Break it

The sooner that the political abortion that is the EU collapses, the better. Today would be ideal.
Merkel warns the migrant crisis will 'make or break the EU' if European leaders cannot solve the problem during summit today 'Europe faces many challenges, but that of migration could become the make-or-break one for the EU. Either we manage it, so others in Africa believe that we are guided by values and believe in multilateralism, not unilateralism, or nobody will believe any longer in the system of values that has made us strong,' she said. 'That's why it's so important.'

Merkel's Bavarian CSU allies have given her until the end of the EU summit to reduce the burden of immigration on Germany, which has taken in 1.6 million migrants since 2014. Otherwise, they will defy her and impose border controls, which could collapse the chancellor's fledgling coalition. If she fails to secure bilateral deals and show progress is being made to deal with the influx of migrants who have entered Europe, she will return to Berlin a lame duck chancellor, or possibly even out of a job.
Merkel has to go, the sooner the better, and Germany must begin to repatriate all 1.6 million of the migrants that she foolishly permitted entry. But if Merkel's idiotic action does break apart the European Union, we will at least owe her a modicum of gratitude for that.

The neo-liberal world order, or as it should more accurately be known, the Trotskyite World Revolution, is collapsing. What will replace it is not yet known, but a collection of homogeneous nations living in relative peace would be a worthy objective.

It probably doesn't help that the neo-liberal world order has as its public face the basically mentally and emotionally damaged wing of the D party. Even the PayCons cannot salvage any moral authority for that group of insane ranters.

And this is just the beginning wait till people start asking questions of the Left and from that act the remaining authority of the left will collapse.

Am I the only who thinks both the Germans and everyone else would be better off if Germany split back up into all those little principalities and whatever-ates? Was there ever a better empire than the Holy Roman?

1.6 million illegal Immigrants would be a great start, but it's time to realize Kohls plan to deport half of the Turkish migrants as well.

Still pisses me off when people think WWI was due to nationalism, it was a Serbian commie hoping to start a revolution, and none of the nations were wise to the depths of their political scheming. Killing a monarch back then unleashed paranoia among the elites & finger pointing. The commies lapped it all up, because they wanted anarchy. Still to this day, their schemes go on, but thank god someone in the U.S. establishment, the military, started fighting back. Talk about leaving it this long, it's clear their plans have been marching on since the 1960s.

Blogger Greg Hunt June 28, 2018 9:18 AM

If I read that correctly, Bavaria has the legal authority to enact border controls of its own volition, where by contrast Arizona does not have that same legal authority.

If that's true, Germany's federalism appears weaker than I had previously known, almost to the point of being a confederacy.

Blogger Gavin B. June 28, 2018 9:24 AM

I've never believed for a second that the EU/Merkel were pro-immigration out of the kindness of their hearts in wanting to aid poor refugees. Rather I think if you peel back some layers, what they really wanted all long was bodies. Socialism at it's core is just a glorified pyramid scheme, you need to keep bodies coming in at the bottom of it to keep the bodies at the top supported. I doubt they even care if the immigrants work and become positive contributors, confident that they can funnel tax dollars through them back into the system to keep it propped up.

The Eurocrats give little thought to the consequences of immigration being destructive in the long term, as long as they can kick the can along for the short term and continue to loot the system. When ultimately the shit hits the fan, as it will, they likely believe they'll already be firmly ensconced with their families in fortified bunkers.

Blogger seeingsights June 28, 2018 9:27 AM

Interesting point about German federalism.
Some German towns have prohibited migrants, see for example this article
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/01/20/german-city-bans-new-refugees-anti-migrant-mood-increases/amp/

So here is an example where the US could learn from other countries.

Incorrect. The CSU is a regional party, taking the place of Merkel's party in Bavaria. This is because Bavaria is largely Catholic, and the rest of Germany is largely Protestant, and the parties are the Christian Democrat wing of German politics.
However, as part of the governing coalition, the CSU has charge of the ministries that control the border. And they are under enormous pressure within Bavaria to cut off immigration, to the point that if they do not, they will likely lose most of their seats in the Bundestag.

So, Merkel either finds a way to accommodate them, or CSU closes the border. If Merkel stops them from closing the border, they pull out of the coalition and the government collapses, triggering a new election.

For years I have pointed out the irony of Stalin saving the world when he had Trotsky killed. Judeo-Bolshevism has too much tribal support and too many embedded agents to be ignored or dismissed.

Yeah, that could get messy. How do you decide which half of Turkish migrants remains? Plus, how do you halve them; down the middle or at the waist?

Personally, I'd prefer a split at the waist with the top half repatriated. That way the remaining migrants don't have arms to manipulate voting booths.

@ 11. Gavin B.

The absurd pension ponzi scheme is the official justification (which tells you how unpalatable the real reasons are), but this is objectively b.s. Looking at the empirical reality, rather than the boilerplate, what they are doing is creating debt-welfare "consumers" and manufacturing identity politics. The left need divisions to exploit, and race has proven more compelling than class as a wedge.

Merkel's is the weakest stuff I have ever heard from a political leader. That includes Baghdad Bob, who apparently had more honor. Merkel actually said the thing of vital importance was for "others in Africa believe that we are guided by values and believe in multilateralism." That's her stated grand rationale for this madness. That's the best she's got. It's amazing.

Blogger Stickwick Stapers June 28, 2018 10:59 AM

"Either we manage it, so others in Africa believe that we are guided by values and believe in multilateralism, not unilateralism..."

Soooo... a small globalist cabal making policy for everyone is multilateralism, and nations choosing to act in their own best interests is unilateralism...

I expect the EU and the establishment will act to save their own oily hide... and their phoney-baloney jobs....by sacrificing Angela Merkel, as wolf-meat for the pursuing nationalists/populists in Europe.

Once this pesky migratory issue is put to bed, the anti-EU parties will lose much of their appeal with the voters. The normal way to deal with the anti-EU parties is with bribes and intimidation, but they are getting too old and too big to spank anymore...and it would cost too much money. Much cheaper and easier to prick a hole in their balloon.

Without the migratory hoards surging down the country lanes in England and gang-raping the females, young and old, there would be little vested interest in leaving the EU. What the migrants have done is shock European societies into the realization that the EU is not the European Common Market. The EU expects much more control over the lives of ordinary Europeans and they intend to exercise that control vigorously.

Blogger Zwiebel June 28, 2018 11:30 AM

She never said that, I bet. She isn't that verbose or cogent. What she actually said was probably more along the lines of:

"Uhm... EU cannot break up... Uhm... We need to... Uhm... Make an example of... Uhm... For Africa.... Uhm..."

Blogger PCA June 28, 2018 11:34 AM

They see migrants as DCUs, debt-and-consumption units. That's neoliberalism, not "socialism."

Blogger wreckage June 28, 2018 11:42 AM

@25 The EU has nailed its colours to the mast. It is against borders and for mass migration. It cannot back down. Humans tend towards inflexibility, but institutions far more so; a loss of face might be painful for an individual, but it can completely destroy a political movement.

No, the EU will not take the infinitely Machiavellian approach of dismantling its philosophy in order to survive as a power, precisely because it does not have any practical power at all. It is all face. But even if it could, it would not accept the erasure of ego as the price of physical survival. That is not a price the weak and prideful can pay.

Blogger wreckage June 28, 2018 11:49 AM

@27, It's Keynes ascended to Godhood. But part of the rationale is that any problems will be plastered over via taxation. Remember, independence and saving is "wealth hoarding"; immigrants who consume and never save will be the salvation of all - take wealth from the unworthy, and give it to people who will spend it all.

In the end, the only ownership will be that enjoyed by the State, and that deserved, as it paternally manages its herd of mindless consumers for their own good. The pestilential and crass middle class will finally be erased, and a natural state of being will resume.

Low-IQ, low trust immigrants aren't a bug; they're not even a feature; they're a necessary working part of the program.

“Merkel warns the migrant crisis will 'make or break the EU' “

False paradox.

Blogger Ceerilan June 28, 2018 12:43 PM

An unsatisfactory conclusion to the migrant crisis could result in Bavarian exit from Germany AND the EU. No doubt Brussels is trying to break up larger EU countries into smaller states so they are easier to control, but since Bavaria would blame the EU, Brussels May fold on this one.

VD: "...living in relative peace..."

Knowing that the globalist/Trotskyites will never, ever leave us in peace, as demonstrated from the post a few weeks ago about World War 2, is the key to a peaceful future. I need to do some research on it, but I would not be surprised if the communists pushed World War 1 for the same reason.

The Neofeudalists moved too soon, as they are always wont to do. It's possible that it was because of the pressure of the islamics, who have reached critical mass, that forced their hand... but as Kratman says, "The Islamics have the most amazing ability to choose the worst possible time."

I do believe that this was entirely a matter of timing... the hordes of immigrants were ready to be deployed and were going stale... It's too bad for the EUrocrats that they chose to hitch their wagon to such a crazy ox.

I suspect that any 'repatriation' will eventually involve using the immigrants to fertilize the land they invaded.

In trying to figure out what you meant I found this quote of his on the Wikipedia page for him:

It is our interest and our task to make the revolution permanent until all the more or less propertied classes have been driven from their ruling positions, until the proletariat has conquered state power and until the association of the proletarians has progressed sufficiently far – not only in one country but in all the leading countries of the world – that competition between the proletarians of these countries ceases and at least the decisive forces of production are concentrated in the hands of the workers. ... Their battle-cry must be: "The Permanent Revolution.

Can you go a little deeper on this theme?

(I seldom get the chance, but a blind hog finds an acorn every once in a while.)

VICTORY LAP.......

I correctly predicted that the EU would cave on the issue of migration to save their own oily hide and to put an end to the anti-EU nationalist/populist movements.

They are ideological idiots (as you agree), but they will sacrifice the migrants (temporarily) to keep the EU together.....so they are not complete idiots.

In the not too distant future, they may again throw open the gates to Europe for the Afrikan and Middle Eastern invaders, but for now they need an argument to stop EU member states from exiting the EU.

In compensation, the Leftists want closer ties to Russia and longer arms to resist American (NATO) pressures. This also comes at a time when the US is insisting on EU members keeping their obligation to fund NATO, so the EU "army" may be sold as a less expensive alternative to the American alliance.

The Leftists must be well-pleased with themselves.
(I only wonder when they will loosen the ropes they used to tie up Frau Merkel.)
