"Equality" means the girls must win

AD relates a tale of competition, such as it is:
Last year, my homeschooled son participated in a team puzzle-solving competition at the local college.  He had a blast, and when the alert came out for the event this year, he was the first to sign up.  My daughter wasn't old enough last year, but was the second person to sign up this year.

The woman running the groups this year contacted my wife last night to inform her that my son had been cut from the team.  "Why?"

The woman admitted that my son had done quite well last year, had not upset or annoyed anyone, contributed heavily, and was definitely an asset to the team.  After quite a bit of beating around the bush, the woman finally admitted that the rest of the team was entirely female and she was afraid that they "might feel uncomfortable with one boy in the group."

"So, you're telling me that you cut my son from the team solely because he is MALE?"

"Um...well...er...yes, I guess."

The punch line...the woman asked if my daughter would mind being the only girl on an otherwise all-male team.

The woman delayed talking to us (due to "bad email address, sorry") until it was far too late to form a team of our own.

My son quit on the spot, knowing he was not welcome.  My daughter immediately quit in solidarity with her brother.  Both are looking forward to next year, when they form their own separate homeschoolers team and get even for the insult.
That's the spirit. And this is an example of why no man should ever be chivalrous in competition with women. Crush the opposite sex without mercy every time they dare to step foot on a level playing field. Because far too few of them have any intention of playing fair with men and boys.

I've mentioned before that when I coached a boy's soccer team, we once played in a tournament against all-girls team that was blatantly favored by the referee, so much so that my players were being called for their fouls and even had a goal disallowed for a nonexistent foul AFTER the goal was scored. And this was after I'd taken out all my starters since we were up 3-0.

So, I taught the opposing coach, the referee, and my boys a lesson by putting all of the starters back in and telling them to score at will. I don't remember what the final score was, but it was in the teens and the girls never even came close to scoring. The boys were brutally unmerciful; both the starters and the subs were furious and each unnecessary goal was cheered as if  it was the winning one. The lesson was this: those who don't play fair don't merit any sporting mercy.

I don't have any objection to genuinely gifted girls who really need to play with the boys in order to fully develop their skills. My favorite player on one of Ender's teams a few years ago is now a junior international and will probably be called up to the women's national team within the next two years. But in 42 years of playing soccer, she is the only girl I ever met who merited that sort of accommodation.

Anyhow, I hope the reader's homeschooled team goes in and crushes the competition, particularly the team that wouldn't have him.

Notable that the reason was that someone, somewhere, "might" feel uncomfortable.

There are always those who will try and use the exception as proof that the rule does not exist, and they should be soundly rebuffed.

How about this. A while back a friend was showing me some photos of the play put on at his young son's school (a cut down version for 9 year olds) where the story has a male lead and a heroine. The school was mixed (I mean boys and girls). In the spirit of equality both the heroine and the male lead were taken by girls the men playing the yahooing smaller roles. My friend was too much of a mangina to complain.

The U of Minnesota women's basketball team practices against a volunteer men's team. The point is for the women to play against opponents who are bigger, stronger and faster. Now these guys aren't all 6'8". They're guys who played in high school but didn't have what it takes to play in college. But by practicing against better opponents, the gals are forced to improve their game.

Very much reminds me of Rhonda Rousey. Everyone was talking about how untouchable she was and how she would be able to beat any of the men in the UFC. Yeah, not so much. I'm glad you gave those boys a good lesson in complete lack of mercy for men who want to favor girls.

I saw an article a few years ago that pointed out that it was obvious that Riggs didn't want to win. When he was facing Margaret Court, he worked hard to be in shape and in good form. But in the months leading up to the match with BJK, he really didn't practice much at all. The article suggested that there was some sort of Mob involvement as Riggs owed money.

Riggs had wiped out Court. King wasn't that much better; he should have taken King in straight sets.

Anonymous Prayers answered for the Trumpslide December 15, 2017 9:10 AM

@ 15, I remember reading that not too long ago, Billy Jean King all but admitted that Bobby Riggs threw the match with her. She always talked about how much she liked Riggs and thought the world of him.

Blogger Jew613 December 15, 2017 9:19 AM

Gordon, the whole truth finally came out a few years ago. Bobby Riggs owed the Florida based Trafficante money from gambling debts. Money he could never hope to repay. In exchange for throwing the match Riggs debt was cleared and he was played 100,000. By knowing the outcome the money made a fortune through the gambling they controlled. I've watched the match and I don't think Billie Jean King was in on it. She's playing her heart out and Riggs is playing to the cheap seats in the next theater over. But to this day the feminists still bring it up as a great female victory.

"Crush the opposite sex without mercy every time they dare to step foot on a level playing field. Because far too few of them have any intention of playing fair with men and boys."

Indeed. I wrestled in high school in the 1980s and apparently graduated just a year or two before they started letting girls wrestle on the boys team (thank goodness). From what I heard it was a nightmare at first. Boys would forfeit a match against a girl or go in with kid gloves out of natural desire not to hurt a woman. Friend of mine who was more in touch with my school's wrestling program at the time told me that there was a girl who was supposedly "making a name for herself" as a great wrestler mainly because of the above. Finally a coach who couldn't take it anymore told one of his boys who had a scheduled match with her to make her quit and insisted over his objections, so he went out intending to make her suffer. She left the mat in tears after the first period and quit wrestling altogether. If that's not a heartwarming story, I don't know what is.

Blogger JaimeInTexas December 15, 2017 9:24 AM

A couple of my son's played indoor soccer. They hated playing against girl teams ... dirty players. The only way the girls could gain on any play.

In Houston, the Livestock and Rodeo is huge. Some years ago she entered an arts competition for K-12 students, with grade categories. Home schoolers were allowed to compete. At some point we learned that home schoolers were not allowed to win any position that includes scholarships. You see, home schooling families were too rich and did not need the college money. We were shocked. What a crock and a lie. We stopped supporting Houston's Rodeo.

Anonymous Cindy December 15, 2017 9:33 AM

It's not just men and boys they do that to. They also cheat, lie, and change rules to exclude women who stand above the rest. Back when I had a blog, I got nominated for some blog award, which is not very important or hard to do, but I thought it was kinda nice, since nominations were reader-submitted. The awards were female-run and the blogs were primarily female-written. The first year, I won some category or other, then was nominated in several categories the next year also. I didn't care very much for the actual awards, but it sure was sweet to know at least somebody cared. When prize time came, they told me I couldn't win my strongest category because I'd already won the year before. I honestly can't remember if they decided this before I won again, or if it was after they saw the score racking up that they decided to change the rules. It's been awhile, and it was stupid anyway, so the details have become fuzzy, but I'm pretty sure what happened was that they left my name in the weak categories (I'm funny, but I was not writing a humor blog, and in fact I often made people pretty angry, so "humor" wadwas obviously not going to work for me) making me look like I was actually quite the loser. I only really recall that it was strange to me in some way. I knew I was getting shafted somewhere because the competition was not much to sneeze at. Anyhow, when I asked about whatever oddities I had noticed, the woman in charge told me it was somebody else's turn to win, so my votes didn't count. That was an eye-opener for me. I thought this was a friendly competition. Who wants to win something only because the actual best person was disqualified for being the best? Women, that's who. Those few of us on the right tail of the curve always end up excluded because women would rather have a dishonesty victory than an honorable defeat.

I wish this homeschool family victory--true, earned victory--next time. Crush those...er...ladies.

I remember a rugby match where a player from one of the women's teams insisted on taking the pitch with the men. It wasn't a league game for us, so somehow she got out there. No one wanted her in the mix. Lots of "girl power" yelling from the women on the sidelines. Within a couple of minutes, she was on the ground with a serious leg injury. I remember her lesbian partner was running around yelling, "what did you do! what did you do!" while a man carried her off the pitch.

When I took the cops test in Vegas years ago, the men had to run at worst an 11 minute mile and a half, while the women had 14 minutes. One candidate, overweight significantly, began crying on the track as she approached the 17 minute mark, and everyone else had finished. All the female candidates began cheering her on, I just shook my head; not to be a dick but wondering to myself "what are you doing here?"....Plus, we had to do 30 push ups in a minute and 60 sixty sit ups, while their regiment was half that. Plus they got to do girl push ups.
Even at my MMA school,it was mixed, when I sparred the higher level females, (the higher ups wanted it that way) I never held back. Why should I?

From Robert B. Parker's Blue Screen, #5 of 7 Sunny Randall (female private detective) novels (which he wrote as a favor to an actress friend, to give her a movie part), chapter 51. Woman body builder and movie star Erin Flint (who spends her time on screen beating up men) wants to play big-league baseball, encouraged by her manager and movie producer, who has bought a major league team. Her manager hires some people to train her. This is what happens when they stop pitching her soft balls, and try giving her what she'll actually get if she is put on the major league team.

Pitch. Swing. Miss.
"This is awful," I said to Jesse [Stone, local police chief and former baseball pro, another of Parker's protagonists].
"Hard game," he said. "It's one of the things about sports. It's clean. Either you can do it or you can't."
"Not just sports," I said.
"No, a lot of skill things. Ballet. Singing. Whatever. You may get further than your talent allows because somebody like Buddy comes along and packages you and sneaks you around the hurdles. But you still can't
do it. Things have their rules." …
Erin swung and missed and threw the bat away and began to cry. The rest of us in the gym seemed to freeze. The pitcher and catcher were motionless.
"Oh God," I whispered to Jesse.
"I can't hit it," Erin said, crying. I can't hit it. I can't fucking hit it."
Linden's voice was gentle, but the gym was so still that it carried.
He said, "No, Erin. You can't."

All this cheating to let the girls win isn't really doing the girls any favors; in their hearts they know it only proves they don't actually measure up — where they don't belong anyway. It's like feeding them a slow acting poison.

A buddy of mine was a high school soccer player of almost All Conference level. Went away to a school that did not have a boys soccer program but did have a girls one. He volunteered to help out with the girls practices (can't remember if the coach asked him or if he straight volunteered).

The coach told him to always play his hardest no matter what.

He has numerous stories of complete and total domination of drills, scrimmages, and such.

One great one was when they were playing a scrimmage and the margin of victory determined the amount of running the losers had to do. But, the other guy helper was gone that day, so his team was the only one with a guy on it. He said the death stares he was getting from the girls on the losing team when he booted in his eighth goal were priceless.

"All this cheating to let the girls win..."

An "enabling cocoon," I think Audacious Epigone termed.

This applies to homosexuals, trannies, blacks, browns, frankly EVERY ONE of the Equalist-Left's perennial tail-end-Charlies.

It is NOT HELPING PEOPLE to let them indulge their mental fantasies instead of living in the Real World. When Bathhouse Gays are miserable, "giving" them same-sex "marriage" won't make them happy; all it does is enable them the more. Their misery is embedded by their past behavior; they're F'd already, but "we have to give them what they want, social acceptance," because somehow it will wipe away their existential misery.

Hah!

The same for women and everyone else. There is Reality and everything else is FANTASY. Indulging in fantasy is the textbook definition of mental illness. Giving in to impulsive belief in fantasy invariably leads to misery, not happiness. It is Spooner's definition of a VICE, a self-harming mistake people make in the expectation of happiness, but that instead produces misery.

But we live in an Age when Insanity and Vice have been raised to holy sacraments, all because "we" can't be mean and tell people who are already screwed that...they're already screwed. In the meantime, tens of millions of young people are told that F-ing up their lives forever is somehow "LIBERATED."

So the cycle continues. (headdesk.)

I believe that behavior is genetically coded.

Height is genetically coded, but only under conditions of adequate nutrition are the genes allowed to be fully-expressed.

Today's Plenitude, a lingering product of conditions established centuries ago and that were systematically dismantled these past 50 years, allowed a host of social behaviors to be expressed that, under a different set of conditions, would never be seen.

Just as a Debt Jubilee can't undo the indescribably vast misallocation of resources that grew up under the borrow-to-spend regime of the last 36 years, the consequences being embedded by Equalist-Cultists these past 50 years simply accumulate.

It takes a very long time to so cripple the structure that produced our Plenitude that the reality of its destruction is finally visible.

Some of us see it without effort. Others can't see if even if it's beating them over the head. The latter will eventually be de-selected by Nature herself.

We still live in the world "as it is," not as our State Established Religion of Equalism would have us believe "ought to be."

I was the sole female member of a powerlifting team, invited to join after the men saw me lifting some appreciable weight at the Canada Games gym. There were no women's teams, because very few women are interested in powerlifting, so it was generous of them to extend an invitation to train with them.

I was respectful of the men, followed directions, and had no illusions about where I stood in relation to my teammates. Given the brute reality of strength, there's just no way for a woman to overestimate her athletic ability in that sport.

Review of Star Wars: The Last Jedi
When Leia told Han he was the only one who could save their son in The Force Awakens, he knew her game. He went anyway knowingly to his death because he was done with the state of the galaxy after the women had been in charge for 30 years.

He wasn't the only one. The only other competent person in the galaxy, Luke Skywalker Galted Out himself - becoming a hermit on the most difficult place in the galaxy.

In the meantime, the Rebels have been led by women, who also are driving the car, poorly.

This movie is comprised entirely of women driving their car around - literally as well as metaphorically - aimlessly, until they nearly run out of gas. And when they finally get to their destination, they end up crashing it anyway.

All the women throw themselves at all the men, who are all players anyway. The hyped Asian sexually assaults her co-worker in the workplace with an unsolicited act without any positive consent. Our Jedi Master Luke literally grabs a pair of breasts without any consequence and tells his young female intern, that's the way it works. And the dashing hero, having undercut his female superiors every possible chance leaves them wet and swooning after he takes charge from the feckless women.

Even gamma millennial Kylo Ren compels Rey to come to him, after shirtlessly stalking her mind and vision.

In a completely pointless side diversion, the diversity club manages to crash Star Wars' version of the Hollywood liberal elite #Pedogate

The only clear Hispanic role is a greasy and shifty perp.

Finally by the end, Mark Hamill's had enough of Disney's converged bullshit and purposely checks out himself so he never has to come back.

The only people with any grain of common sense on either side appear to be experienced white male hardened soldiers. A lot of minorities and women cosplaying dress up soldier get utterly crushed.

Even still, disliked it more than The Force Awakens.

It is NOT HELPING PEOPLE to let them indulge their mental fantasies instead of living in the Real World.

Indeed. Just as laws in Europe and Canada prohibiting questioning the "Holocaust" are sufficient proof alone that it must be a hoax, so Affirmative Action demonstrates conclusively that the classes it purports to help (because they need that help to compete) really are inferior. I was raised to believe otherwise, but have been convinced by 50 years of simple observation of the truth of traditional views of women and "people of color". But then, I'm a cishet White male, as I'd guess you are too. It's always been a priority for me to be polite and considerate of others – especially those weaker than I in one way or another – but my patience is eroding.

And meanwhile, the Ruling Elite are ROTFL at how the inferior classes are so cooperatively confirming their inferiority by buying into this insanity.

The latter will eventually be de-selected by Nature herself.

Ironic that that same Nature is the very Goddess the feminists want us to worship. The truth is, women are even more slaves to Her than are men. That is the real reason they envy men, though practically none of them know it.

Reality bats last.

And even then, they had to drag Bobby Riggs out of retirement, 20+ years past his prime, to play against Billie King, who was then the #1 woman's player.... AND further handicap Riggs by allowing King to hit into the double's court "alleys" as in....for the results to even be credible enough that Riggs hadn't been paid, behind the scenes, to lose.

Would have been interesting to see the score of a straight-up match... Wonder how badly he would have mauled her in a fair game.

@58 Philalethes, guilt as charged, I'm a normal man (I won't qualify that otherwise, since I consider cis het blah blah blah to be the enemy's frame.)

I have the "privilege" of being among the CAN's. I CAN do lots of things fairly well. Other things I can't do well, and I don't care about it. Yeah, I wish I was smarter. Boo-Hoo for me.

Derision is all I feel toward those who whine and cry about what they CAN'T do, insisting they be coddled and given head-starts and extra points for "fairness." Their weakness has nothing to do with muscle. They are weak in their minds, in their souls. Such weakness is disgusting.

Nature does not love weakness. The modern penchant for elevating weakness itself to a sacrament of this absurd State Religion is an assault on Nature itself, a war on Truth and Reason and Reality.

Reality. Always. Wins.

Blogger dc.sunsets December 15, 2017 12:09 PM

Winners act with the long-run in mind, invest in themselves, get married to good people, form partnerships characterized by complementary behavior and role-assumption, and raise kids to do the same. Winners constantly re-baseline to insure their actions are aligned with "what is," not with some absurd fantasy of "what ought to be."

Losers (and all we read about and see in "da nuze" are losers) will be utterly forgotten in 50 or 80 years. No one will even know their names, unless they achieve infamy somehow. (Admittedly, this makes losers dangerous. Treat losers like rabid dogs.)

Women who insist on contests with men in manly endeavors are losers because they CHOOSE to meet men on men's plane. It's the same as Men insisting that a trip to Thailand for SRS will make them able to bear and suckle children. Losers all.

That story of the final score being in the teens brought a smile to my face. I must be evil, heh.

Some Guy wrote:Very much reminds me of Rhonda Rousey. Everyone was talking about how untouchable she was and how she would be able to beat any of the men in the UFC. Yeah, not so much. I'm glad you gave those boys a good lesson in complete lack of mercy for men who want to favor girls.

That was one of the happier days of my life. I woke up during a hunting trip and checked the news: she had been roundhouse kicked into oblivion.

marco moltisanti wrote:"Crush the opposite sex without mercy every time they dare to step foot on a level playing field.

@19 It is very heartwarming.

@45.  Stickwick (and Critically Bent)

Philalethes, I have the exact same problem on my Mac. I use Firefox or my Android phone to comment.

Thanks for the corroboration.

I just tried Firefox; like I said it deleted the comment rather than preview it. Usually Chrome or Brave work, though they don't show the whole of the verification panel, so I have to guess what they want. A few days ago I couldn't comment with any browser on the Mac. (Well, I only tried five, but that was enough.)

I don't like Apple much either — it's a far cry from what it was 30 years ago when I got my first Mac – but what's the alternative? Windows gives me the creeps. I've toyed with the idea of switching to Linux, but this article has given me pause: if the Panopticon is literally built into the kernel, what's the difference from MacOS, other than being significantly harder to use and lacking in the software I've gotten very accustomed to (muscle memory and all that) over the last 15 years?

As for Android, well, it's Google, whom I like and trust even less than Apple or Microsoft. There have been attempts to create an open-source mobile OS; a couple are still valiantly working at it, but Ubuntu gave up their effort (the only one that could have actually gone anywhere in terms of number of users) due to lack of market interest.

Btw, Stickwick, always nice to see you here. I too "genuinely like women" (though I have little else in common with Nicholson) — especially intelligent women who use their intelligence to be the best they can be without trying to prove something by "besting" men. Integrity of character is the most admirable attribute in any person, male or female.

Regarding the bridle, see Cato the Elder's famous speech against equality for women.

As for the whip, as Nietzsche said: "“You go to women? Do not forget the whip!”

Philalethes, the OS options are few and not great, as far as I'm concerned. I was totally Linux-based for a while, but got tired of the limited software. Windows, just no. So, Mac it is, at least for now.

WRT the opposite sex, I feel the same way you do, only about men. I love men and masculinity, and find it very comforting to be around them. There's no point competing with men. It's way more fun to fit in and relish the acceptance.

(P.S. This I'm-not-a-robot frustration is compounded by not knowing exactly how picky this stupid thing is. "Click on all the squares that have street signs." In high school we had an intramural sport called “three line football.” The rules aren’t really that important other than to note that there were three players on each side and it was played in a gymnasium. In my senior year, two of my buddies and I decided to get slaughtered by the real football players while having a few laughs, so we named ourselves The Hosebags and filed our paperwork to join the tournament.

Admittedly, our form was turned in a bit late. And certainly, Coach Hart hated one of the guys on my team. But rather than denying our application, he apparently decided to teach us another lesson: he put us in the girls’ league. I suspect he thought we would quit in shame.

Now, I was a sissy –CC-> boy; my teammates weren’t athletes unless chain smoking is a sport. Still, we plowed through the early tournament with little effort. But trouble was coming our way…

There was a team in the other bracket we called Team Amazon, made up of three girls who had played multiple ball-control sport together since grade school. They would lead our girls BB team to state that year and their college to the volleyball nationals a few years later. They were equally dominating their opponents, and it quickly became obvious that we were going to face them in the finals.

Now, there would have been no shame in three non-football-playing guys dropping a game of football to… Aw, hell no, that wasn’t going to happen. The Hosebags took the floor and the game – they never even scored on us.

Then Coach Hart handed them the trophy. They are the champions, my friends.

Lesson learned.

I guess there have been girls leagues and boys leagues in many sports for generations. We did not have a problem in this country.

I remember when they decided that girls could play on boys teams in Little League baseball. They came out with all kinds of ridiculous devices to deliberately handicap the best boy players. The opposing team (!) had the ability to identify the best boys to be thus handicapped. Usually it meant, having the boy bat wrong handed. I suggested it might be better to require him to play on his knees or maybe tie his shoelaces together. It was not an achievement. It was degrading, humiliating, and lacked dignity. There was nothing sportsmanlike about any of it. The idea was to lower the performance of the game so that girls could swim in those waters. I was completely opposed at the time and I still am.

If the girls want to play lumberjack, they need to be able to handle their end of the log.

I recall the stupid parents in Maryland who sued the local high school to allow their daughter to be allowed to play on the football team. After multiple appeals they finally found a judge to so order it. The first day on the PRACTICE field, she got all banged up and ended up in the hospital. Then her same stupid parents sued the high school for NOT warning their daughter about how violent football might be!

Now it has become even more ridiculous, with male players making the switch to female leagues, claiming to be transgendered and they are stomping some heads in. No doubt they will move quickly to stop this, but they would never keep girls from doing the same thing and playing on boys teams.

Vox is entirely correct.

@79: Nate

Such a match actually happened. Karsten Braasch, a German tennis ranked 203 at the time, took up the Williams sister up on their challenge when they bragged they could beat a man ranked around 200 in the world. Each of the sisters played one set against Braasch. Braasch won 6:1 and 6:2 respectively.

"According to witnesses of these two matches, Braasch almost seemed to hold his punches. The applicant confirmed, with a mocking laugh: “I don't think that they can ever beat a player in the top 500, because today I played like a guy ranked 600th”."

Average height White men in USA: 5′10″. Average height females: 5′5″. To make women "equal", simply cut men off at the knees. Which they've been doing, very effectively, for a century or so – and decisively for the last 50 years.

Girls competing against girls keeps them mediocre, conceited, and over-confidant, even if they are good enough to always win (against girls).

Some events had the men and women start at the same time and the guys showed zero mercy for women that slowed them down (you want to be number one AND be chivalrous when seconds count?). One guy yanked a woman by her ankle in the swim event. She remarked she knew it was a guy because of the strength used.

How did the woman wind up with an all girl team? She willed it. She cheated to get it. I strongly, strongly suspect the claim that all the girls on this team objected to the boy. That is almost certainly a manipulation. Or, if they really had this objection then I bet they were led by the nose to it.

This evil woman proved her mendacity in spades when she asked about the daughter being the only girl on a team.

She’s a lying manipulator playing games. Women like this are poison.

If you are on a laptop/desktop with mouse support (e.g., not a touchscreen-only) platform, you can use the text-select function to move up and down within the verification panel, to see what it's looking for. Just hold the select button down whilst scrolling up to see the text at the top of the panel, then reverse to go back down and see the next/confirm button.

There are some blogs where the reCaptcha panel actually has a scroll bar on the right side of the panel, making it easier to view up/down. Perhaps the site admin here would be able to add that?
