Google demonetizes Nick Fuentes

It's not right, of course, but I can't say I'm going to shed copious tears over Nick Fuentes being demonetized by Google:
Nicholas Fuentes, who gained headlines earlier this year, has been banned from streaming on YouTube, demonetized, and likely will be banned outright soon.
Now I suppose we'll find out if he's genuinely a fighter or if he's just another ex-YouTuber playing victim. Either way, it's a great time to go after YouTube, as the parent organization's top-flight legal chief is currently exiting Alphabet:
The changing of the guard at Alphabet  continues. Roughly one month after Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin announced they’d be stepping down as the CEO and president of the search giant’s parent company, one of their top lieutenants, Alphabet’s chief legal officer, David Drummond, told employees that he is also leaving the company.
I understand he is retiring in order to spend more time making new families.
The former employee with whom he shares a child, Jennifer Blakely, published a post on Medium last summer in which she described Drummond as a serial philanderer who left his wife for her, then left her and the son that he fathered with her for another now-former Google employee.

Blakely also claimed Drummond had had “an affair with his ‘personal assistant’ who he moved into one of his new homes.”

One day later, Drummond issued a statement of his own, acknowledging his relationship with Blakely and their “difficult break-up 10 years ago.” He went on to state that, “Other than Jennifer, I never started a relationship with anyone else who was working at Google or Alphabet. Any suggestion otherwise is simply untrue.”

Days after issuing the statement, Drummond married a Google employee he’d been dating.
Subscribe to Unauthorized, because no one knows how much longer the Darkstream will be on YouTube.

I hope Fuentes manages to tackle YouTube all by himself. He doesn't want to associate with lunatics like us, so good luck to him.

Blogger Ostar January 10, 2020 10:38 PM

So Fuentes is no longer.... “relevant”?

Blogger caecus January 10, 2020 10:51 PM

Wait, is this Jerry Springer?

Blogger Noah B. January 10, 2020 11:18 PM

Days after issuing the statement, Drummond married a Google employee he’d been dating.

So what office will he be running for?

Blogger Guy Incognito January 10, 2020 11:40 PM

Ah, Little Nicky, we barely knew yee.

He's just a smug, fast talking kid who's never been punched in the face before.
Reminds me of that other kid over on the Daily Wire.

"The former employee with whom he shares a child, Jennifer Blakely, published a post on Medium last summer in which she described Drummond as a serial philanderer who left his wife for her, then left her and the son that he fathered with her for another now-former Google employee."

It's almost amusing when the other woman thinks she'll be the only or the last "other woman". Did he tell you how you were his soulmate and special, Jennifer?

I worked with a woman who had an affair with a married guy and was absolutely shocked when he stepped out on her. The worst part is that she found out about it because he left "soiled" underwear in the hamper. When I told her that was an announcement and a trophy and not a mistake she was absolutely dumbfounded. She eventually took him back and we've lost touch.

Nick should get the gay mafia after youtube. They are very effective in defending members of thier community.

Blogger Unknown January 11, 2020 12:05 AM

Maybe now Nick get time to respond positive to the debate challenge.

Blogger God Emperor Memes January 11, 2020 12:24 AM

Excellent.

Blogger Autarky Bear January 11, 2020 12:41 AM

I can't help but grin a little seeing Nikki get banned. Of course the censorship is not right and ultimately YouTube/ Google will answer for their crimes. But there is a small amount of poetic justice that the "man" who whored himself out to the media is now being taken down a peg by the same people.

In the end Nikki doesn't have much time left in the limelight, due to his more intelligent former fan base no longer supporting him. His remaining supporters now must try to defend him even when he is apparently openly exposing his love for Catboy anime gammers. Optics and Western Civilization at its finest, as he says.

Blogger Autarky Bear January 11, 2020 12:43 AM

Maybe the Catgoy Anime gammer will rush to his aid!

Blogger jkmack January 11, 2020 1:27 AM

Lets make no mistake. Censorship is good and proper. The other side now agrees. The only thing to determine is what gets censored. Remember this when they make a free speech argument in defense of porn, or thier various marxist ventures.

Blogger Dwayne Thundergrit January 11, 2020 1:36 AM

So what's he guilty of, being a goyim or crimes against the prevailing propaganda line?

Blogger Dan in Georgia January 11, 2020 2:43 AM

I don't feel bad for Fuentes at all.

Wouldn't be surprised if the last straw was his stunt ambushing Shapiru and his family, filming it, and then bragging about it.

Shapiru probably called in a favor and pulled the trigger himself.

Looks like YT was smart this time and demonetized him before banning the channel. Stick a fork in Nikky, he's done.

Blogger Fuzzums Wuzzums January 11, 2020 3:43 AM

Blogger Gregory the Tall January 11, 2020 4:13 AM

Don't worry about Nick's income. He will not starve as he is on a most wholesome diet that has a track record of delivering all nutrients necessary for a baby's wellbeing.

Blogger Sargent.matrim January 11, 2020 4:36 AM

I watched a couple of his videos a while back. The guy was insufferable. His take down of Charlie Kirk was fun to watch though. But I always wondered if he was meant to take down Kirk, to protect Shapiro.

Once he went after Shapiro they neutralized him.

The bannings suck, but this guy didn't appear to add much value.

"with whom he shares a child"

Is there something disturbing about this phrasing, or is it just me?

Blogger SomeOne January 11, 2020 5:26 AM

He seems pretty unsurprised about it, and not particularly cut up about it. His Telegram feed can be pretty entertaining: @nickjfuentes1

Blogger Bernard Korzeniewicz January 11, 2020 5:41 AM

Well, I will observe and stay frosty.
It may be a method to give him a purple heart. "Look, he got deplatformed too". Just like grablers did with Adolf Hitler or Lech Walesa.

Blogger pdwalker January 11, 2020 5:54 AM

@Duke Norfolk - that’s clear signalling that he’s available for another affair.

Blogger tublecane January 11, 2020 6:42 AM

Hard to imagine a megacorp bothering about a smallfry like Fuentes. Then again, it's not much of a bother.

Blogger tublecane January 11, 2020 6:43 AM

What do you mean, "now?"

Blogger Longtime Lurker January 11, 2020 6:58 AM

It doesn't make sense for YT to terminate Darkstream because it will make UA TV stronger and cost YT clicks. Or am I missing something?

Blogger VD January 11, 2020 7:11 AM

Or am I missing something?

Yes. YT loses $750 million every year already. They don't care about what you think makes sense. We set up UATV precisely because we expected these deplatformings.

Blogger David January 11, 2020 7:28 AM

I do litigation- so even if corporate revenue are down they still probably have layers of ins coverage. Ins (depending on the policy) will pay for attorney fees. In-house counsel's job is primarily to retain outside counsel to handle lit. However, the recent settlement means one thing- $. Now the kids have a warchest to fund lit against other media and they are now more dangerous.

Blogger Damelon Brinn January 11, 2020 7:58 AM

Is there something disturbing about this phrasing, or is it just me?

It's not just you. It makes you think it means something other than an ordinary knock-up situation, like maybe they adopted an African together in a moment of heavy virtue-signaling, or a 17-year-old Thai ladyboy that they "share."

Think what it must be like to be a heterosexual male at a company like Google these days. All the other men nearby are likely to be gay trannies, smelly foreigners, or raging Gammas. With a little game, or just a willingness to abuse your power, it'd be easy to turn whole departments into harems.

Blogger tuberman January 11, 2020 10:04 AM

"Think what it must be like to be a heterosexual male at a company like Google these days."

ASSUMING he is a straight male entirely. Since BHO and his 'wife' you might update that viewpoint. I assume only that he's all about 'getting off.' He likely has a preference for females, but...?

Dots...47 million salary...dots...head lawyer with low level education. Okay, could be just the company virtue-signaling, but likely a big Satanic ticket taker with all that implies.

Have you seen any black rebellion against the Leftist movement toward feminization of males, including black males? Naw, only from rare right wing blacks. Most blacks have embraced the perversions, and that transition was smooth. None dare to disagree, or they are shoved off the Left's plantation.

Think about it. Black families destroyed over 50 years ago, after families gone, only weak perversions remain.

Blogger Unknown January 11, 2020 10:25 AM

I predict that they will never ban either you or JF. Nick just makes himself an easy, clippable target. Thats his mistake. Big tech moslty goes after soft targets.

Blogger Stilicho January 11, 2020 11:15 AM

@29-- David, insurance policies typically exclude intentional torts and won't pay for it. There could be some coverage if the defamatory conduct is alleged to have been negligent as well.

However, no insurance company is going to want to insure a media company for defamatory behavior. If they can find a policy at all, it is likely to be through a specialty carrier (Lloyds might do it but would charge exorbitantly for it) and any coverage would have relatively low limits which would decline as legal fees were charged against it. Plus, any such policy would not be renewed after a loss like this and any other carrier would not want to pick up the risk, so subsequent suits wouldn't have coverage or defense available.

However, if the purpose is lawfare, you simply draft the allegations so that there would not be coverage and then the target bears all costs directly.

Blogger Boomer55 January 11, 2020 11:45 AM

What I would really like to know is what is the reward for this financial sacrifice and how is it conveyed to those who are losing money? And a similar question, if it is ultimately a loss by the government, how are the government funds conveyed to YT? Stock sales?

Owners of YT prints money. Usually by adding "O" after a sting of numbers and pressing ENTER. Stop think about money as the end-all argument - money is only "other peoples debt". "Others people" = me + you too.

Invitations to all the best pizza parties.
Johnny wrote:And a similar question, if it is ultimately a loss by the government, how are the government funds conveyed to YT?
YT is owned and subsidized by Google. The money is routed to Google via overt government contracts and probably covertly as well, as ``advertising'' money that other woke companies spend, after receiving it from the government.

Blogger David January 11, 2020 2:31 PM

Stilicho- you are correct. And even if there is another claim the first thing all insurance companies try to do is get out of paying.

There is no person losing money. Google, which has literally billions in the bank, writes the loss off. Every person involved in that decision is taking home 7 figures.

Blogger VFM #7634 January 11, 2020 3:20 PM

@31 tuberman

Heh... so Drummond is black.

Heh.

I was wondering how someone that high up in Google and male could have a functioning sex drive, but that would explain it, 100%.

As to their rampant bisexuality... referencing John C. Wright's Moth and Cobweb series, I'd say if blacks aren't People of the Night, they're the best imitations of such we're ever likely to see.

Blogger Statix January 11, 2020 3:27 PM

This point has been made before, but it's worth repeating for anyone who still doesn't realize it yet. Nick Fuentes was probably raking in the biggest superchats of any YouTuber on a nightly basis. The fact that they demonetized him, and other popular YouTubers like Owen & Mister Metokur, proves that this company is not driven by profit. Their motives are political, ideological, spiritual. They don't see YouTube as a business or moneymaking venture; they see YouTube as a propaganda platform to reshape society in their image.

Blogger Statix January 11, 2020 3:45 PM

What is the cumulative effect of the hundreds if not thousands of channels that YouTube refused to run Tide commercials on, because they're so principled that they don't want to give money to non-SJW wrongthinkers?

Blogger Jim the Curmudgeon January 11, 2020 3:46 PM

Drummond was a particularly useless employee. Rumour is that he basically gave up on doing any actual legal work years ago, delegating everything to underlings. He's a good example of a guy who gets hired at the right time at a startup that happens to go big, as opposed to someone who had to fight their way up the ladder at an existing firm.

Blogger Statix January 11, 2020 3:58 PM

Do you know how many views YouTube gets on a daily basis? They don't care about losing a couple thousand or even million views. It's a sacrifice they'll gladly make if it means reducing public exposure to right-wing ideas. Remember, YouTube is a propaganda tool, not a moneymaking platform.

Blogger Ray - SoCal January 11, 2020 6:37 PM

Google got around $100 Billion a year in advertising Revenues for 2019, about 30-40% of all digital advertising around.
https://www.emarketer.com/content/global-digital-ad-spending-2019

So Google can afford to lose a lot of money in other areas. Most of the advertising money from news papers migrated online. Craiglist wiped out the classified advertising. And Google keeps on making it easier to lose money on their advertising for the unwary/uneducated ad buyer (most), to help Google's bottom line. Advertising is pretty much the only money making area Google has. They are trying to buy their way into health care. Facebook sucks up another 20% of all digital advertising.

Blogger MidnightSun January 11, 2020 7:26 PM

Cringe.

Blogger Ray - SoCal January 11, 2020 10:05 PM

With accounting, losses can be moved around. Peter Drucker made a joke about accountants where an accountant was asked what is 1 +1, and the accountant answered whatever you want it to be.

On YouTube, Where is the advertising money allocated of a lead picked up on YouTube for dirt cheap, and then gets lots of more advertising later on through remarketing. Or the value of what google learns about you from what you watch on YouTube (2nd largest search engine by traffic). Plus the value of screen time spent on a google property.

Facebook has also been going big into video.
