2015 Book of the Year

Bernard Chapin, of Chapin's Inferno, names SJWs Always Lie his 2015 book of the year:
Reading a book four times is a very rare endeavor for me but it’s a true testament to the value of Vox’s insight. We fight the left here, and SJWs Always Lie is a great “how to” guide for those of you at home. I made two videos concerning the work in the fall but I had a ton of questions to ask him. He’s a very wise guy and it even sounds as if RooshV actively sought out his advice in regards to his immaculate press conference. Roosh’s tactics were completely in line with the rules Vox lays out in the book.
While I'm pleased that SJWAL has been so well-received by so many people, and I very much appreciate the distinction, it is regrettable that the book is necessary in the first place. I look forward to the time when it will be regarded as a curiosity, a historical artifact, and people will wonder if an SJW had something to do with the Whig Party, and what "social justice" might have been.

By the way, Roosh did a hell of a job with that press conference. Because people don't pay attention to negative accomplishments, most haven't noticed the way in which it killed the Narrative and completely shut down a global media meme in one fell swoop. It was magnificent. That is something that will need to be analyzed and explicated in SJWADD.

Bernard interviewed me about SJWAL yesterday. And I have to confess, at this point, it is entirely possible that he knows the contents better than I do.

There will always be people who would rather lie than say nothing, there will always be sinners who seek to make society accept their favorite sin, and there will always be SJWs.

John Stuart Mill; There's a name you don't hear every day and an undead horse that can't be beaten hard or often enough.

Listening to Vox and Molyneux on youtube right now. Looking forward to watching Chapin's video next. Expect another Milo video afterwards.

So much more refreshing than legacy media's dribble.

I'm picturing you as properly dressed for this interview because the alternative would be unpleasant.

Interesting that Bernard with his familiarity of SJWAL thought Scalzi was literally an ex-marine.

This interview prompted me to think you could do a class on SJWAL something like your Devgame class. Start with an outline of the book; what is an SJW, how to recognize entryism, how to combat SJWism e.g. Roosh presser. I'll be the first to sign up right now.

Sounds like he does that informally already. Maybe someone else could do that though, because it sounds like the knowledge is getting used pretty heavily (e.g. the Minnesota church). Really, all someone would have to do is post video of them giving advice to someone who's come under attack.

Another great interview by the way. Amazing how you avoid being boring after so many interviews on the same relatively short book.

Isn't it though? A lady at work couldn't believe I don't watch any news. (Or virtually any "normal" TV either.)

I would wager I am still just as informed on current events (other than celebrity drivel).

Also re: Dave,

Given that the third book will be titled SJWs Always Project, and the inherently offensive posture of that idea, I think we can look forward to something like a decentralized community of SJW hunters.

At least, that's my fantasy :-).

@Aeoli "See The SJW Attack Survival Guide on the right sidebar."

Thanks Aeoli; I'm familiar with the guide. As Vox referenced, future SJW books will analyze specific instances but an online course or youtube is much more immediate and can be edited on the fly.

How is the punching horse wiki progressing?

Should be Book of the Decade.

@9 Likely more informed.

I am routinely astounded by my colleagues. Not so much by what they are misinformed about (although that can also be surprising) but rather what they have never heard about in the first place.

Which is exactly the intended effect of the gatekeepers. What you don't know about can't influence you. If you ca't see the stings you'll never know you're a puppet.

At the discussion of 'Why do SJWs do it?' I was minded of the classic CS Lewis quote:

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience."

Even though it never works out well, they never learn, because it's not about learning, it's about power.

As a now retired MRA, I can attest to the accuracy of Vox's perception of a narrow mindset. For me, at least, that was purposeful. "I'm not trying to fix the whole world. I'm just trying to have an impact on these specific injustices."

Most of the friction and fallings out between different sectors of the Manosphere is that we keep seeing the other camps as potential recruits. Bernard Chapin's falling out with AVFM was largely due to his frustration with their refusal to abandon their "narrow view" and adopt his primary concern, conservatism. Similarly, the dialogue between Game proponents and MRAs pretty much ends in "No, I'm not making myself into an Alpha." and "No. I'm not going to whine about how unfair life is."

So it goes.

I've done my part Dark Lord and have bought your flesh bound tome and also contributed to the blasphemous documentary Silenced. The flesh on the tome was pixelated due to it being a kindle version but it was totally there and I'm pretty sure a sprite suffered dearly.

I want SJWAL or Cuckservatives as book of the year.

Looking forward to the debate on the gods, could the gods of poverty and calamity be asked or any thoughts there for a later time.
