Two kingdoms, take two

The expected separation between Israelis and Diasporans is becoming more obvious:
A new opinion poll shows deep divisions between Israelis and American Jews, particularly in relation to President Donald Trump. The survey of the American Jewish Committee released Sunday showed 77 percent of Israelis approved of the president's handling of U.S.-Israel relations, while only 34 percent of American Jews did. Fifty-seven percent of U.S. Jews disapproved while only 10 percent of Israelis did.
As NN Taleb writes, skin in the game fundamentally changes one's mindset, one's perceptions, one's objectives, as well as the way that one operates.

But which group should be considered anti-Semitic, the Israelis or the Diasporans?

One must realize the essential difference between Israeli Jews and American Jew. Israeli Jews are inherently nationalists. American Jews are overwhelmingly limousine liberals.

I can offer one datum useful to that question: the Israelis have a high Mizrahi component (also Sephardic, trickling in from France and Morocco) and are thereby more Semitic.

Is it fair to say that many (most?) American Jews want Israel to go away? (However that may be defined)

I just get this feeling that a vast number of American Jews side with the hordes that want Israel erased from existence.

They don't want it to go away, they want to remake it in their own image, so they can have Jerusalem without having the responsibility of having Jerusalem.

The more elite Jews, such as the Rothschilds (who are not Semitic), usually oppose Israel these days, despite their part in creating it. Nationalism is a problem for Globalists, no matter which country

Use the biblical term. They aren't Diasporans, they are Strangers. Strangers in a strange land.

At this point many of the American "Jews" are not part of the tribe. Whether their parents intermarried, or they themselves had false conversions.

Regardless I've seen the worst flaming Leftist recover once they come to Israel and have to take part in building our state instead of complaining from the sidelines.

It's like air-conditioning in the south. If you are poor or middle class, you want air-conditioning. You want a house that maximizes air-conditioning- so, lower ceilings, a kitchen that has a door that opens onto the backyard. You want a picnic table. You might even want a pool. You want a nice place for all year.

If you are rich, you have a summer house. The winter house in town does not need air-conditioning, because you won't live in it during the summer. The kitchen does not need up to date appliances, either. You are not working in the kitchen everyday, if you're the sort of person who has that second summer home. The appliances at the summer home are inherited and quaint, and you wouldn't upgrade them, ever.

Diasporans aren't going to make Israel a modern, posh place. It should look like a place for grandparents- slightly shabby, rather nostalgic. America should not be built for constant living, either. Who needs a wall, or identity papers, or a functional police serving normal people? Why bother with good crops or soil health?

The people who made Aliyah are trying to build an excellent suburban house with air-conditioning. I wish them the best in all their endeavors.

The Diasporans and the Israelis share the same outlook on the goy regardless if the goy are in Palestine or Monroe, NY.

@15: Who cares what Israeli Jews think? Or Hindus? Or Muslims?

They have their own lands, their own myths, their own traditions, their own culture.

What they do "over there" is their concern, not mine.

Diasporans see white Americans as future Palestinians. We’re all goyim to be milked or slaughtered.

Blogger Ceerilan June 10, 2018 4:52 PM

This is the result of generations of self selection. Those with the desire and gumption to create their own country went to Israel. Those who didn't stayed. Like the British/American split in centuries past, this results in separate nation's with separate cultures.

Blogger Stilicho June 10, 2018 5:04 PM

Oh, the diasporans have skin in the game alright. They just haven't yet realized that it is their own.

No, they just hate incoming traffic coming from this site for whatever reason. Copy the URL and paste it into a fresh tab and it comes up just fine.

I imagine you'd also see much lower support for Trump among American expatriates than among Americans as a whole. Less skin in the game. Also, a tendency for modern, Occidental global nomads to come from the managerial class.

I think over the next generation or two, we'll see significant political shifts within the diaspora as the secular fade away and the Orthodox multiply. Mostly for the better, I imagine.

The foundation of the state of Israel is Jehovah's promises to Abraham. After all, the land was originally taken by conquest. If that's legit, then other conquests might also be legit. It's all kinda embarrassing to atheist jews who don't actually believe in God.

Did you know that American Muslims are more pozzed than White Evangelicals?

http://archive.is/oY5QT

In my experience, Americanized Muslims girls were some of the biggest whores that I fucked too. Many of the other biggest whores were also girls from traditionalist backgrounds/countries who have become Americanized.

It makes a huge psychological difference to be in your own home vs being in someone else's home. Immigrants are outsiders in the west. To feel like insiders, they have to degrade what it means to be insider. They have to naturally align themselves with degeneracy. That is how you get immigrants from hardcore traditionalist countries who come to the West and suddenly become feminists, LGBT advocates, open borders, anti-nationalist faggots.

Immigration not only degrades the host. It also degrades immigrant. This is why the answer to the Jewish question is Israel.

This is a bit of a problem for President Trump as the fundamental fact is Israelis can't vote for him.

How do US jews react when confronted with Israeli approval of a subject? Would being confronted with Israelis' different opinions move the US jews or the Israelis jews?

I really don't know the answer, but it's probably in President Trump's campaign interest to find out sooner rather than later

Just came back from a family vacation in Israel and one of the first things I noticed was the banners proclaiming President Trump a FOZ (Friend of Zion).
My Israeli tour guide said that the only Trump haters he dealt with are American Jews. When he takes them to the border areas of Lebanon and Syria they grow very quiet. When he takes them to the areas where Muslims live next to Jews and Christians, they go strangely quiet.

Living in a country where you have enemies all around you, Lebanon (Hezbollah) and Syria (Isis) in the north, Gaza in the south and then the West Bank, all of this takes courage and the belief in your convictions.

One of the most impacting moments we had was when we were traveling on Highway 90 near Beit She'an, our guide showed us a place at a kibbutz nearby where his son would be living and volunteering for a year before he enters the military (with other young people). We picked up an 18 year old Israeli male who needed a ride into town, nice young man, well spoken and he went out of his way to speak English. What an experience.

We stopped at several of these Jewish communities along Highway 90 and even though they have guard gates and fences around them, the two underlying attitudes that I got from these people was, hope and a can do spirit.
