AH:Q #2 on Bounding Into Comics

Bounding Into Comics covers the release of Alt-Hero: Q #2: Not Dead Enough, which is now available on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited.

Arkhaven Comics publisher Vox Day announced Chuck Dixon and Helix Haze’s Alt-Hero: Q #2 is now on sale.

Alt-Hero Q “explores the incredible QAnon phenomenon that is sweeping the planet.” The story takes place in the world of Alt-Hero and stars federal agent Roland Dane.

Dixon described the series to us last September:

“What we’re presenting is an action/thriller hero that I’m really excited to be creating. We’ll be inserting him into stories of global cabals and dark conspiracies that threaten not only world peace but the basic human rights of the individual. Our guy, Roland Dane, is an experienced law enforcement professional who has to drop out of the system to act as an operative for the mysterious organization he knows only as Q. Roland is a little rough around the edges and his methods are often direct but he’s one man trying to make a difference for all of us.”

The series was originally crowdfunded on IndieGoGo and trended #1 on the crowdfunding website when it first launched.

How very kind of them. BiC rubbed hot sauce into an open SJW wound.

Great story.

I haven't emotionally invested in Q Anon as my concern is that could be used as a ploy to harm the nationalist right. Who knows Q Anon's crendentials? Be measured and wary in such too good to be true sources.

I expected more of a review of the actual book, hopefully that will come later

This book is a damn fine political thriller. I'm looking forward to more of this.

Does the Alt-Hero:Q books take place in the same world as the main Alt Hero books? As much as the inner 12 year old in me likes the capes smashing one another, I'm really interested in the politics of the four pole alternate history that the Alt Hero world resides in...

Be measured and wary in such too good to be true sources.

Zip it cucky. You live in fear and you will be useless as long as you continue to do so.

The idea that something that is widely believed turning out to be false will somehow "harm" a movement is total nonsense. When has that EVER happened, even once, to the Left or to the Right?

No Vox, I'm anything but a cuck.

That is straight-up cuckthink. This is no place for concernery, even deep concernery. Hope is good. Hope is not to be feared.

Re 11. Even infogalactic expresses my concerns and for the same reasons. Anyone can claim to speak for anyone on the Internet. An anonymous source can speak through a respected person to add credibility. I can think of three things that were claimed to happen that were bunk. That could certainly be that disinfo agents posed as this source to pollute the intel.

In American history, we can look at John Roberts and even Kavanaugh as strict constitutionalists who experts felt would vote one way, until they did not. See Obamacare. American citizens can be fooled into trusting those who may not have our best interest at heart.

You know I admire you. I believe nearly identical to what this anonymous source says and that predates this source by decades. I have collected comics since the Bronze Age and have a substantial collection. I want serious graphic novels out there and pray for your success.

You're missing the point, Fergus. "Be measured and wary" is bad advice. It's straight out of General McClellan's Art of War.

I am simply telling you to stop giving people bad advice. No matter how you justify it.

How, exactly? By disillusioning them? Do you really think people aren't already disillusioned?

Look, the Qanon movement is huge by fringe movement standards, but it's still a fringe movement. It minuscule at the national level and even the vast majority of Q followers only hope it's true. They're not true believers.

The simple fact is that even if Q is a complete larp, it's not going to affect the overall nationalist movement.

I got this issue in an email a few days back and read it right away. The art and the story were both very well done. I can't wait for the third issue.

Good story so far. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Read and reviewed on Amazon. It's as good as the first one.
