Pretty much a bust

Well, there was a fourth "celebrity" death this weekend, but I tend to doubt the possible suicide of an unknown actor from a show no one ever watched was the sort of thing that Q meant when he warned of a "suicide weekend" being a signal of arrests to come.
The Goldbergs actor Jackson Odell is found dead in a sober living home in California, aged 20
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed to learn that The Goldbergs was not a show about the whacky shenanigans of a National Review editor-at-large and the wise-cracking mother with whom he lives.

There was a third death?

Blogger Nate73 June 10, 2018 4:13 PM

Wait, overbearing wisecracking mothers on tv is a product of (((them)))? XD

I am hoping that Trump can clean the swamp and that the hard cleaning starts soon. I was really hoping for a weekend of pain on the left. Perhaps there is more to come. Lock them up!

I was reminded of an old essay from '92 on the "Old Right" and their fight against FDR's move to the left.

"The most radical view of the New Deal was that of libertarian essayist and novelist Garet Garrett, an editor of the Saturday Evening Post. His brilliant little pamphlet “The Revolution Was,” published in 1938, began with these penetrating words — words that would never be fully absorbed by the Right:

'There are those who still think they are holding a pass against a revolution that may be coming up the road. But they are gazing in the wrong direction. The revolution is behind them. It went by in the night of depression, singing songs to freedom.'

The revolution was, said Garrett, and therefore nothing less than a counterrevolution is needed to take the country back. Behold then, not a “conservative,” but a radical Right."

not a “conservative,” but a radical Right

Amen. The name "alt-right" might survive or it might not, but the "right" that will save us is a radical one. This has been true since the '30s when Garrett wrote his small pamphlet. It was true when Rothbard wrote this and backed Pat Buchanan.

I don't know if Trump is far enough to the right, but he is further to the right than anyone to get elected president in my lifetime. Good on him.

But we need to go further. We need to tear down what the commie bastards have built. And that will be hard; as they do have Satan on their side. A formidable enemy.

Good thing most of us know that prayers to Jesus are definitely in order.

Looking at a picture of Odell, who I've never seen, he looks like the poster boy for a young kid who would have been abused by the Hollywood paedos (based upon the stories on CDAN).

His drug problems probably stem from that abuse. Not sure his "suicide" isn't connected to what is supposed to come down.

I wonder what the average life expectancy is of a Child Star?

Blogger tublecane June 10, 2018 5:33 PM

Mark Stoval- Garet Garrett did a lot of good stuff*, and actually wrote in a mainstream publication---the Saturday Evening Post--back when. Which I don't imagine would any longer be possible.

This may not be true anymore, but when I came of age it was almost impossible to make the journey rightward without using the "gateway drug" of Buckleyism. But after I got through that, I dabbled in various other realms. The one with which I felt most comfortable was the Old Right of Garrett, Mencken, Nock, and so forth. As well as more recent figures who resembled them, for instance Sam Francis, Gottfried, Sobran, Buchanan, Sailer, Vox, Raimondo, etc.

*The People's Pottage, the Bubble That Broke the World, the Wild Wheel, the Driver, Harangue, the Cinder Buggy, etc.

Apparently he wasn't asked.

Did anyone check Krauthammer for polonium last year?

Blogger Cloom Glue June 10, 2018 5:43 PM

@3 That 1938 quote reminds me of what drove the parents-of-the-boomers left. Those boomer-parents lived as teenagers in the depression and they attributed their poor childhood not to the Great Depression (stupid thinking, I know), but to a need for free-stuff for their parents, who "did not have a pot to piss in", to quote a boomer-parent.

I was reading hysterical comments from Canadians about Trump and trade, pertaining to this weekend G4+2. I think Canadians' personal and public debt to GDP ratios at highs worse than 1930s makes them especially vulnerable in trade negotiations. Some will go back if a no income big debt scenario occurs.

"A Strategy for the Right"

This long essay is a history of the right from the 30s to the year after the USSR fell. It was originally sent out in the old RRR newsletter. I recall reading it twice the day in came in the mail.

I think you would enjoy the trip through history as he mentions most of the names you did.

As a side note: I hated Buckley even more than you can imagine. Back in the day, Sam Francis, Joe Sobran, C.S. Lewis, and Rothbard were men whose works I read. I miss them all.

I guess they were all radicals. I guess the alt-right is radical. Seems to be a theme here. :-)

Unless it's delayed again, the first Inspector General report - on how Hillary's crimes were covered up - comes out June 14. Arrests before? After? Supposedly there was some negotiation on perp walks going on. I suppose we'll see how sleepy Sessions has been, or if he puts on the big Grand Inquisitor hat.

I knew Qanon was a LARPer fraud (and a Boomer) when he ranted about how “our real enemies are Nazis.”

Aaah yes, The Goldbergs.

A sitcom about an All American family set in the 1980s.

Named Goldberg.

The head of the family is a red blooded All American man named, wait for it,

Murray Goldberg.

Real true AMERICANS.

Blogger Stg58/Animal Mother June 10, 2018 7:05 PM

It's based on the actual home videos of the creator, who is the youngest kid in the show.

You're confusing it with "Podhoretz and Son." With Jennifer Rubin as Aunt Esther and Irving Kristol as Grady. And Andrew Sullivan as the store clerk who says "uhYeeessssss" and "uhNnoooooo."

Technically, at least in the central time zone, the weekend is not over. Also, with the findings due to be released on the 14th. you could consider the weekend ending at 12 midnight on the 13th. The 13th. An interesting coincidence?

Blogger Dave June 10, 2018 7:26 PM

The names are real. The show is based on writer/producer Adam Goldberg's childhood and family and his dad was named Murray. He did cave to sitcom tropes and made his brother his sister.

Now, what kind of name would the father have if Mr. Excitement was to write/produce a TV sitcom?

Blogger Dave June 10, 2018 7:40 PM

Turns out Odell and Vox had something in common, they were both singer/songwriters. Odell had written on movie soundtracks and one of his songs was used by an Idol contestant. I'd never heard of him but it appears he was a creative and talented person that met a tragic ending.

The Rothschild They Murdered

Mentioned on that page:

This mentions the apparent suicide of Michael Hutchence, lead singer from the band INXS.

At the time, the papers said, "autoerotic asphyxiation" and I'm thinking... you're the lead singer AND SONGWRITER(*) for one of the most successful bands in the world, about to start on a world tour, your wife is divorcing you BUT you've traded UP to Kylie Minoguie, you're you're beating off with a rope around your neck, rather than finding some girl to keep you company????
And he was dating Kylie Minoguie at the time...
I never believed that premise for one second.... it just doesn't make sense.

(*) which means you have a way with words, and in a way that women like.

It makes even less sense after I found out the rest of the story:

At the time of Hutchence's death, he was estranged from his wife, who, with their 1-year old daughter, was hanging around with Bob Geldoff, whom she was previously married to.

Other members of INXS said Hutchence was very concerned about this, as he didn't trust Geldoff being around his daughter.
Oh....and a couple years later, Hutchence's ex-wife died (heroin overdose), and who got custody of the 4-year old girl?

Bob Geldoff.

You missed the point. Yet ANOTHER show featuring a group of people that make up about 2% of the US population. Written and produced by them, too, of course.

How about a show about American Indians? A ((certain group)) is constantly on TV, the movies, the news, and everywhere in the media. How about another group? American Indians?

Hopefully people are wizened up to the fact that celebrity "suicides" are highly suspect. On a purely cause and effect model, sometimes they literally become worth more money dead than alive. On the esoteric level, Hollywood is ran by Satanists (just look at how many of their movies glorify Satan and the demonic, and let them win in the end). There is such a strong correlation to the writings of Aleister Crowley and the way the entertainment industry is ran that he practically wrote the instruction manual.

Blogger Dirk Manly June 11, 2018 4:59 AM

"how can anybody blackmailed by [Zionists?] speak and act truthfully. It's over."

It works like this:

Do this part of my evil plan, or I will make your name infamous in every household in the country, destroy your employment, destroy your marriage, make your kids hate you, and ruin your life -- in less than 12 hours.

Hey, remember that party, where Gene wanted to have a private conversation with you in another room, and as you walked in ahead of him, you saw a camera's flash go off, and the afterimage of all those naked kids on the floor and lined up along the wall... yeah, you'll do EXACTLY what we say...

Blogger Dirk Manly June 11, 2018 5:03 AM

You should see some of the pre-Hayes code movies. Even many of the silents were...deeply disturbing.

I didn't understand why some church sects prohibit their members from attending movies.... until I saw the sort of filth that both New York and Hollywood (ESPECIALLY Hollywood) film studies were putting out from around 1910 to the early 1930's.

Gratuitous frontal nudity abounds.

Maybe it has gone that way on occasion, but they need people to actually get their hands and souls dirty. It's a part of their rituals and black magic.

It's good enough for blackmail, to keep them voting for no border enforcement, and massive subsidies to "charities" for children who somehow make thousand-mile treks without parents (or, you know, just happen to get on an airplane sent direct by someone connected with the Clintons).

Blogger Joseph Maroney June 11, 2018 10:34 AM

They definitely have something in place to get what they want. It causes the irrational behavior of politicians and celebrities to suddenly make sense. I'm just more of the opinion that most of them are willing participants.

It goes deep. Some of them are even started out as kids, sometimes for multiple generations. It's common knowledge that many abusers were abused as kids - what often gets left out is the families' involvement in the occult.
