A lot of "renovations" these days

These unlucky church renovations and computer glitches are increasingly tending to take a tragic turn.
At least 156 people are dead in an Easter Sunday terrorist attack targeting Christians in Sri Lanka after six explosions ripped through high-end hotels and churches as suspected suicide bombers blew themselves up.

The explosions injured more than 500 people across the country, and 35 foreigners - from the UK, US and Netherlands - are among the dead, sources say.

Two of the blasts were suspected to have been carried out by suicide bombers, according to one security official, who spoke on condition of anonymity as he was not authorised to speak with reporters.

The official said at least 45 people had been killed in Colombo, where three hotels and a church were hit, along with another 67 in the church attack in Negombo, north of the capital, with another 25 dead at a church in the town of Batticaloa, in the east of the country.
The War on Jesus Christ is real and intensifying. From Paris to Sri Lanka, from Australia to New York City, Christianity and Christians are under varying forms of attack. But for all their rage and fury, neither the Gates nor the servants of Hell will prevail.

Christ is risen. He is risen indeed.

Deus vult.

UPDATE: Two more "computer glitches," or if you prefer, "suicide bombings" are reported to have taken place in Sri Lanka.

We truly seem to be entering a time of trials. A time where Satan and his minions are let loose upon the faithful.A time where faith is tested and our nerves are put to the test. I pray that all brothers and sisters in Christ be given the strenght to endure the coming trials because things will not get better any time soon.
Prayers for the martyred - and may justice come swiftly.
God bess you all.

Many Easter services will include the Litany of the Saints, an ancient liturgy in the Church to invoke the power of the Lord, His angels, and the saints in communion with those of us still living. As we ask for the saints to pray for us, keep this particular set in mind for the needs of the Church Militant:

Michael the Archangel,
St. Erasmus,
St. Barbara,
St. Maurice,
St. Sebastian,
St. George
St. Martin of Tours

All ye angels and archangels, and all ye holy saints, pray for us in our time of need.

Wishing joy for all of you on this day. They have the prince of this world and his minions. We have the stone rolled back from the entrance, the rolled windings, and a cloth folded and set aside. Christ is risen and is with us, now and forever.

Blessed Easter to you all. He is risen!

Last night at Vigil Mass, the priest gave a sermon that started with how St. Francis heard God tell him to rebuild His church. Not just the physical chapel of San Damiano, but the church body, the people.

Then, I was shocked that Father David Went There...he asked us what God was telling us with the Holy Week fire at Notre Dame. That France, the daughter of Rome, was under siege by worldliness, atheism, and the abundant presence of Muslims in France and the rest of Europe.

He said we must rebuild the church, body and soul, and to let the fire be a cleansing and a light in our spirits to go forth and do this work.

I was shocked to hear my mild mannered pastor say such things from the pulpit. But it was a pleasant shock, something I thought we needed to hear. He didn’t pussyfoot around the issue. It’s a small but welcome start.

Satan's push is strong, there are now very few obedient and faithful Christians left in this world. Just a matter of time before the liar officially attempts to merge the 'religions of the book'.

Are you ready for the return of Jesus Christ?

>'Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway'

All things I have commanded you. Who can forget the Ten Commandments? Yet, how many of today's Christians 'remember the Sabbath'? Do they blindly observe the fictitious 'Lord's Day' on a Sunday?

I'll happily give any brother £10,000 tomorrow if he can show me where in the Bible God removed our requirement to observe the weekly Sabbath.

No wonder famine is just around the corner, all the pigs in China, millions of cattle dying in America, sheep in Australia. His wrath is growing.

So, don't run the risk of Jesus not knowing you, observe the Sabbath, as the Israelites did.

The murder of Christians in the Third Wiorkd by Islamists is downplayed by the major media. To give another example, just a few weeks ago a British Labour MP (and pro Brexit) pointed out the lack of outrage about the murder of Christians in Nigeria, a Commonwealth country.
The murder of Christians in the Third World does not fit the narrative by the mainstream media. For the mainstream media, the West has to be tolerant and inclusive and Thirld Worlders have legit gripes against the West.
Islamists murdering the downtrodden and their own ethnic groups shows that the "root cause" is not poverty or alleged Western oppression but is Islam.

Hebrews 10:26-29:
"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?"

Sorry brother or sister. You are precise but lack accuracy. From my pastor,

>We don’t worship on Saturdays as the Jews did and still do. No, the first Christians met on the first day of the week, Sunday, to commemorate the death and resurrection of their Lord and Saviour. And we still do that every season of the year.

These church renovations and computer glitches will continue and grow in intensity until a single missile or MOAB is dropped on Mecca during the Hajj (or the even larger Arbar'een pilgrimage in Karbala, Iraq) during the annual pilgrimage. Our 2019 is the year 1440 in the Hijri year of the Muslim calendar.

We very much need to signal that the Muslims are more vulnerable to terror attack, due to the practices of their religion, than the Christians and further deliberate murder of Christians will not be tolerated by the West.

Until that occurs, we are only signaling our acceptance of continued terror and admitting a less than human relationship with the Islamists. We have every reason to demand and inflict the same or greater terror in order to end it. As long as we are willing to take a beating without response, they are glad to inflict it.

Blogger Duh April 21, 2019 11:49 AM

Reading about the Sri Lanka attacks makes me sick. Not just the attacks themselves but how the media pussyfoots around the identity of the attackers. We all know it's islamists, but all I hear are variations on "let's not jump to conclusions".

It will be downplayed and memory holed, just like every other attack against Christians or whites.

We're going to need a lot of guillotines...

No one says it better than Chrysostom:

Hell took a body, and discovered God.
It took earth, and encountered Heaven.

O death, where is thy sting?
O Hell, where is thy victory?

Christ is Risen, and you, o death, are annihilated!

Christ is Risen, and the angels rejoice!
Christ is Risen, and life is liberated!

Yeah, the pastor at the church I used to attend mumbled something about the Lord's day, but he was unable to explain why, nor to show me scripture that confirmed we could now disobey the commandment to remember the Sabbath. So I left the church.
You should leave yours too, unless you don't fear Jehovah.

PS, Jesus was in the ground for 3 days, 3 nights, as prophesied. Do the maths. Friday-Sunday is another satanic lie.

Blogger DrDeath April 21, 2019 6:33 PM

The burning of Notre Dame reeks of a false flag. The latest (((headlines))) are that the Gilets Jaunes are upset over the donations from billionaires towards the rebuilding of Notre Dame. Isn't it a perfect ploy? It's an effort to direct the hatred of the Gilets Jaunes towards the Christian and Catholic elite, rather than the Macron/Rothschild elite.

We aren't dealing with amateurs.

Blogger rocket-man April 21, 2019 7:40 PM

Acts 15 does away with precisely zero of the Ten Commandments. Unless maybe you have a version that says differently?

It does however confirm, at that time, post-Jesus, that the Sabbath was still being observed (note the word IS, not was):

'For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.'”

Paul knows that the Laws of Moses are very well known indeed, due to Sabbath preaching, but the gentiles needed guidance on a few specific matters that were causing them to sin (perhaps ignorantly). Many of the ceremonial and sacrificial and civil portions of the law no longer applied post-Jesus (and under Roman occupation), but if you want to argue that Paul threw out all of the ten commandments when he referred to 'circumcision and the law' in Acts 15, I wish you good luck.

Seems no one here agrees that the Sabbath needs to be observed, much as we need to avoid coveting, honour our parents, not worship idols, not murder etc.

I'm thinking this is why the 144,000 is such a low number, so many duped, still duped, who think they're ok, because...pastor said so, tradition, new covenant, Satan fooled you. Good luck to all of us, I pray my genuine fear of Jehovah will see my through it all. I pray more of you become obedient. Amen.

Blogger Zaklog the Great April 21, 2019 8:19 PM

@40 You know the sacrifices were commanded, right? So demanding why we worship on Sunday instead of Saturday while not similarly accounting for why we don't perform animal sacrifices is a bit inconsistent.

Tell me, when Jesus was here on Earth, did he write a book? Is the New Testament the work of his pen?
