The silence of the boards
Everything is quiet. Very quiet. Could it be... the calm before The Storm?
Or perhaps everyone is just conspiracied out for the time being. At this point, I think I'd greet the announcement that a Sino-Pakistani alliance has declared war on India and Japan has announced in response that it is now a full-scale nuclear power with secret missile bases on the Moon with a yawn and a shrug.
Don't worry about it. Read a book. Learn your culture. Go for a walk. Work out. Get some rest, because it looks like we're going to be in for an exciting week that begins tomorrow, one way or another.

Count me with the conspiracied out crew...you have a blessed day. It's all in the hands of God now.
We are at the beginning of the William Tell Overture.
Just got back from a walk with the dog. I noticed how quiet and peaceful it was in my little neck of the woods. I thanked God for all that he has given to me.
I have a great sense of peace at this moment. I know we are going to turn a corner very soon, and I mean that in a good way.
I agree, I'm not too worried, we have 9 days, maybe even more and there is no point of sitting around refreshing all your browser pages every 5 minutes hoping to see something happen.
If you feel persecuted, go out and rejoice... it is your duty.

I hope those missile bases are on the dark side ...

Best advice I've seen anywhere this year. Its what the struggle is for, afterall. The God-created, God-seeking nations (Acts 17:26-27) vs Nimrod's sterile, murdering, warring, treacherous Babylon (Revelation). The struggle never ends, but neither is it the end in itself - we all fight so that there is space for the good, the beautiful, and the true to flourish. I believe Chesterton said the soldier fights, not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him. It is a good season to catch your breath and look behind you for awhile.
Matthew 5:12
Get ready, but also rejoice and be glad. Everything is as it should be and we get to see it first hand.
How about a more endearing and comfortable topic from the days of olde? I'll start.
Are traps gay?
More on topic though, the 13th would be a suitable date to get the party started. The promethean crowd always saw trouble with the number 13. I asked a fellow well versed in bible verses about this and he said "12 + 1"
Thanks for the reminder - need to finish AToB.
Eight more days of waiting for "The Storm", like some hapless tribe of end-of-worlders waiting for the Second Coming.
Once chaos breaks out,

Keep in mind that the vast majority of special forces operations occur at night. I keep kind of expecting to wake up one day in a completely different country situation.
Going to chill with "Target Rich Environment" book today. May watch "Braveheart," a great reminder of treasonous elites. Could add Marcus Aurelius's wisdom to the mix.
About that "silence": in the last week, there's been truly fabulous amounts of across-the-board censorship on the 'information wants to be free' Internet. It'd be amazing if that weren't having an effect on what appears on the boards, even assuming that the boards themselves aren't being directly suppressed.
Jesus had to die on the cross. I think Trump is going to die (politically) to fully prove he is a man of peace. Sad as it sounds, others will have to fight on his name to bring america to the people and freedom back to the U.S. (and the rest of the world). This, and no other, could be the perfect plan for the posterity, all things accounted. And that means _we_ are the ones that need to sacrifice next.
All quiet on the western front...
I'm seeking Christ in prayer, and topping off a few last minute emergency supplies. Other than that, we have to wait and see what happens.
Learn your culture.
How do you guys figure out where to start? Our culture isn't exactly small potatoes. It is extensive. I keep changing directions and I think I'm giving my kids a headache.
Comments are down across the board. I've been checking all the usual places. All scarce on threads and comments. I figure it is because people are afraid of getting banned AND something is going on behind the scenes. They are already erasing "Stolen Election", "Fraud", "Dominion", those WORDS are flagged. Erasing History in real time. I have seen comments saying that if and when this goes down, 70% of The Fed will be replaced.
“Conspiracied out” is a good way to put it. If nothing else, this situation has been much better entertainment than the godless nonsense put out there by the mainstream entertainment/media industry
If nothing else, this has been much better entertainment to follow than the godless mainstream nonsense constantly put out in the ether.

Don’t forget to pray to your creator and show gratitude for all the freedoms we’ve taken for granted that are now being snatched away by the walking hypocrites.
The Demoncrats certainly aren't being quiet; they are bleating about passing a law forbidding anything from ever bearing Trump's name, even a park bench. These people are terrified of what is about to happen to them.
Brief personal testimony. I lost my Mom to pancreatic cancer a couple of years ago, and that was pretty much the last time I went to church. But I'm feeling an unusual sense of calm and direction in the midst of this lunacy we're seeing, and that says a lot as someone who's struggled with anxiety for the better part of his life. I also have the urge to pick up where I left off and re-engage my faith.
Make of that for what you will.
I was just saying the board wasn't quiet, y'know, in general. Wow:
I've figured out how Trump legally remains President four more years.
Plausible mechanism for a smooth transition to 8 more years of Trump via Pompeo.

Lord knows I'm not. Gab is only half functional during the day and it's hard to get any reliable new information.
As seen on Gab:
Friends, a couple days ago Simon Parkes in his podcast said that Mike Pompeo was going to start using his twitter as kind of a countdown, posting every hour, every half hour, every fiften minutes, every ten minutes, every five minutes, every minute, something like that. The content of his posts doesn't matter, it is the quickening of his posts that is a countdown of sorts to when stuff really starts to happen.
Well son of a bitch, look at his twitter. He is posting every fifteen minutes! I hope I can get this message through to you, watch Pompeo's twitter. When he starts posting every five minutes or so or less, you are going to see some serious shit.

Just enjoying the show
I am having a laugh at some of these guys *cough* Simon Parkes *cough* who swear they to have precise detail on what is happening, but can't tell the difference between the town of Alamo and the Alamo itself in San Antonio.

Trump may or may not get what he wants, but he's going to win, he's not stupid and if he had surrendered he would have done it with grace and much sooner. He had no reason to stir the swap the way he is.

(But no points if it's a virtue-signal movie.)
I find it interesting that President Trump is going to Alamo, Texas to give a speach on the "wall" today. Many people are hoping for him to finally let loose the storm. Is this time and place due to its symbolic name, a name that represents an apparent defeat turned into the cry for victory. Will we be saying years from now, "Remember the Alamo" for a different but equally significant reason. Oh, I hope so!

Just shotgun it. Read about some art or architecture you find interesting. Find a pre-1960s biography of historical people you admire or are curious about. Read something theological and foundational, like Augustine's City of God. That work influenced the Western understanding of the role of Church and State profoundly even into the Enlightenment era and beyond. It's also poignant for today, as he wrote it to comfort and guide his people after Rome was sacked by the Visigoths.

"A Few Good Men"
Guys, I highly reccommend you start using Google to expose certain things.
Whitehats must've SEO'd info. For example: when you type James Comey, immediately you get suggestions to James Comey's height and his signature, as well as articles highlighting how shitty he is wrt OPSEC. Presumably, they anticipate that Comey will claim his signature has been forged in some document, soon to be revealed. His height probably exists to prove that the woman standing next to him in a picture of him in Ghislaine Maxwell's house is not actually his wife but a "woman" who is almost 6'6". Yes, he seems to enjoy trannies.
Then there are clues to Michael Jackson's innocence, Amy Carter (of Jimmy Carter fame) having turned FtM, Vin Diesel and his brother Paul being the same person, Bargain Hunt in the BBC being....weird.
Seriously, use Google. Whitehats appear to have rigged it.

You are so on top of things, the Classics, good literature, education, history, etc. Would you ever consider developing or guiding the development of a home school curriculum from Kindergarten through 12 based on a pre-1900's style? As an immigrant near-teenager, I was always politically aware and interested - war has a way of increasing your awareness.
Going through American public schools I also swallowed the CivNat narrative, but even within that limited perspective, what I experienced throughout my American life as both an observer and participant - when push came to shove, my preferences and my guys ALWAYS lost. ALWAYS - to this day!

Here's the bottom line - If DaTrumpster pulls this off - it will be the FIRST TIME in my lifetime in America my guys win!
On the cultural and book-reading front, I have been reading and marveling at William Cobbett's great tome, A History of the Protestant Reformation in England and Ireland. I highly recommend you look into it if you haven't. Cobbett writes from the 1820s, but he retains that elaborate Latinate style of classically inspired English more common to the 18th century. And it's a joy to read, at least for me. Plus he's a master rhetorician -- this is stemwinding pulpit style, and done well.
He's changing my perspective, FWIW. I used to think the source for our modern ills was the French Revolution but now I'm revising that thesis. If you want to know how the money changers made their way into back into the temple so to speak, if you want to know how they took the Christian community, corrupted it, atomized it, and set it off warring against itself and meagerly impoverished the whole, you may want to look into this book.

If God's hand is moving in all of this, remember that he made Gideon reduce his forces to the point there could be no reason for victory other than God.
On a slightly different angle, I drove past my church this morning and saw this on the sign "without opposition there is no victory" .
I'm hoping all this reforms our culture...from one of licentious hedonism to one from about 1820...🙂👍

The reason Texans said Remember the Alamo and Remember Goliad is because they were horrific war crimes committed against their people by the Mexican Army. It inspired them by angering them against their enemy. If Alamo, Texas becomes another Alamo, that's not really a good thing.

God is going to teach Americans what he taught those behind the Iron Curtain: Abandon your false gods, whether they be job, money, technology, politics, and depend on Him for everything. Certainly, don't abandon reason, or making sensible plans, but people are freaking out hitting refresh on their social media drug of choice to get some news.
Spend more time praying.
There is a plan, it's God's, and it may not go the way you expect/want.
I hope not. The Battle of the Alamo was a victory for Mexico.
That culminated in the fall of Mexico City.
Meanwhile, the Marxist Left are continuing daily in showing us who they really are. They can't help themselves. They are all trying to get in the front of line.
Start with the classics. I own a complete set of Reader’s Digest Great Ideas. From Plato, Aristotle and Thomas Aquinas to the Federalist Papers to (regretfully) Marx, Darein and Freud. The early stuff is worth the investment alone.

To add to that last comment: You will have noticed that the Vox blogsite has remained rock solid thru all this. Another is Karl Deninger's market ticker. There are others. Either the deep crappers are afraid of them or have not figured out how to sabotage their sites. Or, Q and team have got their back.
Just a thought. Maybe he designates the borber wall as a national monument. That would add all sorts of protections to it.

Just because you are properly skeptical of the mainstream narrative doesn't mean you have to breathlessly and blindly accept anything that's different as gospel from alternate sources.

I've got rabbits. Pretty easy, and very quiet, of course. The worst problem I've had is the young ones can waste food something terrible at times (pawing it out of the feeder/bowl). I've had an older buck who did that too. I replaced him. I haven't figured out a good solution for that.
Since Vox brought up culture and others are discussing homeschooling, I'm curious as to how the intelligent people here (which is everyone except the trolls, obviously) view a series such as Great Books of the Western World. I have the original, 1952 edition (most of it; some got destroyed in a basement flood), and I'm debating whether to collect the missing volumes (19-38, I think, are the missing ones). I've always felt it was an important set of books, but I've learned a heck of a lot over the past couple of years through lurking here and elsewhere, and I'm starting to reconsider some of those assumptions. Some of them are available through Castalia, of course, so I'm going to go out on a limb and say those are good.
I've also got PDFs of the Early Church Fathers and Burton's Arabian Nights, the full 16-volume version. I'd love to get hard copies, but the budget is tight right now, and printing them off at work would take up a lot of toner and paper.

True but he did see the crash starting in mid 2007.

Yes, he wrote that. I haven't read it, but maybe I'll put it on my list.
@21 CM
Learn your culture.
How do you guys figure out where to start?
Depending on their ages, I'd start with children's Bible stories & Aesop's fables.
@ Duke:
I've got about 6 hutches in the old coop; I inherited them in a trade.
As for food wastage- is there some sort of pellet feeder?
I've not looked into it, yet.
Thanks for the tips.
Thank you Dan in Georgia. FYI, I entered it in duckduckgo.com from Chrome and got info ABOUT the site. In Brave it took me directly to the emergency page, which I have bookmarked.
Interesting message posted as images on pol. I don't know where they came from or when the post was first made. (Apologies if this isn't new to anybody).

@145, Cottage Economy talked about the evils brought upon the common people by the Enclosure Acts, by the tax upon malting, and by the popularity of tea, among other things. He gives the cottager instructions on how to make beer, how to feed a pig or a cow, and how to run a tiny freehold in the climate of southern England.
I thought it was a good read. It was valuable for history, but the climate is so different from my subarctic homestead that the agricultural advice was useless to me.
For being quiet, something is up:
(1) FBI looking into reports of planned armed gathering/March this weekend in DC. Why? With 10,000 reported lethally armed NG troops plus a quick reaction force, what are they worried so much about?
(2) Based on another comment (someone who boss worked in DC said on call he saw the three presidential helps). Checked google - nothing. Ok, went to Voice of America to see, and yes they had story about POTUS travel this morning to TX for a speech. HOWEVER/ - the picture caption said “ president makes comments about impeachment attempt before leaving for Texas with date listed as today’s date of 1/12/21. Yet the picture shows a sunny day while actual weather the entire morning in DC today was cloudy. An obvious file photo then...in fact had any MSM press reported actually seeing the president since last Wednesday? Same for Pence / anyone actually seen him since the same day??
No, things still are not adding up - something is amiss or up. Next few days will be interesting.
CSPAN cut him off in the middle of the speach...
Matthew 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Pray. Ask Jesus Christ to be your saviour. Invite him into your life because you need Him. Humble yourself and seek him.

You could place the rabbit cage above an area chickens could reach. That way anything that falls through gets eaten quick by the birds.
Blackpilling was intense yesterday even of Citizen's Free Press. It's also quite obvious the enemy is laughing at us. May their chortling turn to anguish and lamentation.
What are you saying with your words, Mr. Schwarz?

@132 "Hal Turners site said 50k Chinese soldiers died on the border near Maine a few weeks ago. C'mon man."
Come on, man, indeed. Try to imagine how many CORPSES 50K is -- and yeah, even IF the Chinese are tiny-ish -- did the Canadians just leave them there to rot? Did every vulture in Canada have to fly in for the winter feast? Or did the Canadians have to herd a couple hundred-thousand hogs cross-country to clean up the mess? They sure as hell don't have enough trucks in all of Canada to deal with the mess.
Do just the barest MINIMUM of thought and you'll see it's crap from top to bottom! And no dead bodies!
@140 " young ones can waste food something terrible at times (pawing it out of the feeder/bowl)"
"Bowl" under bowl? Like, a 'base/basin' that is large enough with a low-enough edge that the bunnies can climb in to where the food bowl is, but when they pull the food out, instead of falling through the cage floor, it falls into the bigger 'bowl' and they can keep eating it there too? Hafta kinda wash it more often.... but it would keep most of the food up off the ground?
Any y'all seen this?
WTH!?!?! Nancy Pelosi just appointed someone (I've never heard of) temporary Speaker of the House?!?!?!

Deborah Ann Dingell (née Insley; November 23, 1953) is a Democratic Party politician who has been the U.S. Representative for Michigan's 12th congressional district since 2015. She is the widow of John Dingell
{She born in WA, related to horror Jay Insley? Don't know, don't care, didn't look.)

Yeah, really quiet today. True, a lot of updates have been slow to nonexistent. Even ole Neon’s
feed on Gab been static all day.
Yet:
(1) Reports of continuous troop movements inside USA
(2) Cant confirm this, but someone said Italian and Yougoslav military planes flying in USA Today. I can confirm lots of military plane traffic today.
(3) POTUS makes a speech to recognize law enforcement at the border, and the comments over there at the thread have extreme pearl clutching and bow tie spinning. Oh and same speech is down played across all MSN when before they would always tear it apart beard he even finished.
(4) The Congress critters still foaming at the mouth as if POTUS is still the most dangerous man in the universe when the man they, the uniparty bought and paid for and will save the entire planet , I as allegedly suppose to installed with 8 days. I have yet to follow the logic of this - the stated excuse of “so he will not run in 2024’ is hollow, ad there are billion and one things between now snd then they could do to make it very hard to impossible to run.
Yeah, real slow news day.
One last thought (ok, two): Neatly all of Iran went dark this evening, major blackout over nearly entire country Plus hair lady speaker of house did not show up to work today, no reason given - handed off her school speaker power temporarily to another representative today.
So, yes, I quite agree - a very slow news day.
Christina Trevanion wasn't always a woman, apparently.

Yeah, but my experience was that they did it worse with those than with a bowl.

My experience is that they don't have any real interest in rabbit pellets.
