German politician murdered

However, there are currently competing theories concerning the motivation behind what appears to be a politically motivated assassination:
German investigators have revealed that a popular regional political leader found dead in his garden was killed by a bullet fired at close range. They have launched a criminal inquiry into the death of Walter Lübcke, the 65-year-old head of the regional council in the city of Kassel.

Suicide has been ruled out but police say they have no motive.... Lübcke was a leading local member of Mr Bouffier's ruling centre-right CDU in the central German state, running the authority in one of Hesse's three regional areas for the past decade.

He came to national prominence in October 2015 when he spoke out in favour of providing accommodation for refugees. Germany had decided to let in Syrians fleeing the civil war, and big numbers of asylum seekers were crossing Germany's borders on a daily basis.

He reportedly received death threats and was given personal protection after telling a rowdy town hall meeting they had to stand up for Christian values. "Whoever does not support these values can leave this country any time, if he doesn't agree. This is the freedom of every German," he said.
It sounds like he may have angered both sides. Based on what they're reporting, it could be ultras, could be Muslims, could be Antifa. Regardless, it's almost certainly not going to be the last incident of its kind in Germany, given how many Germans have suffered at the hands of asylum seekers.

Is it not possible this could be the work of elements within the state structure, intent on intensifying division in German society, leading eventually to a martial law scenario?
I think this possibility could happen in other locations than Germany.

Dang — I wish we had politicians who'd say this here!

When things go, whether North America or Europe, I can imagine score settling happening.

I recall Selco Begovic talking about this in the Yugoslav wars. Rwanda, too.

What he meant by "Christian Values" was prepping Germany for the African bull.

Exactly. Read in context, he meant the Judeo-Christian values of accepting the refugee flood he was fostering.

Things are gonna get bad in Germany. Too much anger, passion, and truth have been repressed for too long. And it's always that way with German temperament. They bottle shit up.

My whole family's ethnic German. I remarked offhand that I don't see the world getting any better. My grandfather got real quiet and said, "I think there's gonna be a big war soon." Scared the hell out of me.

Blogger Glaivester June 03, 2019 10:39 PM

#4 and #5: Exactly. Given the context, he wasn't criticizing migrants for not assimilating. I have a feeling that he really only angered one side.

The sooner the better. Clarification is long past due. Unfortunately, it seems Martial Law is verboten in Germany. I invite contradiction, but that is the result of my initial research.

I pray for the soul of Walter Lubcke, a fellow Christian, that the murderer seeks redemption, and that Germany can find a peaceful resolution to its current situation.
While I believe that Mr Lubcke will go to Heaven and that there is always hope for sinners, the outlook for Germany is bleak. When Germany is troubled the rest of europe lives in fear of the future.

Germans can leave if they want to but have no right to stay in their own country? Yeah... Right

Blogger Solon June 04, 2019 2:16 AM

He wanted Germans to roll over and accept their fate of becoming the next South Africa.

That isn't a Christian value, that's a (((Christian))) value, and goes against God's will (Who was it that separated the nations? Do you suppose He might have had a good reason for it?).

Mr. Lubcke may still go to heaven, God's mercy is infinite, but I'm not prepared to say that the killer needs redemption: Mr. Lubcke was an out-and-out enemy of Germans, and a bullet in the head is probably better than he deserved.

Good on whoever the shooter is. If anything, more politicians need to understand that they're playing with people's livelihoods, and their own asses are literally on the line.

Deus Vult.

This is a perfect example of manipulative media. As other commenters already wrote, he did not anger lefties or muslims. He basically said any German who doesn't support the christian value of importing heaps of immigrants into Germany can leave the country.

Maybe it was the Mafia. His Wikipedia article mentioned that he was doing something against them. But not sure, maybe it was just some channer who thought it'd be funny to make changes to Lübcke's Wikipedia article

Blogger damaris.tighe June 04, 2019 3:04 AM

OT somewhat. A few days ago Jordan Petersen met Victor Orban, and congratulated the Hungarians on achieving self-determination. Daddy Dark Web Eric Weinstein, acting for all the world like Petersen's handler, says he urgently needs to speak to Jordan and that 'this is not good for the jews, somalians et al.' Woah.

Blogger Sylvester Corleone June 04, 2019 3:10 AM

The killing doesn't necessarily need to be politically motivated. A shot in the head from close distance sounds to me like typical mafia style punishment. Politicians entangled in organized crime are likely to be found everywhere in the world. Germany makes no exception.

The interest in foreign media surmounts anything in Germany. Drudgereport and now Vox and in Germany even the alternative media does not go deep into the case.
@lynnjyhn & @Gregory The Best
Here at Vox's blog we do not talk demoralising...so let's just say that I hope your opinion about the teutonic spirit is real. I allow myself to make the observation that going into the wrong areas in Warsaw you will get punched by Poles and in Berlin it will be Arabs,Turks or generally muslims.

Blogger Matrick June 04, 2019 4:44 AM

Doesn't sound like Muslims and it doesn't look like they'd have any reason to kill a politician who was betraying his people on their behalf. I don't see why the far-left would target him either.
If a nationalist was responsible, then I can't say I'm surprised or that I'm going to shed a single tear.

Blogger Jim the Curmudgeon June 04, 2019 4:48 AM

" telling a rowdy town hall meeting they had to stand up for Christian values."

Hilarious. The people running East and West Germany after WW2 did their best to turn Germans into atheists. Yet as soon as the plan shifts to demographic replacement, all of a sudden we have German politicians promulgating allegedly Christian principles.

Blogger ZhukovG June 04, 2019 4:56 AM

Anybody see an angry looking fellow? Kinda resembles Sir Charles Chaplin?

Blogger Sologamer June 04, 2019 5:12 AM

Perhaps there are yet Germans who don't like being lectured to that they must give up their country to Africans or they aren't good Christians? That kind of thing can make a man seethe, and perhaps one took it to heart so much that he methodically placed a bullet in the brain case of his annoyer. I certainly can't condone that kind of action.

He was outside alone at midnight on a Saturday after a beer festival. There's a good chance he got into an argument with a gentleman friend.

The only question is whether it was really an angry right winger or - much more likely - a false flag in order to push the 'fight against right' even further. @1 gets it right.

@14 Reread the quote at the end. The only strange thing about it would be the timing; that heated townhall happened in 2015.

Good news from Italy:
Since the European Parliment election, La Lega and Fratelli d'Italia have been riding high in five polls:
Tecne: Up 4.8 and 1.8
SWG: Up 6.0 and 1.9
EMG: Up 1.8 and 1.0
Piepoli: Up 4.5 and 1.0
Scenari Politici-Winpoli: Up 2.5 and 1.0

A couple notes I think are worth stating.

1. The Austria scandal is pure mossad.

2. Hesse, where this crime occurred is one of the states where one of the tribes that United against Rome in 9 AD hail.

2.a. Lübke is Roman af. He told Germans who didn't want migration to leave their homelands.

3. Others have noted ITT this looks like a pro hit.

2000 years and change doesn't change much, does it?

"Declared dead two hours later." Standard practice in Germany? If not, means he was probably alive for a time, which could play into the level of professionality. Single shot, close range. Found shortly after midnight, but did not release any notice of a shot fired. The article left out the leave Germany statements were in autumn 2015, almost 4 years ago. So, not a hothead from the meeting, though painted with that brush by omission. His statements are credited with pushing away millions of people to the “extremist Right.”

So, the age old question. “Who benefits?”

“Germany's tin-eared rulers ignored the fears of their own people and now they're reaping a Far Right whirlwind, writes DOMINIC SANDBROOK” (September, 2017)
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-4919674/Germany-s-rulers-ignored-people-peril.html

Blogger xevious2030 June 04, 2019 6:08 PM

Well, “who benefits most directly” might be better? No graffiti, no message, no claims of responsibility, right after the EU elections with the results as they were. At least none reported that a quick search of news brings up.
