Jetzt kommen die Nationalisten

And not a moment too soon:
German Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative CDU party was humiliated in key regional elections on Sunday as voters delivered their verdict at the ballot box about her open-door refugee policies.

Exit poll results in three out of 16 German states foretell a wipeout in next year's general election as the hard-right capitalized on public disquiet and altered the political landscape forever.

Baden-Wuerttemberg - solidly middle class and home to blue chip companies like Porsche and Daimler - was won by the Green Party after Merkel's CDU lost nearly 11 percent support since the last vote there in 2011.

And the Alternative for Germany - AfD anti-immigrant party - garnered 12.5 percent of the votes, propelling a party that her supporters call 'Nazis in pinstripes' into the local parliament.

Leader Frauke Petry said: 'We are seeing above all in these elections that voters are turning away in large numbers from the big established parties and voting for our party. 'They expect us finally to be the opposition that there hasn't been in the German parliament and some state parliaments.'

'The people who voted for us voted against this refugee policy,' added AfD deputy chairman Alexander Gauland.

'We have a very clear position on the refugee issue: we do not want to take in any refugees,' he declared.
I very much hope the German nationalists succeed in coming to power in a democratic fashion and sending all the non-German nationals back to their homelands. Because if they don't, we can safely anticipate that the German ultras are going to come to power in a very non-democratic manner and I doubt they're going to bother with the expense of sending anyone back anywhere.

Merkel and the mainstream parties are not the solution to the problem, for the obvious reason that they are the cause of the problem.

German government going full SJW:

They lie: “AfD has no political programme and no capacity to resolve problems,” he told Die Welt daily on Saturday. “We must make it clear — this party hurts our country.”

They double down: Nevertheless, asked if Merkel should now overhaul her refugee policy, the CDU’s general secretary Peter Tauber said: “I don’t see that need.”

They project: Merkel herself described AfD as a “party that does not bring cohesion in society and offers no appropriate solutions to problems, but only stokes prejudices and divisions”.

Hitler's predecessor:

Kurt von Schleicher was a shadowy figure; a right-wing militarist who saw himself as the "savior" of Germany. He gained political power through close association with the ageing President Paul von Hindenburg. Like some other politicians in the early 1930s, Schleicher thought he could co-opt or control the Nazis by striking a political deal. Like others, he was wrong: he and his wife were murdered by the Nazis in 1934.

there was a smallish riot on the streets of Melbourne Friday night with just about every media outlet refusing to mention Somali refugees and Pacific Islander immigrants. No-one was killed so it wouldn't make a headline anywhere outside Australia.

The hilarity of the gag is the riot happened immediately after the Melbourne council funded "family fireworks" on the river bank had ended. Free family entertainment. Beer and circuses.

The free entertainment was over. "What, no more fucking free stuff. Well won't we just burn the city then"

Whenever there is a problem between Leftist Policy and Reality. It's always reality that's got it all wrong.

The approved reality is that thousands of years of unique micro-cultural development in the shires and meadows, each unique in and of itself can be swept aside with the stroke of a pen in Brussels or Berlin...

The West is too fat for it's own good right now. It's children don't a believe that world where their children going hungry in the night is even a possibility. The urgency of survival has been extinguished and people need that urgency.

Humans need challenges or they fall apart. Big Challenges. Important challenges. Life or death challenges or they just collapse into self absorbed, man-bun wearing Gnostics, who never have children.

Merkel's first two terms were reasonable, but during her third election she turned on the CDU's traditional partner, the FDP. They lost their place in the Bundestag and she partnered with the SPD. It was a major move left and it has only gotten worse. Her "Free German Youth" international socialist roots are now showing and it is disconcerting. If the party doesn't act against her soon, they will continue to lose power in the coming years. By refusing to work with AfD, this could result in a Left (former commies) and Green alliance which could be the thing that launches the ultranationalist into action.

Germany's best hope is a CDU that fires Merkel (Difficult, she has been running the place since 2005) and launches an effort to expel most of these invaders. If they don't, they will see the AfD rise even stronger.

He's playing disloyalty to management as loyalty to Andrew Breitbart. Journalists used to be an edgy, feral bunch of bastards, like musicians and actors. Ben's got the right attitude, he's just got the wrong objectives. Sometimes he's provoking a tranny into making threats on national television. Sometimes he's backing a media-slut's play for notoriety.

Realistically, with Trump on-course for the highest office? Ben positioning himself as anti-Trump is a smart play. Everyone prefers a half-credible critic to a non-credible one.

The Secular Right will be rounding up Jews and shoving them into cattle cars long before they get to us. That will give us some time to plan an escape/counterattack. (Those of us who aren't there alongside the Secular Right helping with the shoving, that is...)

ROI, it was just another typical Jets V Sharks street rumble. But the main street CBD aspect just reinforces the "don't give a f...." attitude to the host country. The story isn't youth unemployment boredom marginalization. The story is the mainstream media non-story. The conspiracy of silence. Fortunately no innocent by-standers were killed and no guns involved here. It's just another chapter in the dysfunctional immigration story/ the new tribalism story.

The mainstream media have to blame a white man if a Somali Gang want to murderously engage a Pacific Islander gang. The fact it happened in the central business district means neither group care what their host country's laws mean or where they originated. Burning down the house might be hyperbole in this context.

No Chinese nationals were hurt, but isn't it nice they have an interest in how their own people are doing as expats or investors in Australia. That's it in a nutshell.

Anonymous Adam March 14, 2016 3:22 AM

One gang was Sundanese versus another gang on Pacific Islanders. They ran through the CBD smashing chairs and hurling over tables that families were sitting at having dinner. Numbers ranging from 100-200. Very few snippets on the news, none of which mention their ethnic origin.

Ben Shapiro Betrays Loyal Breitbart Readers in Pursuit of Fox News Contributorship

by WILLIAM BIGELOW 14 Mar 2016

LOS ANGELES — Former Breitbart News editor-at-large Ben Shapiro announced Sunday evening via left-wing Buzzfeed that he is abandoning Andrew Breitbart’s lifelong best friend, widow, hand-picked management team and friends in pursuit of an elusive contributorship at the Fox News Channel.

Friends of Hamas could not be found for comment.

Shapiro, a Harvard lawyer and member of the State Bar of California, apparently violated virtually every clause in his employment contract during an appearance on The Kelly File last Thursday evening.

But, but, but.... everyone calls the AfD racists! Why did people still vote for them? After all if you vote anti-immigration you'll be called a racist and you don't want that, do you?

Seriously though, this may diffuse the situation a bit. Or not. Personally I'd like to see the election shenanigans the French pulled to keep their racists out of power. Because that doesn't piss anyone off and harden their attitudes at all. Not one bit.

The sad thing is this is entirely predictable. I have lots of popcorn so lets watch the show continue to unfold...

FWIW, Merkel's been in hot water before. I got my hopes up during the multiple issues with Greek debt. From what I could tell from the US, she was losing voters right and left as she held steady on the bailouts. Somehow she remained in power, apparently the voters were not as mad as I thought. And from what I read now about the Migrant Crisis, people there should be up in arms - a lot more than what we see. Which makes me wonder how biased the information we are getting might be. Of course, Europe is going to be considerably more liberal than us Vox Readers, so they will bend over much more happily than we could even imagine.

Anonymous Foppish Lad March 14, 2016 10:57 AM

Just talked to a German acquaintance. 47 with one child, she insists that Germany needs the refugees because the native population is not having enough children to replace themselves.

Friends from France seem to have a similar view. They see most of the immigrants as weird but harmless, and actually necessary to do menial labor.

There is an obvious cognitive disconnect among all of them. Ask them what they think of the africans or middle easterners in their midst and there is real disgust. They genuinely don't like them. But ask them if anything should be done about it (like mass exportations) and they will express similar disgust about the nationalists.

They are like Buddhists with a rat infestation. Yes, rats can be a problem but calling an exterminator would be simply unthinkable.

The Devon/Cornwall genetic survey was what really caught my attention. It was limited to those people with grandparents that were born with in 40 miles of the epicenter of the study.

The Epicenter was in the river. The genetic border was nothing but stark.

The muslim migrants are STILL agitating to get in and aren't above placing children in harm.

Somehow they equate "strong borders" as synonymous with human trafficking. Really.
