" means is also amusing.

One less arrow in the quiver

An invasionist laments the fact that the visual rhetoric isn't working as designed anymore:
You may look at this photo and think that its deep message is “We are all hoping for a better life and will take extraordinary risks on behalf of those we love.” But someone else will probably say, “People shouldn’t cross borders without permission.” The drowning becomes a kind of punishment, a river stands in for ideas of human authority, and the photograph doesn’t break through anything. It merely reiterates an old and cherished belief: Bad things happen to those who break the rules. … there will be efforts to make it an allegory of law and judgment rather than an opportunity for moral imagination and compassion.

The day after these two people perished in the Rio Grande, the president of the United States dismissed an accusation that he had sexually assaulted a prominent author and columnist in the 1990s. He used a phrase similar to ones he has used in the past to deflect similar allegations: “She’s not my type.” It is a terrible thing to say, with a specifically misogynistic meaning in the context of how men practice violence against women.

But it is a perfect summation of our new and deformed American conscience. It is pithy and dismissive, an invitation to look at people who have been victimized and see only otherness. It shuts down any understanding of trauma before empathy has begun to interrogate how trauma is felt and experienced. It is about looking without seeing, judging without understanding. For anyone who wants an off-ramp to the moral demands made by this image, this could be the universal caption: “They weren’t our type.”
Translation: Did you not see the DROWNED LITTLE KID? How can you not submit to our insane immigration policies when we are showing you pictures of a DROWNED LITTLE KID! And WITH HER DADDY no less! FFS, what do we have to do, drown an entire kindergarten class of refugees just to evoke the desired Pavlovian reaction from you heartless bastards!

The title kind of gives it away. "We used to think photos like this could change the world." That's just it. They did. But that was before people began to recognize that they were being rhetorically manipulated.

Listen to His Holiness

The Dalai Lama is not only a big hitter, he speaks more truth than all the politicians and corrupt churchmen of Europe combined:
The Dalai Lama has claimed 'Europe is for Europeans' and that the continent could become 'Muslim or African' if migrants are not sent back to their home countries. The Buddhist spiritual leader, who has been living as a refugee in India since fleeing Tibet in 1959, said only a 'limited number' of migrants should be allowed to remain.

During an interview with the BBC, the Dalai Lama added that refugees who have fled to Europe should be given skills before being returned. He said Europe was under an obligation to take in those who needed help, but ultimately they should be returned to their homelands. The 83-year-old said: 'European countries should take these refugees and give them education and training, and the aim is return to their own land with certain skills.'

When asked what should happen to those who want to stay in their adopted countries, he replied: 'A limited number is OK, but the whole of Europe [will] eventually become Muslim country, African country - impossible.'
He's almost entirely correct. Because the only alternative is the continent-wide war between the European nations and the migrants, refugees, and quislings that appears to have already begun in Norway and in Germany.

The only point at which I disagree with His Holiness is the idea that Europe has any obligation to take in anyone for any reason. Neither the continent nor the people who live on it are obligated to do so under any moral standard.

Seriously, stop eating people

So much for the "dehydration" story. Who do these idiots think they are fooling anyhow?
Angela Merkel has been seen shaking uncontrollably for the second time this month as fears grow for the 64-year-old German Chancellor's health. Mrs Merkel's arms and body could be seen noticeably trembling as she met Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier today.

She continually folded her arms in an apparent attempt to stop her hands and body from violently juddering. Close-up footage showed the difficulty she was having trying to keep the quivering under control as she gripped her arms together.

However, her spokesman claimed soon after that the German chancellor was 'fine'.

It comes 10 days after she blamed dehydration for the shakes she suffered during a meeting with visiting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
But it's little wonder that the German government-media complex is attempting to keep Merkel's physical deterioration under wraps, when the war for the country has already begun.
Suspect Stephan E. has admitted to the killing of conservative politician Walter Lübcke, Federal Prosecutor General Peter Frank told members of Germany's parliament on Wednesday morning. Head of a regional government in the city of Kassel, Lübcke was found dead outside his home with a gunshot wound to the head on June 2. The 65-year-old was a member of Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU).

News magazine Der Spiegel reported that Stephan E. told police the killing was triggered by remarks made by Lübcke during a townhall meeting in October 2015, on the creation of a new refugee reception center. Facing hecklers during the meeting, Lübcke said: "It is worth living in our country. Here you must stand up for values, and whoever doesn't stand up for these values can leave this country any time if they don't agree with them."
But where are those Germans who don't stand up for those self-destructive values supposed to go? Was it not always obvious that at least some of them were going to choose to stay and fight for their nation instead? As we have been repeatedly warned, there will be war.

He has to go back

Both the US Left and the US Right can agree on one thing: everyone hates the neoclown Ben Shapiro.
It is a mystery why Shapiro has any audience at all, considering his highly irritating way of speaking, jabbering away like angry chipmunk, but some powerful people REALLY want these views out there, so they push him hard, ... but we digress.

Shapiro's audience are boomers, Jews, and other assorted not too bright conservatives who have a high tolerance for nails scratching on a chalk board.

And even they aren't buying his warmongering.
He really is getting completely DESTROYED in the comments. The negative ratio is nearly 9:1. And these aren't people who realize that the Littlest Chickenhawk has been calling for war with Iran since 2005!

Slowly, they began to grok

Whitecloak finally understands:
These threads have made me sick of the MGTOW, hedonist, etc. contingents. I think I understand why VD doesn't want to take the time to deal with gammas now. Gammas are fucking tiresome.
My perspective on gammas is fundamentally Aristotelian.

"Before some audiences not even the possession of the exactest knowledge will make it easy for what we say to produce conviction. For argument based on knowledge implies instruction, and there are people whom one cannot instruct."

Gammas spend their entire lives constructing delusion bubbles capable of preventing facts, logic, and readily observable information from entering their minds. Literally nothing is capable of even getting through to them, much less persuading them, until their delusion bubble pops and they finally admit their social failure and desperate unhappiness to themselves.

They literally are not worth the time it requires to deal with them. That's why I simply ignore them and don't hesitate to ban them the moment they start acting up. They have nothing to offer but self-justification, which is why they attempt to turn every discussion towards themselves.

Well, they ARE warmongering racial supremacists....

But the clothes, they aren't quite so snappy. Anyhow, it's amusing to see warmongering racial supremacists like Ben "100% racially pure" Shapiro and Dennis "we have so much to teach the world" Prager whining about being called nazis:
Project Veritas has obtained a newly leaked document from Google that appears to show a Google employee and member of Google “transparency-and-ethics” group calling conservative and libertarian commentators, including Dennis Prager and Ben Shapiro, “nazis.”  Project Veritas received this document after the release of its investigation into Google through the “Be Brave” campaign at VeritasTips@protonmail.com.

The email apparently was sent as part of the Google “transparency-and-ethics” group internal communications and suggests that content from PragerU, Jordan Peterson, and Ben Shapiro should be disabled from the “suggestion feature.”

“…if we understand that PragerU, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro et al are nazis using the dog whistles… I don’t think correctly identifying far-right content is beyond our capabilities. But if it is, why not go with Meredith’s suggestion of disabling the suggestion feature?”
Apparently Little Benny doesn't like the namecalling so much now that he's the racist nazi being hunted down with the objective of deplatforming and disemploying him.

Get off Facebook already

Facebook is turning in those "suspected of hate speech" to law enforcement in France:
In a world first, Facebook has agreed to hand over the identification data of French users suspected of hate speech on its platform to judges, France's minister for digital affairs Cedric O said on Tuesday.

O, whose father is South Korean, is one of French President Emmanuel Macron's earliest followers, and has been influential in shaping the president's thinking on Big Tech as an advisor at the Elysee palace in the first two years of Macron's presidency.

The decision by the world's biggest social media network comes after successive meetings between Zuckerberg and Macron, who wants to take a leading role globally on the regulation of hate speech and the spread of false information online.

So far, Facebook has cooperated with French justice on matters related to terrorist attacks and violent acts by transferring the IP addresses and other identification data of suspected individuals to French judges who formally demanded it.

Following a meeting between Nick Clegg, Facebook's head of global affairs, and O last week, the social media company has extended this cooperation to hate speech.

"This is huge news, it means that the judicial process will be able to run normally," O told Reuters in an interview. "It's really very important, they're only doing it for France."
If you're still on Facebook at this point, you will deserve whatever ramifications happen to befall you as a result in the future.

The silence of the losers

The media doesn't want to talk about Google being busted for interfering illegally in the US presidential election:
The liberal corporate media has totally ignored the explosive Google exposé by Project Veritas revealing systemic efforts by the tech company to prevent President Trump from getting reelected in 2020.

CNN, WaPo, CNBC, HuffPost, The New York Times, Vox, Vice, Newsweek, Politico, and even The Daily Beast haven’t written a single piece on the devastating evidence presented by a Google whistleblower and undercover footage of a Google executive discussing how to algorithmically manipulate the 2020 presidential election.

Regardless of what one thinks of Project Veritas, the damning information they revealed is extremely relevant and newsworthy, and confirms numerous instances of anti-competitive censorship practices by Google. The media still remained silent even after a member of Congress, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), addressed the bombshell Google exposé on Twitter.

“Google should not be deciding whether content is important or trivial and they most assuredly should not be meddling in our election process. They need their immunity stripped,” he wrote.
My father was investigated for an extended period of time by the Federal Election Commission because he published an impartial and very well-regarded election guide for the 1990 Minnesota elections called People & Politics. I still remember having to walk the gauntlet of the news cameras camping out at the company offices. He was finally cleared of any wrongdoing, but they harassed him for YEARS over that. What Project Veritas has revealed is evidence of a MAJOR series of crimes that have been committed by Google and its employees.

SJWs lament the failure of demonetization

They're beginning to realize that denying access to a failing revenue model isn't working:
When YouTube wanted to punish political pundit Steven Crowder amid widespread outcry over his homophobic comments, its first move was to disable Crowder’s ability to run ads on his videos. The punishment was meant to revoke a key source of income, presenting a strong incentive for Crowder to change his behavior. But Crowder didn’t care, “This really isn’t that big of a ding for us,” he said.

Crowder sells T-shirts, hats, stickers, and subscriptions for more videos through his website, which is where he’s indicated most of his channel’s money comes from. Selling merchandise and subscriptions through other platforms isn’t just a way for creators to make more money, it’s also a way for creators to insulate themselves from YouTube’s ever-mercurial rules and algorithms. And it means that if a creator’s ads are cut off for whatever reason, they’ll still have a source of revenue.

Creators have realized that “YouTube can do whatever the hell they want to,” Wyatt Jenkins, Patreon’s VP of product, told The Verge. Because of that, they’ve started looking for ways to establish other relationships with their viewers. “They’re like, ‘If I’m going to make a run at this and do this for a living, I should probably have my best fans in my world.’”

Taking away a channel’s ability to run ads is supposed to send a message that YouTube is punishing creators who severely step out of line. The company stated as much in a June 5th blog post, reiterating that channels repeatedly brushing up “against our hate speech policies will be suspended from the YouTube Partner program, meaning they can’t run ads on their channel.” Creators also won’t be able to use alternative monetization techniques like Super Chat or channel memberships, according to YouTube.

For up-and-coming YouTubers reliant on that revenue, it can pose a huge problem. Many people just entering YouTube’s Partner Program, a threshold that signifies a creator can start earning ad revenue, may rely on that advertising money as they start their career. Channels that face day-to-day monetization issues, one of the biggest issues within the community, are struggling to understand what works and what doesn’t. But for larger creators, who still keep their ability to reach a huge number of subscribers, the punishment doesn’t necessarily accomplish YouTube’s goals.

Established creators — like Crowder, who reaches more than 4 million people — often have a large audience ready to buy products, significantly lessening the severity of the punishment. When YouTube cracked down on gun videos last year and removed ads from a number of channels, many of those channels circumvented the impact by signing sponsorship deals or starting Patreon accounts, allowing them to continue exactly what they’d been doing before.

Relying on ad revenue alone is difficult, Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg said in a video about YouTube ads last year. “It’s inefficient, it’s unstable, and an insecure revenue model,” according to YouTube’s biggest creator. Most YouTube creators “don’t sustain themselves on ad revenue,” Kjellberg said.
Translation: SJWs are going to start putting more pressure on the payment processors. This is why we're already taking action to avoid relying upon the converged major US-based ones.

The problem of sources

Unauthorized historian RFB points out that the problem of whom to believe is as old as history:
Last week I broke my sabbatical seclusion to attend a panel that my colleagues in the Department of History had organized on “Understanding the Trump Phenomenon.” The panelists covered a range of themes: climate change denialism, white nationalism, the global failure of capitalism, the latent illiberalism of American culture, and world-wide yearnings towards totalitarianism—all the usual -isms. And then they opened the floor to questions. Like a good fencer, I got my hand up first and said something about the need to think of American culture in more regional and long-range terms, particularly the differences in conceptions of liberty that David Hackett Fisher has shown to be in play, but it was already too late. The room was primed to descend into pessimism and despair, although since we're talking academics here—fellow professors and graduate students in History for the most part—it was subtle and came out mainly in the kinds of questions asked.

One question in particular had my colleagues on the panel stumped. “How,” one of our graduate students asked, after the conversation had ranged round the many ways in which the progressive liberal experiment in America seemed doomed, “do we know what news sources we can trust anymore?” Her voice rose as she spoke, in that way that I have regularly heard my friends’ voices rise over the past few weeks; even men’s voices go up as their anxieties kick in and they start pleading with the universe to make the results of the election go away. “How do we know what news sources we can trust anymore?” My colleagues made a stab at it: “Go with sources that you have to pay a subscription for.” But mainly they sat and shook their heads, clearly at a loss. They wanted to give the students an answer, but were distressed that they couldn’t name news sources that they themselves trusted fully, not even The New York Times. “It is a wild wild world out there,” they seemed to be saying. “Even we aren't sure whom we can believe.”
Read the whole thing there. It's intriguing, particularly as concerns the intellectual rivalry between William, a canon of the Augustinian house of Newburgh, and Geoffrey of Monmouth.

Don't wait to have kids

And listen to GenX, not the idiot Boomers. You'll be glad you did:
Kirstie Allsopp has slammed young couples who wait until their thirties to have children.

The Location, Location, Location presenter, 47, took to Twitter on Wednesday to urge women in their twenties not to wait until they 'have more money or feel ready', and to save their money for 'proper childcare', instead of splashing on lavish weddings and expensive houses.

Expressing her frustration at millennials who tell her they want 'a few more years of fun', she argued that 'nothing will ever be more fun than children'.

Kirstie also revealed her regret at waiting until she was 35 and 37 to have her sons Bay, 11, and Oscar, nine, admitting that she was 'too old' to have a third, and had only waited until her thirties to start a family as she hadn't met the right man.

However her impassioned Twitter thread sparked a heated debate, with many followers warning her that her message was putting unnecessary pressure on young couples, and could panic women into starting families.... Slamming the TV presenter's message, one follower wrote: 'Stop telling women in their late 20s they’re running out of time to have kids. It’s so damaging.' Another argued that millennials should be allowed to live their lives to the full while they were still commitment-free, so they wouldn't feel they missed out later.
The problem is that no one feels they've missed out more than a woman who focuses on having fun during her fertile years only to discover that she missed out on motherhood. Don't wait. You won't regret it.

(((Dennis Prager))) is a shameless liar

The intensity of the ongoing neoclown campaign against Western nationalism and the shamelessness with which they are attempting to redefine the perfectly straightforward concepts of "nationalism" and "Western civilization" indicates that they know they are on their way out. Again. In his recent column, (((Dennis Prager))) offers the precise opposite of "clarity" about nationalism:
Nationalism is beautiful when it involves commitment to an essentially decent nation and when it welcomes other people’s commitment to their nations. Nationalism is evil when it is used to celebrate an evil regime, when it celebrates a nation as inherently superior to all others and when it denigrates all other national commitments.

One should add that nationalism is evil when it celebrates race, but that is not nationalism; it is racism. Nationalism and racism may be conjoined, as German Nazism did. But they are not definitionally related. While some Americans have conjoined American nationalism with race (such as the Confederacy, the Ku Klux Klan and currently various fringe “white identity” movements), American nationalism, based as it is on the motto “e pluribus unum” (“out of many, one”), by definition includes Americans of all races and ethnicities. That is how conservatives define American nationalism. I have never met a conservative who defined American national identity as definitionally “white.”
Notice the way in which the horrifically deceptive devil's son completely omits both the most relevant definition of nationalism from the dictionary as well as its etymological roots. He is truly of his father, the deceiver.

the policy or doctrine of asserting the interests of one's own nation viewed as separate from the interests of other nations or the common interests of all nations.

Nationalism is, by logic, linguistics, and definition, a subset of racism because nation is a subset of race. The only "nationalism" that is not intrinsically related to race is civic nationalism, which is not nationalism at all, but an ersatz paperwork substitute for it.

The irony, of course, is that these neoclowns are attempting to destroy American nationalism in the interests of their own nation. They are pure and unmitigated evil, all the more so for their attempt to disguise themselves as intellectual wolves in sheep's clothing. But they are not particularly bright intellectual wolves, as it is more than a little amusing to see how (((Prager)))'s own definition of evil nationalism obviously applies to the Jewish variety.

UPDATE: Phelps points out that (((Prager))) also lies about "e pluribus unum".

This is an ABSOLUTE lie. It never meant, "out of many races", it explicitly meant "out of many states, one confederation." That is why it is the United STATES, not United Races.

Hazony dons the nationalist skinsuit

It's beyond obvious that Yoram Hazony is attempting to create a new gatekeeping outpost in between civic nationalism and genuine nationalism, but he's not anywhere nearly smart enough to do so effectively. His posited distinction between "nationalism" and "racialism" is not only absurd, it is very, very easily exploded.
Yoram Hazony
I think it's as clear as daylight. I wrote a book drawing parallels between Jewish-Israeli nationalism and American, British, and other nationalisms, and arguing for their legitimacy. The book rejects racialism across the boards. All you need to do is to read it.

Yoram Hazony
But my opposition to mixing nationalism with race theories has been explicit every step of the way. It's explicit in the conference announcement and on the website. You don't have to agree with me. Still, it takes some nerve to pretend I've been anything but open about this.
I read Hazony's book. Unlike many on the nationalist Right, I saw through him immediately and pointed out that his "National Conservative" conference was an obvious attempt to set up yet another neoclown gatekeeping organization, this one focused on nationalists. Hazony's further attempts to "defend his ideas" readily reveal him to be not only a gatekeeper, but a shameless liar of the Ben Shapiro variety for two very obvious reasons.

First, to the extent there is any distinction between two terms that have historically been used in a synonymous manner, nation is a subset of race. Necessarily. So to base an argument on the idea that nation is actually a broader category than race is worse than dishonest, it is deeply stupid. It's a total nonstarter.

Second, the etymology of nation makes it obvious that racialism is, and always will be, an element of nationalism.

1250–1300; Middle English < Latin nātiōn- (stem of nātiō) birth, tribe, equivalent to nāt(us) (past participle of nāscī to be born) + -iōn- -ion

One's nationality derives from one's birth, not one's geographical location or paperwork. It is an identification based on DNA, blood, and family, not ideology, confession, documents, or current location in the space-time continuum. By appealing to the fact of adoption, Hazony is stupidly attempting to derive a rule from its occasional exception.

UPDATE: Hazony is also a true son of his father:
Yoram Hazony@yhazony
Sorry, there is no such thing as “genetically Jewish.” Jews are a nation, not a race. Anyone on earth can join the Jewish people, as Ruth the Moabite did—by accepting our people as her people, and our God as her God.Yoram Hazony added,

owen cyclops@owenbroadcast
so atheist jews, who reject your god, arent jews then?

Yoram Hazony@yhazony
Atheist Jews remain Jews. We were talking about non-Jews who want to join the Jewish people and what’s involved.

Yoram Hazony is a Fake Nationalist

Hazony  proves to be just another basic bitch neoclown, and his book, The Virtue of Nationalism, is, despite its various merits, little more than an attempt at establishing a gatekeeping post for the civic nationalists.
This personal invitation arrived in my email inbox recently:

Naturally, I was delighted. I had been very impressed with the Israeli scholar Yoram Hazony’s book The Virtue Of Nationalism and had even had an affable exchange with him via Twitter Direct Message about his publisher’s curious failure to release the book in audio form:

So Lydia and I duly paid our $285 fee (each) to register. But we got this response:

It’s a form letter. Jared Taylor of American Renaissance, who tried in his frugal way to get press credentials, got exactly the same thing.

Jared very reasonably wrote back to ask if would he be denied press credentials if he were “a socialist or Open-Borders advocate” a.k.a. a typical member of the Main Stream Media.

Needless to say, Hazony and Brog did not have the courtesy to reply.
I'm not even a little bit surprised. You may recall that despite his protestations in his book, Hazony appeared to be more civic nationalist than genuine nationalist, and that has proved to be the case. In spades.

National Conservative = Neoclown Cuckservative.

Eliminating student loan debt

President Trump needs to get out in front of this issue in a big way. It is a definite election-winner:
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., will propose on Monday eliminating all $1.6 trillion of student debt held in the United States, a significant escalation of the policy fight in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary two days before the candidates' first debate in Miami.

Sanders is proposing that the federal government pay to wipe clean the student debt held by 45 million Americans - including all private and graduate school debt - as part of a package that also would make public universities, community colleges and trade schools tuition-free.

Sanders is proposing to pay for these plans with a tax on Wall Street his campaign says will raise more than $2 trillion over 10 years, though some tax experts give lower revenue estimates.

Sanders will be joined Monday by Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who will introduce legislation in the House to eliminate all student debt in the United States, as well as Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., co-chairwoman of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, who has championed legislation to make public universities tuition-free.
Politics aside, eliminating student debt is the right thing to do. The power of the banks needs to be broken and this is the most effective way to begin doing that. Student loan debt is intrinsically predatory and cannot be justified, especially in light of the massive endowments of the elite universities.

The fact is that most people should not go to college. But if corporations are going to demand worthless pieces of paper for a job, then those worthless pieces of paper should be provided to everyone who wants one for free.

Remember, periodic debt forgiveness is straight out of the Bible and is even referenced in the Lord's Prayer. Debtors must be forgiven, concerns about fairness notwithstanding.

Deplatforming Christian morality

Australian rugby star Israel Folau's legal defense crowdfunding campaign was deplatformed and shut down by GoFundMe:
Israel Folau's controversial appeal for financial assistance for his legal fight against Rugby Australia has been shut down by GoFundMe Australia, with more than $650,000 in funds donated to the sacked rugby star expected to be refunded.

Rugby Australia terminated Folau's multimillion-dollar contract last month after he posted a photo to Instagram in April that said homosexuals were destined for hell unless they repented of their sins.

Folau, 30, launched legal proceedings with the Fair Work Commission and said that, if a deal is not struck with RA, he would take the matter to the High Court. He set up the GoFundMe page in the hope of receiving $3 million in donations.

But GoFundMe Australia released a statement to the Herald on Monday saying the Folau appeal breached the organisation's terms and conditions.

"Today we will be closing Israel Folau’s campaign and issuing full refunds to all donors. After a routine period of evaluation, we have concluded that this campaign violates our terms of service," GoFundMe Australia regional manager Nicola Britton said.

"As a company, we are absolutely committed to the fight for equality for LGBTIQ+ people and fostering an environment of inclusivity.

"While we welcome GoFundMes engaging in diverse civil debate, we do not tolerate the promotion of discrimination or exclusion."
It's always lies, lies, and more lies, with a side order of lies, with these inversives. There was no "routine period of evaluation". What happened was that a bunch of SJW activists complained and thereby triggered the amenable authorities at GoFundMe, who duly pretended to have reviewed the campaign.

I am not familiar with GoFundMe's terms of use, particularly not in Australia, but Folau should carefully review them in order to see where their legal vulnerabilities lie. And this is yet another reminder that Christians and everyone who has not submitted to the satanic Narrative needs to build and utilize their own non-SJW platforms.

While Folau's GoFundMe page soared past the $580,000 mark on Saturday, there were growing calls for the "hypocritical" website, which proudly displays a gay pride flag on its social media accounts, to shut down the fundraising exercise.

As I said, lies and more lies. I hope Mr. Folau will follow through and make the rubble bounce.

Neoclowns are insanely stupid

President Trump confirms that John Bolton is a warmongering idiot:
Donald Trump has confirmed that his top foreign policy adviser wants to embroil the US in multiple international conflicts. But the US president insists he retains final say on whether American missiles are to fly into Iran.

In a sit-down Meet the Press interview broadcast Sunday, host Chuck Todd asked Trump if he was “being pushed into military action against Iran” by his advisers – presumably pointing to the aggressive pronouncements from National Security Advisor John Bolton.

“I have two groups of people. I have doves and I have hawks,” replied Trump. “John Bolton is absolutely a hawk. If it was up to him he'd take on the whole world at one time, okay?”
Americans had better pray the neoclowns don't come to power again, as they did during the Bush years. Because they will start a war with the rest of the world and they will lose it.

Mailvox: it's only fair

A MGTOW decides that it is only fair to ask me to give practical help and advice to others:
You've stated your case against MGTOW's like me as liars and Satanists, so now I think it's fair to ask you to now move on to the next step, which is to give practical help and advice to these young men that you are encouraging to get married regarding what sort of women they should be looking for, and how they can be better and more successful husbands and fathers.

You might think it should be obvious, but when people are young and lack life experience they don't always see things clearly. The gynocentric feminazi world certainly is not helping men and women figure things out.

I'm still MGTOW my self, because that's what works for me, I was MGTOW decades before it had the name or the militant political and social aspect to it. Even so, I happily concede some of your points, one of which MGTOW's call NAWALT, not all women are like that. But young men need help seeing and understanding what these unicorns look like, the kind of attitudes and opinions that are peculiar to the unicorns. It's more than just their notch counts and selfies, I think.

I never found a unicorn my self, but I still allow that they exist, somewhere, out there, in the big world.

So, young men need help recognizing the qualities of a unicorn, and also they need help developing the qualities of leadership that you point out are necessary to maintaining a healthy relationship with a woman.

I think if you provided a positive message toward that end, you would help the cause of promoting the survival of western civilization more effectively than just calling people names.

You called me a liar, but I would be lying if I did not confess and admit that I have made a deliberate and considered choice to eschew relationships with females, and I'd be a liar if I didn't tell the truth about how and why I made that choice.

I don't tell young men what to do or not do, I don't call them names if they make a different choice. Mainly I tell young men, when I tell them anything, to be careful about women, don't fall for just a pretty face, and make sure they consult with a lawyer before they sign any legal documents of any kind. How is that bad advice? How is that dishonest and Satanic? I'm not seeing it. But never mind on that, just please think about how to actually accomplish what you claim is your intention, which is a good intention in my opinion.
Hey, calling liars and cowards liars and cowards is just me going my own way. How can they possibly object to that? It's really rather amazing how sensitive these narcissistic creatures are to criticism of their chosen path when they have very publicly declared that they owe nothing to society and refuse to do anything for anyone. What do they care if anyone calls them names anyhow?

Anyhow, I don't care what they think is fair. I'm not shaming them to try to change their behavior, I am simply observing their contemptible cowardice and their habitual dishonesty. I don't care what they think is fair. I don't care what they think at all.

This is all I have to say directly to the MGTOW: You quit. You're out. You're done. You ran from the battle. So be it. You don't count anymore. Now go off and die alone, as you've chosen.

Vertigo is dead

And Literally Who killed it. I blame GamerGate.
DC Comics announced that Vertigo Comics will be extinct beginning in 2020. They specifically note “DC will sunset the Vertigo publishing imprint at the end of the year.”

The news confirms rumors about the imprint being shut down from earlier this month.

In a press release, DC Comics announced they will be restructuring their comic book division under three labels: DC Kids, DC, and DC Black Label. These changes are expected to go into effect in 2020.
My guess is that IDW will be the next to go.

Funding the death of the West

(((George Soros))) is stepping in to fund the organizations attempting to undermine the West now that the government funding is gradually being cut off across Europe.
George Soros’s Open Society Foundations, best known for funding civil rights activists across Eastern Europe and the developing world, are increasingly turning their attention to affluent western Europe in response to the rise of the far right there.

Officials at the hedge fund magnate and philanthropist’s charity, which disburses around a billion dollars a year, said the nationalist right’s recent electoral successes were triggering the same contraction in the space for independent activism that had earlier been seen in Eastern Europe.

In southern France, the foundation has stepped in to replace funding to local migrant rights and anti-discrimination groups whose financing was frozen when Marine Le Pen’s then-National Front, since renamed National Rally, took power in a number of municipalities.

With Germany’s anti-immigration Alternative for Germany set to make gains in regional elections across the country’s east in the autumn, the foundation is preparing to take similar steps, said Selmin Caliskan, a director in its new Berlin office.

“We are now looking into the possibility of having a support and solidarity emergency fund for civil society actors in eastern Germany who share our values,” she said.

“Everyone who works there on racism, on anti-Semitism, on helping and supporting migrants and asylum seekers, people like the Red Cross, they all have this concern that their funding will be lost,” she added.
If you still believe in equalitarianism of any kind, you're a de facto Satanist. Because, at the end of the day, that's what all of this boils down to: Satan and his grand rebellion against God.

The fact is that all of the isms and ists and secular sins that you were taught are evil are nothing of the sort. Who is more "racist" than the author of the Bible, who orders the genocide of entire tribes and nations on the mere basis of their identity? Who is more "anti-Semitic" than Jesus Christ, who tells the rabbis that they are not of God, they are of their father the devil? And who is less concerned about "helping and supporting migrants and asylum seekers" than the Apostle Paul, who declared that anyone who does not provide for his own has denied the faith and is worse than an infidel?

The good news is that the truth - described here as "the far right" - is rising and the lies of the New Pharisees are being exposed. The faux moralities of the 20th Century are part of the Great Deception; do not confuse them with genuine Christian morality.
