The Saxon stirs

You know what they say: Vote UKIP, get UKIP. This by-election result is huge, because it is presenting the English with a genuine and popular alternative to the single pro-European party and its three factions, Tory, Labour, and Liberal Democrat.

As last night's executive action showed, what Americans need is a genuine American Independence Party.

I think continentals are more dangerous, but Islanders have more to be angry about.

2. When does Cameron walk the plank?

The UK dwells in the shadow of the UN, a vast spectre* looming just across the channel. The UKIP are able to define themselves in opposition to that. What would an AIP define itself against? Immigrants?

No idea. Great news about UKIP though. The Conservative and Labour and Liberal parties are run by people who no longer bother to hide their contempt for the English.

What America needs is a genuine American Independence Party.

Partly true, imo. There's a complex interplay between leadership and populace, just as there is between culture and genealogy.

Thing is, there's always been tyrants and wannabe tyrants. What holds those types of scum in check is the shared moral restraint of the general populace. That's the ONLY thing that can hold such people in check.

So, if there were enough Americans who would support a genuine American Independence Party, there'd BE a genuine American Independence Party.

But there isn't (enough such Americans).

Not any more.

But you might appreciate, for a number of reasons, this quote from one of my favourite authors:

"The greatest want of the world is the want of men—men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall."

One of the first things an AIP would have to realize is that Washington DC is a colonial power over the former fifty states: up until 1878, it was Washington city, not Washington DC; the city was turned into a sovereign city not governed by the constitution or the same system of laws as the rest of the nation.

Poor LibDem, how their feelings must be hurt. I wonder if Charlie Stross is still plumping for them? If so I have a feeling he's pretty glum after this.

What freedom in the geographical construct known as the US needs is for people to give up on THE united states, and concentrate on freedom. If groups of people want to construct their socialist utopia, go for it. But count me out and I sure as hell won't pay for it.

This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England,
This nurse, this teeming womb of royal kings,
Fear'd by their breed and famous by their birth,
Renowned for their deeds as far from home,
For Christian service and true chivalry,
As is the sepulchre in stubborn Jewry,
Of the world's ransom, blessed Mary's Son,
This land of such dear souls, this dear dear land,
Dear for her reputation through the world,

Is now leased out, I die pronouncing it,
Like to a tenement or pelting farm:
England, bound in with the triumphant sea
Whose rocky shore beats back the envious siege
Of watery Neptune, is now bound in with shame,
With inky blots and rotten parchment bonds:
That England, that was wont to conquer others,
Hath made a shameful conquest of itself.
Ah, would the scandal vanish with my life,
How happy then were my ensuing death!

It is my understanding about the Saxon-thingie that it's not so much more about being more dangerous, but that the moment when he switches from being super nice to you, to putting up the machinery of genocide, is much quicker and comes with much less warning than your average ethnicity.

Are "Saxons" any more dangerous than other European people?

It's from a Kipling poem.

THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON
by Rudyard Kipling

It was not part of their blood,
It came to them very late,
With long arrears to make good,
When the Saxon began to hate.

They were not easily moved,
They were icy -- willing to wait
Till every count should be proved,
Ere the Saxon began to hate.

Their voices were even and low.
Their eyes were level and straight.
There was neither sign nor show
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not preached to the crowd.
It was not taught by the state.
No man spoke it aloud
When the Saxon began to hate.

It was not suddently bred.
It will not swiftly abate.
Through the chilled years ahead,
When Time shall count from the date
That the Saxon began to hate.

So what exactly is the big deal here? As far as I can tell, all this move does is grant a measure of legitimacy to the status quo. Some 3-5 million people get a legal 3 year stay, but 95%+ of them were never going to be deported in the first place (we don't have the resources for deportation on a mass scale). I guess it's nice for those affected who need not no longer be afraid of being the unlucky few who do get deported, but on the other hand, they have to pay back taxes, they get nothing from the federal government in benefits and there's no guarantee whatsoever that the next president will not undo this. Does anything actually change here?

One problem with the Tea Party is that people are impatient. It had a good run in 2010, but people nowadays repeatedly say it's over and done with. Not so.

Instead, what we have is the Tea Partiers entering the GOP rather than starting a third party. The reason they do that is simple: the USA's winner-take-all electoral system pretty much forces a two-party system by default. Tea Partiers, or potential AIP'ers, are therefore forced to run twice: first in GOP primaries against Establishment GOP candidates, then in the general election against the Democrat.

The good news is that plenty of Establishment GOP politicians have been "primaried" by Tea Partiers over the past few years, and continue to be. John McCain had to pay through the nose in his last GOP primary. So the strategy works, but again, people are too impatient.

Yeah, Zero pretty much said that he wouldn't deport certain illegal aliens, but it's something that the next president isn't bound to.

Unfortunately, the U.S. president will be pro-amnesty no matter which party he belongs to. George W. Bush kept pushing amnesty. His daddy signed into law an immigration increase in 1990, and Reagan, of course, signed off on the 1986 Amnesty.

If our standard of living continues to decline into the toilet, I fully expect a large-scale Bosnian War to happen.

we don't have the resources for deportation on a mass scale

Disingenuous at best.

Deportation is secondary to the issue of what's attracting them in the first place. Remove that, and self-deportation via the same method they got here will take place on its own. Make the environment as uncomfortable as possible instead of as welcoming as possible.

Analogy is suspect, but imagine that you leave a loaf of bread covered with sugar and a side dish of peanut butter on your kitchen floor at night, then leave many holes in the walls of your house. Of course you wouldn't be able to afford enough traps and bug spray to get rid of the ensuing infestation, but remove the bait, caulk the baseboards and you'll have a lot easier time dealing with any stragglers that didn't take the hint.

Invaders are drawn here by work, sure, but they're also drawn by the more advanced degree of civilization here vis-a-vis Mexico and S. America, not to mention the free bennies we're stupid enough to extend.

As has no doubt been covered here before, illegals offer advantages to both wings of the elite vulture. The commies get an endless supply of gullible voters who are happy with the scraps that fall from the adult table (just like in countries points south) and are smart enough to do scut work without making waves, replacing the European-derived stock that has (had?) all sorts of annoying notions about rights and responsibilities necessary to make a first world civilization work. The crony-capitalists get cheap labor, again happy with whatever scraps tossed their way and they can privatize profits and socialize costs.

In the broad strokes, the "plan" seems to be to retain a few whites and asian types to keep the lights on but replace the majority of them with the gullible mestizos with the aforementioned advantages. Have one political party do an Oscar-winning acting job pretending to fight the above, while not-so-secretly undermining any attempt to change course, which keeps the gringos busy running in unproductive circles and bickering while the invasion continues unabated and makes replacement a fait accompli. You keep the few remaining crackers in line with rigidly-enforced PC orthodoxy in which a stray word/badthink can lead to unemployment and feeding the family by struggling for scraps at the dump with rats. Meanwhile, practice a fierce ethnocentrism among your own tribe, natch.

Now, maybe the above is the black-helicopter flight of fancy brought on by a too-tight Reynolds Wrap chapeau, but ask yourself, if one were to desire such an outcome, would you go about it any differently than what has so far occurred?

Blogger Salt November 21, 2014 1:01 PM

I imagine a bloodied man, like Stephan, who like Christ refuses to renounce God and taking that determination to an early grave. And Paul, preaching fearlessly, and so many others who refuse to bow to the common wisdom, yet neither picking up their own gun to force others to obey God.

What did Hoover, Truman, and Eisenhower have in common? Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens; Truman deported over two million Illegals after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans; then Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals.

Josh posted Kipling's poem: THE WRATH OF THE AWAKENED SAXON

My son is married to a Norwegian girl. As we both live in Florida, a lot of Norwegian relatives and friends come to visit, especially in the winter.

There is a huge disconnect between the "boomers" and the younger folk in their 20's and 30's, as regards immigration into Norway. The boomers are all "Kumbya, lets let in all the third worlders we can", while the younger people's opinion of third world immigrants is unprintable. Kipling's poem made flesh if you just substitute Viking for Saxon.

I would not want to be a Nigerian or Pakistani "New Norwegian" when the boomers die off, and the next generation gets it's hands on the levers of power.

Someone once stated that, in a hundred years, either Norway would be an Islamic republic or there would be statues of Anders Breivik in every Norwegian town. When I say this to Norski boomers they get very upset. When I say it to the X'ers and beyond, they nod and agree with me.

@rienzi,

that is very good news.

'The time comes in the life of any nation when there remain only two choices – submit or fight. That time has now come to South Africa. We shall not submit and we have no choice but to hit back by all means in our power in defence of our people, our future, and our freedom.'

Manifesto of Umkhonto, 16 December 1961

Johnny 5, another sign of the disconnect is WhiteVanGate / Emily Thornberry's resignation yesterday. Google either, it's all over the news here (UK). Posh cnut Labour MP tweeted, 'look at the proles'. She had to go as she provided proof that the party of the workers doesn't even like them.

There's a quick post on my blog. But the story is everywhere.

"The Confederacy was a legitimate sovereign nation..."

No one but them thought so at the time. You basically had a bunch of RIBs (Rednecks in Rebellion) who couldn't get anyone to recognize their existence besides a few foreigners who told them, "hey, good luck with that rebellion of yours....call us when you have a fighting chance of preserving your SlaveHaven."

"... can we just set up an auto ban on anyone that uses the word sovereign in a comment?" - Nate

My comment was a bit of an experiment in Nate baiting, just to see how far he felt the principle applied.

He didn't call it out. An inconclusive conclusion inherent in the nature of the experiment, but there it is.

In 6 months, you guys would be shitting all over it for not being "pure" enough.

Who are "you guys"?

By "you guys" he means folks like him who don't understand the difference between "say" and "do" so he's confused why we don't line up behind people who say the right things and do something totally different.

BTW Nate, Libertarians certainly aren't the only ones who don't know the difference between "say" and "do" but they sure do take it to another level.

Scuzza:

"we've know for a lot longer than back to Smedley Darlington Butler that war is a racket"

War is _sometimes_ a racket. If, however, you are Vercingetorix and Caesar's racket is to enslave your people, then your war is _not_ a racket. If you are Fabius and Hannibal ad portas, then, even though the war may have begin with a no-belligerant racket - the seizure of Sardina, say - it is not a racket for you to fight in defense or to eliminate an existential threat. If you are Poland and 3rd Panzer Division is crossing the border, it would take some straining to see how fighting in your own defense is a racket.

In short, to say "war is a racket" is tantamount to saying lethal force in self defense is morally indistinguishable from entering a house, killing the occupants, and robbing it.

"The Confederacy was a legitimate sovereign nation."

Might have been. If so, then the also legitimately sovereign United States was perfectly within its rights to attack, subjugate, and destroy it, and even sell the population as slaves.

As I have already stated myself, at least so long as the proper forms were followed. It seems a rather obvious point to me.

Yeah, but I sort of enjoy twisting the knife.

JCclimber, "And thereby we will get the Beast with 2 horns speaking "like a dragon"."

You don't even know what you're talking about.

"Christ will establish His kingdom without the hands of mankind. But you all go right ahead and use Satan's method of enforcing your interpretation by the edge of the sword. See how that works out for you in eternity."

There is such a thing as a Just War. What makes you think Jesus is opposed to justice? Do you think He wants for those in power to act with impunity to corrupt, impoverish and destroy? These people are making the majority subservient to a minority of secular-humanists, perverts and third-world immigrants. In what way is this democratic, let alone Christian?

I'm not suggesting that we all take up the sword and go on a killing spree, no. What I'm saying is that the people need to throw these Zio-Marxists out of power and put safeguards in place to prevent them from attaining such authority again.
