Creepy Joe is over

The mainstream media has abandoned Joe Biden:
Joe Biden risks a humiliating third or fourth-place finish in Iowa early next year, according to nearly a dozen senior Democrats in the state who attribute it to what they see as a poorly organized operation that has failed to engage with voters and party leaders.

With fewer than 100 days until the Feb. 3 caucuses, Biden is failing to spend the time with small groups of voters and party officials that Iowans expect and his campaign’s outreach has been largely ineffective, according to 11 senior Democrats in the state. They worry that could send Biden to a crippling loss behind Elizabeth Warren and Pete Buttigieg, who have highly organized campaigns in Iowa, said the Democrats, most of whom spoke on condition of anonymity to speak candidly about the campaign.
They know the God-Emperor would destroy him, so they want him out of the race as soon as possible. Warren is the media's candidate; they'll disqualify Buttigieg as soon as he actually looks viable because there is no way they want him as the actual nominee.

For Democrats, the gay candidate has become the equivalent of the black candidate for Republicans. Everyone feels good about supporting him in the early going, and everyone knows perfectly well that he will never be the nominee.

The Audacious Epigone is usually pretty good at political predictions. He's said for months now that the stories of Biden's demise are media creations, not reality.

Not that I disagree that the media et al want Biden out and Warren in. I just suspect Democratic primary voters are going to vote for Biden anyway.

Joe was the "moderate" safe play. The party has moved further left than they've ever been, but the rust belt and unions have not. It's been interesting to watch, as the loony coasts drive the party narrative left, Trump resonates more with the rust belt/unions.

Joe is extremely vulnerable with respect to the Ukraine impeachment narrative. He's on video admitting that did exactly what they're accusing Trump of. The further they push impeachment, the more vulnerable he is.

@1 Clearly the media wants Slow Joe gone, but the Real Clear Politics polling collections show Biden sitting at #1 or #2 in virtually every survey and location. He isn't going anywhere...yet. As we know the pollsters are pretty good at twisting data to suit their purposes, one can easily imagine Biden's support must be even stronger than what is being reported. Since there's no way anyone is voting for Joe thinking he's true presidential timber, it definitely speakers volumes about what the average Dem voter thinks about all the rest. It also suggests that not only does the MSM no longer hold sway with those on the right, but it's also losing its mind-meld on those of the left.

Blogger Taqiyyotomist October 29, 2019 11:48 AM

It's interesting how these people attribute any loss to defects in process and strategy, and the organization of "operations" but never to the man himself, and his character.

That old, senile "white male" had very little chances from get go against such paragons of virtue like Pocahontas, the sodomy guy and "free stuff for everyone" Sanders.
One thing will become very obvious to everyone tho is Trumps true face after elections, because he will be free to do things without ANY need to look back and think about reelection. He has had power to do much, yet he has done almost nothing, some argue that he had to put things in place in first 4 years, get reelected and then we will see true swamp draining, well time will tell.

@21 Ingot9455

"Remember that Iowa is a caucus system and all dependent on showing up in a gymnasium.

It's even worse than your portray. Unlike Republican caucuses, the Democrats require those who show up to publicly vote, allowing shaming and worse tactics to determine the outcome. Hillary didn't win any of those except in American Samoa, and tied in the Guam caucuses. Except for South Carolina, she didn't do badly early on, even won Super Tuesday by a hair.

The biggest thing these early caucuses and primaries did was to of course make it a two person race, and eliminate the perception that Hillary was inevitable. Her management of her campaign was also characteristically incompetent, until February 10th she had a Hispanic woman in charge who locked herself in her office in the afternoons to watch telenovelas. She was replaced by the black woman who was her White House chief of staff, most famous for being caught by the Secret Service removing documents from Vince Foster's office the night he was found dead.

I bring up some of this because Hillary's showing every sign she wants to try again.

I find it peculiar that so many alleged Democrats (kooky socialist and near communists in the mix) even bother to run. Obviously an incumbent president is and extremely tough foe. Losing puts a black mark on any Democrat as the stain of being a loser. Poor showings just enhance that tarnished image.

What a colossal waste...and frankly silly.

The Democrats only chances were a genuine scandal or a political dirty tricks campaign with the latter typically backfiring. And then a boy or girl scout running coupled with a populist message with broad based appeal tied to economic gain like job creation or an increase in net worth.

Think about it. The opposite is true in every case.

Blogger Stg58/Animal Mother October 29, 2019 1:19 PM

Fergus,

Trump broke their brains. They have no one else, due to their own party political demographics.

Blogger Stilicho October 29, 2019 1:20 PM

Right now the DNC is just using Biden as a stalking horse to get the FBI to investigate his abuse of office in return for bribes (direct and through his son, etc.) so that they can claim moral equivalency as the investigation and prosecution of deep state actors involved in the coup attempt/FISA abuse/fake dossier/illegal surveillance/perjury/treason and related efforts to illegally elect Hillary and overthrow the Trump administration unfolds.

Well that, and the fact that Creepy Joe is a pedophile like the rest of them, so he'll always be one of the in-crowd for the globohomo set.

For Democrat's, losing is a badge of honor. That's what intersectionality Pokemon is all about -- how many excuses can someone find to blame for their failure to succeed at anything. The bigger the pile of excuses, the more "support" they claim they are owed and thus due towards them at everyone else's time, headaches, and expense.

Well...while the national right can gleefully enjoy the losers wallowing in their failures, the unfortunant truth is the millennials have a very high likelihood of being socialists and voting that way, and even communism and anarchism appeals to them too.

Feel free to challenge those assertions. Ultimately boomers like me will pass away and the USA could see as radical a sea-change as happened in the UK. There you had Churchill lose to wildly socialist folks. England didn't recover until Thatcher and a case could be made that it NEVER recovered.

There is some indicators that zoomers (Gen Z) may end up rejecting whatever Millennials embrace. The continuing erosion of the family, the middle class (largely due to feminism/globalism/inflation), and Christianity in the USA strongly affects the zoomers.

Blogger boogeyman October 29, 2019 2:10 PM

As someone else said, straight black and Hispanic guys aren't going to vote for an openly gay, painfully white dude who's married to another dude named Chasten. At the same time there have been a number of polls over the last year that show black approval for the God-emperor hovering around 25%. If Democrats get less than 15% of the black vote (I believe that's the number)it becomes mathematically impossible for them to take the White House.

It will be sweet seeing Trump re-elected with Reagan like margins, but it would be almost as sweet watching the reaction if it's the black vote that puts him over the top. Imagine the left screeching to blacks that they're all a bunch of Uncle Toms.

Blogger Nikolai Collushnikov October 29, 2019 2:12 PM

Biden has been doing well in aggregate polling the last six months, and his recent poll numbers have been back up to normal. Biden's numbers almost never drop below 27% and usually hovers around 30%. While they flip between second and third place, Bernie and Warren never seem to get much above 24% and usually second place hovers around 20%. That's a consistent 10% difference.
My take is that Biden, for all of his faults, is the typical Democrat's guy.
The Democrat mainstream is hungry for a white, male, pro labor moderate.

Too bad the Democrat bench is so empty.

Blogger ThatWouldBeTelling October 29, 2019 2:35 PM

The examples of Jimmy Carter and G. H. W. Bush show why it's not insane to try to beat an incumbent president. A lot of thing can change from when the campaign starts to a year and half later when it's decided. The economy can go bad, and this can be engineered by the opposition. A President can betray too much of his base, too many of his promises (and in the "Read my hips" example, rub it in the nose of his base). Fatal foreign policy reverses can happen, that's another thing not entirely under a President's control.

Or look at Bernie, suppose Trump has a heart attack, but doesn't recover enough, then the opponent is conventional Republican Pence instead of effective bomb thrower Trump.

To quote Glenn "Instapundit" Reynolds when he forwards good news about this election, "Don't get cocky, kid." https://pjmedia.com/instapundit/346431/

Blogger DonReynolds October 29, 2019 2:41 PM

The party nominee, properly understood, is not the majority opinion of the party, or the consensus candidate, or the person best able to carry the party platform forward, or the one that can check off the most protected classes, or the one that the media likes the most, or the person with the richest donors.

The party nominee is (hopefully) the person who can win a general election. That means, not only energizing the party faithful to show up and vote, but also win more of the independent voters than the other party nominee.

American politics has evolved into thirds. One third consistently vote for one party, another third vote for the other party, and the remaining third have no nominee...so they cast the deciding vote on election day.

The question of winning the general election is a bit like designing a battleship. It is not enough to be able to deliver terrible punishment on the opponent. For the ship to win, it must be able to take equally terrible punishment (or worse) in the course of the battle...and there is always the unexpected submarine or mine in the water.

Blogger Azure Amaranthine October 29, 2019 2:46 PM

Now every kook has joined the Democrats to such a degree that it's no longer the party of Andrew Jackson. That will implode as it's unsustainable. The center cannot hold and friendly bipartisan bills cannot be easily passed.

The Dems can pass articles of impeachment without meeting the Senate's conditions for holding a trial - i.e., denying Trump the due process that criminal defendants in common law nations typically enjoy. There are three main reasons to have hope.

Donald Trump was originally a typical Labor Democrat circa 1970. That gives me hope as he joined the Republicans and here we are today as a former Democrat saved us from Hillary Clinton's mad saber rattling. Never forget Obama loathed Hillary and openly mocked her while campaigning, but then had to have her in the State Department but was NOT forced to make her the VP.

Melania openly saying the Lord's Prayer made me weep with joy. We had a First Lady again.

Now many Democrats are walking away and voting Republican...including minorities.

Thede are valid reasons to hope.

I bring up some of this because Hillary's showing every sign she wants to try again.

Until Trump, the Democrats were constantly winning because the Republicans kept cucking. And in the meantime, the Democrats really came to believe that women 'n minorities were just as competent and intelligent as white men, rather than it was because Republicans were cucking for them.

Meanwhile, all white men who prefer adult women left the Democrat party.

It's funny to see the Democrat rage over the last few years as they simply can't understand why they're not winning any more. They really got high on their own supply of BS, and coming down from it has been a b!tch.

Blogger Nikolai Collushnikov October 29, 2019 5:51 PM

No, Democrats recked themselves with Identity Politics when they should have been stirring the melting pot. They now have multiple factions that hate each other and demand that they have their turn and that any candidate look like them. Looks are important. They obviously can't do that without large portions of their base will staying home. That's primarily why Hillary only manage 48% of the vote in spite of large portions of the neocon and establishment Republicans voting for her along with many normies.
Ironically, the Democrats have painted themselves into a corner where only milquetoast white men can win the nomination. Whites are now the plurality of a fractious party that can only nominate someone who pleases enough middle class / working class whites and anyone who choses to side with them.

The fall off in the black vote is largely what killed her in 2016. its not the only thing but it was a big one.
That's why all the polls were a Hillary lock.
The pollsters never adjusted their models to assume a smaller black turnout.
They assumed Obama numbers which is pretty retarded.

Ford was never elected to office and Bush lied through his teeth to his base (plus he had Perot to deal with). None of that applies to Trump.

> So far this Quid Pro Quo doesn't seem to qualify.

Of course it doesn't qualify. Foreign affairs are the domain of the executive, and the President can do things like that if he wants. Even if he did what they claim, which he didn't, it's perfectly legal.

Because it's by the same people.

The majority will, yes. But not the 95% the Dem's need to win.

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/2019/10/28/pelosi-calls-house-vote-to-affirm-speaker-impeachment-inquiry-the-house-never-authorized/#more-174809

Speaker Pelosi is holding a vote, a resolution, to affirm her previous declaration of a House “inquiry”. The resolution is currently being written by Lawfare. Pelosi is not delivering a House “Resolution on Impeachment” for a vote, because if she did hold a vote on an impeachment resolution, the minority and the Executive branch would gain rights therein.

This is a House vote to show support for Pelosi’s previous unilateral decree. Right now the rules committee is adding language to the resolution that will provide additional one-sided support for a completely partisan process: “and for other purposes”.

The rules for an “impeachment investigation” would provide rights for the minority and also rights for the Executive branch.

So instead of having a House vote to authorize an impeachment investigation, with subsequent rights for the minority; they are having a House vote to affirm the “impeachment inquiry” with an entirely different set of House rules that do not include rights for the minority.

the fragility of the dem coalition is under rated. they not only have to get 90 percent of the black vote... the black turnout also has to be very high. if either fails they lose. no matter what.

Yep. That's why - despite having the fix in back in 2008 - Hillary had to step aside for Obama. As soon as he showed any possibility of winning the Donk nomination, they had to nominate him. If they didn't, not only would they lose the Presidency, they'd be obliterated up and down the ballot and at the state level as Black voters stayed home with a sense of betrayal.

I suspect the minority minority members of the D coalition noticed too, and now they have the same problem with Blacks, Hispanics, Ethiopians, Fluids, etc. If we had a parliamentary system, it would work better as all the ethnic parties could form their coalition government after the election. But our two-party system, as screwed up as it is, at least demands the parties negotiate their deals ahead of the election and let the voters vote on a more-or-less complete package.

A central aspect of some atheistic satanism is that they ritually desecrate Christian iconography by various means to cause a psyop. Meanwhile they propose godhood is effectively plausible through technology. It's self worship. This is why the technocrats are trying to achieve immortality by controlling the issues in cell division with shortending telomeres. Alternatives are uploading consciousness. Another is head transplants. Another is trying brain stimulation in a manner reminscent of CPR and shocking the heart. The latter they wish to do on pigs to test and see if glucose utilization revealed in PET scans shows consciousness is intact or causes brain damage. Chilling the body is being attempt as doing so in drowning victims seems to delay brain damage and resuscitation.

The pure satanists hope to have extreme power after death and to delay death in their mortal bodies by negotiating with Hellel ben Shahar (aka Lucifer).

the question of whether Joe is over or not hinges on the Super Delegates ... and who controls them.

Hillary will run again if anyone will pay her to do so. but that's true of most of the field. as noted above, a lot of this is about the opportunity to launder campaign contributions.

the real question is if the Democrats are so stupid that the Super Ds are still run by Hillary. it's clear that she's still the queen bee to most of the fags and whores in the national media.

@Jack Amok

You raise an interesting point. I’ve always been intrigued by parliamentary and coalition governments, but I guess I never quite understood those that refer to it as a means of criticizing the American system because it becomes fairly obvious upon observation that our two parties are pre-election coalitions and not nearly as monolithic as people want to pretend (though that’s not to downplay how similar and in cahoots they can be as well). It’s more a matter of - coalition now or coalition later? Now just seems more reasonable. Though I get distrustful of Westminster parliamentary system advocates; I dislike the idea of Congress voting for the president. No. I want them at each other’s throats. That’s kind of the point. I read somewhere once- if you have a highly efficient government, you’re probably living under a dictatorship. Inefficiency is one of the key purposes of the system as it is.

There are no protections for political candidates beyond GOPe cuckery. Candidate Hillary or Candidate Biden would be totally vulnerable if we had a shitlord running the show instead of a crypto-leftist cuckservative. Oh, wait, we do! Maybe ``running for political reasons'' won't work for the Left.

It's more complicated than that. Republics die hard when losing an election results in prison or worse. So for the US it's up to political parties to not nominate blatant criminals like Hillary if they want to preserve the Republic, which of course the Democrats don't give a damn about, despite it being a primary structure that literally allows them to stay alive while residing in the US.

Trump has a number of awful choices: try to throw everyone from Obama on down in prison for their high treason against the system. That would probably start Civil War 2.0. Try to throw enough people one step below them in prison, which is what we're hoping is happening now, while making it clear they were taking orders from Obama. Or not fight the Deep State hard enough to do the later, which it's clear was what happened after Sessions went post turtle and the Deep State was allowed to continue its conspiracy against Trump.

Trump also has to avoid giving the GOP Congressional cucks an excuse for impeachment, no one should doubt the necessary majority existed while Ryan was Speaker, or that a Senate super-majority exists, the only thing holding them back is fear of voters and the people who might respond with "Second Amendment remedies."

And I suppose it was GOPe cuckery that allowed for example Comey to white wash Hillary's blatant crimes as Secretary of State, they had control of the Congress and could have exposed it in hearing, even though they didn't have the votes for impeachments of officials below Obama. What were real, genuine Constitutional traitor McConnell's first words to Team Trump after the election? "I don't want to hear anything more about 'the Swamp'."

See Secret Empires by Peter Schweizer for details on McConnell's treason along with his Paper American's wife, who got rewarded for that with appointment to be the Secretary of Transportation, which I suppose is only proper given that her family runs a PRC sea freight enterprise, the topic is in her blood. We could actually do far worse.

If Democrats get less than 15% of the black vote (I believe that's the number)it becomes mathematically impossible for them to take the White House.

If the Dem nominee is caught on video stabbing a 6-year-old Haitian orphan at a Klan rally, they would still get more than 15% of the black vote.

On the other hand, last I saw, Trump was polling at 42% among black males. If that translates to voting, that will flip a lot of states.

Blogger Damelon Brinn October 30, 2019 1:56 PM

I don't expect it to. I suspect that some of those polls are an attempt to keep conservatives chasing after votes they can't get, losing white votes by pandering to non-whites. I assume blacks who vote will continue to go 90% D until proven otherwise.

But if a significant number of blacks simply stay home due to being disgusted by the Dems, that's good enough.
