EU idiocy is not Russia's problem

What on Earth do the moronic EU officials hope to achieve by whining at Russia? It's enough to make even Putin crack a smile.
Konstantin Romodanovsky, head of Russia's Federal Migration Service, said 'multiculturalism has failed' because Europe never formed a unified strategy to integrate refugees into Western society. He told RT: 'Practicing family reunification and offering refugees generous benefits without integrating them into the labor market, the EU did not expect that such a great number of people would claim these rights.

'This was clearly a mistake. The policy of multiculturalism has failed.'

He pointed to the mass sex attacks by gang of migrant men on women in Cologne. He said: 'Note the defiant behavior of refugees and their growing claims and demands. What happened in Germany on New Year’s Eve is a striking example of this.'

His comments came after it emerged Brussels was seeking a deal with Vladimir Putin to stop fuelling the influx of migrants into Europe. A sharp rise in numbers entering the continent from Russia has led senior officials to plead with Moscow for help. It comes despite warnings that, by bombing Syria and fuelling the flow of refugees, Russia is 'weaponising' the crisis to 'overwhelm' and 'break' Europe.

Meanwhile, migrants continued to ignore warnings about that their hopes for quick access to a better life in Europe would fail.
It's interesting to note how Serbia and Russia, two nations that are willing to defend their borders and their people, aren't being overrun by invaders. Perhaps there is a lesson in that for the feckless European leaders.

But it is funny to see the EU leaders trying to simultaneously blame Russia for the problem and beg them to solve it. Do you think they'd accept an invitation from Putin to send the Russian military to guard their borders for them?

Wait a minute... they can't possibly be THAT stupid, can they?

That'd be really funny if Russia offered to station troops in the EU to protect their borders. Perhaps they should offer to reinstate the Iron Curtain again? Maybe West Germany would be shooting Germans trying to escape the Orc horde?

Blogger Gordon March 11, 2016 5:42 AM

The pictures from the Russia-Norway border crossing told the story. Russia was making it very easy to travel to the sole border station at Storskog. But Norway would not accept any refugees travelling by car, because that meant there were people smugglers. So the thousands of migrants all arrived on bicycles.

However, the bicycles did not meet Norway's regulations. Thus they were not allowed in. A large pile of discarded bicycles sat by the border station.

At least the Norskis are being somewhat realistic. They are deporting some of the rapists and other criminals. They can do this because they are not subject to the EU human rights regime. But the Russians are refusing to take their swarm back for now. Whoops!

The Swedes, though, are utterly willing to sit with their hands over their eyes singing ABBA songs to drown out the cries of their daughters being raped.

Anonymous Bz March 11, 2016 5:57 AM

The EU is begging Russia to stop winning in Syria*, and holding out the lure of fewer migrants to its own population as part of the bargain. Except we already know they want more migrants, many many more, certainly not less, so what was the point again? Maybe Pope Francis can explain? "More muslims!" Thank you, your holiness.

* Since it turns out the EU and USA are covertly helping ISIS while denouncing it, and ISIS is losing, does that mean we now are getting fleeing ISIS/terrorist rapefugees shuttled through our other ISIS-friend, Turkey? Why, now that you mention it, I guess it does. Thanks, glorious leaders!

One thing I've noticed from this mess is that leftists that I sometimes interact with are no longer holding up Sweden as an example of a wonderful socialist country when I ask for examples where hardcore leftist policy has not failed.

Blogger Subversive Saint March 11, 2016 6:02 AM

At this point it just easier for me to believe the Euro women genuinely want the potential of being raped to exist to fuel their fantasies, otherwise there would already be an unexplained level of lead poisoning in the migrant communities.

Romodanovsky is partially correct. The problem is that the EU is being overrun and you can't assimilate that many people when it requires at least two generations to assimilate a family. We saw this amply demonstrated during the mass immigration period in the late 19th century when the character of the country was completely changed.

Blogger Phillip George March 11, 2016 6:32 AM

The EU accusing Russia of destabalization has as much credibility of them holding an honest enquiry into the downing of MH17. or David Kelly's death.

Leftards are as gullible as they are persistent. The grand irony is that Russia has emerged from their fog of war, valley of the shadow of death experience with communism/ socialism and come out vowing never again. Christianity is back. They even reinstated the military order of Saint George medals.

Anyone gullible enough to subscribe to abiogenesis as their belief system hasn't got a lot going for them. They deserve Islam. There hasn't been a party balloon pricker like him, ever.

The interesting thing is that that the smaller, non-leadership countries are the ones that are attempting to take control of their own future. Serbia & Russia saw the problem up front. Hungary acted late, but they did act. Norway, Macedonia, and Bulgaria are making an attempt, although it may be too little too late. There are indications of sanity in Europe, but not in the countries which have large economies and a desire to dictate to other countries.

Russia has it own problem with the hordes. They have very large and restive migrant labor populations. Most of them are Muslims from Central Asia and more and more are becoming radicalized in Russia.

Fortunately, after Chechnya, these folks realize that trying to fight Russia is a losing proposition because the Russians don't get hung up on things like due process, human rights, religious freedom, or collateral damage. As Beslan and the Theater Gassing both demonstrated, the Russians are willing to have a lot of their own die if it means they get the SOBs in the end. And if you are willing to kill your own people to get the bad guys then there is no use in trying to take hostages or human shields: the Russians will shoot through them to kill you. Not that they disregard the lives of their citizens completely, but when it comes to dealing with terrorist types any ethical or procedural hiccups can and will be used against you.

What that means is that Russia has become a net exporter or trans-shipper of radical Muslims. If they want to fight the Russians they don't do it in Russia, they might try to do it in Syria. But so far, despite large numbers moving into Russia and being radicalized, they all tend to move on down the road rather than stay for the jihad in Moscow. That should tell us all something.

Invite Russia? There is NATO.

The problem is the elite in any case would have to recognize an invasion for what it is.

Blogger FALPhil March 11, 2016 7:47 AM

Invite Russia? There is NATO.

NATO is a US puppet used to perpetuate the insane US foreign policy of constant war against pissant third world countries which are no threat for the purpose of keeping military supplier political donors solvent. Then, when you consider most members of NATO have shifted military budgets into social programs, leaving US taxpayers holding the bag, NATO becomes the largest single enabler of the migration problem in Europe.

Blogger Sherwood family March 11, 2016 7:54 AM

FALPhil, that's absolutely right. NATO no longer has a strategic rationale. It should have been scrapped at the end of the Cold War. The problem was that scrapping it was going to hurt the myriad contractors, suppliers, etc. that propped it up. The same is true of much of the U.S. foreign policy apparatus. So many programs are Cold War relics re-purposed to keep them hobbling along. Now you can add to those the legacies of our policies in Iraq and Afghanistan and you have a foreign policy Frankenstein monster with no coherent strategy. When interagency meetings take place no one can clearly articulate what the overall strategic purpose of many of these programs and policies are. They know what the proximate strategic reasons are or what the tactical requirements are but there is literally no hook back to how it helps the United States. it is almost all focused on helping some other country with the vague view that doing so will give us political capital that we can then cash in. But that is not the way things work. Even in direct quid pro quo situations most of these are not done with real U.S. benefit in mind.

The "news" that Tony Blair intentionally flooded the UK with Orcs as "just politics" raises the question of whether the real panic about Trump is that a Trump Administration would kick over a football field of rocks under which decades of overt High Crimes and Treason fester.

We don't know what gangrene sits just out of sight, but a regime change to Trump (not a professional politician rising through the ranks) may be the pin on a really large hand grenade for policymakers of the past 3 decades.

They couldn't scrap NATO in 1990. The Liberal Democracies would have collapsed like the Soviet Union if all the U.S. Army bases and most of the Air bases closed. They would have had to pay for their own defense instead of using that money to create a leisure class. Hans and Gertrude would have had to clean toilets or starve.

Blogger jaakkeli March 11, 2016 9:05 AM

@1 That's exactly what the Russians are doing. A few hundred refugees from places like Afghanistan etc came over the Finnish border, our government called up Moscow (ignoring the EU) and made a quick deal where Russians guard our border. So their border guards are now doing double duty, after all normally the task of Russian border guards would be to check the people trying to cross from our sides to theirs, but now the rooskies are doing the jobs that Finnish border guards just won't do anymore.

Of course our media is still publishing non-stop propaganda about how Russia has been flooding us with refugees when a few hundred came through that border (which Russia quickly sealed) and tens of thousands came through Sweden (and Sweden refused to do anything about it, the flow only stopped because it was stopped in Denmark). I never thought I'd see the day when I trust Russian media more than ours but here we are.

Anonymous Bz March 11, 2016 9:18 AM

The Swedes did eventually do something about it; I saw their Green party minister crying about it on TV sometime before Christmas. I suspect they didn't really mean it though.

Blogger Ron March 11, 2016 9:21 AM

they cant possibly be that stupid

Why assume they are stupid at all? Instead assume they are corrupt and treacherous. From that assumption, determine what benefit a corrupt treacherous yet intelligent eurocrat would get by flooding his country with savages from a country he has had a hand in bombing.

Recently, Israel has been flooded with Sudanese immigrants that the voting majority did not want, but that our beloved elites did want. There was a hillarious video where a right wing activist brought these same migrants to a swimming pool used by elite secular leftists. Needless to say, the self righteous hypocrites didnt care to swim with a bunch of "dirty blacks"

So why do they do it? Why do these assholes consistently polute their own countries with people that make life miserable for everyone else living their?

Here are some suggestions

1. They are insulated from the direct consequences of their own bullshit, ie they have their own gated communities and pools that you filthy goddamn peasants are forbidden to enter

2. They have no real competitors in the political or economic realm. Dont like them and refuse to buy their shit? Well fuck you because they are the only game in town. You wretched animals can vote for any politician you like so long as his name isnt Trump.

This btw is why Castalia house is so important.

3. They are isolated from their fellow human beings. One of the things I love about the city I live in is that it is a well known secret that the Jerusalem cab drivers double as life coaches and advisors. Generally if I have a problem I would grab a cab and yak away in hebrew with the chatty cab driver who would inevitably give fantastic advice. I one time asked why they are so good at this, and he paused for a moment and said its because everyone uses the cabs. Judges, house wives, college students, seminaey students, police, politicans, executives, etc. and the irrepressibly curious cabbies chat with them all. as a result they have a lot of common sense. Our elites have disconnected from their fellows. They are not quite sane as a result.

They are stupid only in the sense that they believe the Louis 16 treatment can't happen to them. Apparently that's what professional armies, death robots, and urban suppression warfare are all for: isolating the elite from the rage of their citizens.

But I personally doubt the effectiveness of these strategies and their internal cohesion. IOW, there being no honour among thieves I expect various factions to throw others to the dogs on a regular basis, once the pitchforks and torches come out.

Yes, of course the Russians are facilitating the flood of refugees in order to weaken Europe.

The problem is explaining why the EU is stupid enough to let this happen - because it requires their cooperation.

But then, since the American elite hates its own country and wants to destroy it, we shouldn't be so surprised that the European elites feel the same way about their own countries.

Either the people will replace the elites, or the elites will replace the people.

Serbia, wisely, carried out ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Bosnia, and again in Kosovo during the Balkans wars of the 90s. It would have done a lot more, but the United States and NATO militarily backed the anti-Serbian side in every case, and in particular supported the Muslims. Among other things, the US bombed civilian Serbian targets in support of Muslim separatists.

This is in keeping with centuries of Serbian history fighting against Turkish Muslim invaders, then rebelling as a conquered people under Turkish rule. Even today, Serbia is nationalist, pro-Russian and very anti-Muslim. The news doesn't talk about them these days because they aren't a member of the EU like Hungary.

The problem is much worse. A nation can NEVER assimilate Muslims because you can never assimilate Islam. A Muslim refugee man arriving in Germany or Sweden today may be entirely grateful and committed to upholding and realizing the secular civic values that undergird these societies, but what about his sons and grandsons and great-grandsons? They will likely revert to the mean of Muslim behavior and become violent Jihadi conquerers or at least supporters of such. Islam cannot every be assimilated to western society. 51. Bob

That is one of the three great foreign policy disasters of the past 25 years. The message it sent was "Get nukes and they bother somebody else" and both North Korea and Iran understand this perfectly.

The first big disaster was Mogadishu, which led to the "Kill XXX Americans and they will fold" meme. We will be suffering from that one for a century, as terrorist try it again and again.

The second disaster came about in the Iraq War (parts 1 and 2): "We can set the limits on how big a war we wage and we can win quickly and easily" We forgot that the enemy always gets a vote. Even worse, if you can't win on the battlefield you can still win on the nightly news or in the halls of Congress - just ask the Vietnamese.

The WMD fiasco in Libya is the worst because it expands an existential threat. Be aware that nerve gas is way too clumsy, nukes are harder to build than you think, but bio-weapons manufacture themselves and concession stands at international airports are a lot easier to acquire than hundreds of ICBMs.

It is going to be a tough century.
