They don't think it's a bug

It's actually a feature designed to permit their ideological allies to exploit their infrastructure:
Tulsi Gabbard's email account went down right after the Democratic Debate and I believe I can provide assistance on where to focus your discovery efforts because I saw how other accounts, such as Jordan B. Peterson, was taken down. I'm going to recount how this happened to him so as to assist you in your legal discovery process.

During my tenor, Jordan B. Peterson had his gmail account deactivated and I had the opportunity to inspect the bug report as a full-time employee. What I found was that Google had a technical vulnerability that, when exploited, would take any gmail account down. Certain unknown 3rd party actors are aware of this secret vulnerability and exploit it. This is how it worked:

Take a target email address, change exactly one letter in that email address, and then create a new account with that changed email address. Malicious actors repeated this process over and over again until a network of spoof accounts for Jordan B. Peterson existed. Then these spoof accounts started generating spam emails. These email-spam blasts caught the attention of an AI system which fixed the problem by deactivating the spam accounts... and then ALSO the original account belonging to Jordan B. Peterson!

To my knowledge, this bug has never been fixed. When Google says an account was deactivated because of "suspicious" activity, this is how they often do it.

Proof of this exploit can be found by doing the following:

1. Go inside the Google corporate network.
2. Then go to the following url: http://b (yes the url is that short).
3. Search terms: jordan b peterson

Cheers and good luck in your lawsuit!
Lawfare is the way to defeat the social media giants. But you must be willing to fight them! Contrary to what most people believe, they are not set up for it, they do not anticipate it, they are not legally sophisticated, and they aren't even inclined to handle their own legal defenses with their expensive in-house lawyers. Their focus on diversity and inclusivity means that their lower-level executives and in-house counsel are almost astonishingly incompetent; look at the number of simple grammatical errors in the average Silicon Valley company's terms of use as evidence of that.

New Zealand won't give up its guns

It would appear New Zealanders are not falling for the same sleight-of-law for which the Australians and the English fell so readily:
Once again, responding to a horrendous crime by inflicting knee-jerk, authoritarian restrictions on innocent people proves to be an ineffective means of convincing people to obey. Specifically, New Zealand's government—which also stepped up censorship and domestic surveillance after bloody attacks on two Christchurch mosques earlier this year—is running into stiff resistance to new gun rules from firearms owners who are slow to surrender now-prohibited weapons and will probably never turn them in.

Officials should have seen it coming.

"Police are anticipating a number of people with banned firearms in their possession won't surrender them," Stuff reported at the end of May, based on internal government documents.

As of last week, only around 700 weapons had been turned over. There are an estimated 1.5 million guns—with an unknown number subject to the new prohibition on semiautomatic firearms—in the country overall.
The people of New Zealand have seen what has happened post-gun control in both Australia and England. The violence has gotten worse, not better. The governments have gotten more authoritarian, not less. And given the degraded demographic situation in all these countries, only a complete fool would comply with these intrinsically immoral laws and disarm himself.

Why is it taking so long

To drain the Swamp? Because it has taken this long just to clear the swamp monsters out of the national security structure.
When Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and his deputy Sue Gordon leave their offices for the last time on Thursday, it will mark a turning point for an administration that has already endured the highest level of senior staff turnover in history.

Both Coats, who took on the role of intelligence chief in 2017, and Gordon, who started as his deputy a few months later, have outlasted a slew of their national security colleagues who left the Trump administration at various points over the last two years.

This "is a defining day in the Trump administration's national security structure -- they have finally cleared out all the national security positions in terms of senior officials," said David Priess, a former CIA official who delivered the president's daily briefing in the administrations of Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.
At this point, if you doubt the legitimacy of either the God-Emperor or Q, you simply are not paying sufficient attention. Consider the latest news on the subject: Everyone who wrote about Q on Medium was deplatformed.

A strange new credibility

The recent revelation of a painting at Jeffrey Epstein's mansion tends to back up the crazy 2016 claims of a former Clinton mistress:
One of Bill Clinton’s alleged ex-lovers, former Miss Arkansas Sally Miller, claimed that he would regularly jump into her frilly black nightgown and dance around while playing the sax as they were having their illicit affair.

They allegedly had sexual relations throughout 1983 when Clinton was serving as Arkansas Governor. Miller claimed his lovemaking was mediocre at best, but he would always bash his wife Hillary and divulge intimate secrets about his frigid and unappealing wife.

Before Miller released her tell-all memoir in 2016, she reported that she was being stalked and receiving threatening phone calls which prompted her to sleep next to a fully-loaded semi-automatic firearm every night. She claim in a social media post that if she were to suddenly die via suicide, similar to what recently happened to disgraced sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein, nobody should believe it.... Miller confirmed rumors that Hillary is a lesbian, and that the marriage between Bill and she has been ruse to fuel each other’s ruthless political ambitions all these years.
Once the devil is done with you, he stops protecting you from the truth. Considering recent events, it would appear that the Clintons are of little further use to their immortal master.

The 10th Generation

Damac quotes a 1973 book that featured some ominous observations concerning societal decline and fall.
The book "The Tenth Generation" George E Mendenhall (1973) is well worth studying in the light of the present historical circumstances. It is an analysis of the rise and fall of civilizations and kingdoms based on the history of the nation of Israel in the Bible. The thesis is that on average, nations only have a life of about 300 years, ten generations, and then they are destroyed from within. This conclusion was based on a study of I think 21 ancient civilizations, some of which, like the Hittites, vanished from the pages of history until exhumed by archaeologists like Mendenhall. He summarizes his findings as follows:

"The Tenth Generation witnessed and took part in the destruction of civilization. It seems possible -- both from direct historical evidence and by analogy with later periods of crisis which seem to be similar in other respects - to make some generalizations about that Tenth Generation."
  1. it is not characterized by poverty.
  2. it is characterized by a relatively high density of population...
  3. a breakdown in confidence in the existing social and political organization.
  4. a rejection of past ideologies and a desire for something new.
  5. there is a loss of sense of direction.
  6. an increasing resort to illegitimate force and violence, which is almost inevitable following the loss of confidence in the political organization which by definition is the "monopoly of force."
  7. the increased insecurity of everyone in the areas is deeply felt, and there may be a sense of foreboding, of impending doom.
  8. Doom comes: by whatever agency is perhaps by now irrelevant. The political, social, and economic structures of society are destroyed or enormously weakened - usually by violence, either from within, or without. Society simply disintegrates.
  9. deurbanization takes place. Cities are abandoned...a high percentage of the population lose their lives and what we call civilization - writing, art ...wealth, literature,...institutionalized religion - either cease to exist, or disappear..."
I find the deurbanization element to be particularly significant, as the almost-instinctive desire to get out of the cities I've been observing among savvier people all over the world for the last ten years tend to fly in the face of the economic and social impulses that continue to draw young people into the cities like sacrifices to Moloch.

Is GE the new Enron?
An accounting expert who raised red flags about Bernie Madoff ’s Ponzi scheme has a new target: General Electric Co.

In a research report posted online Thursday, Harry Markopolos alleges the struggling conglomerate has masked the depths of its problems, resulting in inaccurate and fraudulent financial filings with regulators. The report, which numbers more than 170 pages and was reviewed by The Wall Street Journal, is a mixture of detailed financial analysis and sweeping claims.

Mr. Markopolos said, in an interview ahead of the report’s release, his group found GE’s insurance unit will need to bolster its reserves by $18.5 billion in cash and faulted the way the company is accounting for its oil-and-gas business. All told, he said, the accounting problems amount to $38 billion, or 40% of the conglomerate’s market value....

The report claims that policy premiums paid to GE are low compared with what rivals typically receive and that GE isn’t receiving any premiums at all on more than a quarter of policies, because those contracts are considered paid in full. The group says that, even after the $15 billion boost, GE’s reserves are well below what would be expected for such a troubled group of policies. GE in the early years front-loaded gains from the long-term-care business by collecting premiums when policyholders were young, the group claims, but failed to properly record reserves as the covered population aged and claims ran at higher levels than originally expected.
As we pass the recent stock market peak and enter a new correction or bear market, a lot of fraud is going to be uncovered. This is almost certainly just the start of an ongoing series of accounting revelations.

Fake Christians in false leadership

At this point, I'm extremely dubious about the genuine faith of any so-called "Christian leader". All they ever seem to do is subvert and sabotage the clear message of the Gospel and the unmistakable meaning of the Bible while preaching the word of the world:
Marty Sampson, a prolific worship music writer known for his work with Hillsong Worship, Hillsong United, Delirious and Young & Free, revealed he is losing his faith and believes Christianity is “just another religion.”

“Time for some real talk,” the Australian writer wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram. “I’m genuinely losing my faith, and it doesn’t bother me. Like, what bothers me now is nothing. I am so happy now, so at peace with the world. It’s crazy.”

“This is a soapbox moment so here I go … How many preachers fall? Many,” he continued. “No one talks about it. How many miracles happen. Not many. No one talks about it. Why is the Bible full of contradictions? No one talks about it. How can God be love yet send four billion people to a place, all ‘coz they don’t believe? No one talks about it. Christians can be the most judgmental people on the planet—they can also be some of the most beautiful and loving people. But it’s not for me.”
What these lukewarm Christians need is to be confronted with the full face of evil. Let them personally witness human sacrifices, black sabbaths, and elite sex rituals. Perhaps then they will begin to understand that Christianity concerns, first and foremost, never-ending conflict with the fallen world, not peace with it.

Want an elephant

The West belatedly discovers that animal conservation is imperialism as far as the Africans are concerned:
The highly sensitive issue is whether the continent should be free to look after and even sell its own wildlife in the way it wishes, or be forced to bow to Western conservationists, rich celebrities and royals who say elephants must remain in the lands where they are born and be protected.

Next week, the sale of wild elephants such as the five-year-old, and the even more contentious trade in their tusks, will top the agenda in Switzerland at the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES).

This is the organisation that sets worldwide rules on the sale of wild animals and their products. And impoverished Zimbabwe, which UN officials said last week was ‘marching towards starvation’, will be anxious to hear what CITES says.

In the past few years, Zimbabwe has made £2.2 million from the sale of 97 elephants — including the baby female pinned down in the crate — to zoos, parks and other tourist attractions in China and Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

And more deals are in the pipeline because Zimbabwe has announced it will sell the creatures ‘to anyone’. No wonder Fulton Mangwanya, the director of Zimbabwe’s Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, said of the elephant sales: ‘We are fighting tooth and nail so that we are allowed to trade in our wildlife. The main contentious issue is the elephants, which we feel we are not allowed to fully benefit from.’
What, did they think that the Magic Dirt operates at a distance or something?

Trading Tucker for Shapiru?

That's the rumor swirling around Tucker Carlson's unexpected vacation:
Rumors are swirling that Tucker Carlson’s sudden “vacation” from his Fox News show was actually a suspension, with some even suggesting that Ben Shapiru could ultimately take his place.

Carlson faced a firestorm of criticism following his assertion last week after two mass shootings that paranoia in America over white supremacy was a “hoax” and that the country faced far bigger problems.

He then announced he would be taking a short holiday.

“By the way,” Carlson told viewers on Wednesday last week, “I am taking several days off – headed to the wilderness to fish with my son.”

Fox News claims that Carlson’s vacation had been planned before the contentious remarks and that he will return on August 19.

However, as CNN noted, there is a long history of Fox News hosts taking sudden vacations when they are embroiled in controversies, including Laura Ingraham, Judge Jeanine, Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters and Bill O’Reilly, who never returned.

Numerous high profile individuals at Fox News have also refused to comment on Carlson’s “vacation.”

Journalist Patrick Howley even suggested that Ben Shapiru was being lined up to replace Tucker. “The establishment is determined to move Shapiru into 8 o’clock instead of Tucker, and they figure the conservative movement is too stupid to notice the difference.”
The little guy sold his soul to get on TV, so it's only fair that they give him the chance to publicly flame out in spectacular fashion.

The latest Google document leak

It's not the first. It won't be the last. But it is substantive.
A Google staffer today released documents exposing a massive censorship campaign where the ubiquitous Google search engine purposefully censored pro-life and conservative web sites, including LifeNews.com.

Google Insider Zachary Vorhies has given an interview to watchdog group Project Veritas where he discusses how he documented Google censorship of leading pro-life and conservative web sites for over a year. He made the decision to go public in an on-the-record video interview after Google went after him following the release of the information to Project Veritas.

He decided to go public after receiving a letter from Google, and after he says Google allegedly called the police to perform a “wellness check” on him.

Along with the interview, Vorhies asked Project Veritas to publish more of the internal Google documents he had previously leaked.

“I gave the documents to Project Veritas, I had been collecting the documents for over a year. And the reason why I collected these documents was because I saw something dark and nefarious going on with the company and I realized that there were going to not only tamper with the elections, but use that tampering with the elections to essentially overthrow the United States,” he said.
I don't quite understand the concept of making the documents available to download only if you install some strange application, though. I'll pass, thanks.

Disney is TRYING to kill Star Wars

And, by the looks of it, it is succeeding:
A new rumor suggests J.J. Abrams and Rian Johnson’s The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi movies were supposed to reboot the entire Star Wars franchise.

The source told Buechler:

“Rian was not just randomly writing a story nor was JJ. JJ’s job was to create a in-canon reboot like the 2009 movie and introduce the new characters. Rian’s job was to kill off the originals and then you were suppose to not notice it was rebooted. Each was given the outline to make it and what the points were. So now you know why. Disney did not want to pay a license fee and by end of it all looked different and was a new copyright under the old name. They even changed the Falcon to be different. But the orders was in the end to leave nothing original.”

The source added:

“There is this just quick. There was always one plan. After the reaction to The Last Jedi, the decision was made to bring in J.J. to fix the plan he laid out and they threw Rian under the bus. This is why they said Rian might get his own trilogy. They just didn’t expect the backlash to be as toxic as it was and consequently Solo flopped.”
The belief is that Disney owes some kind of licensing fees to Lucas if the original characters are involved, so they're trying to replace them in order to fully own everything. Of course, it's also possible that the original characters are simply too white and straight for the Devil Mouse to abide.

Been caught lying

I tend to doubt Sundar Pichai will still be CEO of Google by the end of the year now that he's being busted for lying by his former employees. Again.
A former Google insider claiming the company created algorithms to hide its political bias within artificial intelligence platforms – in effect targeting particular words, phrases and contexts to promote, alter, reference or manipulate perceptions of Internet content – delivered roughly 950 pages of documents to the Department of Justice’s Antitrust division Friday.

The former Google insider, who has already spoken in to the nonprofit organization Project Veritas, met with SaraACarter.com on several occasions last week. He was interviewed in silhouette, to conceal his identity, in group’s latest film, which they say exposes bias inside the social media platform.

Several weeks prior, the insider mailed a laptop to the DOJ containing the same information delivered on Friday, they said. The former insider is choosing to remain anonymous until Project Verita’s James O’Keefe reveals his identity tomorrow.

He told this reporter on his recent trip to Washington D.C. that the documents he turned over to the Justice Department will provide proof that Google has been manipulating the algorithms and the evidence of how it was done, the insider said.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai told the House Judiciary Committee in December, 2018, that the search engine was not biased against conservatives. Pichai explained what algorithm’s are said Google’s algorithm was not offensive to conservatives because its artificial intelligence does not operate in that manner. He told lawmakers, “things like relevance, freshness, popularity, how other people are using it” are what drives the search results. Pichai said even if his programmers were anti-Republican, the process is so intricate that the artificial intelligence could not be manipulated and it was to complicated to train the algorithm to fit their bias.
The problem isn't just that he lied to the House Judiciary Committee, it's that he told such stupid and obvious and easily disproven lies. More on this soon....

She killed Vertigo

It appears Marvel is next:
Marvel Comics announced they hired Zoe Quinn to write a Hellcat story in their four-issue anthology series titled Fearless. Quinn was part of the creative team behind Vertigo and DC Comics’ Goddess Mode. Her book was part of a line-wide relaunch and rebranding effort for Vertigo Comics. Instead, DC Comics would shut the entire publishing imprint down.
I love how SJWs always double down. I really do.

So Islamophobic

I am literally shaking at the lack of respect shown for the Muslim readers of this blog and their time-honored Islamic traditions by Wired author Nitasha Tiku in her most recent attempt to rewrite history and defend a small group of IQ-challenged SJWs employed by Google:
By Saturday, a full copy of Damore's document had leaked to Gizmodo. While Googlers waited for an official response from the top, managers who wanted to signal their support for women loudly condemned the memo's ideas on internal Google+ posts.

To Liz Fong-Jones, a site reliability engineer at Google, the memo's arguments were especially familiar. Google's engineers are not unionized, but inside Google, Fong-Jones essentially performed the function of a union rep, translating employee concerns to managers on everything from product decisions to inclusion practices. She had acquired this informal role around the time the company released Google+ to the public in 2011; before launch, she warned executives against requiring people to use their real names on the platform, arguing that anonymity was important for vulnerable groups. When public uproar played out much as Fong-Jones had predicted, she sat across from executives to negotiate a new policy—then explained the necessary compromises to irate employees. After that, managers and employees started coming to her to mediate internal tensions of all sorts.

As part of this internal advocacy work, Fong-Jones had become attuned to the way discussions about diversity on internal forums were beset by men like Cernekee, Damore, and other coworkers who were “just asking questions.” To her mind, Google's management had allowed these dynamics to fester for too long, and now it was time for executives to take a stand. In an internal Google+ post, she wrote that “the only way to deal with all the heads of the medusa is to no-platform all of them.”

A few hours later, Google's internal networks received a shock to the system. A screenshot of Fong-Jones' “Medusa” comment appeared on Vox Popoli, a blog run by the alt-right instigator Theodore Beale, along with her full name and profile photo. The comments section quickly filled with racial and sexual slurs fixated personally on Fong-Jones, who is trans. “They should pitch all those sexual freaks off of rooftops,” one anonymous Vox Popoli commenter wrote.
I'm not sure what is more offensive, the fact that Ms Tiku failed to note Fong-Jones's graecophobic failure to distinguish between the Hydra and the Medusa or her own blatant failure to respect the traditional Muslim way of addressing sexual deviancy. And I note that it's been nearly 20 months and Ms Tiku is still trying to establish the Narrative and falsely portray the Google freaks who have been bullying everyone inside the company, from the CEO on down to the lowliest crypto-conservative, as the victims.

And if anyone at Google is under the impression that they received a shock to the system back then, they can be deeply and profoundly grateful that they didn't take Fong-Jones's advice at the time. Oh, and by the way, Ms Tiku, as long as Wired is fixated on the shenanigans of sexual deviants at Google, you should probably ask Mr. Brin and Mr. Schmidt exactly what they were doing in Jeffrey Epstein's company.

How to be Straight

Milo Yiannopoulos is not straight, but that’s never stopped him from handing out excellent advice. And let’s face it, heterosexuals need it. Milo has spent his entire life advocating for the most brutally repressed minority on the planet—straight people. In this book, the Grand Marshal of the Boston Straight Pride Parade explains what straight people are getting wrong in 21st-century America and how to keep your pecker up in a world that seems increasingly hostile to heteros. One day, says Milo—if the injunctions in this book are followed—straight people will be able to openly express pride in themselves without fear of judgement or hate, just like everyone else.

In today’s America, few are brave enough to be openly heterosexual. For the rest of us, there’s HOW TO BE STRAIGHT.

Milo Yiannopoulos is an award-winning journalist, a New York Times-bestselling author, an international political celebrity, a free speech martyr, a comedian, an accomplished entrepreneur, a hair icon, a penitent and, to the annoyance of his many enemies, an exceedingly happy person. He is the most censored, most lied-about man in the world, banned from stepping foot on entire continents for his unapologetic commitment to free expression.

HOW TO BE STRAIGHT is available for $2.99 at Amazon and in EPUB/Kindle formats at Arkhaven. A paperback edition will be available soon. And while you're at it, be sure you haven't missed Milo's other books:

You don't say

One of Epstein's prison guards was not even an actual prison guard:
One of the two people guarding Jeffrey Epstein when he apparently hanged himself in a federal jail cell was not a full-fledged correctional officer, and neither guard had checked on Mr. Epstein for several hours before he was discovered, prison and law-enforcement officials said.

Those details emerged on Monday as Attorney General William P. Barr sharply criticized the management of the federal jail in Manhattan where Mr. Epstein, who was accused of sexually abusing dozens of teenage girls, was found dead on Saturday morning.

“We are now learning of serious irregularities at this facility that are deeply concerning and demand a thorough investigation,” said Mr. Barr, who, as the country’s top law enforcement official, is responsible for federal prisons.
Well, I don't know about you, but I'm just flabbergasted to be informed that there were irregularities and infiltrators involved in Esptein's supposed "suicide". We still don't know if Epstein was murdered, if he's being waterboarded in Guantanamo, or if he's being debriefed in Tel Aviv, but regardless, it is obvious to everyone that the Official Story is false.

A house divided cannot stand

Both the USA and China are seeking to take advantage of unrest within the enemy's borders, as a lengthy article by Strategy Page elucidates.
While 2018 was a bad year for the economy, 2019 is not much of an improvement. China hoped to maintain GDP growth of at least six percent while at the same time continuing to safely reduce (“deleverage) the huge number of bad loans local governments and corrupt banks have taken on over the last decade. The economic decline in 2018 could be measured in many aspects of economic activity (production, orders for raw materials, finished goods or construction and so on) and sentiments (of people running the economy and consumers). Chinese stock markets were down over 30 percent by the end of 2018 and for the first time in three years, profits of industrial firms took a dive. At the same time there were similar shocks to the American economy, but much more limited. Chinese and American leaders have not been able to agree on how to resolve trade and intellectual property disputes. China so far resists making any trade concessions. There is also supposed to be a halt in Chinese theft of American IP (Intellectual property) and commercial espionage in general. Until now the Chinese would often flagrantly cheat and then deny that they had done any such thing. This has been going on for decades and the recent American trade war is meant to deal with this long festering issue.

China is apparently hoping to be patient and take advantage of the current political turmoil in the United States. This has made most of the American media and many American politicians reluctant to criticize China mainly because American mass media is obsessed with overthrowing the current U.S. government. China sees an opportunity here and is taking it.
Damn him, deify him, or be disappointed in him, the observable fact of the matter is that God-Emperor Trump is about the only force standing in between the USA and its headlong plunge into economic contraction, violent civil conflict, and eventual collapse.

The schools are converged. The churches are converged. The corporations are soulless, corrupt vampires. The politicians are owned, leashed, and broken to heel. The military is converged.

Après Trump le déluge.

Imagine what we could do

I did the math. And if you want to win the culture war, here is one way to go about doing just that, given the inflated price of Hollywood content.
The estimates on the cost of content that emerged from these interviews peg the typical range of the production budget for high-end cable and streaming dramas at $5 million-$7 million an hour, while single-camera half hours on broadcast and cable run from $1.5 million to more than $3 million. With the exception of HBO, which made its mark with lavish productions, that’s a significant increase, during just the past five years, over what had been $3 million-$4 million for cable dramas and around $1 million-$1.5 million for single-camera half hours.

And Netflix often exceeds the new, higher averages. The first season of its supernatural sensation “Stranger Things” was shot to look like a 1980s Steven Spielberg movie and came with a price tag of $6 million an episode for season one, rising to $8 million in season two. Netflix’s sumptuous period drama “The Crown” cost an estimated $10 million an episode.

Bigger, bolder production values aren’t the only expense; talent also costs a pretty penny.

Netflix raised eyebrows with a $2 million-per-episode guarantee to lure David Letterman back to TV for a six-episode interview series that’s expected to bow next year.

Clockwise from left: “The Get Down” – $11m per episode; “Legion” – $4m per episode; “Timeless” – $4.5m per episode.

There’s a pervasive fear among traditional TV players that Netflix’s spending binge on content is an effort to vacuum up market share and put a lot of old-school competitors out of business. That, industry veterans say, is the only explanation for the streaming giant paying $20 million to Chris Rock and Ellen DeGeneres for comedy specials — fees that are more than double the high end for that programming on HBO just a few years ago.

But Netflix is far from alone in its aggressive spending. All the streaming services are ponying up bigger upfront commitments and budgets, raising floor prices for all networks. Amazon is laying out $8 million on action drama “Jack Ryan” and $5 million per half hour for “The Tick,” the superhero comedy with lots of visual-effects shots that also films largely on location in pricey New York. Robert De Niro is getting approximately $775,000 an episode to star in a David O. Russell crime drama for Amazon.

Cable networks are stretching their wallets too. HBO’s VFX-heavy “Westworld” is in the same lofty budgetary stratum as “The Crown.” Season one of Starz’s “American Gods” came in at more than $8 million per episode. TNT’s one-and-done period drama “Will” required $5 million-$6 million an episode, even though it was shot in Wales with mostly up-and-coming actors. FX usually spends about $3.5 million-$4 million per hour on its dramas. Ryan Murphy’s “American Crime Story” franchise is closer to $6 million.
For broadcast networks, the high end is roughly $4.5 million (with most shows coming in about $1 million below that).
That's about $3.4 million more per episode than is actually necessary in most cases.

Now consider this. Owen regularly gets 50,000 views per livestream. I regularly get 12,000 views per livestream. Even if we assume that fully half my views are Bears, that gives us 56,000 viewers. Next, imagine that all of those 56,000 viewers were willing to subscribe to a Basic subscription on Unauthorized. That's the price of two Caramel Frappuccino Ventis at Starbucks per month.

That would be over $500,000 per month we could spend on producing original content for everyone. We estimate that we could do a Little House on the Prairie-caliber television show, a comedy starring Owen as one half of an urban couple who moves to the country, for about $50k per episode. In other words, if we can get five thousand more Basic subscribers before the end of 2019, we will create a high-quality half-hour television show that does not hate you or seek to destroy your faith, your family, and your country. We will create something that will not only entertain, but inspire, you and your family.

We can do it. Seriously. In fact, we're currently putting together a professionally filmed comedy special that will be considerably funnier than Chris Rock's - or Ellen's, although that was obvious - for approximately one-tenth of one percent of their budgets. So, think about it. And then join Unauthorized.

The difference between power and influence

Russia is the latest nation-state to remind the large multinationals that we are not living in a post-national cyberpunk world. National sovereignty, militaries, and nuclear weapons trump money and media power every time.
Russia's state communications watchdog has asked Google to stop advertising "illegal mass events" on its YouTube video platform, it said on Sunday.

Tens of thousands of Russians staged what observers called the country's biggest political protest for eight years on Saturday, defying a crackdown to demand free elections to Moscow's city legislature. Multiple YouTube channels broadcast the event live.

The watchdog, Roscomnadzor, said some entities had been buying advertising tools from YouTube, such as push notifications, in order to spread information about illegal mass protests, including those aimed at disrupting elections.

It said Russia would consider a failure by Google to respond to the request as "interference in its sovereign affairs" and "hostile influence (over) and obstruction of democratic elections in Russia".

If the company does not take measures to prevent events from being promoted on its platforms, Russia reserves the right to respond accordingly, Roscomnadzor said, without giving details.
More and more states are learning that it's not worth permitting these soulless artificial creatures to operate freely and as they see fit in violation of national laws.

They're all yours, Richard

Matteo Salvini demonstrates why he is going to be the first Prime Minister of an independent and sovereign Italia.
Golden Globe winner Richard Gere visited a boat with 121 migrants on board in international waters near the Italian island of Lampedusa. Gere was pictured delivering food supplies to the migrants on board, who have been rescued by Spanish NGO Open Arms. In a barb to Italy and his own leader President Trump, he said: 'Demonizing people has to stop everywhere on the planet. What most people refer to as migrants, I refer to as refugees that are running from a fire.'

The right-wing League leader Matteo Salvini, whose party topped the polls in the recent European elections, hit back. Salvini said: 'Given this generous millionaire is voicing concern for the fate of the Open Arms migrants, we thank him: he can take back to Hollywood, on his private plane, all the people aboard and support them in his villas. Thank you Richard!'
Hilarious. And effective. Grazie, Richard!

He's got a point

Then again, consistency has never been a strong point of the establishment media:
The BBC is facing accusations of “hypocrisy” for describing Kashmir as “Indian occupied,” with people asking why it doesn’t apply similar descriptions to Northern Ireland.
The query was first put to the British broadcaster on Sunday by British-Indian film director Shekhar Kapur and it quickly went viral.

“Hey @BBCWorld.. each time you call Kashmir ‘Indian Occupied Kashmir’ I keep wondering why you refuse to call Northern Ireland ‘British Occupied Ireland’?” Kapur asked in a tweet that rapidly racked up more than 20,000 retweets and over 50,000 likes. Other responses to Kapur’s message accused the state-owned media company of applying the “occupied” tag to other regions including Tibet, Hong Kong and Balochistan. It also prompted the creation of the #BritishOccupiedIreland hashtag, which also picked up retweet traffic.
Either Northern Ireland is British-occupied or there is no reason to complain about the New Kashmiri immigrants, who despite being Hindu are every bit as genuinely Kashmiri as the Muslims who preceded them.

There's no way

A former MCC convict says it is absolutely impossible for Epstein to have killed himself.
There’s no way that man could have killed himself. I’ve done too much time in those units. It’s an impossibility.

Between the floor and the ceiling is like eight or nine feet. There’s no way for you to connect to anything.

You have sheets, but they’re paper level, not strong enough. He was 200 pounds — it would never happen.

When you’re on suicide watch, they put you in this white smock, a straight jacket. They know a person cannot be injurious to themselves.

The clothing they give you is a jump-in uniform. Everything is a dark brown color.

Could he have done it from the bed? No sir. There’s a steel frame, but you can’t move it. There’s no light fixture. There’s no bars.
Remember, the one thing we know is that the Official Story - which in this case is that Jeffrey Epstein killed himself - is not true.

It's not "disinformation" when it's true

The New York Times attempts to disinform the informed:
That nativist rhetoric — that immigrants are invading the homeland — has gained ever-greater traction, and political acceptance, across the West amid dislocations wrought by vast waves of migration from the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In its most extreme form, it is echoed in the online manifesto of the man accused of gunning down 22 people last weekend in El Paso.

In the nationalists’ message-making, Sweden has become a prime cautionary tale, dripping with schadenfreude. What is even more striking is how many people in Sweden — progressive, egalitarian, welcoming Sweden — seem to be warming to the nationalists’ view: that immigration has brought crime, chaos and a fraying of the cherished social safety net, not to mention a withering away of national culture and tradition.

Fueled by an immigration backlash — Sweden has accepted more refugees per capita than any other European country — right-wing populism has taken hold, reflected most prominently in the steady ascent of a political party with neo-Nazi roots, the Sweden Democrats. In elections last year, they captured nearly 18 percent of the vote.

To dig beneath the surface of what is happening in Sweden, though, is to uncover the workings of an international disinformation machine, devoted to the cultivation, provocation and amplication of far-right, anti-immigrant passions and political forces.
It's remarkable to see how those who manipulate opinion with their words assume all opinions are derived by someone manipulating words. They don't seem to be capable of grasping that people also form opinions on the basis of what they see happening right in front of them.

The rise of nationalism is a direct response to the mass migrations inspired by the neoliberal world order. It is the neoliberal wizards who have created the very monster they fear.
