There are few things more depressing to an intellectual known for coining terms than seeing people attempting to turn around what they perceive as a perjorative and trying to apply it to you, particularly when in doing so, they demonstrate that they have no idea what the Hell you meant by it in the first place. I'm sure everyone will be astonished to learn that a recently departed commenter couldn't bear to leave without a parting wall of text.

You’ll probably say you don’t really give a damn, and perhaps just “fuck off”, but you and some of the comment cohort did to me what you know is typical of SJWers.

I was not posturing.  I was not attacking. I engaged in a conversation on items about math and science mentioned by another commenter.

My point was that there are limits to the accuracy in mathematics to understanding things just as there are in language, but some people are as dogmatic about math as some are about science and some about religion. They stretch the bounds of the discipline beyond its limits and dogmatically attack any found guilty of heresy.

It’s your site and your comment section. It should reflect what you want it to.

But y’all did to me exactly what you criticize the SJWers for.

Snidely Whiplash noted a violation of the accepted narrative, pointed a finger and invited the swarm to do their work, and you were the amenable authority.

Bringing up Plato’s analogy and Buddah’s parable was not pretension or posturing. They were on point to the comment I was responding to.

I like your book.  I bought it after the mention on InfoWars.  That also led me to your blog, and I’ve like what little I’ve read of it.

This sort of thing is why I try to avoid talking to people in real life. I don't care, I just want people like this to go away and never attempt to communicate with me again. There is no narrative here and this guy was never part of the group in the first place. He was an unwanted, uninvited, undesirable interloper who wandered into the wrong place and was rightly rejected as soon as he identified himself.

I'm not the amenable authority, to the contrary, I am the authority that very much wants all the blathering morons to go away, stay away, and never, ever force me to bear witness to their endless attempts to explore the limits of human stupidity.

They were never on our side

Steven Hayward of Powerline writes about the late David Koch:

When I really want to creep out a liberal, I tell them that I not only have met the Koch brothers, but once visited Charles Koch at the Death Star in Wichita, and dined with David Koch once in New York (in addition to some very friendly and thoughtful meetings in his office a long time ago). But then I usually like to deepen their dismay by going on to tell them that I also once had lunch with George Soros and some of his foundation board members (at his invitation and expense), where I had great fun pointing out how much Soros and the Koch brothers had in common, on immigration, foreign and defense policy, same sex marriage, drug policy, and so forth. At this point, you can almost see the synapses frying and shriveling up inside the simple-minded Manichean liberal brain.

That tells you a lot about the simple-minded conservative brain too, doesn't it. The problem isn't just "the Left" and the liberals. The neoclowns, the libertarians, and the conservatives are all also on-board with the post-Western descent into Hell on Earth.

Statistical analysis is not Intelligent Design

Reading the Z-man can be mildly frustrating at times, because he not infrequently starts off on the right path, but then fails to make the vital distinctions that are necessary in order to reach the correct conclusions.

Whenever the subject of Intelligent Design turns up, it is always in the context of believers in ID attacking evolutionary biology. The ID’ers have a list of claims about “Darwinism” that they insist make evolution impossible. A popular one now, for example, is that there is not enough time for natural selection to produce enough gene mutations to explain the fossil record. 

This is incorrect on two levels. First, the popular idea is something that I first articulated some time ago before more recently making my case in detail concerning the time required to account for the fixed genetic mutations that have been observed, and it is not necessarily related to the fossil record. In fact, the fossil record is now almost entirely irrelevant to the TENS debate, in which genetic science is rapidly demolishing the last credible vestiges of Neo-Darwinism.

Second, this specific event-based criticism of Neo-Darwinism is not Intelligent Design and has nothing whatsoever to do with Intelligent Design. I pay no attention to Creationists or Intelligent Design advocates. Their meanderings are of little interest to me. I am but a humble game designer with an educational background in economics, which combination tends to alert me to various statistical anomalies and mathematical improbabilities and impossibilities when I happen to come across them for one reason or another.

Since scientists and political commentators alike seem to struggle with the basic concept, I will attempt to put it into terms simple enough for even a sportsball player to follow.

If we are told that a sportsball team has gained 1,500 yards on the ground and that it averages three yards per rushing play, and we know that the maximum number of offensive plays per game is 84, then we know, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that the yards reported were not gained in a single 60-minute game. They could not have been. It is impossible.

The math is inexorable. The maximum number of yards that could have been gained on the ground in a single game is 252. It does not matter if a desperate proponent of Neo-Schembechlerism proposes the idea that perhaps the team ran a hurry-up wishbone offense, or that the quarterback was a dual-threat as a runner, or that the team played in a league known for its terrible run defenses, or that one of the halfbacks once ripped off a 99-yard gain, or that NCAA teams have been known to play up to seven overtime periods, or that perhaps five different players touched the ball on the same play. The math is inexorable. The assertion that a sportsball team which averages three yards per carry gained 1,500 yards on the ground in a single game is flat-out impossible. We can say with certainty that it never happened.

In like manner, the number of fixed mutations that are presently observed to distinguish two species, whether we contemplate Man and the Chimpanzee–Human last common ancestor (CHLCA) or the dog and one of the therapsids, are considerably - CONSIDERABLY - in excess of the maximum amount of time that could have passed since the speciation process is believed to have begun. There is only one defense against this straightforward mathematical observation, and that is the idea that enough parallel mutations happened very, very quickly to significantly reduce the average time per fixed mutation to permit it to happen in the intervening time period.

The problem here, of course, is that the numerical gap that needs to be filled is so large that if that were the case, then these mutations would be have to be happening so rapidly, and fixing in parallel so quickly, that we could observe evolution by natural selection happening in real time all the time. Except we don't, so the Neo-Darwinian is forced to retreat to the absurd scientific equivalent of claiming that he does too have a girlfriend, it's just that she lives in Canada, and you wouldn't know her anyhow.

This is not a defense of intelligent design. It is a defense of math and logic, both of which have to be abandoned if one is still to take Neo-Darwinism or the theory of evolution by natural selection seriously.

Declaring a war that is already lost

Jeff Goldstein is not only a liar, he's an utterly inept one at that. And he has been for years.

Vox Day says the alt-right is conservative. It’s actually an identity movement on par with Black Lives Matter, La Raza, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, and other products of cultural Marxism.

Notice that Goldstein falsely claims I said the precise opposite of what I actually wrote in the very first two points of the manifesto to which he refers. Also, recall that identity politics are a superset of cultural Marxism, and that they long predate Marx, Gramsci, and the Frankfurt School.

1. The Alt Right is of the political right in both the American and the European sense of the term. Socialists are not Alt Right. Progressives are not Alt Right. Liberals are not Alt Right. Communists, Marxists, Marxians, cultural Marxists, and neocons are not Alt Right. National Socialists are not Alt Right.
2. The Alt Right is an ALTERNATIVE to the mainstream conservative movement in the USA that is nominally encapsulated by Russel Kirk's 10 Conservative Principles, but in reality has devolved towards progressivism. It is also an alternative to libertarianism.

There is nothing conservative about the Alt Right, or as we more accurately describe it now in response to the authorized media's successful attempts to redefine and delegitimize the term, the Nationalist Right. Conservativism is nothing more than a defeatist posture of continual retreat, and the Nationalist Right is a coherent political philosophy that entirely rejects both conservatism and conservatives.

Indeed, the neoclowns even had to coin a brand new term, "National Conservatives", in order to present a defeatist skinsuit identity that could potentially pass for the real thing. But we reject National Conservatives just as we reject all conservatives and conservatisms. And as for me, I have NEVER been a conservative and I have always been very clear about that.

Anyhow, three years later, Goldstein is still doubling down on his false and outdated perspective:

3 yrs ago, writing in The Federalist, I noted how the left’s embrace — and political deployment — of identity politics had given rise to, and a perverse justification for (in its own hive mind), white supremacy, a blunt rejection of the collective call by the left and academia to demonize whiteness.

I pored over & unpacked the “alt-right manifesto” of an influential “thought leader” of the movement and found what was easily recognizable: a progressive strain placing it on par with La Raza, BLM, CAIR, and Occupy (now Antifa). Essentially, Farrakhanism in a bed sheet.

The El Paso shooter, if we believe his manifesto, is for all intents and purposes, a confused National Socialist. He trafficked in identity and grievance politics while supporting much of the Green New Deal. He railed against capitalism and jobs lost to automation. He’s a leftist — as were the Nazis — who found himself part of an unprotected class; the Dayton shooter supported, in addition to Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, Antifa, which may have actually provided him gun tips in advance of his eventual spree killing. He, too, was a leftist.

Which is why conservatives should deplore all identity and grievance politics, regardless of the color it takes. Intersectionality, however, is the left’s stock and trade, from the academy to the media to Hollywood. Until that is marginalized, you won’t kill white supremacy, despite pleadings by the editors at National Review.

And here’s why: Many of the motivations of the white supremacist movement, which Vox Day couched as “alt-right” in his alt-right “manifesto,” were predictable and — again, however perversely — understandable: in a political and cultural ethos wherein white straight Christian males have become one of the last “identity groups” eligible for collective hostility and scapegoating, there was bound to be defensive push-back. In my piece I commiserated with some of the alt-right’s concerns while rejecting its underlying philosophy; I counseled the rejection of all identity politics and intersectionality, suggesting instead a return to founding principals: constitutionalism, federalism, republicanism, the rule of law, assimilation, and — most crucially —individualism and individual rights and autonomy....

We are a country of individuals. We need to act like it. It’s time to declare war on identity politics.

Let conservatives reject identity politics if they like. Who cares what conservatives do, say, or think anymore? They didn't conserve America. They didn't conserve the ladies room. They couldn't even conserve the two human sexes! And they won't be able to conserve indoor plumbing either. As for declaring war on identity politics, in 2019 that is like declaring war on gravity, or more to the point, declaring war on Alexander the Great on behalf of King Darius III of the Achaemenid Empire.

That war is already over. That war is already lost.

Counseling American Christians to return to principles that literally none of their rival identity groups accept is not merely idiotic, it is completely irrelevant. The literally satanic ideology of the individual is now as dead as the Whig Party and the Yangtze River dolphin, and no one is going to be able to revive it in a time when material identity has replaced abstract ideology.

Conservatives: I will not risk open identity politics.

Nationalists: Identity politics is upon you whether you would risk it or not.

Conservatives had better come to terms with accepting the reality of identity politics very, very soon, because what comes next is what Clausewitz would have called identity politics by other means.

Jordan Peterson is a sanctimonious crybaby

And you can absolutely quote me on that, in whatever voice you like. He's such a ridiculous whiner as well as being a profoundly non-philosophical fraud.

This week, however, a company called notjordanpeterson.com put an AI engine online that allows anyone to type anything and have it reproduced in my voice. It’s hard to get access to or use the site, at the moment, presumably because it is currently attracting more traffic than its servers can handle. [NOTE: As of August 23, this website posted the following announcement: In light of Dr. Peterson’s response to the technology demonstrated by this site, which you can read here, and out of respect for Dr. Peterson, the functionality of the site will be disabled for the time being.]

A variety of sites that pass themselves off as news portals—and sometimes are—have either reported this story straight (Sputnik News) or had a field day (Gizmodo) having me read, for example, the SCUM manifesto (hypothetically an acronym for Society for Cutting Up Men), a radical feminist rant by Valerie Solanos published in 1967. Solanos, by the way, later shot the artist Andy Warhol, an act, driven by her developing paranoia. He was seriously wounded, requiring a surgical corset to hold his organs in place for the rest of his life. TNW takes a middle path, reporting the facts of the situation with little bias but using the system to have me voice very vulgar phrases.

Some of you might know—and those of you who don’t should—that similar technology has also been developed for video. This was reported, for example, by BBC, as far back in July of 2017, who broadcast a speech delivered by an AI Obama, that was essentially indistinguishable from the real thing. Similar technology has been used, equally notoriously, to superimpose the faces of famous actresses on porn stars, while they perform their various sexual exploits (you can find this story covered, for example, on The Verge, Jan 24, 2018). Movies have also been reshot so that the main actor is transformed from someone unknown to someone with real box office draw. This has happened, for example, to Nicolas Cage, primarily on a YouTube site known as Derpfakes, a play on the phrase “Deep Fakes,” which is what the video recordings created fraudulently by AI have come to be known. More recently Ctrl Shift Face, a YouTube channel, posted a video showing Bill Hader transforming very subtly into Tom Cruise as he performs an impression of the latter on Dave Letterman’s show. It’s picked up four million views in a week. It’s important to note, by the way, that this ability is available to amateurs. I don’t mean people with no tech knowledge whatsoever, obviously—more that the electronic machinery that makes such things possible will soon be within the reach of everyone.

It’s hard to imagine a technology with more power to disrupt. I’m already in the position (as many of you soon will be as well) where anyone can produce a believable audio and perhaps video of me saying absolutely anything they want me to say. How can that possible be fought? More to the point: how are we going to trust anything electronically-mediated in the very near future (say, during the next Presidential election)? We’re already concerned, rightly or wrongly, with “fake news”—and that’s only news that has been slanted, arguably, by the bias of the reporter or editor or news organization. What do we do when “fake news” is just as real as “real news”? What do we do when anyone can imitate anyone else, for any reason that suits them?

And what of the legality of this process? It seems to me that active and aware lawmakers would take immediate steps to make the unauthorized production of AI Deep Fakes a felony offense, at least in the case where the fake is being used to defame, damage or deceive. And it seems to be that we should perhaps throw caution to the wind, and make this an exceptionally wide-ranging law. We need to seriously consider the idea that someone’s voice is an integral part of their identity, of their reality, of their person—and that stealing that voice is a genuinely criminal act, regardless (perhaps) of intent. What’s the alternative? Are we entering a future where the only credible source of information will be direct personal contact? What’s that going to do to mass media, of all types? Why should we not assume that the noise to signal ratio will creep so high that all political and economic information disseminated broadly will be rendered completely untrustworthy?

I can tell you from personal experience, for what that’s worth, that it is far from comforting to discover an entire website devoted to allowing whoever is inspired to do so produce audio clips imitating my voice delivering whatever content the user chooses—for serious, comic or malevolent purposes. I can’t imagine what the world will be like when we will truly be unable to distinguish the real from the unreal, or exercise any control whatsoever on what videos reveal about behaviors we never engaged in, or audio avatars broadcasting any opinion at all about anything at all. I see no defense, and a tremendously expanded opportunity for unscrupulous troublemakers to warp our personal and collective reality in any manner they see fit.

Wake up. The sanctity of your voice, and your image, is at serious risk. It’s hard to imagine a more serious challenge to the sense of shared, reliable reality that keeps us linked together in relative peace. The Deep Fake artists need to be stopped, using whatever legal means are necessary, as soon as possible.

This guy doesn't even believe in the Divine, so to what "sanctity of your voice and your image" is he referring? He doesn't even believe in group identity or taking pride in one's direct ancestors, he's the most famous advocate of individual uber alles since Ayn Rand, so what is this "sense of shared, reliable reality that keeps us linked together" to which he's suddenly appealing.

If you didn't grasp that Jordan Peterson is an intellectual fraud before, his call to outlaw synthetic speech and make it a felony offense should more than suffice.

Personally, I love synthetic speech. I've been wanting to design games around it since 1996.

China rejects servitude to Satan

The hope through these years was that a more prosperous China would also become more democratic and tolerant at home, and less aggressive abroad. On the contrary, Pillsbury argued that they had their own scenario, in which China would embark quietly but steadily on a long-term race to world supremacy by 2049, the 100th anniversary of Mao Zedong's victory over Chiang Kai-shek.

China would use strategy and tactics laid out by Sun Tzu 2,500 years ago and restore the state to the primacy it enjoyed before the civil wars and invasions that started with the Taiping rebellion in 1849 and ended with Mao's death in 1976, costing millions of Chinese lives. Before this strife, China had 40 percent of the world's population and economic production, and an emperor reigning 60 years, who reportedly told the British envoy Lord Macartney in 1793, "Our Celestial Empire possesses all things in prolific abundance" and has "no need to import the manufactures of outside barbarians."

Hence the cancellation of the long-planned post-US-collapse leap to China on the part of those who "heal the nations" and have destroyed America as part of that healing process.

Four years later

Four years ago, I published SJWs Always Lie. Mike Cernovich told me at the time that it would be what he called an "evergreen" book. It would appear that he was right, because the social justice Narrative hasn't disappeared in the intervening period. To the contrary, it is now a much bigger problem affecting even more people across a far wider spectrum of activities and organizations than before.

If SJWAL is still on the bestseller list several hundred years from now, will that indicate that we failed or that we succeeded in defending Western civilization? The latter, I suppose, since the alternative is illiterate gay satanists living in filth and literally devouring each other whenever they take a break from molesting stolen animals and kidnapped children. It does amuse me, though, to know that John Scalzi's lasting claim to fame in the long run is much more likely to be his brief appearance in SJWAL than any of the color-by-numbers works of fiction that he presented as his own over the years.

How low can they go?

Just how far back do the haters of Western civilization want to turn back the clock? Even farther back than you think.

Though accusations of cannibalism have often been falsely made to demonize groups, it isn't absent from human history. The Fore people of Papua New Guinea were reported to have participated in funerary cannibalism, believing it better that the body was eaten by people who loved the deceased than by worms and maggots. Parts of mummies were eaten for medicinal purposes in post-Renaissance Europe.

We suspect that we could adapt to human flesh if need be. Many people develop disgust for all kinds of meat, while morticians and surgeons quickly adapt to the initially difficult experience of handling dead bodies. Our ongoing research with butchers in England suggests that they easily adapt to working with animal parts that the average consumer finds quite disgusting.

Thankfully for most of us, there is no need to overcome our repulsion for the foreseeable future.

They reject Jesus Christ, they believe we are animals, and they want us to live like animals. There is literally no depth to which they will not sink, which is why we have to stand firmly against the entire project on behalf of our faith, our families, our nations, and our Christian civilization.

Mark this well: if you are on the side of equality, tolerance, inclusivity, and diversity, then you are on the side of the satanists, the cannibals, and the pedophiles... among others.

Marvel and the Devil Mouse abused Stan Lee

Both converged entities stand condemned by Stan Lee's daughter:

Of course they treat people badly. Even legends! They worship Satan and they are - at best - in league with pedos and child sex traffickers. What else would you expect?

Philosophy as tactical manual

A book recommendation from ex-Google whistleblower Zach Vorhies:

And this is not something that people understand intuitively and so the thing is, get this book, SJWS ALWAYS LIE by Vox Day and read it. It's a fascinating read and it goes by really quickly, and it's kind of a funny title but

ZV: Yes, exactly. Exactly.... So I followed this book, basically, as a tactical operation manual on how I was going to leak this information.

Debt jubilee: step one

President Trump has announced a policy directive to the U.S. Department of Education to immediately facilitate the discharge of federal student loan debt for any veteran permanently disabled as part of their military service.

It's a good start. The non-disabled vets should be next, followed by the unemployed. All student loan debt should be eventually discharged and all student loans should forbidden by state and federal law. They are intrinsically predatory and accomplish nothing except inflating the cost of higher education.

The longtime internet knitting community Ravelry updated its content policy this week to ban support of President Donald Trump from the platform. The new policy holds that support for Trump is support for white supremacy, which is not conducive to positive community-building.

Ravelry’s announcement of the policy change, made on Twitter on June 23, was short and to the point, noting, “We cannot provide a space that is inclusive of all and also allow support for open white supremacy.”

In the full updated policy, Ravelry clarified that its ban on Trumpism “includes support in the form of forum posts, projects, patterns, profiles, and all other content.” The policy also states that the ban does not apply to other forms of conservative content, nor is it intended to target conservative Ravelry users themselves, specifying that “hate groups and intolerance are different from other types of political positions.”

The policy also notes that Ravelry is following the lead of the longtime gaming forum RPG.net, which banned Trump support in October 2018.

Tolerance, Equality, Progress, Inclusivity, and Diversity. Those are the infection vectors of the Narrative. If you support any of those things in any capacity, if you so much as permit any of those things, your organization will be converged.

Flying the Devil's flag

Contra what many people would very much like to believe, Andrew Klavan is not, and has never been, one of the good guys. He is still a dedicated servant of the lie, as his own words testify:

He is saying the people I argue with, I'm arguing with, right, we're not we're not enemies, we're opponents in this fight. We're not hitting each other over the head with clubs. Here's just a taste of what Sean said, but what matters here is we can have a thorough, complete,  passionate,  open discussion of ideas and ideals. We don't need fists and baseball bats and maces, you know. This show will always condemn hatred on any side, white supremacy, bigotry, you have no place in this society, none whatsoever.

What society is that, exactly? What do you mean by "we", kemosabe. There is no "us". Andrew Klavan's show not only fails to condemn racial supremacy, he openly associates with known racial supremacists like Ben Shapiru and Dennis Prager. And let's face it, we all know he's intelligent enough to know better, which is how we observe that he is himself a liar, a subverter, and among those who seek to destroy both America and the West by transforming them into things they are not and have never been.

Anyone who claims to oppose "identity politics" at this point is either a clueless loser or a liar. I'm willing to cut some slack for the average idiot Boomer who was steeped in civic nationalism for his entire life, but the fact is that it is, and has always, been known to be, a polite fiction, as Belloc observes.

It was the attitude familiar to the nineteenth century, and agreeable to that one of its political moods in which it found itself best satisfied: ... of creating a fiction of single citizenship to replace the reality of dual allegiance; of calling a [foreigner] a full member of whatever society he happened to inhabit during whatever space of time he happened to sojourn there in his wanderings across the earth. That was the attitude agreeable on the political side to everything which called itself "modern thought." Such was the doctrine proposed by the great men of the French Revolution. Such was the attitude accepted almost enthusiastically by Liberal England, that is, by all the dominant public life of England during the Victorian period. Such was the policy which once obtained universal favour throughout the whole of our Western civilization. That was the attitude which the West actually attempted to impose upon Eastern States, and the last effect of its rapidly-declining credit is to be found in certain clauses of the Treaty of Versailles: for that attitude is still the official attitude of all our governments.

It's not  just "the Democrats" who are flying the Devil's flag, Mr. Klavan. And you obviously know damn well who else is flying the flag of their father.

The tragic cycle

It's really astonishing to read the perspicacity of Hillair Belloc regarding the centuries-old challenge to civilization posed by a single pre-Western tribe to the nations of the West in his landmark book, The Jews. Belloc not only predicted both the Holodomor and the Holocaust, but even observed that the latter would take the form of a violent large-scale reaction to Bolshevism in Russia, 20 years before the Wannsee Conference. Regardless of whether you are a clueless Christian Zionist, a frothing-at-the-mouth anti-semite, a wickedly subversive neoclown, or a proud Sabra, I would highly recommend reading Belloc's book due to the way in which it lays out the repetitive past as very probable prelude.

Now these causes of friction permanently present tend to produce what I have called the tragic cycle: welcome of a Jewish colony, then ill-ease, followed by acute ill-ease, followed by persecution, exile and even massacre. This followed, naturally, by a reaction and the taking up of the process all over again.

In our own time we have seen, quite lately, the succession of the second to the first of these stages; we have passed from welcome to ill-ease. That passage threatens a further passage from the second to the third; from the third to the terrible conclusion.

The important difference between then and now is that Israel now exists as a state as well as a nation, so for the first time in the history of Western civilization there exists a peaceful and civilized solution that does not involve Jews massacring a nation or a nation massacring Jews. Hazony notwithstanding, that is the real virtue of nationalism, and one which finally renders unnecessary the endless subversions and inversions of the Shapirus and Pragers of the world.

Devil Mouse shenanigans

It's not just the fake box office receipts. The Devil Mouse is playing fast and loose with its park revenues as well:

Marketwatch reports that Sandra Kuba, who was a senior financial analyst in Disney’s revenue-operations department, alleges that employees working in the parks-and-resorts business segment systematically overstated revenue by billions of dollars by exploiting weaknesses in the company’s accounting software.

Kuba, who worked for Disney for 18 years said she has met with officials from the Securities and Exchange Commission on several occasions to discuss the allegations, according to Marketwatch. She said she brought her concerns to the SEC in August 2017 and was fired from Disney about a month later....

Disney’s parks-and-resorts business consists of its amusement parks around the world, including the Disney World resort in Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim.

MarketWatch said it has reviewed the whistleblower’s filings, which outline several ways employees allegedly boosted revenue, including recording fictitious revenue for complimentary golf rounds or for free guest promotions.

Another alleged act involved recording revenue for $500 gift cards at their face value even when guests paid a discounted rate of $395.

The whistleblower filing alleges that in just one financial year, from 2008 to 2009, Disney’s annual revenue could have been overstated by as much as $6 billion, according to the report.

Since leaving Disney, Kuba has reportedly made two additional whistleblower filings. The most recent tip alleges that some Disney employees reclassified guest revenue from high-sales-tax items such as hotel rooms to lower-taxed items, such as food and beverages, in order to reduce sales tax liabilities in Florida, California, and Hawaii.

Marketwatch said Kuba filed a whistleblower-retaliation complaint with the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration in October 2017. Disney replied that Kuba’s employment was terminated because “she displayed a pattern of workplace complaints against co-workers without a reasonable basis for doing so, in a manner that was inappropriate, disruptive and in bad faith.”

While the SEC receives several thousand tips a year, the vast majority of which amount to nothing, one former SEC attorney said that the government appears to be taking the complaint against Disney seriously. “The fact that the SEC has asked for more information more than once and conducted interviews suggests an inquiry is underway,” Jordan A. Thomas, a former attorney in the SEC’s enforcement division, told Marketwatch.

Disney isn't just an evil, anti-Christian, anti-American organization, it is also a criminal enterprise. As the credit boom evaporates, more than a few Enrons are going to be uncovered and evaporate. Netflix and the Devil Mouse are likely to be two of the corpocracies exposed, although the value of the intellectual property that the latter holds means that it will survive in some fashion, although not necessarily as a singular entity.

Netflix, on the other hand, will simply disappear into the graveyard of forgotten corporatations.

Avanti Salvini

Matteo Salvini makes his long-awaited move:

What's happening here is that the nationalists of La Lega are in a position to take power in the Italian government without their former left-wing allies in the Movimento Cinque Stelle who have been preventing them from dealing conclusively with the migration crisis and the European Union.

So, Interior Minister Matteo Salvini, who is the most popular man in Italy now due to his forthright nationalism, brought down the government by severing the La Lega-Cinque Stelle alliance with the intention of forcing new elections in October. Rather than try to avoid the elections by putting together a new minority government, Conte elected to resign and end the current government.

The irony, of course, is that Salvini is the one politician who actually cares about the Italian nation. Conte is projecting when he implies that Salvini is only pursuing power for its own sake. And the amusing thing was the way that Salvini responded to Conte's broadside by kissing the crucifix he was holding in his hand.

I'm not entirely certain what he meant by that, but I suspect it was a gesture intended to echo that of many Italian soccer players when they are substituted for a starter. They reach down, touch the grass, cross themselves, then raise the team badge on the chest of their jersey and kiss it. In other words, Salvini was symbolically saying "you're done, Conte. It's my turn now."

Mailvox: team sports and omegas

An omega writes of his experience with team sports and group activities:

You're right about team sports: as an omega teenager, I was lucky enough to play hockey and football/soccer. I endured the bullying, but I didn't know why until I read your post.

I was also in the school's marching band, which was made up of mostly the school's best jocks with tiny number of lesser boys like me. Getting beaten with a mace by the leader or forced to run with your instrument above your head does kill fear and teach coordination through team-work. In no other context could an omega like me work alongside boys this high up the socio-sexual hierarchy. I hated it at the time but your post made me realise how lucky I was.

Unsurprisingly, the initiations were brutal. I was praised for taking it so well when other boys freaked out and sobbed, so respect can be earned, even as an omega. An important lesson.

I punched the aforementioned leader in the face once, but he let it go instead of ordering the band to tunnel me. The rest of the band followed suit and never brought it up again. A few in the band were younger alpha males, and as he was the oldest and the biggest, they obeyed.

I didn't leave and they didn't kick me out. Another important lesson: keep trying hard, and people higher up the socio-sexual rank will admire the effort. They won't give up on you. When I eventually became good at an arbitrary physical activity then even bullies would spread the word. As you said in one DarkStream, being good at something physical is important, even if it's just one small thing.

Thanks to your post, I now see that these experiences are why I relate well to other men - except gammas; they openly despise me - and alpha males instead of hating them. It made it easier to accept my station in life as well as some success with women.

This guy gets it. Accept your place, accept the hazing with equanimity, demonstrate your merit through actions instead of words, prove your loyalty, and you will find yourself rising in every male social hierarchy no matter how low you are on the totem pole at the beginning.

Men genuinely like underdogs, even the ugly ones. But an underdog absolutely has to show that he has fight if other men are going to cheer for him and stand by him.

The cancer protects itself

A Reprehensible emails his observation that Twitter is muting the voices of anyone who criticizes the entertainment blackwashing:

After seeing the cast of Wheel of Time I couldn't get my mind off of it so I made a twitter account using a throw away email account. I took a minute to grab some images from the web and put some propaganda/memes together, nothing special, and posted to the showrunners twitter. At first twitter gave me an error when trying to upload an image with the file name “not our Perrin”. Once I changed the name of the file to random numbers it let me post the image with my comment. The comment itself did not bring up race. I was IMMEDIATELY locked out of my account.

I followed the instructions to unlock my account through my email. I then navigated to the casting directors twitter and posted a similar image with a short message. I was once again locked out of my account. This time twitter was asking for my cell phone number to regain access to my account. I have a burner that I can use to get back into the account so I might continue but I'm amazed that they would be watching this so closely.

Also, as an aspiring illustrator/animator I keep seeing all of this twisting and perversion of stories that I would have loved to help get to the screen. Now I can't stomach the idea of working on them. They even "woked" the 'Cowboy Bebop' cast. Do you have any advice on how to keep from getting discouraged by all of this?

It's fascinating that they are clamping down on it so tightly. They must harbor some understanding the level of massive social fury they are inspiring with these blackwashing and gender-bending provocations.

As for getting discouraged, I don't understand that at all. This is a massive strategic blunder by both Hollywood and the Social Thought Police. They are showing their hand to everyone, thereby giving us the opportunity to replace them entirely. Don't be discouraged, be motivated and inspired!

It keeps getting worse

No wonder Epstein and his friends were trying to keep the records sealed:

Jeffrey Epstein once had three 12-year-old girls flown in from France for him to abuse as a sadistic birthday present, unsealed court documents have alleged.

The fresh allegations were made by Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who claims she was recruited to be a 'sex slave' by the millionaire financier and his girlfriend Ghislane Maxwell when she was 15 in 1999.

Giuffre made the allegations in a civil suit filed by the Miami US attorney's office in 2015.

Remember, this is the sort of thing that the US government authorities have been trying to keep under wraps. But a lot more of this sort of thing will be coming out soon.

UPDATE: The net is closing in on one of Epstein's friends:

Pressure was mounting on Prince Andrew last night to answer questions about his paedophile friend Jeffrey Epstein.

Young victims of Epstein begged the Duke of York to help them get justice as the prince was offered the opportunity to give sworn testimony on 'everything he knows'. After the duke declared himself 'appalled' at reports of the US financier's sex abuse of teenage girls, he was offered the chance to stand by his word and help their cases.

Lawyers said they looked forward to sitting down with Prince Andrew 'as soon as possible', suggesting that he go on the record about Epstein, whom he once reportedly vowed to 'be loyal' to.

Today it can be revealed that flight logs, obtained by the Daily Mail, show that one of Epstein's victims, 'sex-slave' Virginia Roberts, was flown to London, New York and the Caribbean in 2001. She has claimed that as a 17-year-old she met the duke in all three places and, in each case, research by the Mail suggests the duke was in the same vicinity at the same time.

The value of football

The Duke of Wellington said, ten years after the battle while at Eton: "The battle of Waterloo was won here." Richard Sherman, the outspoken cornerback, has a similar perspective:

I understand that football teaches you values. It teaches you accountability. It teaches you work ethic. It teaches you how to be a teammate. It teaches you how to overcome adversity. How to deal with loss. How to deal with being coachable. All those are skills that translate to the real world. In just about any job, you have to be part of a team. Don’t go into other people’s lanes. Football teaches you those lessons. It teaches you at a young age. It teaches you to overcome fear. It teaches you, ‘Hey, I’m 190 pounds and he’s 305 pounds. I still have to have to have the courage to go in there and mix it up with him.’ Those are lessons I don’t know how to teach otherwise … There’s a chance you’re getting hurt but there’s also a chance that you learn these lessons, you have a great life, you have a career. If you don’t play professionally, if you don’t even play in college, those life lessons that you learn will translate and elevate you in life in general.

Many of these things are true of all team sports, although football is special when it comes to teaching courage due to its intensely physical nature. Those who mock it as "sportsball" are ignorant fools and physical cowards who would never dare to line up in the trenches, either as children or adults, and will be of no utility whatsoever when the shooting starts.

Nuke it again, just to be sure

I despise Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series, so I'm mostly amused by the news that Amazon is blackwashing Perrin and Nynaeve:

Wheel of Time showrunner Rafe Judkins confirmed casting announcements for the upcoming Amazon adaptation. They cast Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve, and Madeleine Madden as Egwene Al’Vere. They also cast Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, and Barney Harris as Mat Cauthon.

I am a little disappointed by the casting of Rand al'Thor, however. Josha Stradowski's face isn't anywhere nearly punchable enough.

China threatens financial nuke

I'll have to think through this before reaching any firm conclusions, but I'm dubious that what has been called the Chinese "nuclear option" of selling its T-bills is likely to be a very effective tactic.

If there is any further pushback from the US on any of these Chinese projects in Iran, then Beijing will invoke in full force the ‘nuclear option’ of selling all or a significant part of its US$1.4 trillion holding of US Treasury Bills, with a major chunk of the paper due to be sold in September on this basis. This massive holding of these bonds - through which the US finances its economy and is an important factor both in the value of the dollar and therefore in the health of US international companies especially – has been used as a bargaining chip before by China, especially when it feels threatened. Back in 2007, just before the great financial crisis, a number of senior Chinese figures at various state-run think tanks – through which China often signals its big geopolitical threats – stated that the large-scale selling of this massive Treasury Bill holding would trigger a dollar crash, a huge spike in bond yields, the collapse of the housing market and stock market chaos.

Such a tactic would neatly fit into China’s overall strategy to have the renminbi challenge the US dollar’s status as the key global reserve currency and the prime currency for global energy transactions. “The long-planned sequencing for this was inclusion in the SDR {Special Drawing Rights] mix, which happened in 2016, increasing use as a trading currency, which followed that, use as the key currency of an international energy trading exchange, which has occurred with the creation of the renminbi-denominated Shanghai International Energy Exchange in last year, and the calls from big oil producers and other major trading nations to use the renminbi, which has been happening over the past few years,” the head of a New York-based commodities hedge fund told OilPrice.com. Only recently, Leonid Mikhelson, chief executive officer of Russian oil major, Novatek, said that future sales to China denominated in renminbi is under consideration and that US sanctions accelerate the process of Russia trying to switch away from US dollar-centric oil and gas trading and the damage from potential sanctions that go with it. “This has been discussed for a while with Russia’s largest trading partners such as India and China, and even Arab countries are starting to think about it... If they do create difficulties for our Russian banks then all we have to do is replace dollars,” he said. “The trade war between the US and China will only accelerate the process,” he added.

At first glance, it looks to me the potential US response of simply repudiating its debt and declaring those T-bills to be of no value will be considerably more harmful to China than selling the debt will be to the USA.

Those who are focused on posturing and threats never seem to keep in mind that the enemy always gets a vote.

Pervs and pedos in the UK

The seemingly inexplicable enthusiasm for the late Jimmy Savile on the part of the royals of the UK is beginning to make more sense with the Epstein revelations as well as a recently released FBI dossier on Lord Mountbatten, the viceroy of India:

Agents began compiling the file, which spans more than three decades, in February 1944, shortly after Mountbatten became supreme allied commander of southeast Asia. Following his appointment, the FBI interviewed Elizabeth de la Poer Beresford, Baroness Decies, about another matter, and she brought up Mountbatten, The Sunday Times reports.

The file reads: 'She states that in these circles Lord Louis Mountbatten and his wife are considered persons of extremely low morals. She stated that Lord Louis Mountbatten was known to be a homosexual with a perversion for young boys. In Lady Decies' opinion he is an unfit man to direct any sort of military operations because of this condition. She stated further that his wife Lady Mountbatten was considered equally erratic.'

The royal kept a large group of gay friends, including Noël Coward, Terence Rattigan, Ivor Novello and Tom Driberg, who reportedly referred to him as 'Mountbottom'.

Lownie's new book, to be published on Thursday, contains an interview with Anthony Daly, a rent boy to the rich and famous during the 1970s. Daly claims: 'Tom said Mountbatten had something of a fetish for uniforms — handsome young men in military uniforms (with high boots) and beautiful boys in school uniform.'

No wonder Princess Diana turned into such a lunatic after marrying into that family. And it's not exactly a mystery why Prince William seems to gravitate toward the relative normalcy of his in-laws.
