The myth of a free nation

The Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave has become the Land of the Fearful and the Home of the Censored:
A new Cato national survey finds that self‐censorship is on the rise in the United States. Nearly two-thirds—62%—of Americans say the political climate these days prevents them from saying things they believe because others might find them offensive. The share of Americans who self‐censor has risen several points since 2017 when 58% of Americans agreed with this statement.

These fears cross partisan lines. Majorities of Democrats (52%), independents (59%) and Republicans (77%) all agree they have political opinions they are afraid to share.
That's what happens when your rulers criminalize excessive noticing. Or, as is increasingly the case, any noticing of anything. Remember, those who are inverted always fear that which is true, so they demand your assent to their lies for their own protection.

Americans are no longer free and they cannot reasonably be described as a free nation. Not when you can lose your job, be banned from education, fined, and jailed for doing nothing more than simply questioning the Promethean narrative.

I visited my parents last week. They wondered why I always seemed so defensive and prone to self censorship. But when someone like me refuses to believe the Narrative and someone like them watches TV all the time, well...

And of course my father has TDS.

Republicans are afraid of their opinions? Then what's the fucking point of having an opinion? I think Israel is one of the most immoral countries today, closely followed by America. See how easy it is.

No, you illiterate. Republicans are afraid of VOICING their own opinions in public, at work, or any time and place other than with ONLY the small circle of people whom they already trust.

Blogger Sheila4g July 28, 2020 10:34 AM

That's why nothing will change until more Americans are no longer 'fearful' - having already lost everything. Not merely their jobs or their homes, but their credit cards or bank accounts because of their 'hateful politics.' When they cannot enter a store to buy food until they are masked, gloved, and present proof of having accepted Gates' 'vaccine.' It's getting closer far faster than I believed it would, but I have no doubt it's coming before I reach my dotage. I am fearful only for the future my sons will have to endure.

Lots of interesting stuff in there, not that it's surprising. Personally, my favorite is that the ardent Promethean slaves are overwhelmingly in favor of destroying all dissenters, while cucks are overwhelmingly opposed to destroying Prometheans.

One wonders what opinions 52% of Democrats have that they're afraid to share. Does that mean they have genuinely non-PC opinions, or that they buy the Left's narrative that we actually live in a right-wing fascist dictatorship where you can get in trouble for being too liberal?

I'm not worried about it, if the time comes there will be enough snipers and people on the Shield Wall. People of all sort on the Right avoid confrontation, as it's not Normal. The desire for constant confrontation is a product of being mental unbalanced. So most people on the Right hang onto their anger in a way to keep a normal life, but the rage is there. It will come out in a controlled way, as when you go feral, you can't calmly take the shot between breaths.

I made a Facebook post about the apparent differences in men's and women's approach to team competition in response to my hospital's effort at forming Fitbit step challenges. I found that a nurse(s) had taken offense at my "sexist" remarks and passed around a screenshot to her outraged colleagues. My CEO and ER Medical director brought this up at our monthly meeting. I found the whole thing pretty infuriating but as a skilled physician working in a politically conservative, rural area and someone passed the usual retirement age, I feel fairly secure job. But everyone I know feels somewhat muted in what we can safely express in public.
I especially feel sorry for younger people who are just starting in their careers and trying to establish a family.
The situation is intolerable.

Psalm 37: A Psalm of David.

1Do not fret because of evildoers, Nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.
6 He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, And your justice as the noonday.
7 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret--it only causes harm.
9 For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the Lord, They shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, But it shall be no more.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
12 The wicked plots against the just, And gnashes at him with his teeth.
13 The Lord laughs at him, For He sees that his day is coming.
14 The wicked have drawn the sword And have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay those who are of upright conduct.
15 Their sword shall enter their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.
16 A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked.
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, But the Lord upholds the righteous.
18 The Lord knows the days of the upright, And their inheritance shall be forever.
19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time, And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
20 But the wicked shall perish; And the enemies of the Lord, Like the splendor of the meadows, shall vanish. Into smoke they shall vanish away.
21 The wicked borrows and does not repay, But the righteous shows mercy and gives.
22 For those blessed by Him shall inherit the earth, But those cursed by Him shall be cut off.
23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.
27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore.
28 For the Lord loves justice, And does not forsake His saints; They are preserved forever, But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off.
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell in it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, And his tongue talks of justice.
31 The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.
32 The wicked watches the righteous, And seeks to slay him.
33 The Lord will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
34 Wait on the Lord, And keep His way, And He shall exalt you to inherit the land; When the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
35 I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a native green tree.
36 Yet he passed away, and behold, he was no more; Indeed I sought him, but he could not be found.
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble.
40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

TL/DR: Do not fret. God wins and we win.

VD: "Americans are no longer free and they cannot reasonably be described as a free nation"

While I don't disagree with this statement, it lacks context. IS there a free nation extant in the world today, in the 1st or 2nd world? Who?

Blogger SemiSpook37 July 28, 2020 11:55 AM

It all depends on who you talk to, as well.

In my line of work, it's clearly apparent that politics is involved on a number of levels. As one of the worker bees, as long as you're not upsetting the apple cart, especially when it comes to the folks ultimately signing the checks, you should have nothing to worry about.

That said, it is rather comforting to know that there are folks that do share some level of agreement on political matters, just so long as it's kept out of earshot of the HR geniuses (I'm actually lucky; haven't dealt with an HR critter directly in well over a year, and they're not in my immediate place of work, either).

I think a lot of the angst comes from those that just want to start stuff up to start stuff up, whether it's due to some psychological issue, ideological zest (but I repeat myself there), or sheer boredom. My FIL falls into this latter category. Only so much you can do glued to the boob tube all day long. He doesn't understand what it's like to live in a place where you're being pandered to by both sides like I have for part of my life. You learn to see right through it pretty quick, especially when you end up in a place that's been under 1 party rule for eons, like where I'm at now.

I'll admit it, I'm conflict-adverse, but my tolerance and patience is wearing thinner with each passing day. It's especially frustrating since there are so many hoops to jump through in order to adequately protect my family with the proper tools. At some point, whether these idiot agitators realize it or not, something's gotta give, and it's going to be ugly.

I just pray I have the wisdom and the fortitude to be ready when that moment finally arrives.

The questions then becomes, if the people here won, would you allow the leftist, communist, globalists to have 'freedom' to express their drivel?

The way to win, is live better. BB has a good point here. You do not have to homestead to do it. There are more than two choices, even in the beast. Always yelling "DA JEWS" or "TRUMP" is by far from the exclusive choice. Refusing to signal your virtue to a leftist when they ask you about diversity, not being fearful of corona, or about how much you hate Trump, matters.

Being a rock in the time of chaos, people can see 'oh he is not shifted by the narrative. I wonder why?'

Trust God. Live well. Love your nation.

Evil must fail. Fear not, the progressive narrative is itself a lie. Their system is ending in collapse ( a big point on this blog) and that means, avoid signing on now. No ticket taking for you? You will be blessed. True, all the debt will not be yours, but did you really need it?

I am nearing the end of my sixth decade, and I can remember when this was a free country:

An older friend told me about being in his late teens, and walking into a hardware store half drunk, in a town where he was a stranger, and asking for a case of dynamite. The clerk's only question was whether he wanted blasting caps with it.
I can remember being in an airport waiting to board a jet, and my father asking the pilot if he could carry his expensive rifle on board rather than put it in the baggage hold. The pilot said yes, of course. Even back then, nobody fully trusted the ramp rats.

Eastern Europe is freer than Western Europe, that’s for sure. And a case can be made that Eastern Europe is freer than the US.

In Eastern Europe, you are not forced to bake a cake for sexual deviants.

In Eastern Europe, you can express opposition to mass migration and not be charged with a “hate crime”.

Czechia is going to institute gun rights in their Constitution.

Eastern Europe is free from immigrant atrocities.

Eastern Europe has greater economic freedom. Before the China virus, they have the lowest unemployment in Europe and robust economic growth. During this pandemic, their economic downturn is not as bad as the rest of Europe.

Vox is the original proponent for "Build Your Own Platforms" and has put it into practice, creating a fact-centered (as opposed to publication-centered) fork from Wokipedia and 2 chat platforms.

Hosting his own blog would be trivial by comparison.

There are good reasons why Vox continues to run this blog on a google-owned platform, and he has a backup plan -- which, in the interest of OPSEC, neither you nor I have been told about. So, don't worry your little head about it, because I don't worry mine about it, either.

Self-censoring is the prudent course of action right now, not due to fear, but because going on public platforms to self-identify as an enemy of the Promethians demonstrates tactical incompetence. America is so profoundly cucked that any nail that sticks up will get smashed down. Instead, it's better to prepare for war. To strengthen your mind, body, and spirit. If you're in a city, get out now. Move somewhere that you can connect with like-minded individuals that are also preparing. There is a meme in the Q community of Pepe whispering "soon...". Yes, soon. None of us are free in any absolute terms. We all have to breathe. There are laws to living and we obey them or we die. We are inherently limited.

But Americans were once the free-est people on this planet in political terms. That was no small thing. It is a shame it is gone because the free-est people on the planet today, in a national sense, is probably "everyone and no-one".

In another sense, we're all free. They can threaten us, they can dis-employ us, they can mob us, they can kill us.

They cannot take away our God-given ability to think and choose and believe for ourselves.

"...What’s coming is like nothing you’ve seen before. Americans who have never lived overseas, been through revolutions, wars, or coups simply cannot imagine. The world is always on the brink of evil and evil does exist. It can manifest here too.

In the past few years, tactics have been slowly tested and normalized. One is the human moderation of trend lists and the rise of algorithms and AI to selectively show what people see. Five years ago I was told this was a myth, that trends were never touched by humans. Now we know.

Then they tested shadowbanning and view suppression. Again, we were told this was a myth and conspiracy. Today it’s openly discussed as part of business. It was normalized.

They tested deplatforming with Alex Jones, an obvious target that nearly everyone could be convinced was banworthy and unpersonable. In the past year, it’s not even questioned by mainstream media when much milder personalities are deplatformed.

Then they tested their new tool with monetization. Payment providers discovered that they could normalize this too. Starting with concepts like “gun vendors” and now targeting people and their families on a personal level (see Gab’s founder).

Then they went after the major independent news and blog sites. First they fact checked them. When that became normal, they moved to complete delisting in search and then outright bans from social media. This too, was normalized.

Then they went after video channels, testing their censorship on the obvious targets people might agree with banning. Now, as of the past couple of days, they are demonetizing huge swaths of the YouTube commenter genre. This is happening today.

Today, no reasons are given for bans or suspensions. There is no appeal, no accountability. It started small, with test cases, and expanded as they discovered people were unable to mount an effective defensive. The reasons are secret. And it’s getting worse.

Every tweet I make I am careful. I’ve never spent so much time finding roundabout ways or euphemisms to critique power. The media isn’t speaking truth to power. They are all the same, with the same talking points. The ones allowed to be promulgated.

Things are happening on an unprecedented global scale. The frog has been boiling for five years. It was a huge mistake for this administration to ignore the global lockdown on free speech and communication. It will cost them.

This isn’t a left VS right issue. It’s not a culture war issue. The culture war is a pretense, a distraction.

This is about power...."

Some are that stupid, the blessings of diversity. Others are mentally ill, the blessings of a tranny-infested industry. The rest, whatever sane, capable men they might still employ, are largely spergy Secret Kings who can't accept that they could ever lose to the lusers. See also Patreon.

Imagine a straight, white, Christian man who is basically normal except that he has a high IQ. He's good with tech, but not to the exclusion of everything else, so he has other interests. He's a husband and father who takes his family to church on Sunday, or aspires to be that. That man doesn't exist in the Silicon Valley startup world, and if he was ever hired by a company like Twitter, he's been purged by now or is lying extremely low.

They simply don't have anyone with common sense to make decisions anymore.

Then 'real' progress can happen. Dude is from SA, and never heard anything about Nelson Mandela's ANC murdering 14,000 other leftists, tire fires etc. Maybe he's too young.

The leftist definition of 'publicly dangerous opinions' often involves deep self-hatred and a desire for their own people to all die. There's the prohibition on Noticing, but there's also rubbing things to Notice in one's face. Almost as if they want to maximize anxiety.

For instance, I was watching a movie recently with exceedingly weird ethnicity. Not talkin' the usual Benettonian attempt to get every color of the rainbow in every shot. Rather, relations between characters appeared to have been designed in a lab to be as confusing as possible. (Or close-to, because a couple of them still made sense.)

A Latina actress played a bride
Her mother was Latina also, so okay there
Her father was Irish, go figure
Her half-sister (shared father) was Italian
Somehow, they were all meant to be Jewish
The Jewish grandmother was a generically white actress
The groom looked Native American
The wedding officiant was Chinese but spoke with a thick Australian accent

You can't even say all of this is not to be commented upon, in the "colorblind casting" fashion. Because I'm fairly certain some of it is supposed to have meaning, if only as a way to annoy me.

I've quite enjoyed the tiny bit of time I was able to spend in Central and Eastern Europe.

I found picking up basic Bulgarian phrases much easier than Hungarian.

It's absolutely about power.

The Left is going for Soviet America/Venezuela Norte.

No. They tested website deplatforming in Aug 2017 with the Daily Stormer when they were refused Cloudflare and their site was stolen. They them went on to have 14 domain around the worlsome only lasting a day. Now that they've destroyed the site, they've allowed them to keep this domain the last 6 mos, but that's always subject to change. They stole Spencer's domain for a comment by an unknown commenter.
It doesn't matter if you love or hate these people, it matters if you get the timeline story correct. For the record, Anglin lost his site a couple of days after C'ville because he posted a story making fun of her for being a fat Antifa pig.

Once again, I didn't say I supported TDS, I am saying if you're gonna tell the story, tell it correctly.

@ Scuzzaman - you forgot to say "irrelevant in my opinion". I have to think that having 1 real, working, free nation in the world you can point to and visit and emulate would be at least a tiny bit relevant to the promulgation of freedom - sort of how the American Revolution did starting in 1783. It would also be instructive, should a modern example exist, on how to combat the Promethians successfully. No, I have to disagree. My question was the precise opposite of irrelevant.

Anyone who is surprised by the actions of ZOG and the Jew ran media, let me prepare you-its about to get really, really crazy. If you think Trump is going to win and they will finally accept defeat and go on their merry little way, be prepared because they will be out for blood, full stop.
The crying co-ed memes will be replaced with home invasions and people being beaten in the street in broad daylight with no ramifications.

Has the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights done anything but provide cover for the enemies of both the American Nation and Christendom?

OT the new Star Wars Squadron game, a 21st century take on the old XWing and TIE Fighter games has the nauseating level of girl power and diversity we now expect and loathe, at least what theyre emphasizing in the gameplay video. Once again, diversity means displacing, minimizing and excluding white males and not simply including those overlooked before.
Fierce white female pilot, wise black female officer, even tough as nails lesbian chinese female.

@58- I saw footage of that fat pig being carried down the street, and that's exactly what she was.

In their warped minds, the First Amendment defends crosses in pee, and pornography, but not a statement critical of their failed policies.

not being fearful of corona

went to Kokomo Speedway ( GYATK ) Saturday night for the 2nd night of Indiana Sprint Week. officially, it was to be 50% capacity.

in actuality, it was about 90% capacity, and i saw perhaps a dozen masks ( all on older people who DO need to be careful about My Corona ). circle track people already know.

I have an image in my head of kjiuhwnf standing in front of the Dark Lord, cap in hand while Vox is frantically spamming the 'Trapdoor button' under his desk.

more likely, Vox is contemplating whether or not he really needs to use a blade to split that reedy neck so that he might procure the skull.

Not in the USA. Our current government is fully converged. But much of the dissent occurs in anonymous self hosted blogs and over coffee.

The news reports were christened Pravda years ago.

Agree with the imported scum.runnimg this place? Yeah right. We obey the Eleventh commandment: thou shalt not get caught.

Jerry Nadler is queer AF. I didn't know that until just now. I mean, I knew that his physiognomy was a dead ringer for Batman villain The Penguin, but it turns out that Jerry Nadler also talks like a fag. Globohomo is real!

An ominous sign of things to come when (D)s gain power and get their red flag/Gun Violence Restraining Order laws passed. https://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2020/07/28/semi-automatic-weapon-orangevale-neo-nazi-andrew-casarez/
