Europe rising

It may surprise many Americans, but the younger generation of Europeans is not necessarily as inclined to surrender as the Refugees Welcome signs might lead one to believe. You never see the media reporting on events like this... from 2012. This is why it should be no surprise that it is Poland that is leading the nationalist charge against the EU and the globalists. Notice in particular the flags that are being waved; this is exactly how the cultural war against the civic nationalists, melting pottists, and multiculturalists should be fought.

Do you remember when, when the Nazis forced their rule on Poland
1939 and the allies turned away
From the underground rose a hope of freedom as a whisper
City in despair, but they never lost their faith

Women, men and children fight
They were dying side by side
And the blood they shed upon the streets
Was a sacrifice willingly paid

Warsaw city at war
Voices from underground, whispers of freedom
1944 help that never came
Calling Warsaw city at war
Voices from underground, whispers of freedom
Rise up and hear the call
History calling to you, 'Warszawo, walcz!'

Spirit soul and heart
In accordance with the old traditions
1944 still the allies turn away
Fighting street to street
In a time of hope and desperation

They even give brief history lessons in the middle of their concerts. And they know who they are rising up against now.

They even sing a long listed about the art of war by nuke records, impressed.

So glad the rightwingers (PiS (Law & Justice)) are back in charge. The Polish lefties (PO (Civic Platform)) did their best for 5 years to try to ruin Poland.

Blogger Dave W. December 11, 2017 5:41 PM

The Polish rightwingers actually know what it's like to live under communism and had to fight for their freedom. The new Polish prime minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, started young:

At the age of 12, Morawiecki was already active in the Polish anti-communist opposition, becoming involved in the process of illegal duplication of political pamphlets. In August 1980 he plastered the poster edition of the "Lower Silesia Bulletin" all over the streets of Wrocław. The print contained a list of the Gdansk Demands as well as a call for a general strike in support of the protests on the northern coast. After martial law was announced, he became a printer and distributor of underground Solidarity magazines. Despite repeated arrests and beatings by the secret police (SB), he continued participating in political demonstrations until the late 1980’s. He was the editor of the "Lower Silesia Bulletin" and an activist of the Independent Students' Association. In 1988 and 1989 he participated in a occupational strike at the University of Wroclaw. He was one of the organizers of the Club for Political Thought "Free and Solidary.

Oi Sabaton! Awesome band, awesome crowd. One of the best.

As another example for the international audience I can show 2 clips.

1st. from a concert in Croatia in 2007.:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idSFDeUcVKc

Video has english captions, so everyone be sure to check out the lyrics, pretty nationalistic. Quite nationalistic. Notice the full stadium, young people in front on the grass.

Second example, same band, but 2015. Even younger crowd. More flags, more intense.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u56OusNnEFU

Yep. Some people are still normal in this world. All the local liberal triggering whenever this guy has a concert is just a bonus.

(this post isn't here to somehow try to top the Vox's music example, I am just using the perfect and rare opportunity to expand on the subject.)

I've been told that Sabaton's concerts are top-shelf all the time. They're my current #1 for gaming music. Particularly partial to 'Screaming Eagles' and 'The Lost Battalion', but their most popular is '40:1' (also about Poland).

Blogger dc.sunsets December 11, 2017 5:56 PM

I always remember that those who strike back against the invaders will hardly publicize their actions.

The news doesn’t reflect what's really happening, especially at this stage where politics lags social change. Once political sentiment finally changes I suspect we'll be informed about all kinds of "preliminaries."

Shoot, shovel & shut-up are happening, just below the radar.

Blogger tz December 11, 2017 5:58 PM

I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole. Or even one of average height.

Poland shows why ethno-nationalism is a necessary (not sufficient) condition for civic nationalism. You have a narrow ethnic group, Catholicism as the common religion, and a long history. There was a large amount of freedom of religion, thought, and speech under the Polish-Lithuanian empire during the period around our revolution, but the nobles (elites) coopted it.

But there is a solution - they could build a refugee camp with walls and razor wire on three sides (not the German Border side) and serve ham sandwiches and pork chops, No internet access or stipends, and do tent-barracks. Maybe coordinate with the Hungarians.

Blogger S1AL December 11, 2017 6:01 PM

And for you sensitive types (the ones who are thinking 'darn kids and their loud music' - you know who you are), 'The Ballad of Bull' is a wonderful slow hit.

Anonymous Anonymous December 11, 2017 6:02 PM

Evidently the "Generation of '68" has more of a stranglehold on Europe such that their GenX is just as bad as their parents.. but in my observation while stationed there, their Me Generation was not as self-centered as our and thus have not generated enough of the desire not to end up like their parents.

But some of these kids today... Well all I can offer them is my sword.

Blogger White Knight Leo #0368 December 11, 2017 6:02 PM

Saw them in May - going to see them again in March.

Uprising isn't my taste (not surprised the Poles went nuts for it) - the Last Battle and Winged Hussars are more my speed.

Maybe this time they'll close with Final Solution.

An omni-nationalist from the U.S. couldn't pull this off because the U.S. flag doesn't represent the righteous struggle of an under-dog nation. It hasn't since maybe the war of 1812. Instead it represents anti-white poz, globalism, fake wars, Jewish lies, American gullibility, and empire. The right wing in the U.S. requires different symbolism. Hence all the Nazi stuff.

The Gadsden Flag (Don't tread on Me)

It is wonderful that so many of the cultural channels which the Progressives have coopted and tried to pervert are being taken back again. While metal music isn't my particular thing (although Babymetal is a secret pleasure), there are enough metalheads out there to make this more than worth-while. Vox's creation of Castalia House and Alt-Hero and the huge reaction to is is another positive lesson, and who can forget Gamergate is perhaps the proximate cause of all of this.

So many avenues of approach, so little time......

MeToo will die out in ignominy after fearful shitlib males start to fight back and some of the women are exposed as egregious liars. There will be alien contact. Mueller and his co-conspirators will all be fired. Sessions will finally go after thecunt for Uranium One. It's good, but the version with different movie is better because the video converts the people to alt-right en masse ... without a single line of text added to the music, just by showing some clips from an obscure scandinavian medieval movie about crusades :D

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7U9lVjZg-Kg

Just look at the comments. "One of the most kebab removing songs ever"

And if you like patriotic music, then:

This is about Warsaw Uprising, a bit in a U2 style:

Fabryka, Sierpień

Rap:
PNKB żołnierzom westerplatte

Rock-ish music
Horytnica, Katyńskie łzy - this one is not as nice in melody and text, but the amateur who did the clip, did very good job combining fragments of "Katyń" movie... With English subs (you have to enable them).

And, pop English version of Polish really good song from very bad movie:
Warsaw 44

Some nationalists are complaining though, that this is a "blind" patriotism, shallow and empty; I think, however, that better this kind of patriotism than none, that those intellectual snobs are just trying to signal they are "better" nationalists, and that "shallow" patriotism can be changed into deep feeling allowing one to work and fight for your nation and your state.

And, in order not to be too optimistic: support for EU is still very high. Opposition to mass muslim immigration is only something like 3/4 of the population. Menaing we have 25% of potential SJWs :(

And the writer I know, who just published an ideological books about his impressions from journeys to Scandinavia, gets reviews calling him racist, nazi and fascist, book is disaster financially - though it is possible that his regular readers are not buying the book, since they expect him to write fantasy and sf books, and those, who do not read him regularly, are associating his name with sf&fantasy, so they won't buy an essentially a travelling book...

Blogger szopen December 12, 2017 4:29 AM

Heh, and one another good song from a bad movie:
Śpiewka 1920
And another rap:
Honor i ojczyzna

And another rap (About anti-communist partisans post -1945)
Żołnierze wyklęci

Pop by Polish singer from Polish minority in Czech Republic:
Panie generale ("I will never allow to make a bandit out of my father") Knowing history and listening to a text, you have to have heart from stone not to cry to this song...
"Sir General, give me back my son, I have to bury him, his death is my fault - I was myself teaching him what it is the Eagle and that he can fight for it"

Panny wyklęte Noc another song about "cursed soldiers" (i.e. those, who were fighting against all the odds after 1945, called bandits, abandoned by their leaders, erased from the history, refusing to give up and fighting to the bitter end...)

Anonymous Ryan G December 12, 2017 6:07 AM

On the flip side of the rising tide of nationalism is Google. Has anyone seen today's link below their search bar?

"Let’s bring more diversity and inclusivity to mobile gaming".

It links to a page featuring a bunch of women (and possibly a tranny on the far left) and extols women in mobile game development. What does not Y-chromosome have to do with game development? Aside from the fact women tend to not become programmers, I can't think of anything. It's like a fetish with these multi-cultural types: somehow, for reasons never articulated, diversity is supposed to add value to a product. The only tangible benefit I can perceive is the left withholding labeling you a racist. But that doesn't any any value anymore than a protection racket adds value to the businesses under its control.

At the risk of whining, I'm getting really sick and tired of all this bullshit. I hear their message on the radio, see it on tv at the gym, on billboards, movies, bumper stickers, internet ads, and now even on my search page. Even video games, my favorite activity, aren't safe. In Fallout 4 they just had to stick a gay romance option in. If your "affinity" with a follower gets too high they will straight up come on to you regardless of gender.

Given all of this, it's no wonder that some people are starting to fight back. The Poles have always been a stubborn people so it's no wonder they don't seem to care what the rest of Europe thinks.

Blogger Sherwood family December 12, 2017 6:12 AM

David Power, maybe you've heard of the phrase "Phoney War?" This was the 8 month period following the invasion of Poland wherein no major land operations took place on the Western Front by the Allies against the Germans. So...yeah...the Poles were hung out to dry. At least the "profiteering Yanks" had not entered into a formal military alliance with the Poles and then sat on their thumbs like Britain and France when it came time to do something about it.

Blogger Sherwood family December 12, 2017 6:16 AM

To be fair to Britain and France, entering into a military alliance with Poland was a stupid thing to do and I understand why they did not want to do anything about it when the time came. They should never have made such an agreement. There was no reason to risk a world war when they had no reason to. It was foolish military alliances that started WWI and there was no reason to repeat that same mistake. But...having made the commitment they honored it...eventually.

Of course, having helped defeat the Nazis everybody patted themselves on the back, and then cynically fed the Poles to that crocodile Stalin when the war was over. In short: if you do not want a murderous dictator running Europe, simply bring in a second murderous dictator and hand him half of it. That will solve the problem. Or something.

" entering into a military alliance with Poland was a stupid thing to do "
First, French alliance with Poland started immedietely after WWI.

It was not: Hitler reportedly wanted to attack France first and was trying to appeal to Poland. While Polish gvt would not decide to ally with Germany, there was no way for GB to know this. So they did everything they could in order to stiffen our positions, including fantastic promises taht they will send carriers into Black Sea, start offensive within few days and so on. Hitler remarked later it was clear to him, that if Germany would attack the west, Poland would honour the alliance with France, and the opposite would not happen.

Anyways, the proper way was either to strike decisively early on, or not to strike at all. The French and other politicians choose the middle way - the worst possible...

Blogger Sherwood family December 12, 2017 6:45 AM

Oh...I know. Poland got screwed by Britain and France. But it would have been better for all if they had understood the real state of play. If there was no alliance France could still have attacked Germany if it saw it as in its best interests. The alliances only obfuscated that. And you are right, the middle way was the worst possible approach.

Some commenters were surprised that Sabaton are Swedes. Add to that Amon Amarth and a long list of other metal bands, nationalistic endeavors, personalities and you will find that Sweden is not as big of a hell hole as you imagined.

I've often said that my country is not in as bad of a shape as is memed online. We have lots of trouble to be sure, but it's not worse than other European nations and all of us are in a better place than the US imo.

Things will change for the better, no doubt. The change will be very painful, no doubt there either.

Btw, check out Hulkoff and the album KVEN. It's mostly in English and the focus is germanic tribes of the migration era.

Being Finnish, I'm partial to White Death and Soldier of 3 Armies, but Sabaton is generally good stuff. What their actual politics are, I'm not so sure of. I seem to recall some rather vague or cuck-ish comments from the band, but that may be me mistaking one band for another, or the Sabaton guys just covering their backs from the inevitable Swedish media assault on anyone who even hints at being nationalist. In any case all the Sabaton fans I know are nationalists. Mostly of the omni sort: Poland for the Poles, Japan for the Japanese, and Sweden for the Swedes. Europe has survived some seriously bad times. Europe has a chance of surviving this modern globalist-multiculturalist madness too. Europeans just need to protect what has always been their own.

The funny thing is that this concert was in so called "Polish Woodstock" which is usually denounced by Polish Right because it propagates leftist propaganda :D

My older son has been listening to Sabaton, Night Wish, and other European metal bands for years. Sabaton's songs celebrating martial heroism and nationalism are awesome. Excellent workout music and a good way to channel the rage that daily interactions with America's multicultural sewer tend to provoke.

Are there any such bands with the tattoo nonsense?

Blogger Al December 12, 2017 12:55 PM

That is, WITHOUT the tattoo nonsense.

They should never have made such an agreement. There was no reason to risk a world war when they had no reason to. It was foolish military alliances that started WWI and there was no reason to repeat that same mistake. But...having made the commitment they honored it...eventually.

Entering the alliance was indeed a stupid thing to do. For us, Poles. It was only meant for us to throw ourselves under the hurtling German war machine, so the British could buy some time to muster defenses of their precious island. They had all of this down pat. Our great leaders instead of negotiating some civilized conditions of our capitulation before the victors, turned tail and made an "orderly retreat through the Romanian Bridgehead". Where they got promptly interned and replaced with long before prepared puppets in France. Then we, the stupid, brave romantics, had no choice but play our role of being a nasty thorn in the Nazi ass for the very bitter end of war. Hence the tragedy of the Uprising (among other things).

Still. As they used to say in Hitlerjugend: what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. We survived. The almost but not quite mortal catastrophe of the war and then the bleak inhuman times of the Soviet rule. We came through with our spirits risen to yet unknown heights, with our minds vaccinated to the SJW madness and with a vibrant, new appetite for greatness. We'll see how it all turns out for us, our true enemies and our fake friends this time around.

"The poem is in me, evil, alien, evil
and hateful; with scorching fire it burns my nights,
it passes through me crowdlike, hoarse with shouting
like a torchlit procession in the streets.

The poem is evil, hateful, trying to burst
its form (how hard to shackle one who’s free),
and though I drag it from my fiery innards,
its master I will never wholly be.

It twists, shouting and troubled, till it cries out;
becomes then alien, a friend who never was,
stands on the frozen, flaming threshold, crated,
and joins the others in the evening frosts."

Then we, the stupid, brave romantics

Romanticism tends to bring short-term loss and long-term gain, while Realism tends to the opposite effect.

Ah, SABATON... one of my favourite bands ever. I've seen them live something like 5 times now and they always kill it. The crowds here go berserk for them every time they hit the stage.

They are one of a small but growing number of metal bands out there that are unafraid to show love for country, people, and nation in their songs.

And, as they have repeatedly shown with songs like "The Carolean's Prayer", "Carolus Rex", and "The Last Stand", they do not have the slightest problem with invoking the name of the Lord in respectful and powerful ways.

That cannot be said of most metal bands from Scandinavia, where pagan mistrust of Christianity still runs very deep. SABATON is one of the happy exceptions.

Cannot wait to see them again the next time they are in town.

It didn't want to load when I was looking at the post earlier. It did now. Man, that is awesome!

Being Swedes, I wonder if they have any songs about Sweden in [Current Year]?

Anonymous Elcid Barrett December 12, 2017 4:25 PM

Sabaton are fantastic, espevially their three most recent albums. I've been lucky enough to see them twice though sadly they don't seem to be coming my way this next tour.

As far as other general historical/European nativist/church militant bands, I've always liked Primordial, Powerwolf, Mael Mórdha and Tyr. The latter's "Shadow of the Swastika" may be the most unapologetic thing I've yet seen from bands which aren't ultra-niche:

You who think the hue
Of your hide means you are to blame
And your father's misdeeds
Are his son's to carry in shame
Not mine, I'll take no part
You can shove the sins of the your father
Where no light may pass
And kiss my Scandinavian ass

Pages of the past
How long will they last?
A lie lost in the legacy of fools
Left us this parody unsurpassed
Pages of the past
How long will they last?
The shadow of the Swastika
By fools' fears now for far too long has been cast

It's from the Polish Panzer Battalion (Sabaton fan club).

The armor(?) is from the Sabaton logo, and the animal is probably an armadillo. The Polish word for armadillo is "pancernik".

Damn but I do love POWERWOLF and TYR. I wish Heri Joensen would hurry up and write the next TYR album already.

Hello Boomer,

They have an entire album dedicated to Swedish history. They released it in Swedish and English.

Sweden is less cucked than the US, don't self-gaslight.

Thank you for this post. I never heard of Sabaton. Heroic songs about the night witches? About breaking the siege of Vienna? Wow.
