So much for the American Way

Converged DC is WAY past doubling-down now. Superman is all about refugees now.

Superman stands up for what’s right. Did you also know he’s a refugee? This #WorldRefugeeDay, be like Superman and stand up for what’s right. #StandWithRefugees and @theIRC.

These people are going to have a stroke when Alt★Hero #2 comes out on Monday. The digital edition, to be specific. Because Michael Martel also has a statement to make about immigration.

But it's not just the Big Two that are converged. If anything IDW is even worse.
IDW Publishing’s Editorial Director of Graphic Novels & Collections Justin Eisinger threatened to kill President Donald Trump and threatened violence against his supporters. Eisinger implied President Donald Trump should be taken to the guillotine and have his head chopped off just like they did during the French Revolution. But before he threatened to kill Trump via guillotine he promoted violence against Trump supporters by asking a reporter if she punched a Trump supporter in the face.
We're in this to win this. But this isn't a one-shot deal or a summer-long campaign. It's going to be a long march to take an entire industry away from our cultural enemies. Fortunately, they are not only evil, they are also sick, stupid, and emotionally incontinent.
Under Buckley's leadership, Marvel began successful annual publishing events that brought entire lines of books together, such as Civil War and Secret Wars, launched a series of reboots and rebrands and brought more ethnic and gender diversity to the company's hero lineup... The promotion is seen partly as a doubling down of the company....
Yeah it is.

Did you know Joe Shuster, creator of Superman, also produced violent pornography?

https://merchants-of-sin.com/2017/03/01/part-ii-the-great-comic-book-scare/

I hope you can turn the tide. It will be challenging as the comics industry has been (((converged))) almost from the very beginning.

Also, does “Eisinger” echo?

Yup... Every. Single. Time

Any refugee who can rescue ANOTHER refugee child laying in the train tracks, by STOPPING THE TRAIN WITH HIS BARE HANDS can stay.

All others get the boot

Oh, and this isn't a time for simulations.
One speeding train and one helpless refugee on the train tracks, or the test is null and void.

Remake the old SNL skit about Uberman, now a hipster not-taxi driver, and you have, er, Goldstein?

Huzzah for the Dark Lord, who creates a wet yellow streak down their SJW legs with the mere rumor of his spectral presence.

Blogger eyeslevel June 21, 2018 7:03 PM

So a refugee is now any member of a gene pool that creates a bad place to live.

Blogger Lovekraft June 21, 2018 7:03 PM

Grant Morrison's 12-parter All-Star Superman highlighted Kal-El's scientist aspect of his personality.

As a scientist, I would think that he would be about hard facts, but tempered with humility and understanding that man is not God.

So with any 'hot-button issue' like immmigration, I would expect a writer to avoid virtue-signaling and develop a story in which an issue isn't portrayed so simply: there's poor 3rd worlders, the west has money therefore it's the west's duty to take them all in. No exceptions.

Except Kal-El would investigate whether the host nation has the resources, the moral obligation, the reason these refugees's home nations are failing their duty, and any hidden political actors.

Such is the state of modern comics writing.

Blogger Michael Maier June 21, 2018 7:05 PM

From the link:

"Our refugees behave often like destroyers and rapists so please send Superman to save us.

Kind regards from Europe."

Awesome. And that Twatter account will be suspended shortly, I'm sure.

I wonder if I can wait for the print edition...

The father of lies - who was also a murderer from the beginning shows why evil can't prosper.

It can't make, it can only mock. It can't create Batman or even Catwoman, but some Cat-lady that there seems to be a built in mechanism that causes visceral hate.

Evil is self-contradictory, so has at least one if not more cracks that the slightest push will shatter, though not always quickly.

General Zog and the others were also "Immigrants".
Some Wonder-woman friend should go to her island, destroy the invisibility shield, and invite anyone to come.

Blogger Man of The West June 21, 2018 7:11 PM

Superman is not a refugee. He is a colonist. His parents chose to send him to earth instead of other planets to use his natural advantage on that planet in order to justly rule over and advance the savage, primitive earthlings toward kryptonian values. His overwhelming power and advancements allow him to easily dominate the natives. He even has a British-Empire style home away from home via the fortress of solitude if he needs a break from the weak-minded, uncultured humans. Though he was raised by humans, it’s not his mission to assimilate into them, but rather to make them more like his kryptonian home.

Blogger Man of The West June 21, 2018 7:20 PM

It isn’t as if the sci-fi world into which Superman was born wasn’t replete with other habitable planets closer to Krypton’s solar system than earth. Earth was chosen due to its relative weakness compared with Kal-El’s powers and technology. Plus, the kryptonians were aggressive eugenicists that breed through gene selection to continue and protect their ancient patrician bloodlines into hyper evolved posterity.

Blogger L' Aristokrato June 21, 2018 7:20 PM

"Superman stands up for what’s right. Did you also know he’s a refugee?"

There's no such thing as a "refugee", or "immigrant" as a single entity which encompasses all permutations of the term. The reality is, some people enter a country and become great net contributors, as well as a proper fit for their new home; Whilst others are all around a detriment, and inherently unable to integrate, even over multiple generations. Superman, if anything, represents the former. The people whom true Westerners want to keep out, are obviously the latter.
What the hell is even the point attempted here?! That Third-world invaders are just like Superman? How come they can't save themselves then? And why are their homelands, and everywhere they stay, such hellholes? I mean, If you want to make an analogy that works, those people are a horde of Doomsdays. He too was a "refugee"; Only his arrival and stay on Earth were both Third-World style.

Blogger tuberman June 21, 2018 7:31 PM

@Man of the West

Superman is not a refugee. He is a colonist

Ah, but is he promoting the old style "Kryptonian man's burden," or the post-colonial SJW version?

Superman constantly demonstrates concern for the welfare of members of an alien, "inferior" race, while fighting with "morally inferior" members of his own race. How do we know that they're morally inferior? Because of their near-total absence of Superman's pathological xenophilia.

Perhaps a more subtle precursor to the message later promoted by Avatar...

Blogger Quadko June 21, 2018 8:19 PM

Doesn't every human deserve safety in their own homeland? Why the evil of making people "refugees" in a strange land? Fight the trouble there and help these poor people live in peace at home.

Next democrats will be claiming they were just helping African refugees by providing transportation and suitable agriculture work before all that evil "northern aggression."

Wife and I purchased Avatar strictly because of the buzz, we didn't go to the theater to see it. Started watching, and were blown away by the skill of the CGI artists. As the movie went further along my spider-sense started tingling. I was almost fighting mad when I got up and turned of the piece of garbage. Wife kept asking me "Why'd you do that?". She's the type to sit and just absorb a movie, not thinking about it at all. I tried to explain to her about what was going on, but she didn't get it at the time, she didn't care. Now she does. To this day I have no clue how that piece of crap ended.
ps.
Never saw Forrest Gump, or Regarding Henry, or any of those other blatently "WE hate normal white heterosexual men". in other words we don't watch a lot of movies.

It's just lefTARDS enslaving people worldwide instead of just nationally like in the US. "They have to import them to enslave them" to paraphrase Pelosi.

"There's no such thing as a "refugee", or "immigrant" as a single entity which encompasses all permutations of the term."

"Refugee" is a misnomer. Since leftTARDS are pathological liars their use of language is ALWAYS specious.

Superman, brought with him, chain immigration of one do-badder supervillain after another. He weakened his nation by fostering dependence on his 'superpowers' rather than people learning how to be self-reliant. In a very real way, he has turned his earth into his slaves.

Superman is the worst sort of migrant. He has to go back.

(Not that in the first drafts and up until halfway through filming, this was the plot of 'superman v batman'. The plot was changed the moment Hollywood SJW's realized it was red pill and panicked)

OT

Tonight the Cowboy Crusade ended on a cliffhanger. Being on deck to deliver the next message, the meeting took an unanticipated turn. A buddy began praying for deliverance from demons for a man's wife. Then, the preacher who had just finished, took back the microphone and recounted his experience on being set free from a demon. Now up, I told the audience in a united meeting you have to listen to the direction the Holy Spirit of God is taking the meeting, so I followed suit and began teaching how to kick out demons. During my second point, the sprinklers came on so we quickly turned off the electronics - and since it was kinda late already, said, "You'll have to come back tomorrow to get the rest of it." Someone yelled, "Cliffhanger!" We all laughed. My first point was, "The church is many things; first we are a lighthouse for the lost, then we are a hospital for sinners, next we are a schoolhouse for saints, and finally we are an army of God to accomplish his purpose on earth to turn people for dead deeds to serve the living God." Tomorrow I get to teach Christians how to defeat the devil in open combat. Praise God.
