Mailvox: Doctor Feelgood Fake News

CGS wonders if perhaps the Fake News is preventing an even greater incidence of psychological breakdowns among the heavily medicated SJW community:
While browsing the CNN headlines and seeing this line-up of five articles about polls negatively reflecting on Trump, I contemplated the amygdala soothing that this must provide to a substantial portion of the population. If it weren't for the constant false reminder that they aren't alone, there is a  substantial portion of the population that would find themselves under constant anxiety and tension of realizing just how isolated and fragile their situation really is.

Especially the middle class liberal who isn't as well protected from the ghetto democrats as the upper class liberals are. If they were ever to realize how many people are indifferent to support of Trump they would realize just how tenuous their situation is stuck between the ghetto and flyover land... and knowing deep down the gates to upper class liberal town would be closed in the event of a civil breakdown.

In a way CNN's lies are probably providing a tenuous glue keeping the liberal amygdala from meltdown which is indirectly helping maintain the peace we currently have. I know that working in a converged industry, city, and company... that even the slightest hint of disregard for their feelings or even outright support for Trump would be enough to bring the social condition to a standstill. I can't imagine the amount of "sick leave" that we'd start seeing if CNN started reporting the accurate social shift.
Rabbits are incredibly fragile to feeling outgrouped, which of course is why they always run to that tactic whenever they are attacking us. SJW Law #3: SJWs Always Project. So trigger those fragile, shrunken amygdalas, my friends. TRIGGER THEM.

The Daily Meme Wars are a good place to start if you're not sure how.

Here's where dialectic can be useful (for those too squeamish to use rhetoric on rabbits): just drop a hatefact about Trump's popularity/support from normal Americans... and walk away. No debate, no argument, no vain attempt to convince, just state a fact or statistic and leave. N.B. The leaving is as important as the statement because it demonstrates that You. Don't. Care. What a lonely isolated rabbit thinks far more than your words ever could. Watch the triggering from a distance.

The recent ABC/Washington Post poll oversampled democrats by +12%. Rush Limbaugh brought this up yesterday.

But this can only go on so long. Bourgeois whites will edit reality to reinforce their narrative. Being foreign sounding English in England I have been asked my position on a particular local topic and then told I couldn't have that position because I cannot vote(!).

I wonder whether beta libtards will quietly change allegiance or whether they will flip and wish to eradicate witnesses of their former SJW religion or will they collapse into depression and suicide.

Blogger Duke Norfolk July 18, 2017 8:11 AM

Yes. The fake polls have always been partly about assuaging the fragile minds of the left, regardless of the fact that it harms their cause in the end.

They are all about denying reality. That can "work" in the short run, but will fail spectacularly in the end. The biggest thing they have going for them is the stream of fiat money being pumped out, keeping the economy afloat; for now.

Blogger ZhukovG July 18, 2017 8:14 AM

It is a double edged sword. Intended to 'buck up' the Globalist Left, while also discouraging 'Les Déplorables'.

Blogger tuberman July 18, 2017 8:31 AM

The polls are humorous, as they are not only packed with a +10 to 15% democrats, the samples are usually taken in heavy globalist areas. They are also phone polls which has it's own bias.

The truth (or hate fact) is that according to the 2016 election, the Right should be sampled at a +12 to 15% in the areas that won the election.

There are apps that track election trends that have PDJT at around 65% average now in most areas he won in the election.

Anonymous Right Thinking July 18, 2017 8:32 AM

Man....this looks a lot like a desperate ploy. Plus, the right never wins the meme war as long as Trump is in office. No meme can carry the day as long as Trump keeps overriding them with failure.

Before the election, they had various rationales for oversampling Democrats as much as they did, and I'm sure they have rationales that make perfect sense to them this time. But it all really boils down to them sitting in their blue, urban bubbles and thinking, "Man, there can't be that many Trump supporters. There just can't be. I never run into them at Whole Foods!" And so they adjust things, completely sure that they're making their numbers better.

And of course, some are just lying.

Often I'm caught by surprise by God Emperor's Team effectiveness. I was not surprised by the Poland visit, which was a revival of the Three Seas Initiative to cut the whole Baltic region away from EU "immigrant" influence and more. Yet I was skeptical of Macron sidling up to PDJT at the G20.

When Trump went back to France for the Bastile Day celebration at Macron's request, it grabbed my attention. It turns out that Macron loves STEM/Tech stuff and is highly trained in those areas, and he did not enjoy being treated as irrelevant at the G20 by everyone except Trump. He wants hitech stuff for France, and relevance, and PDJT is the best option to get those thing for him. Ha!

Germany and Brussels will soon see the consequences.

I think you're getting it backwards. They "love" minorities because they self-identify with the concept of being a persecuted minority. And love is in quotations for a reason.

To put it in another way, being outgrouped is so taboo that they identify with those they believe are outgrouped rather than with their own family, religion, nation. But it's still a fear, and they're running away from it as quick as their subconscious allows.

Blogger David Power July 18, 2017 11:08 AM

"perhaps the Fake News is preventing an even greater incidence of psychological breakdowns among the heavily medicated SJW community:

Once you understand that Leftism, is essentially female pathology in political form, you'll also understand why, like women, SJWs have a greater incidence of psychological breakdowns and are far more likely to be in need of anti-depression medication.

Moreover, this also explains why most game techniques, such as Agree and Amplify" etc. are also very effective when dealing with SJWs and Leftists in general.

For instance... Instead of using logic to argue against the LGBTQ screechers, agree and amplify by insisting on referring to them as the "LGBTQN" Community. (After all, why should the Necrophiliacs all ways have their story buried?)

Which got me thinking... What would a "Flipping the Script" gambit look like when used against, say, CNN? What would it look like if every bogus narrative building technique they use to attack and discredit their political opponents, was turned back and used against them?

Like this perhaps:

Breaking News:

Pressure continues to mount on the controversial news organisation 'CNN' to recuse itself from further political commentary.

In a poll due out next week, 87% of the American public say they no longer trust CNN to present news in an evenhanded manner.

"CNN is now more a Left-wing pressure group than a legitimate news broadcaster" - said one industry insider.

Another media expert said; "False Headlines, Fake Stories, Faux Polls and a Fatuous Left-Wing Narrative, are now the standard M.O. at CNN".

A source close to the failing organisation added; "CNN still fails to accept that the rise of so many non-partisan on-line news sites, means that the public can now see their selective reporting, their phoney polls, their "anonymous" sources and their loaded panel shows, for what they are - Fake News".

With ratings in free fall, and it's reputation now in tatters, it is rumoured that the troubled news organisation is planning to "axe several of its current news anchors" and "reduce backroom staff to the bare minimum".

As of yet, no Representative of the embattled broadcaster has been available for comment.

They'd lose it if they knew how much the country loves Trump. This is like the CIA and the Bay of Pigs. They didn't realize what support Castro had. Similarly, the Left doesn't realize how much support Trump has. They futhermore do not get that we. don't. care.

That's just the thing. Very often, progs ARE the outcasts of their own families, and sometimes even their entire towns. This helps explain why they tend to pile up in the big cities.

I suspect this to be the cause of the trend in childless rulers in Europe, as well. It's been naked in its antidemocratic colors, why would anyone assume the elections are on the up and up?

Blogger DaDZ July 18, 2017 1:33 PM

I've been considering this possibility for the last couple of months. I'm employed as a contractor at a large government facility in a VERY liberal city. This is a Double Whammy of shitlibbery, as the government workforce is among the most highly converged and the city is SWPL Central.

There is a small minority of right thinkers here, and what we've all noticed is a conspicuous absence of the portraits of president Trump and VP Pence at any of the buildings/facilities here. I think if those portraits were hung there would be an explosion of moral outrage among the government cogs toward management for suggesting there was even a miniscule level of support for our president within the ranks of government.

Tenuous is right. The tension is palpable. It's like as long as Trump's name is not spoken and everyone just pretends Barry is still boss than the status quo can be maintained.

Britain has a history of serious election fraud and civil wars due to Parliamentary shenanigans. They've put in place real, auditable safeguards that prevent any significant cheating. I can't speak to other countries, except we KNOW Austria has fake elections.

An emerging threat in my assessment is the "muh centrism" crowd. You know the types, the ones who judge tactics instead of objectives. The ones who think everyone is a hypocrite except them. The ones who hold up "both sides are bad" as the epitome of intellectual rigor.

They instinctively move to protect the feelings of the poor little rabbits when the rabbits start to get a taste of their own medicine. They will passionately (and persuasively) argue that it's noble to push back against the left but not with any weapons that might actually be effective.

I'm not sure if they're aware on some level that what they propose can only lead to being overrun by the little fur balls. I do know that it takes personal injury for them to wake up to the futility of their approach, which unfortunately rarely happens when they live isolated Internet ivory tower lives.

I usually stick to ignoring or insulting them. Anyone have other ideas?

I think that's about all you can do, but it's enough. Embarrassment would work well on them, but in their minds, they never take a position that could lead to that. They're convinced, by definition, that they don't help either side do anything bad, so they're detached from the results. Even when objectively their position aids the left, they don't see it that way, so you can't make them feel shame for the consequences.

The good thing is that they're irrelevant unless you accept their tone-policing. Their only power comes from other people wanting their approval. Conservatives were susceptible to their preaching because conservatives cared as much as they do about appearances and being seen as reasonable. If you respond to their, "Gosh, that sounds kind of harsh," with, "Oh yeah? Then try this on for size, loser," they're done. Ignore them, or insult them so they'll leave you alone, and they don't matter.

Have you tried calling them cucks yet?

Blogger Student in Blue July 18, 2017 3:57 PM

In retrospect, "progressive" is a subset of worthless. There are worthless people who don't cling to progressivism, but the only possible progressive who isn't worthless is someone who really isn't a progressive all things considered.

The same should hold true for causal relations. A kid who grows up prog and accepts it will be inevitably worthless, since it's completely at odds with reality. A kid who grows up worthless but with no direct prog teaching can still become prog thanks to the inculcation of modern "culture", and they're far more likely to accept it if they're worthless than if they're upright.

@33. S. Misanthrope

A suggestion tossed around a while ago was to rightfully, and rhetorically, call them "bystanders". Haven't tried that tack myself so I can't vouch for its effectiveness.

Bystanders could work. "Innocent bystanders" might have more punch, as it implies personal injury. "Political collateral damage" might hit harder, as in "how long are you willing to be political collateral damage?"

Pacifists would sting in more conservative circles.

I prefer to hit them in the ego. Deny their safe spot.
"Why do you hate Americans?"
"Jewish concentration camp guard"
"Giving political cover to the worst totalitarians in American History"

The person who supports corporate tax cuts but no personal tax cuts, a stricter immigration policy and supports the right to abortion sits in the middle of the American political spectrum. And it's an equally legitimate position to the far right and the leftists. They are also far more likely to form consensus an move to a more prosperous economy and social order.

You can't get a Republican nomination in most of the US without being rabidly anti-abortion.  The mass of the voters want the issue left alone, but the R's have to play to the extremes to be able to run.

The abortion issue has been the red herring keeping us from dealing with the immigration problem and the Black problem.  It's been the thing that's kept actual serious statesmen out and GOP hacks in.
