The video looks great, I've shared it on my FB page and with friends. One thing I didn't like was the metal guitar intro, I thought it was corny, for such cool and serious content I think it sets the wrong tone from the start, the intro video music was better.

Great presentation. Any chance of including footnotes and sources for the info presented?

Slightly OT, but there's a recent article that has some interesting quotes:

But when we’re faced with a continuous stream over a virtually unguardable border it does make a difference, because if those immigrants come not to acculturate but to get what America can give, they’re going to change our culture. Further, if those immigrants come possessed with a theory of racial/ethnic superiority and how they “own” half of our country, it’s going to create a poisonous subculture in our midst....

The American people are generous to a fault. Many of us support children in other countries. Many send money to disaster relief around the world. But unless you believe there is some magic to the very soil that makes the U.S. prosperous, we cannot and should not allow in everyone in the world who has a need, because if we do, we will end up with our country becoming like the place they came from....

Nothing comes of despoiling a safe country and handing yourself bound to people who’ll destroy its culture, and therefore its very existence.

The author? Sarah Hoyt.

Like Vox says, the key is influence, not credit.

Congratulations Vox. Good luck with this!

Immigration is glacial war; Slow yet relentless and will alter the social, cultural and political landscape. Thanks for the video, Vox. It's already raising the hackles of my progressive friends, but they have no substantive response to the historical facts contained within the presentation. Well done.

Great video. And I read it as Bitch-Ute at first. What's a Bitch-Ute? Perhaps a feminist from the Univ. of Utah

I've started posting the following as I wander around YouTube (where it seems at least semi-germane):

If you want to understand history and the true-for-humanity statement that: "Immigration is another form of war," search for "Voxiversity 001 - Immigration and War." YouTube has put it in 'jail' for being true.

Thanks. No, it's a video, not a paper. We will, however, be doing a five-minute follow-up video that I think will interest you greatly, given your interest in the sources.

Keep in mind that a fair amount of this is extemporaneous. It's not as if I write out a script; if I was going to do that, I'd just put up a blog post.

Blogger NeoNietzsche: February 27, 2018 11:48 AM

My biggest ... desire? ... for the Voxiversity episode was for it not to end! I wanted more; and deeper and broader and most discussion of the points. (And yeah, I ddin't care for the beginning music either... Boomer thing? Or is it just not likely to cause someone to keep watching?)

Blogger gunner451 February 27, 2018 11:56 AM

I agree with the concept in this video but doubt that it will have much impact on the end result which will be the dissolution of the western civilization (aka the US and Western Europe). Having read Sir John Glubb's the fate of empires a while back I realized that the pattern established there is unmistakably visible and pointing to our fall relatively soon as we seem to be well advanced in the final stage of empires.

Great!

Yesterday's voxiversity is tomorrow's meme!

@8 VD

After "Don't Panic" engine is working, we could probably setup a wiki to minion-source Notes & FAQs for the Videos. Those could be compiled into a companion literature.

How's that coming, anyway?

Hey, Vox:

I posted the Voxversity clip on my FB page, with the following text:

"Interesting thesis: that mass migration and war are only two sides of the same coin. Discuss."

Bets as to how long it takes before I get banned from FB.

Cheers!

Short videos are better for sharing. If it's too long, people might not watch it at all.

The video is not for you. You're already reading this blog.

@8 @3 Keep in mind that a fair amount of this is extemporaneous.

That doesn't matter.  There's a huge amount of post-production involved, and clickable annotations are just the sort of thing you can tack on in the process.  They don't even have to be direct references, they can go to particular sections of an Infogalactic page for the video which can be filled out over time.  None of this has to require YOUR time.

We will, however, be doing a five-minute follow-up video that I think will interest you greatly, given your interest in the sources.

Set the stage for crowdsourcing and just stand back.

130 million conquerors with guns or 130 million who control the state which has the guns. Same outcome

Great first video Vox

Bitchute, Facebook, DailyMotion, take your pick.

Great first video Vox. good, clear narrative.

vox video guys - do check out alternative-hypothesis' latest videos as a style-guide of interest. clear exposition and well-chosen, animated visual rhetoric that sometimes reaches the level of an uncanny illustration of some complex ideas.

i think these are now the best-made alt-right videos on the net.

That is an excellent point that all here need to keep in mind. Video will always fall well short of written in terms of depth and breadth.

Both are needed in today's world, and that is why Vox is doing this. A good addition to the likes of Black Pigeon, Molyneux, and Alt Hyp (among others).

Blogger peter blandings February 28, 2018 10:10 AM

just saw episode one. really good.

Blogger Raben Wulf February 28, 2018 5:44 PM

Just got around to watching it too. I am sure many have had a lot to say about certain aspects of the video, but I'll throw in my two cents as well...

Audio:
-Vox's voice is deep enough to where it work quite well with either a condenser or dynamic microphone. XLR based, not USB. Thankfully good ones can be had for under $100. To work with XLR Mics an audio interface/mixer is needed and they are worth it. They can range from around $50 to $150. I personally use the Yamaha AG03.
- Where condenser mics offer more detailed, realistic sounds. Dynamic mics can give that deep rich radio voice.
- Audacity is a bit of free software that lets you tweak audio after its been recorded. You can remove noise, boost the richness of the voice, and even it out so its got that professional sound. A lot of people doing voice overs and music use this software.

- Video: The flicker (film) effect on Vox is a little distracting. The look and feel of it does not quite work without lighting and a natural background.
- There are some good options for capturing video with current cameras today, such as grabbing an Elgato CamLink and any camera that has HDMI out, such as a GoPro.
- Open Broadcasting software is free (also see streamlabs OBS), which can give way more control over video capture and both audio and video recording. Filters let the user add anything from real time color correction to audio gain, as well as VSTs for EQ. It is extremely smart software that is perhaps one of the most popular right now for recording.

Green Screen:
- If I remember correctly, Vox said he likes his background. This can still be used with a solid green screen set up. Simply take a nice well lit picture of the office or library, apply any adjustments you need (can be done with a ton of easy to use software, many free) and apply it as the backdrop. The green screen setup will then have a better lit, more rich background where as the lighting can mostly focus on getting the person to look their best.
- This can allow you to speak and engage the audience directly, with footage of whatever you wish to present playing the background as well.
- Green Screens (chroma key) are extremely cheap these days. Anywhere from $10 to $40. However, for convenience, elgato also has one that's built into a stand for $150. This lets you pull it up for use, then quickly slide it back down into its base.

The editing and motion graphics are there (beyond what I was expecting), so other than watching Vox level up his footage, the Voxiversity videos can only build upon whats already considered pretty darned good. There is some good momentum going on via all fronts, it does not appear to be slowing down but rather speeding up. Good stuff.
