Literally Who admits defeat

The Ralph Retort takes a victory lap as the first fraud of anti-GamerGate finally gives up:
In case you missed it, Zoe Quinn dropped the harassment charges against Eron Gjoni yesterday. It almost brings the long legal saga to an end for Mr. Gjoni, although my understanding is the appeal that was filed against Ms. Quinn’s gag order (Fall 2014 report) will continue. That’s good, because it’s important that we set precedent against this sort of thing happening again. There’s another problem that unfortunately won’t be settled by the courts, though, and that’s the trashy and unethical mainstream media. Honestly, I don’t mind the trashy part. It’s the lies that make my blood boil. I roll around in the dirt here fairly frequently, but I always tell you the truth as I know it at the time. That’s something that will never change. Our opponents on the other side can’t claim that with a straight face.

The mainstream media and the SJW blogosphere have no interest in the truth. They simply want to spin dishonest narratives and get paid for it.... She asked for the charges to be brought and she asked for them to be dropped. It’s called “loss by forfeit,” you fucking idiots. The first thing I thought after reading The Mary Sue post was: “How stupid do you have to be to write something like that?” Then, the second thing that ran through my mind was: They aren’t stupid, that was just the best spin they could come up with. Whatever the case may be, it’s asinine. Zoe lost, Eron won, and GamerGate gets the last laugh.

Still, we can’t fool ourselves completely. Ms. Quinn receives thousands of dollars a month for doing absolutely nothing. She doesn’t even pretend to make games anymore and has instead switched over to the “online abuse” racket.
As usual, the truth will out. Sometimes it just takes a while. And that's why persistence is all that is required for ultimate victory, because SJWs Always Lie.

"SJWs Always Lie"

The irony being that they rationalize that to themselves by saying they don't believe that truth exists, only competing narratives. But if that were the case, then they'd stumble on the truth every now and then by chance if nothing else.

Instead they always lie.

So they do believe in truth, and know it, if only enough to always make sure they're speaking the opposite.

Yep, I've gone through her 3000 word opus where she announced she was giving it up. It was ... what we expected.

Anonymous HongKongCharlie February 13, 2016 6:00 AM

I tried to count the times she used I or me. Do all SWJ's suffer from Narcissist Personality Disorder?

Her weaknesses were pretty easy to spot, a mental and emotional nut case, fragile. I would hazard a guess that you can hit that weakness indirectly, and not her specifically, "the poor poor girl is an emotional wreck oh that poor girl."

I doubt her source of revenue or her enablers want to take much shit because of her, I bet with a little pressure she goes from victim to liability fairly quick.

For some reason my posts are not showing up? This is a test.

Why do SJW lie? In practical terms it means securing a job within the system or a revenue stream from some sugar daddy outfit, yeah they will lie and dissemble and then rationalize it, kind of feminine like.

Now who do SJW lie to? Everyone, and more importantly for us they lie to their political allies, without shame. Go ahead hang out on a left wing board it is one continual lie to keep that coalition together each little faction or individual elbowing in for a job or a revenue stream. Much weakness is there.

There is friction in that war fighting machine, Clausewitz said something about friction, they need and deserve much more friction.

Good lord. I'd almost forgotten about Zoe Quinn of Five Guys fame.

This has been our own little version of the Dreyfus Affair. The actual progenitor of this thing doesn't matter at all in the big picture.

The silly, unimportant and unable to keep her legs together Zoe Quinn should never have been able to touch off this big of riot...but she did.

Props Zoe!

We couldn't have done it without you!

It's not too different from the crowd of poor-poor-pitiful-mes that harangued the Bernoid yesterday in north Minneapolis. "Give us money!" they cried. "Ignore the other minorities over there--this is about giving US stuff!" And this is a literal quote: "I mean, yeah, I'll take a check," (reparations). For once, Bernoid was realistic, telling them that it ain't gonna happen. This was not popular.

There are more than a few in Minneapolis' urban vibrant world whose living consists of haranguing white people until they are paid to go away for a while. Then there are the bums on street corners, who are the junior varsity of the guilt scam.

@1...
Evan Sayet has a good theory about what makes leftists tick. Not only the clock analogy doesn't hold, but objective truth is simply impossible for them. He explains why they will always come to the wrong conclusion.

What I could never get over was how lousy a 'game' (and I use that term very loosely) Depression Quest actually was. That name alone sure said 'hot seller' didn't it? (/sarc, if it wasn't obvious)
A text adventure, a genre that died out about the same time she was born ('87) and for good reason.
The rest, as they say, is NSFW history.

Anonymous Steve February 13, 2016 9:19 AM

YIH - it wasn't even a text adventure. Text adventures had inventories, NPC's, multiple locations and sophisticated (for the time) language-based UI's.

Depression Quest was more like "playing" a flowchart.

Blogger YIH February 13, 2016 9:33 AM

@Steve:
Point taken, that piece of work reminded me of those silly ''choose your adventure'' books I saw as a kid.
True text adventures such as this example died out with most 8 bit computers. Even the 8 bit NES and (original) Game Boy could easily handle graphic RPGs by that point.

I saw this vlog on Youtube who was posted on January 19, 2016 about a movie project about Zoe Quinn. With the recent news, I hope she'll put her movie idea in the fridge.

Btw, I wonder if someone will do a Downfall parody clip celebrating this victory for Gamergate? ;-)

SJWs always double down. I expect the movie will be made by the SJWs already invested in it despite recent events. Because as we know, SJWs always lie, Zoe will be the hero and win in the end (see Ralph's MarySue.com link for this hilarity).

a movie project about Zoe Quinn.
Hardly a surprise, there's enough story and drama there for a movie - or at least a craptacular episode of Law & Order.
If a mediocre flick can be made about Steve Jobs or Faceberg, why not this [insert favorite expletive here]?
You watch, in about 2 or 3 years there will be ''Twitter, the movie'' which I'm not looking forward to, and neither should you.

If it comes out the MSM will take it as gospel even though it's already thoroughly discredited. Is there a less wretched bastion of ill will?

The clip would be great. What would be better would be an actual movie exposing the bald face lies and hypocrisy of the MSM and the SJWs (the MSM heavily overlapping with the SJW set of course). For the GG people it could be a bit cathartic, and maybe a few MSM types might have a crisis of conscience being confronted with their bald face lies. Not likely, but we could always dream.

Referring to the making of a GG movie of course.

a movie project about Zoe Quinn

Is she earning "thousands of dollars" a month without having sex with people paying her?

I saw that in the Mary Sue link mentioned above:
and my history in sex work.
Who, and why would anyone pay to have sex with that? We're talking about something that could make Viagra tablets softer than gummy bears.

Another gem from that link:
You probably know that judges and juries can be biased and hold backward views and assumptions,
Like those things called 'facts' and 'testimony'.

The barbarians aren't happy with you unless you think just like them, and the Mary Sue is barbarians all the way down.

Observation for the Barbarians: if everything is relative, what meaning to "forwards" and "backwards" have? Remember, there *is* a test coming up in the future.

BGKB, for the Nth time, nobody gives a flying fuck about what gays do or don't do. Stop trying to bring everything back to gay gay gay gay gay.

You're gay. We get it. Get over it. It's really not that interesting.

You know my policy on monomanias.

Blogger VD February 13, 2016 12:00 PM

Who, and why would anyone pay to have sex with that?

It's possible that THAT didn't look like that a few years ago. Then again, consider what options are available to the gammas of the world given that John Scalzi and Wil Wheaton are Rich, Famous Power Gammas.

I'm looking forward to "Tumblr: The Movie!" I expect it to be a hot XXX mess that segues effortlessly between oversharing, nudity, mental illness, masturbation, SJWism and sex.

Semi-OT (related via #GamerGate): Milo has an article up about how Twitter's new algorithmic timeline could be used to influence elections. More generally, it could keep the politically incorrect (or even merely insurgent) from being seen at all.

In the comments, An-Nusantarani recommends freezepeach.xyz which is based on GNUSocial, an alternative to both Twitter and Tumblr. I just checked it out, and it looks interesting.

Evan Sayet has a good theory

not bad. he's gotten to where i was circa 1990. ie - if it was an accident, they wouldn't choose Evil EVERY time ...

the only problem i have with him is that he asserts, over and over, that a worldview which chooses Evil nearly 100% of the time ... is not Evil.

who is refusing to think critically now?

faced with the choice of KNOWING that his sister is Evil, *and freely chooses to be so*, Sayet goes chickenshit and calls them "well meaning".

fucking hell, she's Evil. her actions and choices define her as such.

The worst part is that men are TWELVES TIMES more capable of committing suicide than broads so Depression Quest should have been much more 6 TIMES MORE man-centric to prevent suicide, assuming its attention was evenly divided between the sexes.

Which, considering the twat that "made" it (has anyone ever seen that freak code a single thing?), is probably a bad assumption with which to start.
