Nationalism intensifies

And it has a soundtrack. Speaking of nationalism, I'm told that the Man in Black at the beginning is one of Mongolia's Olympic champions. I don't know about you, but that makes me want to saddle up and ride with the Golden Horde against the globalists trying to eliminate the nations. I wouldn't have thought they could have topped The Great Chinggis Khan, but they did, and they did it without breaking a sweat.

The Men of the West should be as proud of their nations and heritages as the Mongols are of theirs. To Hell with civnattery.

I used to have doubts about the golden horde, not anymore.

It is difficult to express how awesome The Hu is.

3:28 I feel a great disturbance in the Force. As if a million pink hairs cried out, and then were silenced.

Blogger Scuzzaman July 30, 2020 1:33 PM

I, for one, welcome the new mongol hordes headbanging overlords.

Blogger Off The Wall July 30, 2020 1:39 PM

But but swastika!!!! Oh noes! The Mongols are the new Nazis!

Would not want to have to fight these fine people.

Blogger Krymneth July 30, 2020 1:49 PM

What a contrast between the ad I got and this video.

"Men, are you still powdering your balls?" (skip ad)

(this video)

Blogger Beans July 30, 2020 1:56 PM

Hmm... Wonder how many shorts are being changed in Beijing right now.

The last time the Mongols got this 'feisty' they took over half the world.

Re: Swastika -- Owen Benjamin (and a few commenters below the video) explained that the original mystical symbol that the Nazis appropriated. The Wheel of Samsara, describing the course the Big Dipper makes around the North Star over a year's time, is sacred in ancient Eastern religions.

Blogger IreneAthena July 30, 2020 2:02 PM

Backwards...the course Owen Benjamin's name makes in its annual circuit..

No need for US boats in the China seas.
A bunch of throaty horse riders will be much more capable if and when China needs to be dealt with.

Blogger Sean July 30, 2020 2:26 PM

Will we only get these type of anthems after the breakup?

Blogger Mr.MantraMan July 30, 2020 2:27 PM

Left a comment apologizing for our SJW behavior, hopefully the next Khan spares my descendants. I take note of the Mongols because that is the fate of Whites, huge empire gone bust descendants left in what remains. We might not have such a cool band though, that gives me the sadz.

Blogger Dark glasses Woody July 30, 2020 2:41 PM

Well that was a nice song. Bow in hand, hawk on arm, a stiff breeze off the steppes...

...the smell of ivy league universities burning.

Blogger Daniele Grech Pereira July 30, 2020 3:07 PM

That guy gets a pretty good sound out of that two stringed thing.

Blogger dangerdog July 30, 2020 3:19 PM

I was lucky enough to catch these guys in concert last year. The theater was teeming with energy. The crowd was chanting, "HU, HU ,HU!" One attendee danced on stage with the Mongolian flag. It was the best concert in my recent memory.

Blogger Desdichado July 30, 2020 3:20 PM

The swastika isn't "Eastern." It's thousands of years old and appears to have been something that the Indo-Europeans brought with them. They abandoned its use in Europe after time, but those who went eastwards kept it with them, which is why it seems like an eastern thing to us. But the eastern thing was brought to the east by Europeans; very close relatives of our own ancestors.

Great balls of fire. What awesome masculinity and femininity. Watching this video, one entertains the notion of how these men would stomp SJWs and their how-dare-you Karens into the dirt, laughing. I would love to see a very special (((someone))) demand they denounce their sacred symbol as hateful.

Blogger Rakshasa July 30, 2020 4:05 PM

Weird how that style of music feels so right for them as it does for my people.

Blogger Warunicorn July 30, 2020 4:18 PM

It's like Rammstein's material but not corny and without the leftist bent. Me like.

Blogger Tom July 30, 2020 4:26 PM

The ladies weren't hard on the eyes either.

Can we trade Justin Trudeau for Khaltmaagiin Battulga? The Mongols can do what they want with Justin. Like stake him out on the steppe and watch the eagles eat his entrails.

Blogger #7139 July 30, 2020 4:27 PM

...the smell of ivy league universities burning.

That is the smell of victory.

Blogger Rakshasa July 30, 2020 4:30 PM

It's not Rammstein inspired, it's definitely based on Norwegian black metal.

They have the same feeling of living under cold and oppressive mountains that is at the core of Norwegian black metal, with what is quintessential european replaced with asian.

Blogger RandyB July 30, 2020 5:17 PM

"The ladies weren't hard on the eyes either."

Two reasons:

1. They are smiling. Honest, genuine smiles.

2. They are not obese, or even "curvy".

Those two make a HUGE difference.

Blogger Gettimothy July 30, 2020 5:21 PM

The Mongols vs. The Vikings would be football I would eagerly watch.

Blogger Canada78Bear July 30, 2020 5:25 PM

Indeed, this video needs upvoting and mass propagation like Gungnam Style by Psy.

Already thumbed up and fwded.

Blogger Angela July 30, 2020 5:29 PM

Aaah, no way!!!! I love the Hu!!! I usually listen to the Hu, Danheim, Heilung, and the like. Glorious!!!!

Blogger An Orthodox Christian July 30, 2020 5:31 PM

Between here (VP) and SG lies the talent to "build.your.own.platform" in nationalist music. Why wait?

Blogger Jack Ward July 30, 2020 5:34 PM

@25 They have the same feeling of living under cold and oppressive mountains that is at the core of Norwegian black metal,

Brings to mind Nox Arcana, the group. Mostly sombre, dark, and, often heavy music, some vocals. Lighter moments when the harpies are feeding on humans.

Blogger Canada78Bear July 30, 2020 5:35 PM

Hmm. As the Nazis culturally appropriated the swastika, through this video it should be possible to get the Left to not only promote it but celebrate the diversity.

Blogger ~brb July 30, 2020 5:40 PM

What, you've never heard of The Hu before? Try "Wolf Totem."

This is the kind of music that Star Trek should have ascribed to Klingons.

Blogger brbrophy July 30, 2020 6:01 PM

This is even better than Heilung but slightly less terrifying than Krigsgaldr by Heilung

Blogger Yukichi Sensei July 30, 2020 6:49 PM

Any country that can keep its tradition of victory and honor alive should be respected. Consider they were trapped between two communist governments for 70 years.

Well played, Mongols.

The Hu in Mongolia, Bloodywood in India, nationalism rising all over the globe. The death of the grabbler music industry will birth a musical Renaissance everywhere!

Blogger mrpinks July 30, 2020 8:33 PM

Blogger kegg'luner July 30, 2020 8:58 PM

The curved blade is similar to the Alaskan ulu, a knife used to filet and prep salmon for the smokehouse. Quite sharp and useful. Interesting to see it used in Mongolia.

Mongolian Nationalist Rock -- mixing Rock with traditional Mongolian instruments and throat singing. Too cool!
The animated swastika isn't meant as homage to Nazis: the majority of Mongolians (53%) are Buddhists of the Tibetan variety. In Buddhism, the swastika symbolizes the auspicious footprints of the Buddha.

Anyone who has the time and the talent to make a country music band in the States that is themed like the Cowboy Finds God, the Crusades, and Doesn't Give a Fuck About the Heathens anymore will have a lifelong listener in me.

We have some friends whose son is BIG into The Hu. He introduced us to them about a year or so ago.

Best part? His parents are full Churchians who have no clue what he's doing.

My fave is from a Turkish artist. Erdogan appropriated this song and was widely made fun of for it. The clip features Turkic (?) riders and a trick to kill the enemy. High energy folk music.

Dombira- Arslanbek Sultanbekov.
