Never trust a (((conservative)))

Perfidious fake conservative (((Jennifer Rubin))) urges the future shunning of the White House Press Secretary:
Conservative Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin tore into White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Sunday, saying she should be shunned from her next job for her false and misleading claims.

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders is so concerned that people aren’t nice to her,” Rubin told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on "AM Joy." “And people like me think that — not that she should be harassed — but that she should be shunned. The reason is that she lies. She attacks our free press and no respectable employer should hire her after this term,” Rubin continued. “Also, no university and no news outlet. She has lied and she has endangered the lives of reporters and that’s why she should be shunned. Not harassed — shunned.”

Earlier this week, the columnist declared in a scathing editorial that the GOP “isn’t fit to govern.”
If lying is justification for being shunned, then why is anyone on the planet talking to Rubin? Before moving into fake conservative opinion writing to derail Republicans, Rubin was "a labor and employment lawyer in Los Angeles, working for Hollywood studios, for 20 years."

Rubin is as legitimately of the political Right as Richard Dawkins is an evangelical Christian. And she's as about as American as Li Keqiang.

So Ms Rubin admits that the most important thing is to be invited to the right parties?
And whats with this "shunning" thing? I thought Rubin was a Jewish name, not Amish.

Blogger Longtime Lurker August 06, 2018 5:48 AM

What a ridiculous woman. She's gone from being Never Trump to being Never Sarah.

Blogger Silent Draco August 06, 2018 5:50 AM

A labor and employment lawyer. Makes you wonder how many lives she ruined with bad contracts, or literally filing people away forever. So Yenta, why no match for Sarah?

Another example for (((W)))RE faster.

I don't get you Vox, why shouldn't an Amazon-Lawyer-Journalist want an Amazon friendly Tax regime, and an Amazon friendly President representing the best interests of Amazon customers everywhere? You wouldn't disagree with Amazon's right to free speech would you? You aren't Hitler are you?

Blogger Mark Stoval August 06, 2018 6:10 AM

The leftists started attacking Sarah Huckabee Sanders from the very beginning. But the press secretary is just speaking for her boss the president. I have been amazed at the treatment of a press secretary because the press always loses when they take on Trump directly.

I fail to understand how situations like this one does not wake up millions of normies to the fact that leftism is a evil derangement.

If a civil war comes, we will have to fight the non-whites and the left-wing whites both.

Why aren't we shunning ALL the bagel-munching Bol$hevik$ by now, ESPECIALLY Those who pretend to be on the right, like ((($hapiro)))?
Their first loyalty is to the land they stole and their bank accounts. Anything beyond that is a distant second.

I remember with stark clarity when Jennifer Rubin first dropped the mask.

It was during McCain failed run and Sarah Palin had just been annouced as VP but hadn't given her convention speech yet. And Rubin's reaction to the news her selection was purest Proto-#NeverTrump, "well it's just over for =>them.<=

"Them," being the operative word. Not "us." But "them." It was over for the Othered.

If you want a truly amazing bit of projection on her part, read her piece in Commentary from 2011, titled, "Why Jews Hate Palin."

Blogger Al From Bay Shore August 06, 2018 7:10 AM

I'm actually thinking that what Rubin does is a hustle in the Anita Sarkeesian sense. Sarkeesian was never a gamer. I believe she was trying to find a way to make money off social media. She hit pay dirt with the "sexism and gaming" angle. She was never sincere about what she claim to support. She told lies to people who wanted to hear those lies and made money. The same seems to be the case with Rubin. And she is not the only one. Al Sharpton and Michael Eric Dyson, to name a few, are other examples of the "activist hustle".

Blogger Randomatos August 06, 2018 7:18 AM

"She told lies to people who wanted to hear those lies" - True, but in all of these cases they're also telling lies that people with gatekeeping power and money/influence want told. A convincing enough middleman improves the devils' sales-figures.

Blogger Nate August 06, 2018 7:19 AM

We should also note that by Rubin's standard every attorney on the planet should be shunned.

ok well maybe its not such a bad idea in that regard...

Blogger Nate August 06, 2018 7:24 AM

I just wonder why they haven't taken CNN's press credentials away. That's the obvious solution. And it would be hilarious.

Blogger Shimshon August 06, 2018 7:32 AM

@13 Nate, once they apply the "no lie" (aka no Fake News) standard across the board, CNN would hardly be the only organization to have their credentials revoked. Press conferences would become thinly attended affairs.

Blogger Dad29 August 06, 2018 7:45 AM

Suddenly "lies" from the White House are detestable?

Leaving aside the mis-speaks, exaggerations, or nat-security obfuscations, what ARE all these "lies"?

Or....more realistic.......who cares? It's never what they SAY; it is ALWAYS what they DO.

Blogger linesy August 06, 2018 7:56 AM

Sanders is attacked by the press for her accent and by everyone else for being with Trump. I think she handles the job pretty well, it can't be easy being spokesperson to the God Emperor after all.

We are probably 50 years away (given it took us at least 50 years to get here) from the guillotine for the (((pundits))). However, every comment from the Rubin and the Jeongs of the world move us one step closer. There probably won't be a country with saving in 20 years so let us hope that Jeong and Rubin et all continue to be very vocal and thatstrong white men help women understand the implications of the current trajectory.

You need to factor in the rate of acceleration too, not just the rate of speed. History doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it moves remarkably fast.

I've often thought one of the best propaganda pieces the GE could do in this regard would be to point a camera directly at the press during these briefings and livestream it on the WH website.
This ravenous, sick pack of hyenas would be shown for the fifth columnists they truly are and highlight the amount of grace SHS uses when dealing with their abuse.

Blogger The Deplorable Podunk Ken Ramsey August 06, 2018 9:57 AM

Rubin has actively joined the chorus of SJWs who are attempting to push opponents out of the public square. This is in addition to the ongoing attempt to delegitimize the last presidential election in what amounts to a coup pretty much. Then you have to consider the swelling cases of legal nullification -- California is even attempting to make its own treaties with foreign powers.

I'd say that the opening rounds of Civil War 2.0 are here already. We may not make it to Vox' 203x time frame.

Blogger James Dixon August 06, 2018 10:11 AM

> We may not make it to Vox' 203x time frame.

We may not make it past 2021. When (not if) Trump wins re-election their reaction may be enough to start it.

Blogger Damelon Brinn August 06, 2018 10:12 AM

They could have yanked CNN's access (or at least Acosta's) a year ago the first time he made an ass of himself with Sanders. Thousands of news organizations don't have a seat there, so it's not like CNN has a right to one. Draw a news org out of a hat and give it CNN's spot.

I get the rope-a-dope strategy of letting them continue to discredit themselves. But going beyond rhetoric and punching back a little would be so inspiring to Americans who are absolutely sick of the media. It would also educate Americans who have been taught the media can do whatever it wants without consequence because First Amendment.

Blogger English Tom August 06, 2018 10:27 AM

Wouldn't it be nice if, as per Maxine Waters' instructions, whenever one of these media scum were out at a restaurant with their families, a lot of people gathered and informed them very vociferously they are fake news scum. Let them feel the heat.
As for the (((fake Americans))) who only want what's worse for the American people, there is no curse in Elvish, Entish, or the tongues of men for their perfidy, and i pray their punishment is commensurate.

Blogger Lance E August 06, 2018 10:41 AM

"Conservative Washington Post columnist" is practically a trigger warning; anyone actually on the right knows to brace for an onslaught of lies.

Next we'll be hearing about a "libertarian Huffington Post columnist", "reactionary New York Times columnist", and "devout Catholic Harvard professor".

Blogger CarpeOro August 06, 2018 10:43 AM

"free press" being free of truth, scruples, etc. A vanishingly few number of people still believe they are free of influence or manipulation. There are still some, but they keep getting fewer.

It amazes me of the pure stupidity of people like Rubin. As if we cannot find evidence of the foul treatment of Sanders. The Correspondents dinner where Wolfe trashed Sanders looks, is all over the place. Serious disconnect with assholes like Rubin, they are liars and proud of it.

Kinda funny, since there *are* no respectable employers in the "profession" known as American "journalism."

Trump, VD, and many here are literally Hitler to the likes of Rubin and Littlest Chickenhawk. All those previous Hitlers in Iraq, Pashtoonistan and West Texas were apparently fake Hitlers. Wonder how many degrees of Hitler there are in the SJW lexicon?
