Come see the violence

Inherent in the insane, shamelessly hypocritical world of SJW comics:
Comics creators really hate criticism. Every time "Diversity and Comics" creator Richard Meyer reviews a comic book he doesn't like, industry professionals lose their minds and wish violence on him. The last time it happened he was threatened by a Marvel professional and told to stay away from Comicon. This time, Image Comics' transgender writer Michelle Perez tweeted that he wishes Meyer had died in an IED attack.

Michelle Perez@rubblewoman
richard c meyer, aka the diversity and comix guy. he did a 30 minute video about a comic book circular that featured an article of mine. hes a multiple divorcee piece of shit. hes a war veteran so of course he's a cryptofascist. unfortunately an IED didnt blow him up

Michelle Perez@rubblewoman
my unvarnished opinion: man it sure sucks that this guy didnt get blown up by an IED

Twitter has not removed the posts for violating community standards.

Meyer is an Afghanistan combat veteran who survived multiple IED attacks and served his country honorably. He has now carved out a popular niche for himself reviewing comic books and has a huge following on YouTube. He has been at the forefront in bringing attention to the far-left ideologues who have taken over the comics industry and he isn't shy about reporting their terrible behavior and penchant for always running to violent ideation any time they are offended....

Bounding Into Comics reported that Erik Larson, Image Comics co-founder and board member, responded to the uproar.

Larsen’s initial reaction was to explain Perez’s wish for Meyer to be killed is part of freedom of speech, "I can’t control what other people say or do anymore than they can control what I say or do. It’s just words, man. Nobody was hurt. That’s the freedom of speech in action. None of us have to like it."

But comics artist and veteran Will Caligan lost his job at Short Fuse Media for expressing his opinion that men can't change their DNA by wishful thinking. His First Amendment rights meant nothing to the mob. His innocuous truth about the impossibility of DNA morphing by the power of wishes took food off his table, but Perez can wish to see a veteran blown up in an IED attack and suddenly #FreeSpeechMatters.

We're not fooled. The double standard for conservative voices in comics is deafening—and #Comicsgate is about to boil over.
It is increasingly evident that the entire "free speech" movement of the so-called Enlightenment was never about anything but getting Christians to relax their blasphemy laws. Obviously that was a tremendous mistake. Again and again, we have seen that tolerating evil merely leads to the rule of intolerant evil.

The sad truth is that Image and the other independents are actually more converged than Marvel and DC. At least the Big Two have to pretend to acknowledge the mass market, even when they make major mistakes like trying to claim this bare-faced Western whore is a Muslim. The indies are free to let their freak flags fly, and they make the average Lovecraft cultist look sane and reserved by comparison.

No worries. Alt★Hero is coming. And speaking of comics, don't forget that Rebel Dead Revenge #2: Satan's Army is now available and the #1 comic in four categories. I'm also pleased to report that our distributor has successfully addressed the technical issue and the first two Arkhaven print editions should be available on Amazon soon. But you don't need to wait if you want to acquire both #1 issues.

A big issue here is that so-called "Conservatives in comics" don't understand the fighte they're in. In the end, they only care about SJWism to the extent that it interferes with their ability to be entertained. Jingle a keychain with a Batman logo in front of their eyes, and they're happy.
They believe if you just give SJWs a stern talking-to, so they have to curb propaganda in the stories they tel, all will be right with the world.
And so the incursion moves forward.

I've been thinking about this lately, but I believe the core intellectual goal of the "Enlightenment" is to call A as Not-A. This is why the word inversion happens so often. It goes right to the name of the movement itself. Rather than bringing ideas to the light, it works to darken the mind to the Truth.

So what we've seen for the last 400 years is the interplay between Christian Morality and Enlightenment-based Inversions of that Morality. The "Enlightenment" acts as an intellectual framework to call invert Good with Evil.

Isaiah is pretty clear the reality: "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!" Isaiah 5:20 ESV.

Good grief! Larson's gone from rabid-Obama-supporter to off-the-deep-end. And if D&C would have said that Perez should have an untimely accident at the hands of white nationalists, I am *certain* Erik "Savage Dragon" Larson's response would be "that's just freedom of speech in action."

Larson presents behavior more mentally and morally defective than Perez does.

@ 2

It is the perfection in this world problem. Christians and empiricists recognize that human knowledge is contingent and never complete, which is not a postmodern claim that ideals are meaningless, only that they are at best imperfectly realized. I liken it to a calculus limit, where continually approaching something out of reach in itself doesn't make that thing meaningless.

The Enlightenment claims absolute perfection is attainable by human means, which is empirically and spiritually false. Note how their "universal" human nature is based on a simplistic critique of eighteenth-century religious and political institutions. That inversion, that lie that you identify is built into the foundation of the Enlightenment epistemology.

And their vitriol against Meyer will be nothing to what we see against Vox when Arkhaven and Dark Legion Comics begin destroying their markets.

I'm coming around to Bruce Charlton's opinion that there are actual demons active in this world...

If hateful little bitches like this Perez creature really want it to take it to the next level, I'm afraid they'd be all wet in the end. tsk tsk

Demon possession is real but rare. Gaining access to "demonic power" seems more common, and you can see it on a lot of elites. They seem to be withered and frail, but keep moving forward & don't die. There's a reason for that.

Blogger SciVo March 02, 2018 12:01 PM

You know, I'm willing to compromise with Democrats on common-sense gun control. I think we can all agree that America would be safer if Congress passed a law forbidding the sale of firearms to Democrats, immigrants, socialists, queers, commies, and greens.

They obviously feel that they would be less safe with a gun -- presumably because they fear that they would not be able to resist the urge to shoot themselves or others -- and we should respect that.

Blogger Thucydides March 02, 2018 12:04 PM

I hope he is backing up his material because his time on YouTube is limited. Someone, somewhere is going to file a complaint and get Diversity and Comics banned.

"there are actual demons active in this world..."

I've been studying demonology for 35 years, It's worse than most would imagine. The only thing that keeps the entire world from turning into a charnel house is that our Loving God keeps a short leash on the monsters.

I went to SLCC and wore a "Hillary Lost, get over it" Tee shirt on the first day.

Oddly, not one person attacked me for it.
a bunch of folks grinned and commented on it, though.

Maybe people should just avoid SDCC and NYCC

On the second day I tried to wear my 'hitler's face(Because my Che shirt is in the wash)' tee shirt But it didn't fly. I had to change to get in... but then, I get that one.

Here you will find similar rhetoric. You can smell the desire of blacks wishing genocide upon Afrikaners. When will the wholesale slaughter begin?

Has anyone else noticed that Libertarians seem to be the political ideology arm of the church of Satan? Crowley's "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" combined with the 'non aggression principle'(In order to not get rounded up as a death cult)seems like a perfect fit.

Blogger Ceerilan March 02, 2018 2:37 PM

It was known in the Victorian era that eventually Christianity would loose power in the Democratic West. What they might have thought was that the church would retain unofficial influence by cultural inertia. Unfortunately, the Marxists had other plans, and once Christianity ceded the moral high ground, they gave up their best weapon against the barbarians in their midst.

Ding!

Righteousness under Righteous Law is more important than Luciferian delusional "Freedom".

Blogger Matamoros March 02, 2018 2:44 PM

Interesting thought about "free speech" really being about relaxing blasphemy laws.

Just another arrow in their quivver I suppose, along with tolerance, love your brother, its a small world, and all the other arrows against Christians.

I think more strictly Libertarianism conforms to the Wiccan rede: "Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill, an it harm none, do what ye will." The problem is, most Wiccans are women, and they come up with "reasons" why they can curse others. It also permits inaction in the face of evil - and Libertarians are certainly guilty of that.

"How is it that whenever Muslims are represented in western media, they are painstakingly made out to be as far from orthodox as possible?"
Maybe because blowing up buses full of school children is even less popular than the SJW garbage they normally spew.

Even this is vile. It posits the fulfillment of one's appetites as the highest good, turning one into a slave to hedonism. But more importantly, it shifts the onus of virtue from one's duty to uphold virtue to infringements against others. The problem with that is that it doesn't bother with the tragedy of the commons, gives rise to shit like victimless crimes ("what does it matter what two consenting adults do in their own room?" The answer? A lot, even if no one is "harmed".). After all, the true test of virtue is what do you do when you think no one is watching.
