- Enterprise Rent-a-Car
- First National Bank of Omaha

Obviously United Airlines likes people disarmed. Safer to beat them up that way.
Now, to spread it around, share this list everywhere!
Are these the ones that have distanced themselves from the NRA? Or are there other criteria for this list as well?
I'm surprised the NRA hasn't called a boycott.
NRA's list...http://www.2acheck.com/the-boycott-list/nras-list-of-antis/
Are these the ones that have distanced themselves from the NRA?
Yes. Publicly.
But do it an a subtle manner because I wouldn't put it past the derp state to track anyone making overt protest statements.
Another boycott list--there seem to be a lot of fast food, cinema, and other consumer companies....http://www.2acheck.com/the-boycott-list/
Ya know I have hated then NRA for a long time. I've viewed them not only as weak but often as a gun control organization. I've been a member of Gun Owners of America... as it is hardcore... and of course... I am a member of the hardest of the hardcore second amendment advocacy group that exists... The Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership.
Never the less...
Yesterday I joined the NRA. I felt kinda dirty all day. But I don't regret it at all.
Bet I'm not the only one.
"But do it an a subtle manner because I wouldn't put it past the derp state to track anyone making overt protest statements."
I go the opposite route. If someone manages to track me down and make an example, they'll think it's going fantastically. Until the pre-set martyr contingencies kick in.
"Jews For the Preservation of Firearms Ownership"
On taking a gander, that's priceless.
It's like you said, Vox: As soon as SJWs infect a business or organization, they destroy it with their politics. This is but one more example.
I guess they really don't like money, being businesses and all. Fine by me. Let them burn.
The time to do this under the radar so you aren't tracked are over. That's 1990's thinking.
We outnumber them.
I also joined the NRA yesterday. And Larry Pratt personally signed me up for the GOA years ago, so I'm with Nate. I felt dirty for a while.
The NRA was previously under attack for accepting Russian campaign money. There is a melding taking place as to the enemies of the Jews. Theses Jew enemies are white Christians, be they Russians, Americans or Europeans who are willing to fight back and are unwilling to accept Jew subjugation.
I've purchased items from the NRA and am on their NRA-ILA email list but have never been a member as I too believed they were too moderate. Now Nate has given me something to think about.
YIH wrote:Are these the ones that have distanced themselves from the NRA? Or are there other criteria for this list as well?
Most of the companies listed gave a discount to NRA members. I believe the First National Bank of Omaha issued the NRA credit card and has stated they are terminating the agreement.
@9 Didn't GOA refuse to endorse Trump?

Et tu?
That is awesome Nate. You've inspired me to go ahead and join the "Gun Owners of America."
Repeal Amendment 26. There is no longer a draft. Society has already declared people between 18 and 21 too immature for alcohol. They are now saying they are too immature for weapons.
If those conditions exist, excuses originally made for the 26th Amendment are certainly now also incorrect. Amendment 26 should either be repealed or modified to age 21.
If they are too dim for booze and guns, they damn well should not be allowed to continue voting for Dhimmicrats.
Nate wrote:Yesterday I joined the NRA. I felt kinda dirty all day. But I don't regret it at all.
As an added bonus, you are never going to be short for kindling or starting a Hugelkultur with the amount of junk mail they send you during the year.
Sarcasm aside...I don't regret my membership.
To the contrary, I am pleased to announce that all NRA members will henceforth receive a 10 percent discount to a) comment on this blog
I presume this discount will be cumulative with the other commenter discounts on Vox Popoli?
Thanks for posting this. I travel a lot and will make sure to avoid these service provider. I already avoid United Airlines for unrelated customer service issues. It looks like I will avoid Delta as well. I need to avoid the Wyndham and Best Western hotels. Car rentals are not a problem as I am an express member with Dollar Cars.
I fly Southwest as much as possible. When I can't, I'll go American rather than Delta. Flying through DFW is more convenient than ATL for coast to coast travel anyways (and I like to avoid O'Hare).
I've been a Continental, then United customer for 13 years. I've been needing a good reason to say good bye anyway.
@09 "Yesterday I joined the NRA. I felt kinda dirty all day. But I don't regret it at all.
Bet I'm not the only one."
No, you're not the only one; I re-upped my membership after I had decided to let it go -- I, too, prefer GOA because the NRA seems.... weak... or at least not radical enough to satisfy me. (Bit cucky...)
Face it, flying on a commercial airline just sucks these days.
Seen on the net:
"If John Lennon had had a gun, he would have been able to write a lot more songs." ~ Owen Benjamin
"The cops are essentially crime historians. They show up after a crime has been committed, then they write up a report about the crime to be used to beg the legislature for more money for police salaries and more cops for the benefit of police union revenues." ~~ Tom DiLorenzo
Unlike the NRA, GOA publicly took a position that immigration is a Second Amendment issues. But they never came around to fully supporting Trump before the election, though they did speak positively about him while slamming Hillary.
Here's what they wrote in their 10/26/16 email:
While Trump has not always been perfect on Second Amendment rights, he’s spoken highly of gun rights over the past year.
In fact, during the recent debate with Clinton, he took a strong stand on nominating Supreme Court judges who will protect the Second Amendment and hold to an originalist interpretation.
He has also indicated he wants to repeal Obama’s anti-gun executive actions.
I was never a big nra guy but I joined yesterday as well.
I just joined 30 seconds ago! HOT DAMN! I took an NRA course years ago. Dude never asked me to join, he was enthusiastic about taking the time to show me how to use a shotgun I had purchased. I had a lot of fun that day. I probably should have joined that day.
Lotta cultural anecdotes I could include about Long Island but I'll stop here. Nonetheless, I just joined.
Yesterday I joined the NRA. I felt kinda dirty all day. But I don't regret it at all.
I got my qualms about their legislative positions too, but they do a lot our here to help small range owners, and that's worth something in itself.
"On taking a gander, that's priceless."
you would not believe how amusing it is. Not only are these guys 2A absolutists (seriously they think we should be able to have tanks and nuclear submarines. they told me that over the phone.) but they also have a sense of humor. When I called to join I said, "Do y'all take gentiles?" and the guy said, "As long as you have 25 bucks. We're jews after all."
JPFO was awesome while Aaron Zelman was around but I quit following them after he died. They published a short, fantastic book called "Dial 911 And Die" which is what really spread the message that police have no duty to protect anyone.
"fantastic book called "Dial 911 And Die" which is what really spread the message that police have no duty to protect anyone"
yep. I remember that. if only we had more Aaron Zelmans... and fewer Woody Allens.
Surprising how many of these companies were already on my, "never f4cking again list".
The dumbest is 1st National of Omaha. They are in freaking Omaha, which is in Deep Red Nebraska.
That was a major an un-needed black eye. Back when I lived there they had a local rep for being too big to care about their customers.
Now they will have a rep for holding them in contempt. That is much worse.
I wonder if the CH store could use a small NRA discount to encourage folks to use the store rather than Amazon?
Nice move Nate. When they compromised and folded during the reign of Clinton and his/her assault on our 2A rights... I said never again will I be fooled. Joined GOA and never looked back. But alas , here we are now with our right to keep and bear under Deep State assault... so it probably makes sense to rejoin. They may be deathly moderate, but they are our moderates none the less.
I'm reupping on Tuesday. I'll have a new Boost burner phone by then.
Damned if, I'm giving the NRA my real number ever again.
Logarithmic.
Car rentals are not a problem as I am an express member with Dollar Cars.
Dollar is owned by Hertz, as is Thrifty.
I'm travelling in 2 weeks and there are no rental car companies left.
Speaking of feeling dirty, I have to rent from one or another of them.
I joined the NRA as a life member on the installment plan the week BJ Clinton was elected.
think we should be able to have tanks
You too (US citizen) can own a tank.

some car dealerships will rent them to you.
VFM #424 here. Actually JPFO is a very sound group--all are welcome to join. I re-upped with NRA 7 months early yesterday.
Looks like the milquetoast defenders of our 2A rights are in need of support. Probably a good time to rejoin. When they refused to stand up against the full blown gun ban jihad being waged during the reign of Clinton 1, I said to hell with them. Joined GOA and never looked back. However, when the enemy is attacking an ally we must stand with them. They may be moderates...but at least they're our moderates
Lpdbw,
Check out Silvercar and Ace car rental. Both great companies, small and solid on customer service
Dollar is owned by Hertz, as is Thrifty.
You just reminded me of this fact.
Welsh Woodman,
Yes I remember sneering at them as I walked into the gun show.
Stupid of me, in retrospect. That's exactly what the gun banners want.
Recently had the opportunity to stick it to Chubb for the better part of 10 million on a business matter. It was the right thing to do regardless, but this is certainly a nice bit of schadenfreude-flavored icing on the cake.

Animal Mother - you are absolutely right. One of the reason gun owners as a group have been so successful at fighting off the jackals is that were motivated, well organized, united and absolutely unswayed by emotional appeals. There is now way in hell we are giving up our guns. Not going to happen - period. The marxist jackals know this and are seeking to divide us. Its why its absolutely critical we remain uncompromising and united.
Whats funny is that these fuck twats actually think gun-owners join the NRA for the perks. Little do they know these publicity stunts are just hardening our resolve. What part of "cold dead hands" don't they understand?
Since this is kind of a 2A thread, has anyone found out what led Bob Owens to commit suicide? That was so unexpected.

@54, Was a nail gun involved?
I haven't been a member of a gun advocacy organization for awhile. When in California, I was part of the California Rifle and Pistol Association, but since moving to Idaho, where the guns run free, I haven't considered the national stage much. I still have the CPRA set to benefit from my Amazon Smile purchases, so that gives me the warm fuzzies.
Yesterday I went all in: I joined the NRA, Gun Owners of America, and Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. All have a slightly different focus, but there are good reasons for supporting all of them. I am waiting for the NRA to announce how many new members joined following this new round of anti-gun garbage.
@56 No, by all appearances he shot himself at an intersection in the suburbs. Left a short Facebook suicide note, but not any kind of explanation.
I've been a member of the NRA in the past. When I first joined it was fine. But after a few years they started sending mail pretty much every month asking for money. And the requests never stopped.
I finally got tired enough of it to drop my membership. Well, they tracked me down a few years later and asked me to rejoin. I told them why I left and they promised left, right, and sideways that they would put me on a list and I'd never receive another letter asking for additional money. So I rejoined.
Within two months there was another letter asking for more money. I've never bothered renewing, and I doubt I ever will.
That said, these companies now on my avoid at all cost list. It takes a while for companies to learn, but the rules have changed. You can no longer virtue signal at our expense and expect us to remain your customers.
Is that a REFUNDABLE 10%?
As just finished re-watching Atlas Shrugged, the movie trilogy and, since I am an NRA life member could the largesse extend to 20%? Have not decided to avail one way or another, but the extra 10% may influence the decision. Yes, Ayn Rand's writings could be said to be extreme capitalism and on steroids.
> I'm travelling in 2 weeks and there are no rental car companies left.
Instapundit recommended Sixt and it looks like Rent-a-Wreck is still in business. See https://infogalactic.com/info/Category:Car_rental_companies for a more complete list.
Seriously. Do NOT give the NRA your real phone number.
#40. Yes, you could probably get a tank. The main gun and shells, not to mention the .50 cal infantry swatters are another matter....
@61. This is the way of it; I know from experience. If they start calling a lot inform them that you will shoot them. Works every time it's tried.
Well. Looks like the system is dropping my comments again. I'm sure google has it for me. I will re-comment.
Add Simplisafe home security to the list.
I'll be a first time NRA member by the end of the day.
Also, a heads up that American Renaissance is suing Twitter in California. Consider donating to their legal fund.

OK. One more try and I call it.
Since I am an NRA life member and, I just finished watching Atlas Shrugged, the movie trilogy, could the offer extend to 20%? Have not decided one way or another but, the extra 10% might sway the decision. Ayn Rand's writings definitely promoted extreme capitalism and on steroids to boot.
Sweet. I will join also.
Add Simplisafe to that list. They'll be getting an earful from me in the morning.
Also levis. They responded to an accidental discharge not by dealing with the asshole but by banning guns at all locations.
Ah, the ol' Platinum Commenter Membership package, same as AoSHQ.
They don't call us Morons for nothin'!
I don't think these folks fully grasp that you can't strangle a member supported organization by boycott.
So they provide us with a handy list of people not to do business with, so what? Who does that hurt except the stupid business?
So we don't save X% through the NRA discount. The dumb shits don't grasp that most people who would have gotten the discount will not simply swallow the full price, they'll go somewhere else entirely.
You go from a (100-X)% sale to no sale at all.
I believe that's called "cutting of your nose to spite your face".
Concur on not giving the NRA your phone number. Not them, and not ANY political organization or campaign.
I'm a strong supporter of a ban on robo-calling.
> Not them, and not ANY political organization or campaign.
But I like telling the RNC I won't contribute to them. :)
pyrrhus wrote:NRA's list...http://www.2acheck.com/the-boycott-list/nras-list-of-antis/
They have a list of celebs there. They'd make it easier just to list the handful that AREN'T anti-gun. I'm sure their list is incomplete.
Is that a REFUNDABLE 10%?
Come on....
I wonder if the CH store could use a small NRA discount to encourage folks to use the store rather than Amazon?
The problem is that even if the readers here all use it, far more people still use KU. KU has grown from 12 million to 21 million in just one year.
How hard is it to start a car rental service?
Careful not to be a hate mob yourself.
The one I deal with most is Best Western, and can't find any official statement either way.
Apparently BW ceased the NRA discount earlier as a business decision and it has nothing to do with the boycott. An old NRA discount flyer had them listed but it didn't have a date on it. I've been with BW through Harley Owners Group for years and never noticed any NRA discount on their program pages. They also have AAA/CAA and AARP.
I've called and written and so far what they said is they are being listed in error, at least that they haven't had an NRA discount for a while but there was nothing political about it.
That's fair. I can definitely see the Left trying to start some friendly fire incidents.
I signed up for five years.

Creating our own hate mobs is an important tactic that needs to be developed and refined.
Nate wrote:Ya know I have hated then NRA for a long time. I've viewed them not only as weak but often as a gun control organization.
Yep, NRA hates gun control the way a wheat farmer hates wheat. Cuts it down every year, then plants some more.
My father was a life member. I've been a life member for almost 30 years now.
Nate wrote:Not only are these guys 2A absolutists (seriously they think we should be able to have tanks and nuclear submarines. they told me that over the phone.)
The Second is absolute. If you don't want your neighbors owning nukes, we're going to have to amend the Second. If it's a weapon, Congress shall pass no law.
@21 - Sorry, all commenter discounts here have stacking penalties.
Think progress also lists Lifelock as removing their NRA discount. I tried the NRA link and it redirected to the Symantec page.
> Think progress also lists Lifelock as removing their NRA discount. I tried the NRA link and it redirected to the Symantec page.
Lifelock is owned by Symantec. Symantec apparently has signed on to the boycott.
Just saw an article from the NY Times (/SPIT!) where the reporter talked about spending the last three days harassing the heads of big banks and credit card companies to get them to announce that they'll not allow firearms to be sold using their services.
He's talking about organizing a private Operation Choke Point, essentially weaponizing the financial industry against the left's enemies, chief among them the firearms industry.
What exactly would our recourse be at that point? I mean, I'd have no compunction about lying to them about what I was selling (Bridal Gown = Real Nice AR10, Wedding Cake = Mid-Range Pistol Caliber Carbine, etc).
Any other ideas?
We need Alt-Finance STAT, before the leftists manage to hem us in and basically cut off our access to e-commerce entirely.
I know the mantra here is "Don't Suggest, DO", but I don't have the money to properly outfit my machine shop, much less capitalize a damned bank, and I fully realize I don't know the first thing about running something like that.
One of you guys who's working on the crowdfunding platforms maybe ought to look at what they can do to become a bank (or a processor like PayPal).
It may not be possible (the first guys up the ladder like to use regulations to roll it up behind them), but if it is possible at all, the folks here would be the people to pull it off.
@87 CoolHand
There are a lot of banks out there and that would be some pretty severe violations of both Civil Rights laws & general finance rules. The gun groups would have enough money to attack the Banks if the numbers got big enough.
We do need Alt-Finance, but this one is unlikely to go anywhere.
"What exactly would our recourse be at that point? "
you realize that there is an enormous drug trade that exists without the help of banks and financial corporations right?
Cash.
HOW DOES IT WORK????
I do recall seeing a article that said the bank that the NRA uses for member credit cards was going to stop the service, thereby ending the cards. Not sure of timing but I assume they might be breaking a contract. Can't find the article now but it would be a useful add on to the boycott.
Nate wrote:"What exactly would our recourse be at that point? "

READING COMPREHENSION.

I don't know to what extent the government tracks the movement of cash, but the bills have serial numbers for a reason. Regardless, cash probably offers better anonymity than even bitcoin.
Also, OT but Infogalactic News won't resolve on FireFox anymore without a security exception.
Says that your SSL Certificate is installed improperly or some such.
No idea what that means exactly, or how you fix it. All I know is that FireFox won't load IGNews without me clicking through a couple of dialogs about how insecure everything was and how you were gonna steal my lunch money if I let your page load.
Just a heads up.
> What exactly would our recourse be at that point?
They can do the math and realize how much money they would be throwing away. If they sign on anyway, it's too late to save them from their own stupidity.
> You sell a lot of shit over the internet using cash do you?
Is your bank going to refuse to cash your check made out to a company?
> Says that your SSL Certificate is installed improperly or some such.
The certificate expired just over three hours ago. It was working fine earlier today. It'll probably be taken care of in the morning.
James Dixon wrote:

Probably not, but physical payment methods (cash, check, money order, barter, etc) make doing business over the internet a lot more clunky.
The conversion ratio of sales when I accept PayPal or other CC payments is an order of magnitude higher than when I accept only check/money order/cash for a product.
Don't kid yourselves, it would make a BIG dent in e-commerce sales if we were restricted solely to physical payment methods.
Glad to hear it on the IGNews thing. Toldja I didn't know how that shit worked.
Re losing the banks/credit cards.... I hear there is this new thing called crypto currency. Might be worth looking into.
As for the JPFO, I won't join them because they are now owned by the SAF. Which is founded and run by Alan Gotleib (complete with bow tie). His main goal seems to be selling mailing lists in between trying to tell everyone to calm down and fight the system in the courts and legislature but never get too mad or show up to protests with guns.
http://daylightdisinfectant.com/gun-rights-advocate-helped-write-background-check-bill/
I'd rather join the NRA than give money to the SAF and its now various subordinate gun rights groups.
FP wrote:Re losing the banks/credit cards.... I hear there is this new thing called crypto currency. Might be worth looking into.
When dealing with normies, crypto might as well be solid gold doubloons.
I've been set up to accept BitCoin for three years now, and in that time not a single customer has paid via that method. Only one (1) has even asked about it.
Crypto currencies are too complicated and new/weird for the normies to interface with.
Would probably have more takers for payment via Krugerrand or Wampum than BitCoin.
Maybe the normies would take the plunge if all other electronic payment methods were blocked, but that's a damned big gamble to take with one's livelihood.
Not saying the sky is falling or anything like that, but it IS something we need to be looking into (and by WE I mean those of us who make our livings online in the "disfavored" industries), because the current alternatives aren't gonna cut it.
All those companies will let the truth of a meme Instapundit has been promoting lately: "Get Woke, Go Broke"
Be interesting to look at their next quarter's earnings.
United Airlines is the kind of company whose disapproval works as a rather strong endorsement.
One question above all others stands at the heart of this American moment, do we have the will to be free. As Ronald Reagan reminded us in January of 1988, referencing Victor Hugo, ‘People do not lack strength; they lack will.’ Back then Reagan said, “…the American people looked deep into their souls and proved to the world that they still had the will to be free and the courage to carry the torch of liberty.” The question rises again to the forefront of this singular moment, this nexus point in our history, do we still have the will to be free and the courage stand in the gap against the forces seeking to shackle us with bonds of political correctness and the fetters of social hegemony in the service of political servitude under the encroaching weight of insipient socialism or do we lack the will to persevere?
@89 "you realize that there is an enormous drug trade that exists without the help of banks and financial corporations right?

Best Western seems to be lined out. Why?
Best Western seems to be lined out. Why?
Probably because there's some debate whether they're actually boycotting the NRA or just an innocent bystander. As tz up at #76 mentioned:
"Apparently BW ceased the NRA discount earlier as a business decision and it has nothing to do with the boycott. "
I'm a Life member of the NRA. Once you join up go to the web site and create an account. You can adjust the settings on your account to eliminate junk mail and telephone solicitations. You will have to hunt a little bit to find it but it works.

a) Why should I have to go to their website (and almost certainly create an account) to do so?
b) Sorry, but you only get to lie to me once. They had their chance and they blew it.
Good news:
Due explicitly to the NRA boycott supported by Delta Airlines, the Georgia Senate has reversed course and cancelled a planned tax break on fuel taxes at the Atlanta airport.
This is expected to cost Delta $40,000,000/year.
