France needs a new revolution

"We are in a new era and France has to live with terrorism. We have to show solidarity and show our calm.... The only response is one of dignity and responsibility."
- French Prime Minister Manuel Valls

No, that is neither the only response nor the correct one.

There are 10 dead children in Nice, murdered because the French government is too enamored with globalism and multiculturalism to address a lethal and existential threat to the people of France. Do the French not remember the words of La Marseillais, their own national anthem?

Aux armes, citoyens...
Tremblez, tyrans et vous perfides
L'opprobre de tous les partis,
Tremblez! vos projets parricides

Patrick Calvar, chief of the Directorate General of Internal Security, told members of the French parliamentary commission that thanks to the increasing frequency of sexual assaults by islamic migrants, “Extremism is growing everywhere… We are on the brink of civil war.”

That was reported on July 13, the day before the mass slaughter in Nice. That sound you hear in the distance is Charles Martel sharpening his sword.

There has to be some Gallic pride in there somewhere. If there's a group that kills your children at a summer holiday fireworks show, it's time for the Frank to rise up and show why the Turk used to fear him.

@3: "at another time and place non uniformed enemy combatants could be summarily executed. No uniform, no Geneva convention."

I was raised on anti-German propaganda movies.

It wasn't until I was an adult that I realized the Law of War provides for the summary execution of "freedom fighters", "partisans", and "Maquis" (aka "terrorists").

Indeed, reprisal against civilian populations is also permissible.

Ye sons of France, awake to glory,
Hark, hark! what myriads bid you rise!
Your children, wives and white-haired grandsires.
Behold their tears and hear their cries! (repeat)
Shall hateful tyrants, mischiefs breeding,
With hireling hosts, a ruffian band,
Affright and desolate the land,
While peace and liberty lie bleeding?

(Children's Verse)
We shall enter the (military) career
When our elders are no longer there,
There we shall find their dust
And the trace of their virtues (repeat)
Much less keen to survive them
Than to share their coffins,
We shall have the sublime pride
Of avenging or following them

To arms, citizens
Form your battalions,
Let's march, let's march!
Let an impure blood
Soak our fields!

La Marseillaise lyrics.

The only explanation for the liberal response to terrorism is that progressivism is a religion, with its own dogmas, gods, and salvation. Adherents would prefer to martyr themselves than reject one of the foundational pillars of their faith; multiculturalism. They'd prefer to see their women raped and their countries razed than have to confront their belief system. Sane men of the future will marvel at this age and hold their men in contempt.

I was wondering last night if these sort of attacks have become so common that people will be desensitized and become accustomed to them. Sort of like how we already are with car wrecks, or news about violence between Israelis and Palestinians.

Zero chance of that.

These large-scale Islamic massacres are a relatively new phenomenon. People are still in disbelief, and most are hoping this will stop on its own or that the government will somehow magically become more effective at preventing further loss of life without the threat of revolt. A large segment of the French population is still untouched, having not yet lost a friend, neighbour, co-worker or family member. When that starts happening, people will mobilize.

Israel is under existential threat all the time, but they don't sit back passively and just let it happen, or hope for someone to step in and save their asses. When the French realize they are in the same boat, there will be fireworks.

Blogger Alexander July 15, 2016 9:59 AM

Also, driving a truck or car into a crowd takes no training and does not require a purchase that would trigger alarm bells in the security apparatus; it's not like you need a Peterbilt to pull this off.

So now that this is a surefire way of killing infidels, we can expect to enjoy an increase in frequency of attacks, as those previously thwarted by inability to either obtain firearms or maintain Opsec now have a significantly lower hurdle to get over.

Blogger Mr.MantraMan July 15, 2016 10:01 AM

41 I think the reaction is changing. Everyone is right in this debate, the solution is unthinkable. The data points and reality are sinking in; there is a desperate, unbelievably desperate desire for it to be something else; the Florida shooting was a blatant example of it where gay marriage opponents were blamed.

What we are seeing is a very gradual shift in accepted rationality. This instance is particularly ugly; almost everyone was at a beach over the last weeks, or are planning to be. In our small town we had fireworks and a large crowd gathered. We all can see in our mind where we were last week being a bloody mess strewn with bodies.

This morning there is a desperation, an imploring to think of the victims, to pray for them. Please, please don't even dream of thinking the next thought.

What is necessary to stop this and who will do it?

Islamic violence is merely the symptom, socialism is the actual disease but the feminine predisposition for voting Left is the source of the infection.

@28 Le Pen doesn't propose to live with French own kin. She propose to limit immigration. Which is good in current statist context. Now there are 6.5 millions Muslims in France, stopping immigration doesn't assimilate them magically. You need more than that. You need the State to get out of the way.

@32 Le Pen wants to increase taxes. She would want to take people's guns if they were not already forbidden. Because she is a collectivist/leftist filth.

One ounce of nationalism doesn't matter to pounds of collectivism.
Nationalism is not in itself the value. It's a proxy for individualism, individual sovereignty, which is the true value.
Nationalism & collectivism is fascism, the cause of millions deaths.

Don't get me wrong, she probably is the lesser evil, not because of nationalism, but because the establishment hates her, thus limiting her actions. And limiting the actions of the State is still better than nothing.

False. It is a value. The idea that there is such thing as 'a people' and they wish to live together in common cause in a defined geography is a value.

It's a proxy for individualism, individual sovereignty, which is the true value.

Observably false. Many nations do not value these things. In fact, there's probably a negative correlation between the two. It's a question of balancing two things we want. But 'nationalism' has existed and thrives in places without a priority on individualism, so it's obviously not a proxy.

Nationalism & collectivism is fascism, the cause of millions deaths.

Anonymous Oddy Noman July 15, 2016 10:50 AM

@53 Well said. "the solution is unthinkable"
This is heading towards not war as it is usually thought of, but pitiless mass extermination. Once the switch is thrown, the inculcated inhibitions thrown off, men will kill whole populations with cold fervor, armed, unarmed, women, children, up close or with carpet fire-bombing.

The only thing holding this back now is a lack of organization. Gathering lists of targets, silencing the enemy media and amplifying that of the nationalists, setting up arms factories and logistics, selecting good generals, securing communications, neutralizing infiltrators -- all that requires that was lacking is will, and the will is almost here.

Anonymous Bowman July 15, 2016 10:52 AM

Various news snippets related to Nice, including the following. This kind of defiance of neoliberal narrative would not have been possible without Victor Orban, savior of Europe, standing up to Merkel and to the entire mobile capital establishment on refugees when it seemed like a quixotic impossibility:

Poland’s interior minister is blaming the attack in Nice on the values of multiculturalism and political correctness promoted by European Union leaders like foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini.

Mariusz Blaszczak, interior minister in a right-wing government, said: “We must reject political correctness and call things by their true names. Rather than shedding tears like Mogherini and … organizing marches that solve nothing, authorities should ensure the safety of citizens.”

In an interview on Polsat News, he said the attack in Nice is the consequence of many years of “multi-culti policies and political correctness. This is how it ends.”

He added: “We don’t have such problems. We don’t have districts where law other than Polish law reigns. We don’t have no-go zones for police.” He also praised his party, Law and Justice, for standing firm against accepting migrants.”

Nationalism is not in itself the value. It's a proxy for individualism, individual sovereignty, which is the true value.

Individualism loses to collectivism in head-to-head competition. Individualism is a value, but it isn't the value, and it doesn't have good survival characteristics in the modern world.

Setting the libertarian children's stories aside, western individualism relies on high levels of social trust. That is the underlying basis of what you love and, without strong borders and a strong underlying (and, ironically, homogeneous) culture, you get what we had here last night.

I was wondering last night if these sort of attacks have become so common that people will be desensitized and become accustomed to them. Sort of like how we already are with car wrecks, or news about violence between Israelis and Palestinians.

Upper middle class victims including Davos-types dying assures it will be front and center.

The reason 9/11 elicited a strong response abroad (and weak one at home) was because of who was hit and where the attack happened. Put aside the sob stories about the heroic cops and firefighters. Upper middle class normies in the financial heart of the United States died. If it had been limited to working class people in, say, Louisville nothing much would have been done in response except warn about Islamaphobia.

Did you hear much sustained outcry when Marines were gunned down in Chattanooga? No. Coordinated rapes of young German women meant noting. Office workers killed in California? Yawn. Even the Golden Gay Hispanics dying en masse were dismissed in the long term.

But when these subhumans attack the upper classes in the South of France, we revert to 9/11-type mentality and retaliation. This time the more critical domestic component will not be ignored. Expect the UK to finalize Brexit, France to elect Le Pen, and the United States to elect Trump. The Muslim Problem will be front and center next year, and Islamic enablers in government and the media can expect to meet the same fate as the demons they lionize.

As far as I can see, no meaningful response came from the world after 9/11. I heard some overtures from President Bush about how Islam is a Religion of Peace, and talk of "religious freedom", and then a doubling- and tripling-down of taking in Muslim immigrants all across the West. It doesn't look like we're better off here.

I understand that her party is the only French party that seems to oppose the invading Muslim (and Roma) hordes. In times of crisis, when the streets are literally running with blood, I don't think that people will turn to a woman as a figure of safety. Perhaps in times of relative peace, but when they are becoming terrified, how many people are held back from switching because of the innate desire for a strong leader?

And the Lord upon the Golden Horn is laughing in the sun.

Dim drums throbbing, in the hills half heard,
Where only on a nameless throne a crownless prince has stirred,
Where, risen from a doubtful seat and half attainted stall,
The last knight of Europe takes weapons from the wall...

I've yet to see any Lügenpresse, apparachiks like Valls, police who are there to make sure the rapefugees can operate without interference much less any of those who actually issue the decrees receive their fully earned reward for the crimes of genocide and treason. This also goes for the pedos who presently occupy what is referred to as 'Christianity' in France and most if not all of the EUSSR - all fully in favor of the rapefugees whether flouncing about with Hi-Fellatin' Franny or repeating prayers to Golden Dindu from the pulpits once held by folks like Luther, Calvin, Knox, et al.

Of course it's unreasonable to expect an indoctrinated bunch of idiots who are so completely blinded to reality they deny it when it happens before their own eyes to understand concepts like greater enemies and lesser enemies. Believe it or not, the Musloids and dindus are the lesser enemies. They're the opportunistic infection, not the disease.

I don't know how many here have read any Catholic prophecy. Per Catholic seers (with some prophecies dating back to the VII century), there is coming a "Great King" for France. He will arrive during the reign of an anti-pope who sits in the chair of Peter in Rome. He will take power through a huge civil war embroils first France, then all of Europe. He will lead the fight against the communists, defeating them, and then drive the Saracens from the country. Having stablized France, he will then aid the other countries of Western and Central Europe to drive out the Moslem entirely, reclaim Greece, retake Constantinople with the help of the "New Tsar", finally rededicating the Basilica of Holy Wisdom.

Don't start with the islamists, start with the politicians, bureaucrats, police, and military, who have been forcing muslims on the people then protecting muslims from the people. THEN get the muslims. You won't fix the problem unless you get rid of the real problem. And send a message to every other European and American politician who is against their own people.

Still, the French? I've seen more boisterous little girls.

Cail,
http://defeatmodernism.com/catholic-prophecies-ii/
They have to be read carefully, as many are not actually prophecies, but religious talking about current events in a way that won't get them killed, particularly the late 18th and 19th century ones. And as with all Christian prophecy, there are many who will tie them into the end times whether they are connected or not. And, of course, identifying evil with the bad guy du jour, whether Masons, or Communards, or Republicans.

Basic components:
generalized apostasy, particularly of priests and religious, loss of faith, persecution of the Church, persecution of the faithful within the Church

Civil war in Italy. Pope driven from Rome

Multi-sided civil war in France, Catholics apparently defeated.

Military commander arises, of pious faith, descendant of Chalemagne, with a bad right hip, who leads re-invigorated Catholic Army to victory.

After defeating the Communists, he re-establishes the Church, give Jews and Moslems the option to convert or leave. Jews and Moslems band together to fight. France become a charnel house, blood literally fillng the gutters in Paris.

After driving out the Saracen, Spain and Germany ask for help in removing kebab.

Italy invaded, the Communists killed and the Moslems driven out. French pope installed.

Greece reclaimed and Asia Minor (what is now Turkey) invaded. Constantinople conquered with the help of Russia. Basilica of Holy Wisodom (Hagia Sopia) rededicated by Patriarch.

Healing of the Great Schism

Anonymous Chris Han July 15, 2016 1:19 PM

The incident in Nice stemmed from moral blindness, which is all the French Revolution ever gave to the world.

No sane, God-fearing people would have ever allowed Muslims into their land, at least not without a fight. But because man rejected God and replaced Him with himself (which is what the French Revolution was all about), false, wicked notions like egalitarianism and religious indifferentism flourished, becoming dogma-like.

Yes, the French do need a new revolution, one that rejects and repudiates the false ideals of 1789.

Unfortunately, most French will refuse to do what it takes to pull off that revolution, which requires shedding their pride, and rediscovering the virtue of humility before God.

Blogger Harleyrose59 July 15, 2016 1:26 PM

Patrick Calvar, chief of the Directorate General of Internal Security, told members of the French parliamentary commission: "We are on the brink of civil war."

He said that the situation in France is on such a knife edge that it could just take one more major Islamist terror attack to lead to a huge right-wing backlash.

Speaking to the leading French newspaper, Le Figaro, Mr Calvar said: "This confrontation I think it will take place.

"Even another one or two attacks and it will happen. It therefore behooves us to anticipate and block all these groups."

The technique you see here is to pair a truth (nationalism) with a lie (collectivism), and get you to reject both. That way, you've rejected the lie (which you had already rejected), but also the truth.

The nation, a people united by birth, ancestry and culture, is an organizational unit of civilization which is recognized by God in the Bible. That's good enough for me.

Collectivism on the other hand is in practice an uncivilized hell, much as Isaiah describes a nation against which God has raised his hand, and has marked for destruction.

In light of the very deep and broad insanity from drinking decades worth of grape-drank and consuming several mountain-ranges of shit-sandwiches from Scheissgeld et D'Ormerde's deli-banc, one has to ask if sharia is the worst thing for the French. Feminists would be raped and stoned to death in the public square. A Musloid government would no longer be willing to pay for the princely lifestyles of the state-supported "Church". The sight of the old village church converted to a mosque might even cause the eyes of a few cucks to open (though this seems unlikely). Such a thing might even prepare the ground for a leader as described by Snidely. And, no, the denizens of the Banana Empire are no better - maybe even more disastrously cucked than the French are. Those dumb enough to believe that the wars started by the regime of the Mahdi from West Texas (who stated "Islam… is a religion of peace" as the smoke rose from Manhattan Island) were "fighting Islam" (as millions of Muslims were being re-settled in places from Idaho to Maine), are even dumber than the booboisie in France.
