Alt-Hero #6 in print

The sixth issue in the revolutionary Alt-Hero series is now available in print. Limited edition gold logo editions are now available from Castalia Direct.

Hell hath no fury like a superhero humiliated in public.

After the debacle at the Eiffel Tower, Captain Europa is determined to hunt down the renegade superhumans who embarrassed him in front of the world. And when Jean-Michel and Christian finally surface after spending weeks in hiding, the Global Justice Initiative is on their trail as fast as Shade can drive his supercar to Paris.

But there is a new player on the scene, a mysterious one with strange and surprising resources. And even a team of superheroes will find it hard to find a pair of young men inside the 300 kilometers of bone-encrusted tunnels that make up the Catacombs of Paris, especially when they don't want to be found.

I certainly hope that it is Martin Van Creveld hiding out in those tunnels.

Any word on the movie funding front?

Any word on the movie funding front?

It's coming. There will be a minimum investment between 1k and 2.5k for technical reasons, so some people may wish to form private pools.

Speaking of 'The Dark Hunt' - perhaps readers might meander to the Chans. Right now threads are being nuked related to the ritual satanic abuse that occurred in the McMartin case - similar to the instances outlined in 'The Last Closet'.

Paul and Shirley Eberle wrote a 1993 book called 'The Abuse of Innocence' - which questioned the veracity of child sex victims and stated the innocence of people accused in the McMartin case.

What is very interesting is Anon found Alan Dershowitz of Jeffrey Epstein fame wrote that that the book was "a wake up call to those who believe prosecutors and their experts can be trusted to do justice in the emotional context of child sex abuse" - in this case, from the perspective of the defence, defending accusations. Alan Deshowitz always seems to seem to present around these cases of child abuse. Always commenting. Always participating. Strange.

The Eberles helped form the 'False Memory Syndrome Foundation' the purpose of which is to undermine the veracity of purported child sex victims.

The ((Eberles)) also wrote 'The Politics of Child Abuse" which was the foundation for accusations that Prosecutors, parents and medical professionals consciously or unconsciously prejudice children's victim testimony. Since 1986 they have been expert witnesses in many sex abuse cases to argue against the veracity of child abuse. They were featured speakers at the Conference for Victims of Child Abuse Laws.

Now it is true that sometimes children are imperfect witnesses or testators to abuse. But Anon found something interesting - the Eberles are/were also prolific publishers of 'Finger' and 'LA Star' which contained copious amounts of child pornography. These included articles like 'Sexpot at Five' and I won't mention others. They also found the same people involved in a movie studio doing pre-internet movies for perverts.

Anons found that Irving Kristol and a Douglas Bersharov popped up in connection to Finger and the Eberles.

Post Wikileaks and the Last Closet and the ongoing Epstein law suits - the McMartin case like so many other 'debunked' cases deserve further examination.

The point is that whilst Alt-Hero is just a comic-book, there are real Alt-Heros, some reading the comic Alt-Hero engaged in real-life heroism. It should never be forgotten the true totally depraved evil nature of the enemy of truth and the good. I support Alt-Hero because not just because it is presenting non-converged comic universes, but because the conflicts it describes are very real.

Thank you - that's good to know.

It's getting to the point where I can confidently say that just about every thing I thought I knew through 50+ years of life was false.

Talk about a loss of confidence in society. This is going to be truly, hugely, epic before its all over with.

Yeah. "The Eberles were the most prolific publishers of pornography in the United States" said Sgt Toby Tyler, a San Bernadino deputy sheriff who is a nationally recognised expert on child pornography. The Tampa Tribute-Times, July 25, 1993, p 10.

Finger is a word widely used in the Elsagate videos on Youtube. Unbelievably - that is where it comes from.

The fucking most prolific publishers of child porn in the United States, just happened to write the book and found the organisations which delegitimized the McMartin case which was the most important case of the 'Satanic Ritual Abuse Panic' of the 1980's.

Somehow, this astoundingly consequential fact was never publicised by our intrepid (((Media))). Whether it's Laura Silsby being posted to Child Protective Services, or diversity officers and LGBTQ counsellors consisting of ex NAMBLA members, or this - the founders of the idea that child sex abuse victim testimony is intrinsically untrustworthy being prolific child pornographers - it's clear our society is sick to the very core. These are sins that demand vengeance.

Basically, it's very likely almost all of the SRAP of the 80's was 100% true - and it all got covered up. Except there wasn't an internet - so they didn't have to send literal IMDB paid crisis actors into Pizza parlours to magically shoot hard-drives.

Great issue! The last panel really opens up the lore as well. A lot of different places you can take the story. Looking forward to the omnibus and issue 7. Good to see that the fund raising info has been released. Does this mean that someone somewhere is writing a script and that a director has been found? I'll get it if this can't really be answered. Anyways, the comics themselves are awesome by themselves. The movie talk is very exciting though.

Just a quick question:

I was sent an issue (I think it's Avalon #2) that is missing the speech bubbles. Who do I send an email to for the replacement? Should I only send some photos or would you also like additional information?

I've had all the issues mailed to my sister's residence and I hadn't actually received the hard-copies until yesterday (it was like a mini Christmas :)

Thanks,
M

Also, I was looking at the Indiegogo website, and while Alt*Hero-Q is listed with a line through it, Alt*Hero is no longer listed anywhere under "My Contributions" page?

Anyone else having this occur?

We're working on having replacements sent out to everyone who got the so-called "silent" version.

The initial run of six Alt-Hero comics had an impact, like using a depth charge to fish in a goldfish pond. Haven't enjoyed a comic or graphic collection like these, or QM, for decades. Looking forward to purchasing more, as production continues.

Bought. Had to get the gold logo for this issue, it was too good!

Blogger IncoherentM March 06, 2019 6:59 PM

Darn, I just ordered and received QM #2 and Avalon #3. I wasn't thinking about AH #6 being released so soon.

As a side note, moving to the larger format was the right call. It really has a premium look and feel, and is a better platform for the artwork. I'm not sure how you are making a profit at $2.99, which is an incredible price point for what the customer receives.

Blogger JimR March 06, 2019 7:09 PM

heh, on the 'silent' issue, I got 5 gold logo'd ones, when I found out about the error, I bough 5 of the fixed ones too. No need to send me any, I figure in time, the silents will be worth more anyway :)

Coincidentally, I just read a section of Foucault's Pendulum talking about the catacombs beneath Paris.

Looking forward to G.I. Jones battling the sinister global order of the Rosy Cross.
