Then they came for Chuck Dixon

Reddit SJWs are attempting, with limited success, to brigade the latest episode of Chuck Dixon's Avalon by leaving negative comments and driving the rating down. They have managed to drive it down to about 7.6 from the 9.6 it was before. There are only about 20 of them, but that's been enough, apparently.  UPDATE: they've actually driven it below 7.0 now. As if that will accomplish anything. Gammas....

And in other Arkhaven news, Hypergamouse Episode 4, EVOLUTION IN ACTION, is now live.

For UATV subscribers, there is a new episode of Barcelona Life up on the new UATV site, featuring what I can testify is an excellent Kung Pao Chicken recipe.

Took about a month for action to begin on the new front.

Found the reddit thread here. They never change.

Does webtoon rating allow you to rate multiple times or merely to change your previous rating?

Blogger Unknown May 19, 2020 11:31 AM

The gamma lol tell is in full swing in that comment section.

Let's find out!

Liking these comics!

Btw, how do you pronounce Dynamique? Die-neh-mik? I guess she's French, so maybe it is Di-nah-mik?

Blogger VD Bear May 19, 2020 12:08 PM

I tried and it gave me a prompt that I had rated it before so I assume it only allows you to change your rating.

Blogger Student in Blue May 19, 2020 12:09 PM

Gamma/Omega mouse's face in the second to last panel is priceless. Really nails the disgust at doing such a "bothersome" thing.

Reddit user is a throwaway account

Blogger Scuzzaman May 19, 2020 12:36 PM

I think it’s Diu-Na-Meek, ideally with a Genf Swiss-French accent, that being the sexiest accent on the planet.

Good reminder anyway; read the newest episodes and 10/10’d all of em. Back to 7.9 when I finished. Always happy to lend a hand.

Blogger swiftfoxmark2 May 19, 2020 12:39 PM

From the reddit comments:

as long as he's not pushing his ideals into his comic and is just trying to tell an interesting story then I think it's fine for him to post.

Yeah, because you all never push your ideas in your comics. Like at all.

Blogger Doktor Jeep May 19, 2020 12:53 PM

I wonder what pro-lgbtp comics we can brigand and downvote?

Blogger VD May 19, 2020 1:04 PM

Btw, how do you pronounce Dynamique?

dee-nah-meek

From the brilliant, self proclaimed high IQ folks on reddit, LGBT is "not sexual" and is "actually child friendly."

Glossing over the telling "actually" here, three of the four letters in LGBT explicitly refer to behaviors that contain "sexual" as their root words: homosexual and bisexual.

Or, what do they think these letters stand for? Licensed Gamma Bitching Tirelessly?

Blogger Doktor Jeep May 19, 2020 1:15 PM

Is it ok to have a crush on Dynamique? A friend is asking.

This is worth a read due to being so short, and this sort of thing may be worth a footnote in texts seeking to understand the SJW. I imagine there's a general anatomy to the rationalizations for trying to get someone deplatformed while still ostensibly wanting to support 'fairness' and such.

"We, who are the good guys, must decide in our empowered righteousness what to do with those who we declare as the bad guys."

I hadn't signed up for webtoons, because frankly I find the presentation format irritating. But they want a fight, no problem. Signed up and subscribed.
So, where is the rating widget. I can't seem to find it.

Blogger Snidely Whiplash May 19, 2020 2:57 PM

For others with the same question, it's the green button in the upper right.
Seems odd to rate the series and not the comic, but, whatever.

Blogger VFM Bear May 19, 2020 3:02 PM

Snidely, at the end of every comic at the bottom you can also like each individual episode.

Blogger tbourdon May 19, 2020 3:03 PM

Subscribed and rated 10.

"Seems odd to rate the series and not the comic, but, whatever."

How often do you see book reviews give star rankings for individual chapters, let alone per page?

Blogger Doomfinger May 19, 2020 3:52 PM

I read the Reddit post, but I'm curious about what supposedly triggered this. Anything in particular, or did some bored loser just wake up wanting to do virtue signal?

Blogger sammibandit May 19, 2020 3:57 PM

Thanks Snidley. That was easy.

R Webfoot wrote:How often do you see book reviews give star rankings for individual chapters, let alone per page?Individual episodes are separate publications and separate works, not infrequently done by different writers, different artists, etc.

@24 "Individual episodes are separate publications and separate works, not infrequently done by different writers, different artists, etc."

Gotcha, you're thinking in terms of traditional comics.
Webtoons follows the webcomic standard, where each series typically has one creator, and each Webtoons update is the equivalent of a couple of comics pages. Alt-Hero and Avalon took about 6 updates to finish their Issue #1.

The smaller update schedule appears massively increase user interaction... each Webtoons update has separate "likes" and its own comments section. They probably got that from observing webcomics, where the popular ones with forums can get multi-page comment threads for each individual update.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

I don't read comics, but I sure do sign up and vote when it comes to these garbage humans.

Blogger Glaivester May 19, 2020 8:27 PM

I think I will have to make a quote from Avalon my signature:
"When you get to Hell, tell them Vendetta sent you."

Blogger map May 19, 2020 8:55 PM

Btw, about rating the comics.

When you are rating Arkhaven, be sure that you refresh the page. That way, you won't get the message saying you have already rated the comic.

Blogger Silly but True May 20, 2020 12:15 AM

JFC. It must get exhausting.

Blogger Taqiyyotomist May 20, 2020 2:57 AM

I'd bet my last dollar that the "seventeen year old girl" in the Reddit thread isn't either.

Blogger Darren May 20, 2020 10:24 AM

Dear Mockingbird MSM, I wonder if you know that you are promoting pedophilia...

Blogger Darren May 20, 2020 10:35 AM

Ratings Good.
Ability to create a new accoubt quickly with just a new emaip address Bad.
Still, "I DID MY PART".
Avalon done, now onto Jeeves and Hypergamouse and AltHero (in order of who needs it the most, probably)

Blogger James Dixon May 20, 2020 3:36 PM

Obviously I need to go through and rate some comics. I'll try to make time to do so.
