The Superintelligence is on the radio. Normally it would be the clanging static of the Matrix as you listen on a telephone, but he is mimicing human voice.
Since the music they had playing sounded like some kind of Mariachi derivative when I tuned in, I'm guessing the subject of politics and immigration is going to come up.
Schedule says Brian Greenberg Show. Here's his bio from the station website:
What do Joe Gannascoli (‘Vito’ on the Sopranos), Bill Gross, Mark Fuhrman, General Al Haig, Alan Dershowitz, Art Garfunkel, former President Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers, Issac Hayes, political analyst Dick Morris, Ray Manzarek of the Doors and actress Tovah Feldshuh have in common?
They have all appeared on the nationally reknown program, The “Greenberg News Show” founded by Brian C. Greenberg brings a new refreshing and cutting approach to talk radio attracting personalities from all fields both nationally and locally. Tune in every Thursday at 5pm and you’ll never know who will pop in or what topics will be explored.
ABOUT BRIAN: Mild mannered CPA by day, Brian runs a full service accounting firm. Seeking to explore the left side of his brain, he has successfully ventured into talk radio for the past 16 years doing his nationally reknown “Greenberg News Show”.
In addition to his radio show, Brian also has appeared on CNBC’s Wall Street Journal Report, BloombergTV News, Forbes TV.com, NBC, CBS, Comcast’s “It’s Your Call” and also has been interviewed Readers’ Digest, NY Times, LA Times and Chicago Tribune
I suspect the topic will not be Mariachi music, but bonus points to Vox if he can work a reference to Mariachi music into the interview.
Saw a guy years ago, came into the station wasn't about to let anyone put make up on him. So he goes into the dressing room and comes out having used the "cocoa brown" with his red hair and lily-white skin.
The whole place was rolling in laughter and he was like "What?!"
Why is that? This kind of intrigues me given your level of self-confidence.
Because I'm not anywhere near any US-affiliated news studios. It would be a major pain in the posterior for me to do so. I am not sufficiently interested.
Well, that was discouraging; the feed dropped out and firefox would not find the Vox server. Had to recycle the whole thing. Something about Firefox and Real player I guess. Had happened before. Lost 4 min. of it.
Vox is responding now and trying to offer some idea of how to protect yourself from the likes of MS Global. I would love to know, in broad, general terms of course, what Vox has done to protect his resources. He mentioned land, other physical assets with the hope that the PTB won't be able to steal it as easily or under the radar, as it were.
Ok I plead ignorance-how is it that there are no commercials?
I suspect, from the sites home page where they are asking for show hosts, that this station is struggling to get bigger and ain't there yet. So not so many solid advertisers.
Alright! I'm catching the tail end of the conversation.
Yep, we were all crazy to think about a pre-collapse, or collapse. We were all wrong about the mortgage, edu-debt disaster, unemployment, bailouts. Haha.
We know what austerity, disorder and corruption is and one has to roll with it and simply be aware of/interpret the times properly.
Rom WILL make the situation worse, it is all he can do b/c he isn't right for the gig. Once again, we are given awful choices.
Yuck on TV and the awful camera make-up for men. Dudes today are too darn pretty these days...
Not tolerating dissent is scary. Rom didn't mind the TSA at both the RNC/DNC sh-t shows. Going golfing is just fine, throw parties, leave the country for vacays - do the least HELLISH damage possible. The next administration will do too much in post american times.
And for those who believe that a president can get you a job, success and freedom is in self employment, its in your hands. However, the easy koolaid of Clinton's "we are all in this together", gives false hope. Clinton and ilk aren't in anything with Americans...
OK: the host has now fallen into the 'you know' thing. Vox may have some sort of hypnotic effect on the this host. Maybe he can tackle move on.org and that ilk and turn them to the dark side.
It's kind of interesting to comment on all this as it happens, you know....
I think because power is relative, not absolute. Their absolute wealth may be lower, but they become, in effect, gods. A decadent meal is much more enjoyable when others are eating rats, bugs and worms.
I'm done, no more comments but sadly America is becoming uninhabitable under such oppression. Perhaps post collapse things would be better as that process rolls on.
That was interesting. I know, in general range, what Vox's age is; he sounds so young on the air. It was worth listening to. Thanks to Vox for the heads up. I would like to download the mp4 if available. Maybe someone could post the link once its ready.
Really enjoyed the interview. I think the next 10-20 years are going to be a very interesting time to be in the church. We already have between 10-30 people coming in every week needing assistance with rent, propane, mortgage, food, etc. Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows it will get worse. I thank God I live in a small community - I can't believe the carnage in large cities when basic social services have to shut down - including entire school systems. I think they closed around 50% of Detroit's schools, making some class sizes around 60.
Well done, especially for being so late. He was a decent host too. I wish he would have let you complete your thoughts; some thoughts just don't fit in a 30 second window.
Since your other blog, and sometimes here, you discuss Game (or as it used to be called-acting like a man), maybe you can dissect alpha/beta voices. Your writing is excellent, your wit is sharp, and you speak well, but your voice makes you sound like half a fag. Maybe its the phone line audio. You just sound soft and weak with a tinge of whine in your voice. It doesnt mesh with your internet persona.
No criticism; its just not that often you get to poke some innocent fun at an internet Superintelligence.
And, I don't know, whomever they were up the comment ladder, but I did not find your voice soft/weak and whinny. Young sounding, yes, no whine. I suspect those that accuse you of such would be the ones whinnying in a personal encounter in the ring or on the street. The size of your arms alone would keep me quiet!
I was busy at work, but caught a little on the internet. I disagree that the Dollar currency will survive if I heard you right. But like I said I was busy.
How about Vox on the Joe Rogan Experience? I'd like him to explain everything from the Alpha Game to Zionism with a couple of guys trippin' on shroom tea.
For the the record, VD sounds like Ferris Bueller. I admit I had assumed a mix between Eastwood and The Rock, but that was purely going off the flaming sword photo. As a fan, we would appreciate if you flipped out at least once during an interview and added a "Big ups to my peeps, the Dread Ilk Yo!" For sure you make Fox and Friends after that. Your writing personality is not the same as your in person personality. Unleash the beast!

When I was 30 pounds lighter and had floppy hair, I used to look like him too.

I'm always polite to the radio host. It's his house, not mine, and I am a guest there. As it happens, this last guy not only blew off his other guests - it was only supposed to be half an hour - but asked me to come back on a regular basis. I'm considering it.

I was a guest on the station yesterday, on the Baer Haggerty show. Good guys.
Can someone put up a link to the .mp3 later?
Vox, how many media requests do you typically get in a month?
Schedule says Brian Greenberg Show.
Dang. I was hoping to hear Vox get into a verbal tussle with members from the NCLR. Hey, it could still happen.
Vox, how many media requests do you typically get in a month?
Not many these days. Three or four. Often the time doesn't suit and I don't do TV, so I just decline those.
So no spike after the "Obama is bad" column?
I guess we're safe from a reengineered black death virus.
VD said: "...I don't do TV, so I just decline those."

Here's the MP3 link, Astrosmith.
Would you want make-up on your face? (I'm assuming you're a guy)

Please give a shout out to me.
Crap. You don't give much notice, I'm talking LIVE!
You can't even catch a decent White Perch with a dead minnow.
listening....need a shout out for nice leather Italian shoes and ww II jap fleet strength and lesbian dorito night.
Is this the ACDC channel?
Listening and Vox sounds pretty good on the link above. Usually these things you can't really understand the audio. This is a refreshing change....
So far the questions are reasonable if basic. It was an interesting tidbit about what happened when Italy went euro.
I think Vox should just finish the sentence, even if he is getting bored while saying it.

Too many 'you knows' from Vox. You know its almost impossible to not do it sometimes but it seems like a waste of words; somehow.

Well, it's wonderful for Vox not to be interrupted every 5 minutes.
Well this has been depressing.

I wish V could get on with coast to coast or LRC's podcast.
"Why do you want to bring it to an end?"
I think because power is relative, not absolute. Their absolute wealth may be lower, but they become, in effect, gods. A decadent meal is much more enjoyable when others are eating rats, bugs and worms.
Also, they will have much easier access to sex slaves, especially young children.

Great interview Vox, thanks for sharing.
I'm at work, couldn't hardly listen. Anyone know if there will be an accessible archive?

My friend, I think you nailed it there. Its scary, isn't it. Lord, its time to drop back in. We are leaving the light on for you....
Excellent back and forth discussion and the interviewer allowed you to complete your thoughts without too much interruption.
Thanks Vox. Would love an mp3 download if it becomes available.
i got to hear about 15 minutes (towards the end) and it was very good. thanks for the tip, would love to hear on mp3
Too many 'you knows' from Vox. You know its almost impossible to not do it sometimes but it seems like a waste of words; somehow.
I'm usually much better about that, but it's after midnight and I'm tired. Also, I was expecting 30 mins, not a whole hour.
Very interesting interview. Did anyone record it?

Cocaine, heroine and LSD may be fun, but they just don't have certain benefits that whiskey and vodka do...

Fine interview, there was nothing wrong with his voice.
I couldn't tune in, because the computer lives upstairs and the housework was downstairs. Expected as much, though.
Is there a recording of it somewhere about? I would want to listen while I feed babies and rest from chasing toddlers.
