A request for substantiation
This morning I sent summaries of the ongoing cyberstalking and online harassment committed by Yamamanama aka inimbe karu ava, Alauda, alauda, Luscinia Hâfez, Luscinia, Clamps, Ciconia, Arachnothera, daphnis, Count Bullets-ula, Beardsley McTurbanhead, Freddy Foreshadowing, Comrade Questions, comrade questions, Dan Picaro, Andthestarshine, Kasa the Wicked, Nikola, Chokley Carmichael, Clamps, Daphis, Daphnis, Starshine, Sunlight, Will, Will leFey, Yama, Yama the Space Fish, Lilacanddatura, Phoenixwing667, Darkprophet667 to the Marshfield police department and the New England Wildlife Center.
A selection from the summary of my experience being harassed and cyberstalked:
If you have been cyberstalked or harassed by Yama et al on your own site, please send me a list of the comments he has left there and the dates he has been active on your blog. If he has left too many comments to easily copy and paste them into a text document, you can export your blog to XML and we can utilize our data-mining tool to extract all of his comments in one fell swoop.
Please note that all summaries may be sent to the appropriate authorities in order to substantiate the assertions made in the summary.
A selection from the summary of my experience being harassed and cyberstalked:
Aside from the realization that the cyberstalker did not appear to be entirely mentally stable, this incident also caused me to learn that the cyberstalker “Will leFey” was “Yama the Spacefish” on DeviantArt and “Yamamanama” on Live Journal as well as “@pure, impure” on Twitter. I also learned that the cyberstalker lived in Marshfield, Massachusetts and is a longtime volunteer at the New England Wildlife Center. And I learned that I am far from the first person he has subjected to this persistent online harassment. If you have witnessed any of this online harassment by the cyberstalker who utilizes these identities, I would appreciate it if you would write a brief summary of what you have witnessed, and the period over which you have witnessed it, here in the comments. If you would prefer to do so privately, please email me with "CYBERSTALKER" in the subject. You don't need to use your real name, but do mention your state, or if you're outside the USA, your country.

Since that time, Will/Yama/etc has intensified his cyberstalking and willfully and maliciously engaged in conduct that seriously alarms or annoys me, left hundreds of comments that would cause a reasonable person to suffer substantial emotional distress, and has made threats with the intent to place me in fear of bodily injury for me, my wife, and my children. A few of the more recent threats include:
These are only a few of the many threats he has made to me and others in the course of his long campaign of online harassment. Note that Lord Yama, the cyberstalker's primary identity, is the Hindu god of death.
- “Vox Day and his idiot followers need to know how much of an untalented waste of carbon he is.”
- “The only award Vox Day should be nominated for is "the worst fucking person in existence award."”
- “Vox is a mentally unstable stalker.”
- “Vox should be castrated.”
- “You pompous stuck-up snot-nosed expatriate giant twerp scumbag fuckface dickhead asshole.”
- “I want his heart rate to increase to the point where it can't pump blood anymore.”
- “May a thousand kraits bite you. May a crane rip out your tongue. May skylarks remove your eyes.”
- “May Lord Yama visit you soon, Vox.”
It is my understanding that the erratic behavior of this observably disturbed individual falls well under the scope of Massachusetts law, specifically M.G.L. c. 265, s. 43, and it is my opinion that he presents a clear and present threat to the individuals he is harassing online as well as to the local community of Marshfield.

I bet it doesn't feel very good to be Andrew this morning.
Does it ever feel good to be Andrew?
If Andrew feels bad now, things may get a whole lot worse. Assuming the Mass. PD actually takes action against him.
"Does it ever feel good to be Andrew?"
Sure, when he's with his animal friends.
I hope this guy reaps the full consequences of his protracted stalking campaign. Everyone loses when pathology is digitized.

'Sure, when he's with his animal friends."
Yama would be here to defend himself... but... apparently he's feelin' a little horse.
Sure, when he's with his animal friends.
Not so sure about how his animal friends feel though.
This transcends Black Knighting. Vox is now a lvl 99 Black Paladin.
I'd say lvl 23 Blackguard, but... that's still "epic."
Assuming the Mass. PD actually takes action against him.
Perhaps they will, perhaps they won't. If they don't, then we will know what actions can be legally directed against individuals in that state. As will the media.

Might write it up later, but I'll point out just the basic fact that since he uses the fake identities of several of our regular commenters - and has actually faked mine in a way that looks exactly like me (written my Google+ profile link in the URL-field which produces the same effect as being signed in), then this complicates moderation of this forum tremendously. When banning someone, one can never be quite sure it was really them, and not Andrew.
Also the defacement of the QM wiki, which was a direct attack on our business and not just what could be argued to be pastime.
Andrew could use lessons from a horse.
When it comes to cyberstalking, just say neigh.
Andrew is probably currently packing his bags and attempting to flee the state.
"Andrew is probably currently packing his bags and attempting to flee the state."
unlikely. Remember he's a rabbit.
Leaving the state would be something akin to admitting that the threat is real... facing the pain. He can't do that.
what is more likely is that he'll pretend none of this is happening and just avoid all online activity and real life activity that could in any way relate to this.
May I have your e-mail. I am afraid I cannot get it from the link on your home page

This Yama guy doesn't sound like anybody I'd want to have a beer with, but is this really a compilation of his most threatening messages? Because I only see one thing here that can be construed as a threat, and even there you sorta have to squint a little.
Andrew is probably currently packing his bags and attempting to flee the state.
Based on his past record, he'll try to delete things and claim I'm mischaracterizing them. Of course, part of why I've been so patient about this was that it took a while to get all the screencaps from the sites he controls.
(Not that I'd want him anywhere near MY blog.)
Hi Andrew!
Please write it up like you did the sfwa stuff. That one was serious fun to read. And so logical.
Don't know if this helps, but a few months ago I clicked a link in a comment here which was ostensibly on topic but instead led to a neon animation of people having sex. I was very surprised and troubled that one of the posters here would link to that. Looking back I bet it was a troll, though I can't recall the name. It was about the time vox made a post about the fellow who insists spacebunny is fake. I'm in WA.
The physical threat from Andrew seems exceptionally low in my eyes, but the other threat actually at this very moment realizes monetarily. Since we know from his own words that he is willing to post child porn when he wants to hurt someone, and we also know from past experience that he is willing to deface sites related to our actual business, then there is no doubt that he would put child porn on our company website if he found out how. So, I've had to do many working hours keeping it secure, and have to check for updates daily.
Normally the site wouldn't require that much security effort because PayPal handles all the financial information and there is nothing particularly interesting on the site. If it gets hacked, the hackers get free ebooks. Ho hum. But this particular threat is pretty extreme. I don't know if WE might end up liable for it.
I think Andrew will believe himself untraceable, that his antics are but harmless, and that this is all a work of fiction. To put it succinctly, he'll be saying "Yeah! Right! Where's the beef?"
That listing is mostly insults...don't see any death threats...just wishiing bad things happen to you...not sure if that's the same as "going to do" something to you. I mean I hope you rid the blog of this pest once and for all but I just don't see the cops responding. Hope I'm wrong.
That listing is mostly insults...don't see any death threats...just wishiing bad things happen to you...not sure if that's the same as "going to do" something to you.
You clearly don't understand the basis of the law. Harassment includes death threats, but is not limited to them.
You should strongly consider including the FBI and ICE with respect to the allegations of him disseminating child pornography. I don't know if ICE still handles that, but the old Customs service was one of the two federal agencies that dealt with dissemination of child pornography. I would imagine that the feds might be particularly keen to take a scalp on this one since there is a strong cyber-bullying angle which is still a somewhat novel case for them.
Andrew, you should flee the country and go join ISIS while you still have a chance. It is your only hope.
VD January 06, 2015 10:17 AM
You clearly don't understand the basis of the law. Harassment includes death threats
the problem lies here:
These are only a few of the many threats he has made to me and others ...
if the listed examples are the best you've got ... that seems kind of weak sauce. the CP posting omission being particularly egregious.
of course, it wouldn't be like Vox at all to keep some of the juiciest stuff off of the public discussion ... :3
The list was threats to Vox in particular, which the CP post was not.
Looks like he's about to get a visit from Kartikeya...

irrelevant to whether or not my last sentence is applicable.
Anyone know where does this 'volunteer' gets his subsistence?
Hmmm. I am curious how the European courts would react to an American threatening and harassing a European business.
the CP posting omission being particularly egregious.
That was all well before Yama showed up here. It's not part of my summary. But my summary is not the only one that was sent to him; I have the relevant screencaps concerning Yama's confessions and statements about it.
I don't know what the police will do. I don't know what the media will do. I don't know what the people at the wildlife center will do. I can only control my own actions and I know that if I do nothing, they will do nothing. Now, the onus is on them.
I am guessing you found these already, but posting them here just in case:

hush.
every good AH has electrolytes.
I have personally seen people here posting under my name for trolling purposes. How can anyone be sure Yama's comments are actually his? And like someone said, these are really weak examples. The average 4chan comment about the likes of Zoe Quinn is way scarier that anything he may have written.
I have personally seen people here posting under my name for trolling purposes. How can anyone be sure Yama's comments are actually his?
1. What he says. 2. IP address.
And like someone said, these are really weak examples.
Send hundreds of similar statements to the White House and see what happens. That's like the stalker saying "I didn't do nothing, I was just standing there outside her window every single night for the last 52 months."
"Electrolytes, they're what the body needs."
Laz, I thought they were what plants crave.
Given the comments on this thread I must wonder again if some of the Ilk never do much of anything of consequence as apparently nothing is ever good enough and most everything is doomed to failure.
Some night, maybe not this week or next month or this year, he will be leaving the wildlife center and be confronted with his destiny. Animals have feelings too!!
WHO HAS TWO THUMBS AND LIKES THIS ATTENTION???

What's remarkable is how the idiots go on and on and on about how evil Vox is, and how if he had his own way he would kill them all and drink the blood of non-white babies and resurrect Hitler...
Are suddenly shocked when he actually hits back.
I, like Jartstar, am a little surprised (not by Gara, granted) at the pessimism here. Any Ilk who have been around know what a vitriolic troll Yama is, and how long he's been hanging around across the net. It's ridiculous to moan that the above post's references are exhaustive or the most outrageous.
Do we not have some idea of how our host operates? Do we not remember the SFWA?
Enjoy the crescendo, ladies and gentlemen. The finale's a lot less fun if we jump straight to it.
I think Yama/Clamps might also be a persistent troll at the political blog Ace of Spades HQ. The M.O. is remarkably similar. You might want to check with the blog owner about "Raykon" the troll. He'll know who you mean.
If it is, then the amount of bad feeling and political anger on the national scale that one maladjusted person can create is truly awe-inspiring. Truly a member of William Burroughs's Nova Mob . . .
Would assume his Youtube comments are already on the radar.
"Laz, I thought they were what plants crave."
That too. lol
Too bad he doesn`t live in my state. I`d say, ``Just tell me where he lives and fugitabootit``. You would be amazed what a couple of crackheads will do for a $100.00.
Note that Lord Yama, the cyberstalker's primary identity, is the Hindu god of death.
It's also the Russian word for "pit" or "hole".
For someone who fancies himself such a big, tough man, you seem unduly bothered by insults that, except for one, don't begin to rise to the level of threats — however many times you repeat the word.
Mr. Also Unimpressed:
You wrote in part: "you seem unduly bothered by insults"
Two points if I may:
1. The alleged insults, repeated anonymously relentlessly in different forums over a period of years, may in fact rise not only to the legal definition of harassment; but could be taken as a deliberate assault on Mr. VD's good name and reputation.
2. The Attorney General of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts appears to disagree with you regarding the seriousness of ceber harassment.:

a careful reading will reveal that i, for one, never said any such thing.
Gara, iirc, normally just comes here to snipe. most of the rest of the "waaah, you're such a whiner" responses are from anons.
the regulars? we're going long popcorn.
You might want to check with the guys over at 'Moonbattery'. There used to be a troll there who enjoyed kiddie porn. Reminded me of old Andy but I can't remember his name.
Mr. Also Unimpressed:
One more moment of your time please. In your post in question you appear to be attacking Mr. VD's moral courage. Am I right?
Yet you posted without using your real name; which strikes me as not terribly brave.
Does this not appear to you to be hypocritical?

Too bad he doesn`t live in my state. I`d say, ``Just tell me where he lives and fugitabootit``. You would be amazed what a couple of crackheads will do for a $100.00.
Funny that this is probably closer to a concrete threat than anything Yama has posted, yet nobody is running to contact the police about it.
yeah, that's the Gara we all know and love.
Mr. Gara
You posted in part: "Funny that this is probably closer to a concrete threat"
I shuddered when I read the post in question; but as the poster and alleged cyber stalker do not live in the same State then, it can be argued, that no threat was either made or intended.
God bless
Richard W Comerford
Funny that this is probably closer to a concrete threat than anything Yama has posted, yet nobody is running to contact the police about it.
You don't seem to grasp that harassment doesn't require threats, Gara. If Yama had posted one of those things once, no one would have even noticed. What part of 53 straight months of harassment do you find difficult to understand? Your attempt to ignore that aspect of the situation borders on dishonest.
Furthermore, you're not privy to the information on the background checks. We're not dealing with a psychologically stable individual here.
We're not dealing with a psychologically stable individual here.
That's obvious even to those of us who don't have the background check information.
I'm glad Vox is taking it to the miserable little creature. Wouldn't it be nice if the Mass. Police thought there was suffucient cause to get a warrant to search his house for CP? Even if nothing was found, think of the mess they would make.
Gara the habitual troll defending habitual trolling. Shocker.
It'll be interesting to see how Scalzi, Hines et al manage to spin this as "mean old Vox picking on a poor widdle stalker!" It'll be especially good if Shadowdancer then lets them know some of his attacks on her. The backpedaling will be supersonic.
@Gara
Your intellectual dishonesty is staggering.
I'm genuinely concerned that the wildlife center may be unaware one of their volunteers is a potentially unstable individual that allegedly distributes CP. The center allows underage volunteers and conducts many programs for schools along with holding birthday parties. How many minors have been or will be in contact with this individual?
Per the wildlife center's volunteer application; "Every volunteer who spends a significant amount of time and responsibility will be reviewed by a staff member. This insures a healthy relationship here at the New England Wildlife Center."
What they don't appear to define is what background checks are undertaken if any; and at what intervals if any do they assess the suitability of current volunteers.
Please advise if the Wildlife Center has been informed of this individual's activites so that they may evaluate his fitness as a volunteer. If not it seems prudent to inform the Center in order for them to take action as they see fit.
Yes, the management has been informed. I'm pretty sure Vox will keep you posted on that aspect of it.
I may need to rent an industrial grade popcorn machine for this...
Mr. Day,
Had your post been about "harassment," I don't think anyone would disagree with you. But in your very brief summary, you used the word "threat" four times, even though, again, only one of the quoted comments could be considered a threat.
Mr. Comerford, I appreciate the seriousness of cyber harassment. But Mr. Day is a public figure, one who likes to poke, prod, embarrass and humiliate those he deems less than him (which, from what I can figure, is nearly anyone, but especially anyone who disagrees with him about anything). Public figures must develop thick skins.
That said, Yama certainly has developed an unhealthy fixation, and Mr. Day may have genuine cause for concern. I am not going to criticize his decision to elevate this by alerting the authorities. My only criticism is characterizing as threats comments that are clearly not.
Mr. Also Unimpressed:
Thank you for your reply wherein you posted in part:
"But Mr. Day is a public figure, one who likes to poke, prod, embarrass and humiliate those he deems less than him"
Firstly, Mr. Day is the dread Lord of Evil and therefore the humiliation of lesser mortal is his prime duty.
Secondly, the dread Lord of Evil does not humiliate from the Shadows. Rather he approaches his victims at High Noon on the Town Main Street; much like a cyber Garry Cooper (for you youngsters Mr. Cooper was a famous actor). The Dread Lord's victims know exactly who is he; and they can shoot back.
But the alleged cyber stalker in question does not face his victims on Main Street at High Noon. Rather he stalks them at night. Night after night. Allegedly in this case for over 4-years.
Creepy.
And a man this creepy may, IMO, be dangerous.
God bless
Richard W Comerford
I would appreciate a citation or retraction of
"likes to poke, prod, embarrass and humiliate those he deems less than him"
I have seen no evidence of this. But as you seem such an expert, I'm sure you'll be able to show otherwise.
I agree with Alexander. Vox will readily take down arguments he disagrees with, but never becomes impolite unless the speaker does so first. And he also doesn't sanitize his blog for views he disagrees with unless the comments break the stated blog rules.
Vox has said many times he doesn't expect or want everyone to agree with him. Ask Nate or Josh if they always kowtow to Vox.
40% chance this is a bluff.
55% chance total BS.
