The God-Emperor delivers again

Amy Coney Barrett has been confirmed by the Senate as a U.S. Supreme Court Justice, 53-46. She may not be ideal, but she's almost certain to be much, much better than the late, unlamented Ruth Bader Ginsberg.

  1. I doubt that Chuck Schumer was being ironic here and was clearly not referring to those unborn who have been and will be aborted.

    1. If Israel was really "our greatest ally", they wouldn't have traitors like Chuckles here undermining our sovereignty. They are our enemy, and they act like it. Chuck needs to be deported, and all his property seized for compensation for the damage he did while working for Israel.

  3. She is going to be great.

In other news it looks like around 2 to 3 percent of mail in votes never arrive according to early evidence.
Once agains dems are so dumb that now they finally realize that 2 to three percent of heavily dem early voting won't arrive. Look for this to be moaned about in a few weeks when they try to get lost ones admitted when Trump win PA by 40k votes.

  4. Not a single Republican cucked. Not Collins, Murkowski, Romney...

And we're supposed to believe Georgia and Texas are tossups.

Trump is going to absolutely clean up, even the cucks know it.

More than that. At the end of his next term, Chief Justice Clarence Thomas will be ready to retire and be replaced by the god-Emperor. Roberts will have been in Gitmo a few years by then, the only question being will he be above the ground or below.

  10. He did get it done. He pushed, rather lightly... at least publicly. I don't know how he got Mitch and fellows on board. But he definitely did, and with plenty of time to spare. Even the cow ski. That surprised me. Probably didn't want Pelosied. Didn't even need Pence. Interesting.

  11. This also tells you the Senate knows Trump will win. If they didn't think so, they would have delayed it a couple weeks to see the outcome of the election. Because you know if he lost and wouldn't be around four more years to punish them, they'd never confirm his pick. Not 50 of them.

This will be a huge morale booster for Republicans coming into Election Day, and the opposite for Democrats. They're having pity parties at places like r/politics right now and crying about how there's no point in voting when it just leads to this.

  13. Actual vote was 52-47. Collins decided to waste her vote, and for some reason Grassley assumed Harris was voting "Nay" as if she was there.

GTV is also claiming Hunter banged one of Obama's daughters, but you couldn't tell from the video that was released.

Whoever those two children who lived in the Whitehouse are, they most certainly are NOT Obama's kids. Not one single photograph exists of either of them with Barack nor with Big Mike before he Barack ran for public office.

  31. So much drama. So many threats. One would have thought it was going to be the end of the world if POTUS got this SCOTUS appointment, yet the sun will rise tomorrow, as always. And life goes on.

Still not tired of winning, Mr. President. It will take a whole lot more of their losing (their heads, their lives, their freedom, their power, their elections, their minds) for this American to become tired of winning. And quite frankly, defeating evil will never get tiring. We have decades of built-up swamp scum to clean up. Let us pray ACB does not disappoint. You do have her files...right?

  36. The hilarity of it all is that for 8 years while Obama was in office Ginsburg could have retired and he would have appointed another radical lesbian to the bench. Instead the hag well into her 80's and in declining health chose to stay on the bench then croaked a month before the most important election in US history! God Emperor then appoints ANOTHER justice to the Supreme Court. One has to believe Divine Intervention is responsible for the sequel of events because nobody could write this script! Libs, especially the women, must be flailing in their skin. They just never look forward and never take responsibility for imbecilic decisions.

I've been hearing she's not going to run again. In any case, she already showed her colors against Kavanaugh. At this point, she might as well ingratiate herself further to the feminists so she can get a nice sinecure with some woke corporation or NGO.

    1. Collins only voted to end debate. She voted against ACB. Trump will be unpersoning her until she "retires". He doesn't need another McCain in the senate, and he'll win Maine despite her. TGE won't even utter her name now. He gave them all fair warning, support POTUS' agenda or else. People in Maine will notice that nothing she supports ends up part of any appropriation. Mitch will strip anything by her from every bill. She'll lose committee chaimanships. A ghost. Trump brought Romney to heel, Collins wasn't smart enough to take the hint. She's toast, and doesn't even know it yet.

  44. Anyone else of the opinion that Clarence Thomas should retire two years from now so we don't get the reverse of this in five? The guy's done good work, but he's getting long in the tooth. We don't want him to be remembered primarily for hanging on too long and getting himself replaced by a hard leftist.

    ReplyDelete
  45. IMO Ginsburg hung on because Obama was not going to appoint another Jew, and the Garland thing was just theater. As for her role as culture vulture that was frosting she and her bloc are on the USSC for really important cases involving financial shenanigans. While we rubes both left and right fight for the scraps via the culture war BS her and her gang take off in the night with the silverware, bank account PINS, and power of attorneys signed over.

  46. @Zaklog I would prefer Breyer to retire, but strategically it would be wise for Clarence Thomas to pick a successor to suggest to Trump.

Under normal circumstances, yes. But it depends on how serious you think the Prometheans are about packing the courts next time they get in. If you expect them to do that, it really doesn't matter whether Thomas dies and they replace him, or they just add 2-3 more of their own to counter him. If it comes to that, courts won't matter much longer anyway.

He's evil, has stonewalled Trump on appointments by never letting the Senate go into recess the whole time Trump's been in office, and has done nothing to change the precious Senate rules that make the normal method so slow Trump will not complete his Administration before he leaves office in 2025. And he and Chinese wife are awfully comfortable thanks to her family's PRC shipping firm. But he does indeed get some credit, he's no cuck Ryan.

That catamite poofter did whatever he was told to do, by whomever was behind him with the biggest stick at any given moment.

If one accepts the theory of Q, then it is possible that supreme court justices were high priorities for DECLAS-threatening. Justices stubbornly hanging on until Trump makes more sense in light of that, as well as curious rulings that could have easily gone the other way (Heller, etc).

Perhaps anticiapting her losing her reelection this year. Or not caring since she voted the right way for cloture, which is actually a better sign than the final vote which is formality, but of course the one we're directed to pay attention to.

    @60 B:

Query: Why didn't John Roberts swear in ACB? Because he doesn't want to pique his leftist friends and, of course, because he is now irrelevant.

Heh. But the official story is that she requested Thomas for the first and most public one, Roberts gave the second judicial one today.

But I think he's still quite relevant, note for example that Gorsuch also voted that that 1960s "civil rights" law now applies to World War T. Her adoption of a couple of Haitians is quite revealing, a lot of us are not counting on her changing what might previously have been a 7-2 or 6-3 "liberal" vs. "conservative" lineup. Might make a change for the Second Amendment, the Supreme Court allowing near complete lower court reversal of Heller and MacDonald has been much remarked on, and she in essence ran on that issue to get picked by Trump, who's RKBA record is dreadful.

I expect she will virtue signal hard left on every cause that matters to leftists. I expect that Roe v Wade is safe as long as she's there.
ThatWouldBeTelling wrote:Might make a change for the Second Amendment, ... and she in essence ran on that issue to get picked by Trump, who's RKBA record is dreadful.
Maybe. They always run Right and then swing Left, so I don't think that means much. Since Trump's record truly is dreadful on guns and supremes, I wouldn't bet that he chose well for us or got any kind of binding commitment from her on that. Trump is almost certainly honestly anti-abortion, but I'm not sure that any of his picks so far are going to do anything about it.

Barrett is better than Ruth for sure. Is she better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick? Maybe.

I strongly suspect that Trump isn't going to enthrone any supremes who might decrease federal power or increase our freedom. I don't think either of those outcomes are on his wish list.
