Just do it already

The way that Leave Tories have pussyfooted around taking down the EU puppet Theresa May was always bound to fail. All the talk about "a good deal" and so forth was nonsense, as Hard Brexit with no agreement and no payout was always the ideal path to independence. They should stop issuing threats, eject the Puppet Minister, and get on with it.
Fury is growing over Mrs May’s deal which has been slammed by both sides of the debate after she pushed it through last night’s five hour sessions at Number 10. The Prime Minister is reportedly facing rebellion within her own party as backbench MPs begin to file votes of no confidence against Mrs May.

Senior MPs from the Brexit-supporting European Research Group (ERG) – chaired by Jacob Rees-Mogg – are reportedly readying to trigger a vote of no confidence against the PM.

Brexit-supporting MPs unhappy with Mrs May’s draft withdrawal agreement have already been vocal in suggestions she could resign.

BBC political editor Laura Kuenssberg said last night “Brexiteer anger” is driving backbenchers to take matters into their own hands – and this morning three Cabinet ministers have resigned, including Brexit secretary Dominic Raab.
They know, they absolutely know, that a majority of the British people favor Brexit. So stop worrying about Jeremy Corbyn and get the job done. Do that, and Corbyn's Labour won't be a problem.

UPDATE: Why is anyone surprised that Theresa May did what she was always expected to do, and sell out Britain's interests at the last minute?
Theresa May is fighting for her political life today after Brexiteers effectively declared war - with Cabinet ministers quitting and an all-out bid to oust her. The Prime Minister is braced for a Tory no-confidence vote to be triggered potentially within hours after she vowed to push on with her controversial Brexit plan despite Dominic Raab and Esther McVey quitting accusing her of bowing to EU 'blackmail'.
The EU negotiations gameplan is always the same. Posture, posture, posture, then give just a little bit at the very end to their puppet on the other side in order to allow said puppet to pull a rabbit out of the hat for maximum dramatic effect. It's not working this time because everyone has learned to anticipate it.

And the idea that May is appealing to the loyalty of her cabinet members to try to salvage her position as Puppet Minister is simply absurd. What about loyalty to Her Majesty the Queen? What about loyalty to Great Britain.

They know, they absolutely know, that a majority of the British people favor Brexit. So stop worrying about Jeremy Corbyn and get the job done. Do that, and Corbyn's Labour won't be a problem.

Corbyn might actually be the Man Who Saved Brexit, given the situation in Parliament. If the DUP & Tory rebels vote against the deal, and most of Labour (ie and the other opposition parties) do so as well, Treacherous May's deal is sunk and we revert to WTO rules unless a new deal can be put together. Corbyn is pro-Brexit but many of his supporters & Labour party MPs are Remoaners through and through, so it all comes down to how much control he has over his party's MPs and whether or not he decides to torpedo the deal.

As for Tory party politics, the letters to trigger a vote of no confidence in Treacherous May are going in, so with any luck there'll be a new (and pro-Brexit) leader before long. I'd like the Mogg but will settle for BoJo, not too keen on any of the others though.

Blogger Jonathon Davies November 15, 2018 11:29 AM

To be fair, Jeremy Corbyn actually wants to leave the EU so he can nationalise everything. Theresa May doesn't. Hopefully she will go next week, there is a leadership contest, and we run out of time on negotiations and leave with no deal. There may be short germ instability, but long term we gain. The EU army frightens me. You know they will fill it with migrants, use it to put down Hungary and Poland, then attack Russia.

To be fair to the Queen, she stays out of politics as has been the custom for some time. In truth she would have done a better job than May and would doubtless have told Brussels to go and fuck themselves. If the Tories don't pull the plug on this bitch, even the incredibly unpopular Corbyn would beat them. This pussy rooting is causing pandemonium in UK trade and the Governmental bodies that govern iy because the EU has its tentacles into more aspects of trade than you might understand.

Martin Armstrong has repeatedly pointed out that Brexit is essential because France and Germany hate the UK, and will always outvote it on trade or any other issue. The EU also wants to regulate, tax, and therefore destroy London's financial markets...

Blogger cecilhenry November 15, 2018 11:45 AM

May always wanted BREXIT to fail, in total or at least in substance, as she didn't want Brexit from the start.

I realized when she called another snap election that she was TRYING TO LOSE.

Re: EU army

It's not that they are creating a new army. What this is about is the centralisation of the Command/Control elements of all national armies in the EU under a single command HQ that is only responsive to EU orders rather than their national structures.

Scary!

Re: still waiting for another Brexit vote as people got it wrong last time.

It's certainly not for lack of trying! The EU, the great bastion of freedom and democracy, has a glorious habit of ignoring popular votes that go against them. They did it to France, Holland, Denmark, Ireland.
These cunt's are relentless, helped of course by treasonous rats embedded within national political structures.

May's government could have taken Britain out of the EU immediately after the referendum by repealing the 1972 European Communities Act, which makes EU law supreme. Repeal of the Act is the only way to leave . But May belongs to a politically correct class of politicians committed to globalisation. She's done everything humanly possible to stop Brexit.

>I'd like the Mogg but will settle for BoJo<

I thought the same for a long time, but in light of Vox's SSH I believe the Mogg (Beta/Bravo?) would make a far better cabinet member/ advisor to Bojo's PM.

Not sure that either men are ideally suited for leadership, but both are way ahead of the other Tory options.

The Moggster has said repeatedly that does not want the leadership position and, very unusually for a politician, it really isn't a calculated ploy. A major strength of the man is that he understands where in a hierarchy his talents can be most effectively used.

Bojo wants the top job. Bojo has the bluster, the rhetorical skills and on occasion be quite the orator.

Unlike the barren Theresa May, both men are fathers of 4 or more children, both have studied ancient and modern history and have a detailed British traditions (in the case of Mogg an almost unmatched expertees in parliamentary history and procedure) and an excellent command of the English language.

I think Bojo as PM and Mogg as deputy PM where he could act as a brake on Bojo's occasional impetuousness would be the ideal situation out of the available options.

Blogger Pathfinderlight November 15, 2018 12:16 PM

Theresa May was on record as being for remaining in the EU up until David Cameron resigned. She then suddenly switched her position to leave, which from what I can tell is still a minority position in the Tory party, despite being the expressed will of the British people by referendum.

What I'm surprised at was how this switching allowed Theresa May to become Prime Minister. The idea that it was apparently not sincere was quite obvious up front. Is anyone genuinely surprised that a remain supporter would fail to properly implement Brexit?

- Shailesh Vara
- Suella Braverman (nee Fernandes)
- Rehman Chishti
- Esther McVey
- Dominic Raab
- Anne-Marie Trevelyan
- Ranil Jayawarden

Three brown men, one brown women, two white women and one white man. And the white man is married to a third world migrant.

On Brexit Vox has not a clue. The biggest Brexiteers are the first and second generation third world migrants and migrant importers who want to have third world migrants put ahead of civilised Europeans.

The fact that the majority of those resigning as ministers today aren't even properly British and were all overpromoted because of their skin colour tells you just who is backing Brexit - and it's not the real nationalists.

First, they want the UK to stay, because the manifest destiny of the EU is one of stretching from the Atlantic to the Urals. Second, not wanting someone to leave isn't a card in a divorce, you are past that point.
Third, a lot of the non-EU migrants voted for brexit because they thought it would let them get their families here easier.
Fourthly, While the people who voted for brexit mostly were people who wanted less globalism, and more protection/ism - the Tory party, and the people coming out against this deal from the brexit side, don't want that - they want More free trade, more immigration, more globalism.
It doesn't matter in the least what people voted for, because the Tories aren't going to that, they are going to deliver their Tory brexit - you know, like the "into the tens of thousands" lie, when are they going to do anything about that?, Never?

EEA is a free trade treaty which is the only solution to the Irish border issue. In its absence the negotiations will fail and the UK leaves the EU on 29th. March, unless a misleading fudge occurs and we continue as the zombie of the EU.

Cameron pushed the propaganda against the EEA(Norway) option and it was his first speech when he unconstitutionally assumed command of the remain campaign.

This remainer propaganda has been taken up by brexiteers, leaving them unable to formulate a plan which delivers the trade requirements.

In the real world free trade does not exist, just trade treaties, which either exist already or take several years to develop. Think logically.

May ruled out the EEA option in her Lancaster House speech of January 2017. As this would have been her only viable option without betraying the Northern Irish, her motives should be questioned. Is she maliciously setting up to fail, or just incompetent? A third possibility is malicious incompetence.

Bear in mind that any opinion that the EEA treaty would betray the will of the people is bloviation. I was there. I read the ballot paper.
plan A: stay in EU
plan B: there is no plan B, just leave.
In EFTA is out of the EU, a fact whether you approve or not.

Look, you lost.
Time to get over the bitterness and start dealing with reality.

No one here will. But he has no idea of what here is.

> Second, not wanting someone to leave isn't a card in a divorce, you are past that point.

Then you're past the point where what cards you do or don't hold matters, aren't you?

> It doesn't matter in the least what people voted for, because the Tories aren't going to that...

Then eventually the Tories will be replaced by those who will. That's the way this works.

Yet another story today about South Asian migrants enjoying themselves with underage English girls: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6398269/Rotherham-grooming-gang-jailed-total-101-years.html

This is what James Dixon wants: more South Asians, fewer Europeans.

As a reminder again, here are the names of the South Asian ministers who resigned because they don't want the UK to do a deal with the EU - they want a deal with India and Pakistan instead and for that to allow even more South Asian migration into the UK (there's already far more South Asia migrants in UK than European migrants):
- Shailesh Vara
- Suella Braverman
- Rehman Chishti
- Ranil Jayawarden

Martin Armstrong identified an 8 year cycle for sterling crashes. 2008, then 2016, next one due in 2024.

If the Tories dump May (please do it), and then call an election in early 2019 and win it, hard Brexit, sterling will rally against a weakening Eurozone. Then 5 years til 2024 and the next general election, when a Corbyn/Labour victory would fit the cycle for the next leg down for sterling. Be nice to keep the left out for 5 more years.

Your assertion that the EU is preventing this is disproven by the evidence above which you presented.

Blogger Le Regardeur November 16, 2018 3:28 PM

@ Dirk Manly

I didn't assert that the EU is preventing anything. It's not the EU's role or responsibility to prevent the dregs of the third world ending up in the U.K. The U.K. has complete control over immigration from outside the EU. Every year 100,000s of third world immigrants end up in the U.K. grabbing state housing and putting the welfare and health system under even more strain. The figures clearly show that EU migrants to the UK over their lifetime pay more in taxes than they receive in benefits, whereas the opposite is true of non-EU migrants. When you exclude non-EU migrants from Australian, New Zealand and Canada the burden of third world migration is enormous.

Those who want Brexit believe that the U.K. should have closer ties to India than to Ireland, to Bangladesh than Belgium and to Nigeria than the Netherlands. They forget that the U.K. won't be ruling the third world countries this time, rather those third world countries and their hordes will be ruling it.

Blogger Dirk Manly November 16, 2018 8:52 PM

Then why are you making the direct implication that if the UK leaves the EU, the flood of turd-worlders will get worse?

The two subjects are COMPLETELY orthogonal.

There's nothing which would prohibit an independent UK from preferring Polish plumbers who don't shit in the street to Indian plumbers who do shit in the street, or Paki plumbers who, in their spare time, rape 10-year old Brit/English girls.

Blogger Le Regardeur November 16, 2018 9:19 PM

@ Dirk Manly: You're completely correct that there's nothing which would prohibit an independent UK from preferring European migrants over third world migrants.

However, we've been told by those supporting Brexit and, indeed, the government that is implementing Brexit, that they want a level playing field so that the German auto engineer from Dusseldorf and the baby-mutilating Somali are treated equally. https://news.sky.com/story/andrea-leadsom-backs-level-playing-field-for-post-brexit-immigration-11241742

That doesn't mean it will actually happen, shit-head.
