My NFL watching this season is going to be minimal as long as my 49ers have Kaepernick on the team. I'm not interested in the other teams enough to watch and honestly the 49ers haven't felt like my team since they ran Harbaugh out of town. Kaepernick aside they aren't going to be anything special this season anyway. I'd like for Bradford stay healthy and the Vikings to do well. The most disappointing thing about the NFL for me (besides the creeping political correctness) are the injuries to key players late in the season and playoffs.
As a kid in the 1980s I used to watch the 49ers practice at Red Morton park in Redwood City where they had their training facility. My mom would take me along with another friend. I don't remember much, but she reminded me how Jerry Rice, Joe Montana and other players would show up in their Ferraris and Porsches and walk over to the practice field. It's a memory I'll treasure, even though things seem upside down now compared to them. At least Jerry Rice has his head on straight in criticizing Kaepernick, saying "All lives matter" and that the American flag should be respected.
For 2016 the Game Status Report’s player availability categories are defined as: Out – Will not play Doubtful – Unlikely to play Questionable – Uncertain if player will play
Hillary is teetering between questionable and doubtful.
Oof, those are both some tough options. Good running backs, but both are injury prone. Since both are fighting top-level defenses, you've got a pickle. I'd say start Hyde, if only because the Rams haven't settled into their new stadium yet.
I stopped watching nigger-ball years ago and don't miss it at all. How anyone can spend their Sunday watching feral niggers run up and down a field for three hours is beyond me.

Only 13 posts for some dipshit to spew their unneeded "look at me" on the NFL thread, good job fella!
The pre-game shows are unwatchable today. Oh well, I can tune in in half an hour after the National Anthem Clown Show is over and an actual game is in progress.
Wentz completes TD pass on the first drive of his NFL career to Mathews who dropped the first pass from Wentz who hit him in the hands. Heh, Cleveland passed on Wentz in the draft.
I brought the NFL up with a neighbor and he explained his disinterest by saying they should be throwing a watermelon around.
As for the "look at me," hey I matter, and in nicest sort of way up yours if you don't agree. They do have a great display of athletics in these games and I sometimes get into them, but for the time being I am boycotting, I am just not dedicated enough to know if it will last. Best not to take these sorts of things seriously.
@1 - My condolences. I agree that Jim Harbaugh shouldn't have been run out of town, but his only use was to get the funding to close Candlestick and open up shop in Santa Clara.
Of course, I'm being subjected to the Ratbirds (as I live near Baltimore), so I'm a de facto member of the Bills Mafia today. They just scored, so it's just in time to see Joe Flaccid become not elite before the half, as is tradition.
Kind of pissed at my wife. Her aunts are extor...er, uh, "pay" for season tickets for the Redskins, and I wanted to go to the game tomorrow night, as I'm a life-long Steeler fan. Oh, well, it's supposed to be an interesting week at work, and I've heard the horror stories about parking in Raljon, so it's just as well as I stay home.

Hey Nate buddy... As you do not give a damn what I have to say read no further, and surely don't bother to respond unless you really care, in a nasty sort of way of course.
I'll feed the troll. Ronnie, the American public's obsession with football is nothing compared to the rest of the world and soccer. Having lived abroad, people end friendships over soccer. You think watching bleks are bad in football. It has nothing on the bleks and Arabs contracted to different soccer teams.
Yes, 2nd year in a row for me. It's great for watching replays, but no live games (you can get radio feeds live though). The condensed view (30 minutes) is great, but it's a much different cadence than you're used to.
The oline assignment for AD is precision work, and they don't get great at it until two or three games in. AD also thrives on less than fresh defenders. He was awful last year on opening day against the trench defenders.
If it weren't for Blair Walsh's continuing adventures in kicking, that would have been a nice, relaxing start to the season. The Titans stacked the box and took away AD, Hill took what he could get, and the defense made things happen.
That's why we say Coach Zimmer is the best the Vikes have had since Bud Grant.
actually, Now I hope both the Dolphins and the Seahawks are forced to sit out the season. Kaepernick's dick-sucking Squad doesn't even deserve to be on the field during the National Anthem.
What's wrong, Spook? Did your wife put her foot down; won't let you go watch your Stillers?
No, we remembered who owns the Redskins and decided it was probably cheaper to go to a game in Pittsburgh. She became a Steeler fan when we first started dating for the simple fact that we both abhor the Ratbirds. I refuse to go to PSINet Stadium for any reason whatsoever, especially when the Steelers come to town.
Bucs won but only looked halfway decent. Maybe there's a halfway decent season ahead... Network kept plugging the atrocious-looking new "Pitch" series of insufferable SJW saccharin propaganda. Another day, another dud.
Horse lost by two...to the Lions! We were up by a point and the secondary is non-existent, thus allowing the Lions to kick a field goal with 4 seconds left! We end up doing some Benny Hill laterals in the end zone at game's end. We have three players injured over the course of the game...ugh...going to be a looong season.

Yep. :) After the Blount fumble I started to expect an Arizona comeback. They earned that win in the first three quarters, but just escaped with it in the fourth.
That's to be expected...he's 15 years younger than Brady. I suspect he won't have the awareness Brady has, though. That comes from preparation & experience.
I don't know if Garoppolo can match up to Brady in the clutch. We might not see enough of him to judge that this season. I don't think the coaching staff expects him to have it, though, or they would have let him take a shot down-field at the end of the first half.
Unrelated to the Patriots - is Revis Island done, or did he just get burned by a top-flight WR?

Screw the Seahawks.

Posted on another thread: but my son's Fantasy team: Dak out for Harambe. He came up with it himself. So proud.
Not bad Bard; has he put a Cowboys jersey on Harambe to complete the meme?
Two rookie QB's starting in the same division who would've guessed.
@2
Ah, a Dolphin fan expecting the inevitable?
@4 Dave - sorry for deleting my comment regarding Hillary. After thinking it over, I thought it was in bad taste.
Need FF Advice - start Foster@Seattle or Hyde hosting the Rams?
Not yet, but I will mention it to him.

I am facing Nate in the ATF Fantasy Football League.
The projected score is 105-99
Let me guess, Nate drafted someone ridiculously high who yahoo is currently underestimating his points by more than 50%.
Gronk is out. Brady is out. NE is travelling coast to coast.

Hey Ronnie where you been? Actually today we have early games, late afternoon games, and a night game; so over 10 hours.
The pre-game shows are unwatchable today. Oh well, I can tune in in half an hour after the National Anthem Clown Show is over and an actual game is in progress.

I'm surprised it took 13 posts
Wentz looks good; ok ok I know its the Browns. TEs playing a major role.
Wentz completes TD pass on the first drive of his NFL career to Mathews who dropped the first pass from Wentz who hit him in the hands. Heh, Cleveland passed on Wentz in the draft.
Titans look so much better in the trenches

Vox should actually be a Redskins fan.
Johnny... Shut the fuck up and go away. If you have on topic stuff to say on other threads... have at it.
No one gives a damn what you say on this one.
Woooo...Titans are in the trenches. LOL!
Yay.. go team! My niggers run faster than your niggers!
Hey... faggot... this is the football thread. The dick sucking threads are over at scalzi's blog.
If you have something relevant to say... say it.
If you want to pick your ass and eat your own shit... take it else.
Marcus Mariota is a surgeon.
Demarco Murray has looked better today than he ever did in a Eagles uniform, Titans are just wearing the Vikings down
What the hell got into the Chargers? They're destroying the Chefs. I really didn't expect that.
Vox should actually be a Redskins fan.
Shouldn't La Raza be protesting the Browns?
yes. there are philly people watching this film going... "ummmm"

Just more proof Chip Kelly is a dumbass.
Sproles is sure glad Kelly is gone.
Hey, VD. Looks like the Vikes are doing what the Bungles won't:

Man I am so glad I am getting the Bengals and the Jets game.
Has anyone tried the NFL Game Pass?
Watching games in under 30 minutes sounds pretty good.

Thanks.
All Day.
As in... stuffed. All day.
Welcome to AD's typical first game of the season.
in AD's defense.. the Oline hasn't done a damn thing
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
Really? Again?
Red zone is only way to watch ball. Hours of nothing but the highlights

Dick Badger what are you bent out of shape about?
Oh the Titans. Providing the Colts with two easy wins a year.
Vikes 25, Titans 16. Does this mean Vox wins the inflation debate?
Texans did not do too badly. Seeing some plays in the offense not seen in years past.
Cowboys vs. Giants
An Egg Bowl in the NFL.
Prescott doing well. I may start liking the cowboys a little.

You can also get Red Zone free over the net with the NFL Mobile app.
Redzone is NFL Ecstasy.
"The Titans stacked the box and took away AD, Hill took what he could get, and the defense made things happen."
Yes yes... like... making Mariota drop the ball... by what? Looking at him?
or biting on a play action... only through pure luck to find the QB actually throwing a ball right to you?
Please.
The Vikings were terrible today. The titans were just 2 SD more terrible.

C'mon man. This is the revamped Titans. Could go 4-12 this year.
Buck up.
Patriots pull it out. It would be so interesting if they are 4-0 when Brady is allowed to show his cheatin' face again.
Garoppolo is mobile, Brady not.
