So raciss, MSNBC!

This may be - in fact, it almost surely is - the most entertaining thing ever broadcast on MSBNC. I love the look on the black guy's face when they go back to him. And is it just me, or was the Colonel in quasi-blackface there?

Undercover shitlords working at MSNBC?

Blogger Orville August 28, 2016 8:09 AM

KFC hired tan actor George Hamilton to play "extra-crispy" Colonel. I guess they aren't running this ad campaign in the EU, but they've been intentionally switching out people playing the Col. such as Norm MacDonald and Daryl Hammond.

Blogger Orville August 28, 2016 8:10 AM

Almost as good as putting "Sum Ting Wong" on the prompter.

Even in the technical department of MSMBC.

Hope you enjoyed that sandwich Mr Shapiro.

Top KeK for sure!

Imagine if this had been Fox News. The angry peasants with pitchforks and torches would already be burning down Castle Frankenstein.

Racist fried chicken. Yes, if Fox had made that blunder they would have torched cities (and looted of course).

Blogger Escoffier August 28, 2016 9:18 AM

That is hilarious.

I expect mainstream media to do one of two things: 1. demonize whites (males in particular) or 2. be absurd and illogical.

Recipe for dwindling ratings, racial division, expanding government, war.

Yes, it was MSNBC on that one too.

Once could be called an accident, but at least two is a trend. That settles it then... MSNBC is racist against black people, and by extension all the leftists who watch it as well are equally guilty. They definitely need to check their privilege, and pay restitution, be fired, and un-personed.

That's the greatest MSNBC clip ever. Moderator lady was about to have an embolism - I wish we could have seen her face when the crispy chicken first hit the screen. Someone see if Alt-Right minion in the bowels of MSNBC can dig that one up...

Blogger The Other Robot August 28, 2016 10:05 AM

There was a fleeting smile on the black guy's face as well, at the end. Very quickly suppressed.

I wonder if he saw the joke.

Dam if she is offering free KFC TRUMP will lose the blacks he had up on stage that told of Mexicans ethnically cleansing black neighborhoods.

Fifty years ago it was a conservative “establishment” that was being caught flat-footed and off guard by an insurgent popular culture. Now it’s progressives who are beginning to look stiff, humorless, and hopelessly “square,” in the face of a baffling uprising from the collective id. What might this portend?

Personally, I think the Hamilton hire was genius in terms of reputation AND creepiness. Don't forget, between him and MacDonald, there was also Jim Gaffigan, and a voice actor that I can't exactly place.

Of course, the Gawker rejects that are currently spewing garbage over on the sub-sites of Deadspin (not that Deadspin is itself SJW-free, though it's not as bad as many of the other UniGawker acquisitions) happened to post a picture of Mike Pence and his mom eating KFC the other day. My wife's response:

"Dammit, now I want some KFC for lunch. That pic's making me hungry."

He's almost as bad as that Stephen A Austin, commenting on sports.

(If I spelled his name wrong, sorry, I could care less)

Excuse me, please... I meant "Smith".

I was trying to book a hog-hunting trip to Texas.

as Orville notes, that's George Hamilton.

one of George's primary claims to fame is his tan ( he was the only Dracula to have a tan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_at_First_Bite ). the Doonesbury cartoon strip made regular references to George and his tan throughout the 80s.

that's the joke about the "Extra Crispy" ads, that George has been famously extra crispy since the 1960s. only you have to be a Boomer or leading edge X-er to get the cultural reference.

and it's not Blackface. like Lancaster in "Valdez is Coming", it would be more accurate to call it Beanerface.

DVRs are getting fairly ubiquitous. how do you think you get instant replay from your remote? the DVR is recording constantly.

Well, since we're Catholic, divorce is out of the question. We realize it's a death pact.

We do prefer Popeyes, but she's a wuss when it comes to spices. I, OTOH, am fine with them.

It just happened that it WAS lunchtime that day, and she didn't have a way to get out and get any sort of food.

Not just spices, but Popeye's only serves the really spicy stuff in the deep south. I asked for Popeye's Spicy in northern Georgia once and brought it back, thinking they had accidentally given me the mild stuff.

The girl behind the counter swore it was the spicy mix.

"Honey," I said in my best fake southron accent, "if you don't have to take a drink between each bite, it ain't spicy."
