Twitter's "Russia" bots are Google

At least, that is what an anonymous Googler has publicly claimed.
Hello everyone, this is my first time posting on 4chan, but I need to get this out. And I need to stay anonymous.

I work for Google. I’m not going to name the internal tech department for obvious reasons, I don't want anyone to pinpoint who I am. But I'm in tech, and work with Al. I’ll explain

My team and I created Al bots for Twitter. These bots are slightly different than regular Al bots, these are remote signal bots, but I'll explain what they do

My team and a "human intelligence" team, which is really just a propaganda team, work together to make certain topics trend, and persuade public opinion, which persuades political pressure. We do this by a groupthink method, we have a name for it internally, but "consensus cracking" is a more used name externally. But the bots we created, go into Twitter conversations and push a narrative. Some of the bots are verified accounts. And they start by arguing a point of view against someone, and then more bots join in and thumbs up the comment.

We are doing it with gun control now. More people see a “consensus" of gun control and people on the fence get persuaded to our narrative, and politicians get pressured by thinking it’s actual people. We had whole meetings about 4chan. because you guys, specifically this board, are disrupting the bots. You are basically doing what we are doing, but you are real people. We (not necessarily me) devised a plan to knock you guys from Twitter. We accused Russia of doing what WE are doing, and used the narrative to wipe out "suspected bots". which we knew weren't bots at all.

I feel like shit about this. Here's the thing. I'm actually a democrat, and I HATE guns, but i believe in balance of the people more than anything. We are using software as a political tool instead of the will of the people.

This is also a violation of the SEC, we are fabricating twitter users and using them for stocks & advertisers. I signed that I wouldn’t discuss this, so I need to stay anonymous.
What is particularly interesting about this was Q's recent post.
Russia>D/HRC
Twitter Bots>GOOG operated (not Russia)/Narrative & Political SLANT
BIDEN / CHINA.
BIG DEVELOPMENT.
TRAITORS EVERYWHERE.
AMERICA FOR SALE.
Of course, there are very, very few Americans at Google, so it's hardly a surprise that their loyalties should prove to be elsewhere. The main thing is to understand that the bogus RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA theme being pushed by the Clinton campaign is exactly the same as the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA theme being pushed by Twitter and Facebook, and it is the same as the RUSSIA RUSSIA RUSSIA theme being pushed by the British Prime Minister.

All three are the same false flag being waved because the neocons and Never-Trumpers desperately want the war with Russia that Hillary Clinton was supposed to give them over Ukraine.

We all know that the Bush and Blair governments lied their way into the war with Iraq. It's extremely important to make sure that the US and British people do not permit their governments to get away with the same damn thing with Russia. Remember, there is stupid, really stupid, and war with Russia stupid.

UPDATE: So, this does not sound good.

Very disturbing, the more so because it's so very believable. The Silicon Valley magnates seem to suffer from megalomania worthy of a James Bond movie villain. They're going to shove leftism down our throats whether we like it or not.

It'll be interesting to see if Trump has this investigated. I suspect the NSA could run Google bot-posting schemes down quickly enough.

Given the Clintons and others on the left have a pattern of accusing others of doing exactly what they themselves are doing, this is no surprise. Many on the right, myself included, have been called "Russian bots" for over two years now.

Thomas Wictor's theories have to be taken with huge grains of salt, but he has seemingly been proven correct about events permitting the mullahs getting overthrown by growing unrest. So? That is what submarines do. The only reason that this is reported is that the Russian military bragged about it to the Russian media. But the fact is US submarines do this ALL THE TIME.

Another fact - the submarines with nukes do NOT do this. They hide in deep waters thousands of miles away from their targets. And it is because of missile submarines any nuke war between Russia and the US is a no go.

There will be no direct war between Russian and the US, because neither can invade the other, and a nuke war will destroy both and benefit the Chinese. (Of course, if a nuke war does happen, both sides will also eliminate China, Europe, the mid-east including Israel, Iran, and any remaining countries that look funny with whatever nukes are left over.) Both Russia and the US know this. There are plenty of morons in the media and government who do not know this, but the hard guys with control of the nukes DO know this, so it ain't gonna happen.

Blogger Lazarus March 17, 2018 10:18 PM

Saker:

Russian MoD warn: US is preparing a chemical false flag attack in Syria to justify US attack

early March, the sabotage groups were deployed in the southern de-escalation zone near Daraa. Formations of so-called Free Syrian Army are located there.

They are preparing provocations using explosive devices fitted with poisonous agents. In the future, this fact will be used in order to accuse the government troops of using chemical weapons.

Components for these chemical munitions have already been transported to the southern de-escalation zone under cover of humanitarian convoys of a number of non-governmental organizations.

Insurgents have not only components for poisonous agents but also detonating fuzes camouflaged as packs with cigarettes.

Besides, the Jabhat al-Nusra armed formations with support of so-called ‘White Helmets’ are preparing staged chemical attack near the settlements of al-Habid and Qalb Luza located 25 km northwest Idlib. Therefore, 20 containers with chloride have been delivered there.

It is planned that the event shall be widely broadcasted in the western mass media.

Such provocations will give the USA and its coalition grounds for an attack against military and government facilities in Syria.

“The Russian Ministry of Defence stressed that there is clear evidence of preparations for the possible strikes. There are groups of missile carriers deployed in eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea, Persian Gulf and Red Sea. It causes a question – whom will the USA support with these strikes? Will it be the Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliates that commit outrages in the country? The Russian General Staff continues monitoring situation in the Syrian Arab Republic,” said Colonel General Sergei Rudskoy.

Blogger Frank Brady March 17, 2018 10:21 PM

I believe this is serious.

Blogger Lazarus March 17, 2018 10:26 PM

Here is another thought. The cruise missile attack back in the ancient past when Ivanka cried for the children sent 56 cruise missiles into Syria.....only a few got there. Maybe the US wants to waste another couple of hundred millions of dollars to see how Russian defenses operate now.

Everything just seems like some friggin carnival these days. Back to the bearded lady and the guy who sleeps on a bed of nails.

Blogger DonReynolds March 17, 2018 10:43 PM

The Yellow Press in the USA (and the UK) has been dragging our countries into foreign wars since the 1760s. This was not commonly recognized until the Spanish-American War, which was the same time as the Second Boer War in South Afrika. The formular for stoking war fever is so well established that it has been copied by many countries in the world (especially European). I have seen it in my own lifetime, several times.

War with Russia (or China) would certainly be incredibly stupid and destructive. Powers outside of Syria have kept the civil war there going for years longer than it ever could have persisted on it's own. There is nothing to win in Syria. It made me sick to hear that the US had a brigade on the ground in Syria....without Congressional authorization. No...the Use of Force resolution is not an unlimited or unrestricted authority to go tear-assin around the Middle East for decades. Congress needs to cut off funds and order the withdrawal of all ground forces from Syria....and the Ukraine. Only Congress can declare war.

21: Russian subs: Russia reported that it thought that its submarine reached the US coast undetected. How did the Russians know it was undetected? Maybe the US detected it and didn't tell the Russians? Detecting subs isn't like tag where one cries out "you are it." Submarine games are a classified and quiet endeavor. These games have been going on generally outside of the public's vision for decades. When was Hunt for Red October written? This section is rather interesting: https://infogalactic.com/info/Hal_Turner#Threats_against_judges_and_political_figures:
United States v. Turner
On July 28, 2009 in the case of United States v. Turner in Chicago, Turner pleaded not guilty to threatening to kill three federal appellate judges there and then sought his release from custody, saying he had been an informant for the FBI.[52] The judge gave Turner ten days "to produce concrete evidence of Turner's help to the FBI or federal marshals."[52] On August 11, Turner was denied bail again. The judge cited the fact that Turner, from his prison cell, recorded and posted on the internet a telephone conversation that included the names of his arresting FBI agents. The judge said that Turner's act "tells me something about the disposition of Mr. Turner."[53]
His lawyer said the defense would use "Turner's background as an FBI informant" and argue that he was "trained by the FBI" as "an agent provocateur" to incite people."[54][55]

Sounds a wee bit sketchy to me.

(Come on, Iraq? Really? Iraq wasn't involved in 9/11 at all: Americans may have been ... not entirely convinced ... but most just shrugged and 'went shopping' at they were told to. When the lack of control over circumstances (or govts) is so overwhelming, most people tip over into denial: 'What can *I* do to stop it?!")

The MPAI would be incensed (again) and ready (again) to send thousands MORE exhausted and/or unready young men to "teach 'them' a lesson!" (Whichever 'them' we get pushed into a war with! Hell, a quarter of this country can't even find Russia on a map! And most of the damned illegals have never ever SEEN a map (and couldn't read one if they had)!

I am PRAYING the Putin and Trump actually did have a 'meeting of the minds' when they first met; and Putin is playing along to let Trump get a solid grip on the rogue U.S. govt elements! Wasn't it the obamination who told some Russian (maybe Putin) that he'd have more leeway AFTER he was re-elected? And Fakebook's Zuck to told Muttie Merkel the same about her re-election?)

You don't bother to tell the cattle what's at the end of that long narrow fenced-in walkway! Why would ... they?

The fact that we cannot fight a shooting war with Russians and not suffer catastrophic damage, makes me think this tweet is just more gasoline for the fire.

Let's say that the monkey copies Russia sold Iraq really are the best they can build. Further, let's stipulate that Russians are no better soldiers, airmen, etc than the Iraqis.

They still have nukes. So we can nuke them first and lose a few dozen cities. Or wait and lose every major metropolitan area maybe a big chunk of our bread basket if they go after the Minute Man silos.

Neither scenario sounds remotely appetizing to me. Maybe because a year ago I could have survived either one now I would survive neither.

Somebody in the west wants the cold war back. This is just a prelude to that.

If you think there's an end state of a shooting war with Russia that could be described as "winning", you're delusional.

42: one nuke takes out Texas? Take a look at one of the nuclear weapon effects calculators on the web-- even 100 nukes don't take out Texas, well not completely anyway. Nuclear war is horrible to envision and helps make war not worthwhile--i.e. too much possible loss for any gain-- but it is not the end of life on the planet. That said it is the end of life as we know it-- if one is in the countries that are nuked.

We have far fewer nukes now than we did 40 years ago, and apparently far less thinking about strategies involved in nuclear war. Think Herman Kahn and his brand of thinking.

War with Russian forces was always something to be avoided in the past because of the issues with stopping escalation. It would be the same in Syria.

Our CVBG is powerful and we have established bases in the region that can support, if the countries allow, any US action. The issue is with the Russian and their allies response which would likely step up the ladder of escalation. Not a good idea.

Our proxies fight their proxies has a very natural stopping point. If we intervene- as in Korea and Vietnam-- it doesn't escalate as long as we don't take over their proxy with our forces. Russia is content to let their proxies bleed us dry.

The set of allies the Russians have put together might be stronger than our allies- so fighting in Syria to the point of defeating the Russian goals would be hard to restrain to limited fighting.

The easiest thing to do is step back form Syria where we have little vital interests, and the Russians have out played Little Boy Obama but... will Trump try to pull the Obama chestnuts out of the fire?

If we go to war with Russia does that mean we get White Christian refugees for a change?

@Davenport takes it as a personal insult whenever someone says anything positive about Russians and their military capability. never mind they beat the fucking Wehrmacht, they're incompetent, poorly equipped, and utterly incompetent.

If you believe the US could lose a naval war with Russia, you know nothing about either.

The US lost a naval war to unarmed merchant ships last year. It's not really in the best shape to take on anyone at the moment.

That's a little harsh, Jack. Merchant ships are a real threat; if only there were known sea lanes that would help to avoid them.

Blogger Frank Brady March 18, 2018 6:48 PM

A substantial fraction of our combat aircraft are not airworthy, our ground forces have been worn down by decades of useless fighting in pointless wars, something like 70% of Americans of military age are physically unfit for duty, the last domestically-manufactured main battle tank rolled off the assembly line in Detroit way back in the 1970s. Those who believe we could easily "kick down the Russian doors" have not been keeping up.

Unfortunately the Navy had to stop teaching "seamanship" because the name triggered feminists. Hearing "seaman" is a practically rape, you know.

Maybe if we rename the subject "Not running into things you shouldn't on the water" it could be reinstated. Probably not though, too judgmental.

"So? That is what submarines do. The only reason that this is reported is that the Russian military bragged about it to the Russian media. But the fact is US submarines do this ALL THE TIME."

Back during the Cold War, Russian subs could never do that -- their propellers were too noisy. They could literally be detected up to hundreds of miles away. Our underwater passive sonar arrays, using phased-array techniques, could track them as easily as tracking an aircraft with radar.

Then in the mid 1980's some moronic Japanese manufacturer (I can't remember exactly which -- Kawasaki Industries, perhaps) and some even more moronic Japanese export controls official approved the sale of a house-sized 5-axis milling machine to the Soviet Union.

Within years, our ability to track their subs by sound alone disappeared. Fortunately, there are other methods, but they aren't nearly as low tech as simply sticking a microphone in the water, hooking it up to an amplifier, and listening.

Blogger justaguy March 18, 2018 9:15 PM

The idea of a "Naval War" by itself shows a lack of operational or strategic understanding. There have been very very few "Naval Wars. " There have been a few temporary blockades, but in war, naval forces support the objective of the war which are almost always something on land. If the US uses a CVBG to project power into Syria, and naval forces battle--it is not a "Naval War" but an attempt to stop power form sea influencing battles on the land... In terms of escalation, ideas of US v. Russia, keeping the battles at sea seem to be unlikely.

America's aircraft carriers will be as effective against today's Russian military as the Maginot Line was against the German army in World War 2.
